1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: August 13, 2020, 10:22:59 PM
Actually both slots and dice games are both good for playing as a gambler. Now the betterment of playing among the two will now be dependent on the player himself. Other players might find playing slots a lot more easier, fun and better compared to playing dice games. While on the other hand for those players who are an avid fan of playing dice finds it to be more fun, easier and better compared to playing slots. Now the point is that the betterment of playing slots and dice varies and depends on the player's perspective on how he find those games interesting to be played with.

You cannot push through playing dice games to those people who play slots and vise versa because you do have different preference and different experience on playing those games. Now, if you do really want a certain person to understand your point and let him realize the difference of both and tell why you have said that playing dice is better than slots and vise versa, then let him watch you play and let him experience and if the stand still remains the same, then do not bother to push through because both sides are agreeable for many people have their own preferences with regards to the game they play on gambling. The important thing is that you are having fun and enjoying the game itself.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 13, 2020, 09:51:50 PM
If they wanted come back into operation at the first place, they must have set strict rules and regulations regarding the implementation of health protocols to prevent the further spread of virus knowing that among the other countries in the world, US is the outstanding country to be on the top spot of having the most number of cases when it comes to covid-19 infected individuals. Now, if those casinos have failed to conduct and observe certain health protocols that have come up into creating more cases to arise, then they must not be spared and bound into exception from the lawsuits of the government because at the first place they must not have opened up and came back into operation because such idea is still not advisable at this time of pandemic.

But since they wanted to be back for them to be able to work and earn a living, they must have implemented strict health protocols to avoid getting shutdown for not following such rules and become a big reason for the further spread of infection. If casinos are really afraid from lawsuits they must have obeyed and followed health protocols to keep their workers and players safe all the time. But if I would be a gambler to play, I would rather be playing at online casinos for it is the safest and most convenient platform at this time of pandemic rather than risking my life going outside to play on a casino establishment which is impractical at times like this.
1763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Flooding in China effect on bitcoin on: August 13, 2020, 05:57:07 PM
First and foremost, the Three Gorges Dam is not meant to hold back the monsoon season. The monsoon season comes whether we like it or not, whether they are prepared or not, and whether the dam will withstand it or not.

The hydro season does not come as a surprise. It comes annually and so I think the miners within that region must have already foreseen some possibilities and made the necessary preparations. As a matter of fact, F2pool has reported that Bitcoin miners have already completed what they call as the Great Migration at least a week ago in preparation for the hydro season.[1]

[1] https://news.bitcoin.com/flooding-threatens-chinas-bitcoin-miners-chinese-billionaire-says-three-gorges-dam-collapse-imminent/

I agree. Since typhoons and monsoons and trackable due to modern technology that can track weather forecast for the upcoming days and months situated that rainy season is already coming, miners in China will surely be alarmed to do migration to save up mining farms from the potential flood knowing that the dams are not built to withstand the monsoon season. They must know that certain parts of China would be affected by the strong flooding which can damage the mining farms once the flood reached that area.

Hydro season cannot be controlled or prevented but such preventive measures could be done to avoid mining farms from being directly affected by the monsoon. Also with regards to the price of Bitcoin once the mining farms in China would be affected by the strong flooding, there might be also an effect on the price of Bitcoin since big mining of crypto is located in China but we must remember that there are still lots of mining farms distributed around the globe so still even if there is an effect, that would be fulfilled by the other mining farms and as we can see Bitcoin's price is heading into a real good situation which we believe moving towards a bull run.
1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid crisis & evolving phases on: August 12, 2020, 09:59:31 PM
We cannot be so sure that the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic which is people shifting from physical money to digital currencies will be permanent already because such actions are just being triggered by the situation on which people are wanting themselves to be safe away from getting infected by the virus that can be potentially transferred through physical money. But since using digital currencies have been part of our daily lives this entire season of the Coronavirus pandemic, maybe it would become our new normal that will soon be adapted to permanent usage already.

This pandemic have boosted up the usage of our modernized technology which enable us to shift from physical to digital ones not only for money but also with regards to businesses which inhibit the usage of digital currencies on doing transaction. Right now, maybe we can consider that yes, this Pandemic might brought us up into permanent usage of digital currencies even the pandemic is already out since usage of such currencies have already been a part of our daily lives. But still, there are lots of people that would consider using physical money for sure.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 08, 2020, 12:07:50 PM
Such concept of limiting the amount of expenses being spent on online gambling will surely not agreeable to the gamblers out there for they will surely be feeling that they are being controlled on the way they were supposedly enjoying which is playing gambling. Although the idea was clear to lessen the gambling addiction and too much expenditure on playing gambling, still gamblers will surely not agree on this for they will feel more pressure that they must limit their bets to be able to make their gameplay last longer.

