1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will jump higher to 400-500 USD after get 150 USD on: December 04, 2018, 04:29:17 PM
ethereum prices can be very expensive and can raise prices if there is good news, but now it seems very difficult to be able to increase prices because at this time the price of bitcoin collapsed and became the influence of the fall in the price of ethereum.

I think we should all forget about increasing prices for now. It'll be a surprise if it did but the way things are going, we're probably going to stay like this for a considerable amount of time. See you next year 😆
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC = $1600-$2800 & ETH $30-$70 on: December 04, 2018, 04:26:43 PM
I think you really harsh realist and I quite agree with you. Bitcoin might well go below 2000$ as well as etherium below 100$. Also I think there will be rail switching towards ripple and stellar.
There is no tangible proof of this idea. I don't believe prices will fall that far. It will stop at these prices for a while and then the prices start to rise again. Worst-case scenario, it'll be back in 2020.
I also believe that Bitcoin and Ethereum are unlikely to fall so low, but I do not rule out that this can happen for a short period of time. Ahead of the New Year holidays, then the Chinese New Year and the lull on the crypto exchanges, at this moment we can see a greater drop in prices for all coins than now, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.

it can happen since the holiday seasons are approaching many holders will sell their holdings therefore the tendency the market will dump and those dump will really affect the market situation this year.

Lol are you gonna be willing to sell at this price just because of the holidays knowing very well that the price may shoot up anytime? I don't think so. Though anything is posible, i don't think there will be any major selloffs anymore. We'll all be doing the whales a whole lot of favor if we do so.
1723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum will rise again. on: December 04, 2018, 04:22:18 PM
Just pay attention to the current bear market and ETH down on the coin exchange to number 3, I think this situation can cause some disappointment for Ethereum users, but I believe that ETH will rise again to that position in a short time. what do you think?
New forks or projects, but I think its price is not much and will rise with the arrival of the bulls. He is dying off, which is what the fall in his capitalization says.

Disappointed? The entire market is something that can disappoint short term traders and investors but eth, like bitcoin, is a long term coin. It's not a question of whether it will rise again or not. It's when it will rise again. Hopefully eth supporters are prepared to wait.
1724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: December 04, 2018, 04:15:21 PM
Congratulations on TRON contract triggers surpassed 45 million in 4 weeks. #TRX $TRX https://t.co/m0BHrea8R8

Nice. At least tron's giving me something to be hopeful about in my bleeding portfolio lol. Was quite lucky to get just above 300 sats so a good news for trx is very welcome. 😁
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: December 04, 2018, 04:10:03 PM
I heard there was a surprise in December and January that will be very influential in the crypto world, one of which is news about the NASDAQ and that should make the initial december really true there will be bullrun if there is no big bad news that hits the crypto world again
but in reality until now the market still shows bad conditions there is no sign that bullish will occur, even in my opinion until the end of this year the market conditions will worsen as last year at the end of the year showed a big decline.
I think that in the near future we will see the real outcome of everything happening on the cryptocurrency market. Further fall is impossible, because we can lose all cryptocurrencies. Although I really do not understand what exactly affected such a strong fall in cryptocurrency prices.

Nothing is impossible. Bitcoin can very well touch the 3k point and eth can go below 100 usd. Haven't you learned anything from the previous happenings? Everyone was expecting at least a recovery before the year ends and what the market did was break support level after support levels.
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you sure the market will come back at end this year? on: December 04, 2018, 04:04:14 PM
I thought and said  that "Bull trend is coming in 1-2 months dont worry guys" eveeryone too. We should not cheat ourselves. We saw many bull trap increasing and I dont think to cryptomarket will not recover itself until the end of the year.
this end of year could be hard for cryptocurrency price to recovery.moreover investors will take christmas holiday and it will need not small amount of money.because of this maybe massive seliing will happen in the middle of december.but personally i hope it will not happen.

I think this Christmas is going to be different. Even if they're whales, nobody sells at these prices. That's why I'm not afraid of Christmas. However, there is still no reasonable reason for the price to rise.
At Christmas, the situation will not change much. Those moods that are present on the market do not depend on any specific holidays. All this is much more complicated.

Yeah the prices right now are too low for mass selling already. Though it can happen, i think it's leds likely. Same for a bull run. Holidays would probably see us stagnant at this range until next year.
1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market in pain on: December 04, 2018, 03:59:40 PM
As the market is in pain with all coins declining dramatically in prices, for instance bitcoin dropping to as low as $3,700. And at this point of time, I still believe in cryptocurrency which will remain forever with us making a big change in our lives. So I am planning to be more active in bounty campaigns and trading. What about you guys?
it is not good time for doing those bro, many scam bounties around us
then, trading is hard to do in this blood market, it just makes you lose ur money

Well the guy wants to do something dude. And i think it's high time to accumulate coins in a market like this before recovery. In any way, be it in trading or bounties and campaigns and hopefully you're holding your coins when recovery stage happens.
1728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH continues to lose value (road down to $50?) on: December 04, 2018, 03:54:36 PM
I seriously wish this will not happen and if it does happen, I will still he holding my ether until it get to price I am comfortable with. I know the risk and the uncertainty before investing, I will not turn back on my decision to hold!

