1781  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 17, 2015, 06:45:05 AM

But in countries like India, Banks are giving 7-10% annual interest rate depending upon the amount, bank and maturity tenure. So that's not very bad compare to what you are refereeing to.

Thats being done because the inflation is eating it up. You got 1 billion people there that some need welfare, of course your government will print money.

You always have to look at the net interest rate. If you inflation is like 50% and your government gives your 51% on deposits, you dont get 51% return you only get 1% return....

So yea. If your annual interest is like 10%, then the inflation is easily 7-8%, so you also get only 2%, and good luck with that becoming rich lol....

That's true and it's not even 2 % return. Apart from the inflation the market value of your investment would be even less after an year. Say you could buy something now for $100, in a year the value of that same thing would get increased by at-least 10%. So where's your ROI?
1782  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there anything similar to Brawker? on: April 17, 2015, 06:11:49 AM
It's shutting down and was looking for something similar. Thanks.

After BitMit, it is now Brawker. There is something terribly wrong about bitcoin marketplaces. Are people against using bitcoins in online marketplaces ?

I might be wrong but I think more or less these sites are shutting down due to less numbers of people using their services. And the reason for that is there are people who use stolen credit cards to buy stuff and then the purchaser ends up getting in trouble.

This is the reason why many people avoid purse.io
1783  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Skrill Mastercard on: April 17, 2015, 05:53:23 AM
Charge backs with skrill are possible, its harder than paypal but its possible. Verify your account before starting the heavy trades.
To receive funds, people just send to your email and you have to accept them via skrill website.

Yeah, just read this on their help page:

So I guess a scammer just send skrill funds and then go claims that his account was compromised andthe funds were sent by a hacker or something and receives it back?

Guess I just have to keep on looking until I find a safe payment processor with no charge-back policy.
1784  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Bitcoin Twitter Account (5000+ Legit Followers) on: April 17, 2015, 05:42:46 AM
I am willing to sell my twitter account with 5000 legit bitcoin motivated twitter followers. The twitter name is @cryptsypumps. This account will give you access to many money thirsty bitcoin followers. If you are interested, please email cryptsypumps@gmail.com or ask me on twitter. The cost will be between 2.5-3BTC.

I think the price is too much or am i wrong?

It is way overpriced. The twitter audit gives 79% rating so that means only 4000 of those are real followers.

And it costs around $20 to get 4000 real twitter followers, so $20 plus the age of the account, I don't see it selling for more than $30.

But maybe someone has better use for it and goes for over than that but I don't see it going over 0.25-0.3 at most.
1785  Economy / Service Discussion / Skrill Mastercard on: April 17, 2015, 05:26:56 AM
Any one uses it?

How easy it is to send/receive funds using Skrill and is it safe? Can it be charged back?

Looking for answers from experienced Skrill users.
1786  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can the President Kill Americans? on: April 17, 2015, 04:45:12 AM
Anybody can be killed when it comes to "National Security", if you think President is killing people for personal gains, you're mistaken. It is illegal but it's not easy to keep a country safe by following all the rules, especially when there is a chance that the criminal might use those rules to get away. It is then decided that it's better to remove those than to let them go to trials.

Remember the movie "Swordfish" __

Quote
Gabriel: You're not looking at the big picture Stan. Here's a scenario. You have the power to cure all the world's diseases but the price for this is that you must kill a single innocent child, could you kill that child Stanley?
Stanley: No.
Gabriel: You disappoint me, it's the greatest good.

It's easy for us to sit safely in our secluded homes and judge but when you face similar situations you'll then know that keeping a nation safe is difficult and harsh decisions have to be taken and sacrifices has to be made.
1787  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: April 17, 2015, 04:18:36 AM
Well, in theory bitcoins have some advantages over standard gold. I will try to name some of them.

Unlike gold, bitcoins are:

1. Easy to transfer (worldwide transfers in seconds!)
2. Easy to secure (you don't have to build a safe to store bitcoin!)
3. Easy to verify (you don't need to be a goldsmith!)
4. Easy to granulate (how are you going to divide your gold ring?)

So in theory bitcoin is a better choice. The pros of Bitcoin definitely outweigh the cons.

If you start to weigh advantages over disadvantages, Gold will come on top.

1. Gold can be bought and sold in any country. And gold is more or less bought for investment and the people who buy it don't really have the need to transfer it worldwide. But when the need to do so arise it can be liquidated faster than Bitcoin.

2. Gold can be bought/sold on bullion exchange, so you don't have to build a safe to store it.

3. If you purchase gold from registered sellers/banks, it comes with certificates of it's authenticity, so you don't really need to be a goldsmith to verify it.