Also, the control on gambling plays will not be proven by this because it is already a certain regulation that will leave them no choice but to agree to be able to still play. The control on playing will not be testified by limiting the amount they must spent on gambling because addiction is kind of psychological manner and limiting gamblers will add more pressure on them since they know they are being limited on their gameplays.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting biggest winners. on: August 07, 2020, 12:44:30 PM
This just proves that even on a small bet, you can win a big prize. When you are lucky, then luck is all yours no matter what amount you place on bet. The list was very fascinating to see most specially looking at the 10th place on the list because just to imagine how lucky he is on placing a very small bet compared to the other people on the list but he still have won a pretty big amount of prize. Imagine among the 25 list, he have make it into the top 10 biggest winners.

This is really a dream of every gamblers to make a big win even at a small price bet or we can say playing on large bet but still winning a very big amount of price to fulfill the amount spent on gambling. But what we can really say in here is that winners on gambling mostly have the true luck on their side. Gambling games is a game of probability, chances and as well as luck that can be somehow be make used of strategies to win. If you did not win now, try again the next time but just play on proper moderation to keep up playing towards winning and not on debts.
1767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: August 07, 2020, 12:14:03 PM
If such regulations will be implemented to control the gambling addiction, it would be a great help for those gamblers to know their limitations so that they could keep up that playing must be only limited under restrictions. But such rules won't make sense to prove that implementing it will consider gamblers that they could handle their losses because addiction and the way you handle your stressors when it comes to managing your bets and losses is on a psychological manner. The regulation would just make gamblers to control their expenses but still it cannot state that a gambler can prove that he can handle the losses he have taken on playing gambling.

Also, there might be cases that because there are certain rules about limitations, gamblers might broke into managing his emotions for he feels pressure on how he would budget his bets to avoid making up £100 loss to keep on playing gambling. The regulation can have both pros and cons depending on how the gamblers would take it. Therefore, the management and moderation would still rely on the gambler himself.
1768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: August 06, 2020, 09:48:22 PM
There are really lots of places where you can get in the information you want about gambling and casino reviews online. You can easily search it on the internet if you do have an inquiry or you are getting curious about a certain online casino you have found and check some reviews from the people who have played on it already. Also, you can search latest news and updates online about gambling just like searching for a daily news to keep yourself updated.

Among all the possible ways of finding a resource for gambling news and online casino reviews, I think this forum is already enough for me because here, participants are actively sharing thoughts and experiences they got from playing gambling games and from different online casinos they have tried on which you can already find what you need by reading the whole thread. But still it is up to you on how you would like to keep yourself updated into the latest news about gambling and online casino reviews. Mostly, in my case, I read here in the forum then verify what I saw by searching the article online just to check cross reference and to validate the idea so I have the full information about that certain news.

1771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your plan when Bitcoin will reach a new ATH? on: August 01, 2020, 02:35:57 PM
Initially as far as Bitcoin is still not reaching another ATH, I am still keep on acquiring more Bitcoins at a cheapest price possible because I do plan to hold a part of it when the price reach a new ATH and also sell a part of it to gain profit and buy more when price started to put down and that is when I grab another opportunity of acquiring more Bitcoins to hold again and sell to gain profit. That is the usual cycle most of us basically do. Buy low and then sell high and somehow hold some for good reasons of course.

Right now I am just focusing on how I can maximize my earning capacity to acquire more Bitcoins that I can so I can buy more to be able to gain more profit once Bitcoin reach its new ATH. I am buying what I can while the price is still affordable so that I can obtain more potential profit when the expected event or scenario happen. This is just normal and seems to be a cycle for us who have Bitcoin. We tend to seek for opportunities on how we can earn Bitcoin first then sell it once the price increases and then coming from that earning buying again and then do the same thing repeatedly.
1772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the wallet is hacked, what should I do? on: August 01, 2020, 01:58:25 PM
Not just with the email that contained suspicious links/phishing links. But there are also malware where you can get from uncertified and unlicensed downloading sites. I remembered my experience from signing up from mining websites and then they hacked my email and password and hacked my crypto coins.