Salute to you dude! If only most investors could think the same way then we probably wouldn't be in this bear market for this long. That's a plan i share with my holdings as well. E enter this market, we should be aware of how high risks are. Ether has an established foundation in crypto already and the price doesn't reflect it's worth.
1729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I just SOLD my girlfriends car to buy more ETH at sale price :) on: December 04, 2018, 03:40:56 PM
Some hours ago i posted this after realizing the big drop...  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5069276.0

So just gave a call to someone i knew he was interested since few weeks ago in my girlfriends car, and just sold it for 2000€..nearly 13 ETH at this prices..
maybe for others it is not a lot of money..but for us, it is..no more money left, and living with my parents! hahaha
yes i STILLL BELIEVE IN CRYPTO.. the best is still out there to come in the next 2 years i think..  so with a pair of.. I am  ALL IN  Grin

wish me good luck

(please dont follow the same behaviour unless you are as mad as me and ready to loose it all)

well done  Grin Grin Grin

The higher the risk, the higher the rewards dude lol. Though i'd admit i wouldn't have the balls to do what you did even if i believe eth or btc would eventually pick up pace. Good luck 😁
1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How Far are we from the bull run on: December 04, 2018, 03:29:52 PM
I don't expect any bull run on this year. Maybe bull run will come on 2019. Cause whole year of 2018 was very bad for crypto and December month will be same. So we must need to wait for 2019.

When the bulls decide to come to the market, they will do it unexpectedly. It can happen this December,  in January 2019, or later...we do not know anything about the time of this great event we are waiting for.
This is the way to test our individuals trust into crypto and our emotions. Being patient is only the key for not losing our money.
Bull runs happen surprisingly and nobody have knew it when to arrived. Anyone who could wait for it, they'll surely  get satisfaction.
that's right, bullish only happens suddenly because that's like the nature of cryptocurrency, and it's true that at this time our patience and confidence are tested to survive in cryptocurrency.

Well we can't disregard all possibilities and with still more than 3 weeks to go, a bull run could propel us back to the 6-7k range in a span of less than a week. Though i  can imagine the selloff of people who'vr been down for too long and are too anxious to sell. That's why it'll be hard for us to get back to another ath because of people fearing to be caught up high again.
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: established coins that have dropped or low cap coins on: December 04, 2018, 01:30:26 PM
Going into 2019 for short or medium term gains what is best to go after
Coins that had bull runs in the past or a lot of attention but have dropped greatly in price (eg verg and Dodgecoin) or low cap or new coins and hopefully will grow in the future

I prefer long-term strategies -that's just personal preference though. Certainly there are gains to be made by short-term trading, but we need to remember that this can be very risky in a bearish market.

With the number of bogus coins that came out this and last year, i think i'd opt to stick to old reliables. Yeah almost all of them are down but among new coins, these established coins have a better chance to make a recovery than icos and new projects.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ethereum will hit $1,000? on: December 04, 2018, 01:26:38 PM
The probability of ETH to hit $1000 cannot be ruled out but this will happen in mid-2019 when the market will increase in value and the correction period ended. If you are thinking about investing in ETH then go ahead and buy some.

That would be a good idea though i think you'd have to stomach eth continuing to drop. Short term holders would probably be stressed with how ether performed, even being toppled by ripple, but it's purpose is still for the future. Still a lot of room to grow like btc.
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My altcoins are down... by a lot on: December 04, 2018, 01:23:37 PM
Most of us are having the same portfolio we are all losing some of our investment because of the continues drop from the market,
If you couldn't make a quick trade to gain some profit from this bear market then you don't have a choice but to hold your crpto's and wait.

Lol. I'm pretty sure all of us are down now. And most can't stomach moving assets when it's mostly going down. So yeah, it may be very hard to swallow but people should try to extend their patience a little more since i don't see us recovering quickly from this.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of ETHEREUM this year on: December 04, 2018, 01:20:51 PM
I think easily back over 800 in the next 6 months, Too much damage done in the market to expect miracles. In a few years I see it over 5 k
It is a good dream ! I truly hope that our dreams come to pass and reach fruition!
To spend more time with those we care about is the most important thing in life in my opinion and i hoping Eth were gonna ing flying

Lol. Eth definitely exceeded many expectations this year. I expected it to bounce around 200usd and not lower than that but it exceeded my expectation. I think it's trading under 120usd now 😁 itks for long term for sure and not for people looking at just under a year for their investments.
1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think what will happen on the end of the 2018 on: December 04, 2018, 01:17:59 PM
Well for me i do not think that there would be a pump for the bitcoin like last year but still i am hoping that it will happen next year or maybe pump but not like last yeat as well. For you what do you think will happen

Waiting for bull run, but I cannot say that I completely believe in it. Most of new project will appear in 2019 or in 2020, so there is nothing we can do right now, except for waiting.

