Vosk,
Nice vids, love the channel. Best of luck. I like that you gave Zpool and Granat-gas pool a shot. So as of current, whom have you pointed your miners to? I know you had originally been a fan of prohashing.
Thanks man I really appreciate that I certainly like prohashing still, but uptime has been an error plaguing them for months now . . I would definitely recommend granat-gas as my preferred pool to mine on with prohashing as my backup pool and nicehash as that backup pool

Can anyone give me a link to their D3 mining on nicehash? pref just 1 d3?

So far comparison between Granatgas and Zpool Miner started mining same time and disconnect same time, exept if pool get down. Dude, how that is similar vs of Bibi187??? Zpool.ca $0.082 G'gas $0.081 Your case, zpool.ca is higher no? The earnings charts are a bit confusing to compare but granatgas is ~22% higher earnings http://voskcoin.com/14-day-update-future-d3/It's broken down more clearly in this post Thank you for the video! Are you making $25-$35 profit, or after electricity cost? If you sell yours, how much are you selling it for? What would you rather put the money in instead of hanging on to it? Coins or gpu miners? That was before electric and the money will go towards btc zec zen kmd I’m pretty content with where my gpu farm is I’d like to diversify it with some ASICs thatll last longer than 3 months

Yeah, IPC is the same but at least it can go with 5+Ghz.
Can it? Source? I'm all for single core performance
Gamer? But I do understand your point. Hopefully the AMD Action this year will force some decent stuff out of Intel instead of the lazy approach. I mean, come one, even mobo manufacturers told us that they could use the same CPUs on previous gen but no, Intel wanted people to buy a whole no rig...
I hope so too. It's possible that the most profitable (fiat/day/cost/roi) mining piece of hardware at the end of this year is Ryzen. Yes I know it sounds crazy but it's possible. my 1800x has earned back about 100 bucks with very little extra watts. Phil what’s the current profitability on that and you think it’s a good investment to make as of today?
|

Dane, you’re definitely crazy. I love it man that is an epic project!
Clearly well thought out/ impressive
Do you have more on the actual mining farm ? It’s like I watched episode 1 and want to binge episode 2 lol

What are the ZEN pools you're currently using?
Suprnova / luckpool / zhash again as now that they’ve upgraded their site

your settings for 1070 to get 425sols at 65% tdp?
how about settings for 1080ti to get 800sols at 80% tdp?
I can not do 800 sols with any 1080 ti Best I've managed out of my Aorus is about 790 - but that was PUSHING it with a bit over 100% TDP (105 I think, for 262 watts) and +150 core +100 memory. 80% figure (200 watts) more like 720 sol/s ballpark, +150 and +100 (which seems to be the sweet spot for this card at ANY power level 75% or higher, lower it starts crashing at the +150 core setting). My Gigabyte 3-fan Windforce model overheats if I try to push it at all, it's currently pulling a little under 700 sol/s at 215 watts +120 core +100 ram (It's on a LINUX box where TDP is set direct as a watts figure not a % figure). ************************************ AND OMG ******************************************** It's on a riser for cooling reasons - and still pulling about 70C at 80% fan at a ambient of about 85F, despite the reduced TDP setting. What are your ideal target temps for cards? (realistic) + whats a temp range you consider too hot for the card // why and how long until (estimated) the card will fail?

@citronick I ended up going with this board and hopes that the genius pcie design doesnt short it all out O_O @VoskCoin I've been on the fence about that board. but I guess its fine, just a little extra work of wrapping the pciex1 plug of the riser with electrical tape. To add cards, I am trying to use the m2 slots on my board: asrock fatal1ty b250 gaming k4(6 pcie out of the box). On that note, does anyone here have any experience with m2 to pcie to work properly for card#7 and #8? The first time I tried, I was able to get windows 10 to detect the card but the card always had error code 43. No amount of bios or driver tinkering got it to work. I emailed asrock support about it and they pointed me to a beta bios. Finally had free time and energy to try the beta bios a few days ago. It had 4G decoding!!!! Got windows to detect the gtx1060 card and to install drivers. Ran ewbf but only getting 50sols/s while the other gtx1060 cards get 270ish. Tried switching risers and cards. Any card or riser plugged into the m2-pcie slot only produced 50sols/s Have you guys encountered this issue before? How did you deal with it? I will probably email asrock support about this again. I was actually going to ask about that, I saw one member used plastic shrink - but just a quick elec tape wrap sufficient? It's 33% cheaper or more than the other options per the prices when I was shopping for it

@hanskan whats your elec cost / where in AUS
Perth, 25 cents/kW - that's like 19 cents US I have 5kW solar going, that gets me roughly 1mW per month, less in the winter and more in the summer. Asia ain't that far away and I'm really thinking of finding a place with lot cheaper electricity. How long will it take you to recoup your solar investment? I'd love to have an energy source like that . .

Here is my overview and review of Luckpool which is developed, owned, and operated by hellcatz. Luckpool is a equihash mining pool with options to mine ZenCash / ZEN Zclassic / ZCL Hush / HUSH Komodo / KMD Zcash / ZEC Bitcoinz / BTCZ Votecoin / VOT The interesting twist with Luckpool.org is that the miner who finds the actual block on whatever coin they are mining is compensated directly with an additional reward (varies on coin) dubbed the Miner's Jackpot Checkout the full video here https://youtu.be/GQI3yJgM4F8

Maybe you can f*** with ebay with the old trick that you sell the contact to you and not the product. I did that with my browsergame-accounts, because the game-developer did not permit selling accounts. But gifting them and selling me works I guess this will not work with high-value-things like D3 - but i am not sure. @VoskCoin i recommend you not to use ebay. I had opened another thread to determine the risk. The things people reported (things happening to them) were awful. You can expect someone to buy it, mine it 1 month and then return it. You will never get the same price again in a month. Plus you pay the 10% fee for ebay. Paypal/ebay will pretty much always side with the buyer and not the seller. Here is theThread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2215455.0appreciate the link . . pretty disheartening reading a lot of those testimonials, wish some people weren't total shits