So, it is better not to sign up with any websites and prevent using same passwords and emails connected with your crypto coins exchange/wallets.

This is true. Unknowingly you are already being tracked down by those hackers based on the site you have just visited and not only through suspicious emails being sent. Sending email are already common and as far as I am concerned, I think only newbies will fall for that filling out private information from unknown sender. Hackers have already evolve the way they do their job and most of it are already cannot be easily known because they are surprisingly doing it behind your back into which you do not know and that is through the use of malicious malwares being inputted to sites to victimized many people.

So to avoid getting victimized by such, avoidance of clicking unknown links or pop ups is a must to save yourself because we do not know that maybe you are entering a trap of a hacker and little do you know and you will just be surprised that your account have been already hacked.

1773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kobe Bryant's death has been used for scamming. on: August 01, 2020, 01:23:57 PM
It is really surprising how the methods or the way hackers do intrude other people's private belongings most specially private informations stored in devices have evolved throughout the years because imagine even a wallpaper that supposedly serve as memoir or tribute for the NBA Basketball Legend and Superstar Kobe Bryant have been used for such illegal doings. This just proves how people most specially on the part of hackers will evolve their skills to do everything for the sake of obtaining money coming from other people's account.

In order to protect your device used for bitcoin wallets, exchanges, bank accounts and other sensitive things, you need to get two devices, one for such sensitive things and will not be used for browsing, no matter how expert how are, if they use their device to browsing, there is possibility of installing malware unknowingly.

Using another device for heavy browsing will be good,  not your sensitive devices. Like having two phones, one for only sensitive things and should only go online for such purposes related to bitcoin wallets or exchanges while the other for browsing and related things.

I agree on this and I really like the idea on how using two devices could be a possible solution for cases like this because it will keep your private information and social information apart which makes it safer for you to browse things up most specially this days that we do not totally know if such links or sites can be reliable. The challenge on using two devices is now to identify if when or how you will use those phones because there might come times that you think what you are browsing is a legit site or link but turns out to be not and you have used your device that is intended for private matters. But the idea of this was really good for me though it is a hassle because you will be using separate devices but if it could be a possible thing to keep your private information safe, then why not give it a try then.
1774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment plan on: August 01, 2020, 12:44:04 PM
For me, Bitcoin and Ethereum are my best and safest choice for investment ever since I have got into this industry. It is undeniable why people would prefer putting a big percentage of their money for investment on Bitcoin because it is the most popular and trusted cryptocurrency of all time and many people would surely prefer investing all of their money on Bitcoin if they have no choice on which coin they would invest on the part of Altcoins.

I do still prefer Ethereum despite of the circumstances that it have been struggling to raise its price because I believe on its capacity and capability to improve and I am pretty sure that it is all worth it investing with Ethereum.

If I would be parting my money for investment with crypto, I will put the largest percentage of about 70-80 percent into Bitcoin and the remaining would go to Ethereum. That was just on my part but if you would be choosing your own, then of course it would be best to decide on your own and not because of many people do prefer or want that crypto for investment. At the first place, it is your money. You decide if you are going to follow suggestions or make it into your own choice and decision.
1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction was faster than a Bank transfer today (for me) on: August 01, 2020, 10:31:39 AM
Actually either way of using bank or Bitcoin for transactions are good. It is just that the speed depends on where would you like to transact the money if it would be a local or international one. Well on my case, I do experience fast bank transaction even at this pandemic while I am using digital banking app on my phone and it was just seamlessly fast to be confirmed compared to when you are going to the bank branch which would take time for there are stations and processes that are needed to attend to. But when it comes to bank transfer internationally, expect that it would really take time for there are certain confirmations that is in need to process the transaction.

With regards to Bitcoin transactions, there would be times that the transfer is seamlessly fast but there are also time that it would take a long time due to congestion of many Bitcoin transactions waiting for confirmation. But if you are really in a hurry, you can try to top up which will cost you extra fees to make the confirmation faster.

Both have their fast and slow transactions depending on the situation because most of the time, they are unlikely to be fast or slow. Process of confirmation or placing your transaction is the one making it fast or slow. You just have to be patient for it will be confirmed and be transferred once and for all.
1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: August 01, 2020, 09:57:55 AM
Luckily, I currently reside in a country wherein Bitcoin usage, trading and investing is not illegal but the case is that our government seems not to care at all but when the news they have got that many of our fellow citizens are up into using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, they told us that they won't prohibit any doing with regards to this kind of currency rest assured that we do it on our own risk and they do not momentarily encourage everyone to get involved on engaging to cryptocurrencies.