4. You're confusing gold bought for jewellery (as ring, lockets etc) with what we are discussing here, gold as an investment. And if you buy gold for the latter, it can be cut into pieces and sold as per the needs.

1790  Economy / Services / Re: Earn BTC by Embedding XXX Videos on: April 15, 2015, 07:49:13 PM
0.001 BTC should at-least be the minimum per video. Especially since the price of Bitcoin is low right now and you would need to arrange an escrow because some people including me would find it hard to trust you.

as that will become a usual thing which may result in more violence.
They believe that nobody will do the same to them. And that is why they're acting this way.  Roll Eyes

Humanity should be turned off while you're making any judgements related to their activity, because they're not humans. Animals don't deserve your tolerance. Their execution should be cruel enough to make them think a bit, pure logic and no amotions here. Smiley

I agree absolutely. If you don't act like humans then don't expect to be treated like one. I think the Punishment for Child Rape should be..

PGP is like your ID

people will cross reference it to your public key and stuff like that.
Show them a signed message every time you send something to let them'
know that it's you and you sent it from that computer.

Cheesy Thanks for all the suggestions, Locking this down.
1796  Other / Meta / Re: PGP key on: April 15, 2015, 07:24:04 AM
Can you tell me what it shows and which distro you are using?

It doesn't shows anything but it does shows some script errors.

I use alphaOS but don't worry I'll figure it out, I just have to put more mind into it, which I currently feel a bit lazy to do or else I'll ask some of my linux expert pals.
1797  Economy / Services / Re: DA DICE Signature Campaign - 'Da' BEST Yet | HIGHEST RATES! | JOIN THE FUN! on: April 15, 2015, 07:04:15 AM

1798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maine cops pay Bitcoin ransom to end office hostage drama on: April 15, 2015, 06:49:30 AM
It is so ironic that the police department in the United States has to give in to the hacker's ransom requirement. It is a shame for our bitcoines that the hackers and scammers in the crypto world is tarnishing the bitcoin's reputation.

So instead of Bitcoins if they were to demand any other currency like Dollars or Euros or any other Altcoin would that have changed anything here?

There have been kidnappings and Hijackings in the past where terrorists have demanded ransom in other currencies, were the reputations of those currencies tarnished?

I don't know why when Criminals and Unsocial elements use Bitcoin, it is always said to have bad effect on Bitcoin. BTC is a currency and it will be used by all types of people. The people to blame here are the hackers and lack of security by these institutions and their inability to keep back-ups.
1799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you were an artificial intelligent robot, what currency would you accept? on: April 15, 2015, 06:39:44 AM
If I were an AI Robot and developed enough intelligence to understand the basics about currencies, material etc. and how world works. Than I won't be interested in accepting any currencies, I'd first find a way to eliminate all the Human Race.

Because as we know.. Grin

I hope I am good enough to help you.

Linux only.

Installing Bash:

 • sudo apt-get install build-essential
 • wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/bash/bash-4.3.tar.gz
 • tar xf bash-4.1.tar.gz
 • ./configure
 • make
 • sudo make install

Installing cURL:

 • sudo apt-get update
 • sudo apt-get install curl

Uploading PGP public key to Keybase:

 • Select third option - "command line with [bash + GPG + cURL]".
 • Copy-paste the code in your terminal and press "Enter/Return".

Codes Commands used here:

 • sudo :- Gives superuser/root privileges when running a command.
 • apt-get install :- Does everything that is needed so that your system can successfully execute the newly installed software application.
 • apt-get update :- apt-get update downloads the package lists from the repositories and "updates" them to get information on the newest versions of packages and their dependencies.
 • wget :- Retrieves content from web servers.
 • ./configure :-  It will check if you have everything needed to build the application and if it sees any critical errors it will inform you.
make :- Compiles the source code to binaries.
make install :- Moves all the needed for application files to the appropriate system directories.

Don't thank me, thank Google and AskUbuntu. Smiley

P.S. Sorry if there is any typo or mistake and/or if I missed any step. If there is any experts, please take a quick-look. Thank you!

I wish it was that easy mate. I already installed Bash and Curl yesterday and tried the 3rd method but nothing happens. I am also not on Ubuntu I use a different distro altogether and things aren't as easy in it as they're in Ubuntu.

But thanks for putting up the time and effort in finding me a solution. Really appreciate it.

I think I have to do it on windows because I am guessing the script they ask to run in the terminal is for windows. But then I have to move my PGP key there for it to work which is why I am trying to find a way to accomplish it over linux.