Probably better to save ourselves the disappointment of expecting a bull run. I mean, it can happen and we'd all be thankful but with the movement the whole year, i'd be happy if we can get back to above 5k to end the year.
1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run in december on: December 04, 2018, 01:15:21 PM
still another 4 weeks to go... i hope the final push can make bitcoin bull run.
A few hours ago I heard and read this "one of the top twenty wealthiest Bitcoin addresses has a huge amount of 66,233 BTC, which is worth a little more than $ 257 Million. This address hadn’t been active since 2014"
This makes me increasingly insecure if the end of the year BTC will be strong.

Source: https://cryptopotato.com

if they will sell it then the price will goes at the bottom because 66k worth of bitcoin will really has a huge impact to the market if the owner sell it in a single transaction or even sell it all then the price will drop.

I don't think the owner would sell it at this point though. Imagine how much he/she/they will lose if they let go of that much btc. Though if you think about it, they should already be in huge profits considering btc's value when they got that. When it comes to  bull run this december, let's not fool ourselves. We all know how unlikely that is.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: DYOR before joining!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: December 03, 2018, 05:59:17 PM
You are right because majority FOMO'ed and wasn't able to get out on time. And for those who have bought it at such a high price, majority of them get out when the price goes below the 5 digit mark and bitching around that they have lost in this market and blaming bitcoin.

It's a hard lessons to learn but you need to understand that the price doesn't go on parabolic rise although the market is fairly young, but you can see that it works on cycle. So now we're on the wrong side of it because its goes on a bearish mode for almost a year now. So there's no guarantee whatsoever that you will always see good profits.

All these people had to do was hold but they lacked patience.  Go back and look at the past bitcoin charts, these type of crashes are normal and bitcoin always rebounds stronger.  There is also a lot of manipulation at work here and the bitcoincash hash wars made the crash even worse.

Lacked patience or can't afford to go long since they expected quick easy profits. If you made your research, you'll know that it's very dangerous to have that kind of mindset when you're in this industry. It could've saved a lot of people's money if they took time to get themselves familiar with what they're doing.
1738  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the market on: December 03, 2018, 05:56:16 PM
current market prices fall down. its bear long time continue to fall market prices. now we are entry in December but don't change. actually we are dont thinking what can to do future. we are hoped that in December and 2019 we can see prices rise. must we will can see bright in near future .

Bitcoin market future is uncertain now. Lack of interest of people has made people move out of crypto and we are left with only  $130,379,883,605 Market cap, which is too much low. We need more investment in this market in order for the market to recover well.

Why do you think that such market cap is low? It's $130 billion, and, for example, Apple's market cap was $76 billion in 2008, after which it has been risen to today's $1 trillion. Or maybe take a look at Microsoft Market Cap history. It was  $107 billion at some point in 2009 and it's over $800 billion today.

No, $130 billion is not a low number for a market cap. Actually this number means that the business is booming, and the probability of going down from this point is much lower than that of going up.

I agree with that. Well looking at it in the smaller picture may seem to be worrisome since we indeed got down in terms of marketcap but if you zoom out and look at it from the bigger perspective, crypto is still growing despite all the challenges thrown it's way.
1739  Economy / Economics / Re: Banking is Dead… Long live Blockchain Banking! on: December 03, 2018, 05:53:48 PM
Once it's socially accepted and risk-free to make crypto transactions, no one in their right mind would stick with traditional banking systems.

You have little control over your hard-earned money and very little financial privacy or freedom. Various people can know exactly how much you make, what you buy and these funds can be seized by governments. Also expensive to make foreign transactions!! Not too practical in a globalised world.
unfortunately at this time there are still many governments that think like that and take action as you think. the government seemed to protect the bank, for the continuity of their economy

And it will continue to do so. I don't see governments taking crypto over conventional banking anytime soon. And banks know that crypto, if it gets mass adoption,  will remove their stranglehold over the people. But banking is far from dead and would probably continue to be the main system for a long time.
1740  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: December 03, 2018, 05:49:12 PM
What are your opinions?

For a long time I thought BTC stabilized at $6400, then boom!

I would like to get some views to help me decide what to do.

It has been a wild ride (to put it mildly!)  It can be scary.
Yes, a few days ago we saw a decent drop in the price of bitcoin and another cryptocurrency. This caused a certain panic among holders of cryptocurrency and reminded us that there is no stable cryptocurrency market. The fact that Bitcoin sometimes seems to be stable in price is rather an exception to the general rules of its high price volatility in nature.

Everything could be happen in crypto space which we already been seen from previous years. Due to its behavior, nobody can determine when will it goes up and down because everything is still in speculation.

Lol. I don't know if having a stable market should calm me down or make me wary about another drop. I was expecting the opposite of whatks happening right now this november and december and if i'm not targeting a long haul, i'd be really anxious on where this would go in the short term.