So basically I got no problem already on the legality of trading Bitcoin. But in part of that, we have a law that will punish anyone who will use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on money laundering and scamming which is certainly good because we can freely use Bitcoin and at the same time we have some sort of protection from our government.

So far, I am doing good not to face any pressure or problem on Bitcoin trading for I let myself first acquire prior knowledge about trading before I decided to got engage into trading.
1777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hacker Arrested! on: August 01, 2020, 09:25:06 AM
Seriously? Those kids are really that incredible to the extent that they have done such big crime that involves too many cases because of what they have done on hacking well-known personalities accounts and done money laundering. But I still doubt that they are only the ones who have do it all by themselves. Maybe they were just the frontal to hide the biggest names behind the Twitter hack. But if they really did that all alone, they are surprisingly unbelievable to have such high knowledge about hacking because they have carried out such crime that you can only imagine to be done by nerds that have lots of experiences in the field of hacking.

They are still at minor ages but they have already done such big crime. But those were still allegations and under deep investigation so probably as days will pass by, maybe the real ones will be found. I just cannot believe that they can do it if I would be basing on their ages but if they really did it, then their adulthood will be messed up for they will sure to get sentenced behind the bars.
1778  Other / Archival / Re: Bank Account Freezed on: August 01, 2020, 08:27:53 AM
You better do coordinate with your bank regarding your issue on your bank account because if there is any concern being raised, then you must be the one to talk them regarding your problem and how can you resolve such issue. Basically maybe there is a misunderstanding that happened because if the issue just happened just by this year, on which India have already allowed cryptocurrency in the country so maybe they have not been aware of it or there are other suspicious things that have happened and they are just waiting for you to get them regarding the problem.

The one who can resolve that will be with you and your bank for you have agreed with the terms and conditions applied when you first open up your bank account. The best thing to do is raise your inquiry to the bank itself and ask what happened that make your account frozen for quite sometime. Pretty sure that would be resolve once there is a decent communication between you two.
1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some gamblers have been arrestes in Bangladesh for money laundering through btc on: July 31, 2020, 11:57:23 PM
This is irrelevant case to your case, probably if they sent Bitcoin to Ukraine where they live it should by bulk and not a small number of transactions. But I don't know if the investigator will know the actual sending address of scammer since they don't know the transaction(I assume). So, there's nothing to worried about because Bitcoin transactions from the unknown buyers will not also directly linked to your personal information.

That's right. The case of those illegal activities and transactions are already in different case as of yours because it is not already your concern on who will be receiving the transaction because it is not already into your attention into whom you sold your Bitcoins and into what purpose your client would use such. Also, I doubt that it will be linked or traced toward you for the reason that investigators will surely focus on high amounts of suspicious transactions that would lead to those illegal transactions that are made from illegal activities.

That is why whenever you get into the online world most specially in this industry we are all into, better take precautionary measures to keep your private informations safe and that you will not be victimized by any hackers, scammers and other related illegal doings in this vast world of internet.

Just curious if how you convert your Bitcoin into the fiat since it is illegal in your country. I suggest always be careful who you are dealing on the internet.  Better to chose p2p exchange or you can exchange here in the forum.

I do also got curious about how the OP have deal on using cryptocurrency despite of the fact that it is illegal for their country to use such. It is kinda risky because you are bumping against the government law and that might cost you into some trouble so better be safe on doing because if you might not be punished for transacting into illegal personnel, you might caught up abiding the law of your own country.
1780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope this helps new crypto investors, do not hesitate to read on: July 31, 2020, 11:26:35 PM
Those were really good stuff and well compiled list for the reminders most specially for the new crypto investors. Despite of the fact that there are already some threads related on this, there is a point the we need to always make up a reminder like this so that new members in this forum can be able to see those reminders for them to be mindful of what they have decided to engage with is a serious matter since investment will be in need to engage money so it is really important for them to be well informed about everything they must always remember.

To sum up the thought of the list and this thread, it is really very important that you know what you have got into so basically you must know everything first starting from the basics so that you can be equip with needed knowledge you must know about doing investment in this industry so that you will not be mislead and you can gradually enjoy your investment journey with cryptocurrency. Learning before engaging is a must thing to do because without prior knowledge, you will be lost on this industry and might suffer to various failure. Better learn the basics needed and then when you are done, get to engage already.
