1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 29, 2022, 11:52:02 AM
I think it's time for Jazz players to move further as they tried 3 years with this team and nothing good came from it. Also , they should think very good that they had OT in their hands.
Not gonna like, Jazz is just another team with a lot of future but it seems that they don't have the perfect player to complement with each others.

As I have said, the ML line for Dallas is very attractive as I was able to bet at 1.90. And so I will agree that the core players of the Jazz will have to disband, time to rebuild the team, although I have to blame their coach here as we wasn't able to bring the pieces together.

Not only their coach is to blame , but them as well as you cannot play an NBA play-off game with that mentality ...you simply cannot. Also , I don't want to deviate from the subject , but why is Ben Simmons in NBA ? I have no idea till this day.

Anyway, back to Jazz ...they should rebuild this year and bring a new coach , maybe someone from Europe ? Who can train and manage his team in order to take winning shots ? and not being a "superstar" thinking he can beat the game by his own ? Mitchell said before the play-off start that his team is doing the same thing they did last year ...losing focus , desire to win is low and the effort cannot be sustained at the same pace ... .

Also, I would have bet that Luka wouldn't have shot that 3 point, and instead, he would have gone for a dribble and moving towards basket for 2 points and most likely a fault because, that's what you suppose to do in that situation and not shooting a blind 3 pointer thinking it will hit...lol.

I think the game plan was really to shoot a 3 point so they will win and will not bring the game into OT. if it wasn't their intention, then the ball should have not be in the possession of Bogdanović which is a good 3 point shooter. If they'll go for a 2, they could fish for a foul while having a good look to the basket, but like I said, the play was to shoot in a 3 point line.
1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: April 29, 2022, 08:09:47 AM
Mark Magsayo's fight with Gary Russell Jr. was a splendid fight, maybe they are really pushing Mark Magsayo to stardom just like Manny Pacquiao, .....

I don't believe this will happen, that's a good ambition but the way how Magsayo fought, he doesn't have the quality of Manny Pacman, and actually, there's no active boxer now IMO that would reach the same success as Manny had. The closest is for me is Donaire only.

Nothing can reach the achievement of Manny Pacman, becoming an 8th-time division champion is no joke, not even the popular boxer can achieve that soon. Filipino boxers are good, Magsayo is good but he is not as good as Manny Pacman, we have to accept the reality, though let's still give him a chance to prove himself and maybe he'll go up in weight someday and he'll achieve, who knows, but I doubt.
1783  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the end of Fiat money at hand? on: April 29, 2022, 07:35:41 AM
You have to understand that crypto and fiat are different, though you stated there are stable coins, however, they are still part of crypto and they are regulated by the government that created FIAT. Therefore, to make it short, the government will not allow FIAT to be replaced with something they cannot control.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 29, 2022, 07:14:38 AM
It's looks like the voting is tie, 12 a piece. So definitely, boxing bettors are not to sure in this fight. Maybe there will be fans of Kambosos because of his huge win against Lopez or Haney because he has the ability to play defense and could survived George power early as he can turtle and try to break Kambosos mentally in this fight. So we will see, definitely an exciting match for us.
This is surely an exciting fight because people believe that it's not only a one-sided fight. Both are champions, so it's a fair match although Kambasos is the underdog per betting sites. Beating Lopez is not easy but Kambasos were able to do that, it was a bloody fight but he survive and won the fight.
1785  Other / Archival / Re: Bears continue to dominate on: April 28, 2022, 10:28:28 PM
The month of April still stabilizing a declining trend...

We've seen such momentum keep alive and even likely push it down close to $30k. We once drop below $30k this year and this might be possible to happen again. I'd see how the war has been affecting the market unlike how the pandemic gives impacted, it is very opposite in direction. And I hope this could not create panic selling or else, we experience an absolute downfall like 2018.
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: April 28, 2022, 09:57:01 PM
I know that touching the scam token is very risky. It seems like that the only solution to let it still there in your wallet and you can do nothing about that. If you wanna try to avoid the wallet and just try to make sure your public address being secured privately.
The useless tokens are so annoying for us. It's making even harder for us to know which tokens that available in our wallet. It's better not to put yourself into the risk by touching it.
How does it comes becoming risky when touching them? Did someone ever try being harassed or threatened? I actually receive some of these useless coins (accidentally or not) but never do I experience such a scenario as messaging me on telegram or maybe there is, however, I don't talk to PM, especially if I don't know that person or if e never expect someone to do that.

Well, if you are afraid to delete it, then better to ignore them and abandon that wallet.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 28, 2022, 12:44:38 PM

There would really be one winner and its true that both does have already the experience in between their abilities on how they do fight lets see on what are the areas that they had improved or enhanced
because they have seen it on their previous fight which it is just common sense that they would really be making out some adjustments.
This fight is something that is really that exciting to see but it would be better if Casimero and Inoue would fight but well lets just accept this kind of arrangement.

We will expect both fighters to show additional strategy after their last fight,

Donaire gives us some glimpse of his patience during that last fought that he won, something new, knowing him as
an aggressive fighter. We don't know if how Inoue will adjust after watching that fight, if how his camp will
comply and find the right counter from that new strategy of Donaire. Very interesting to wait on this upcoming rematch.

Donaire has to make an adjustment because Inoue already see what Donaire could give to him. He hurt Inoue, well, that's given but in the end it was still Inoue who dominated the fight since he won via Unanimous decision. If Donaire wants to beat the Monster Inoue, he has to beat him early, like what he did to his previous fight, he has to KO him early.

Let's just say that Inoue is superior among other boxers in the bantamweight division, so whatever Donaire showed in his previous fight, that would not affect Inoue because he know Donaire very well, and the fact that he beat him in their first meeting despite he was injured, that says a lot that Inoue could handle the power of Donaire.

Maybe because Donaire is getting older while Inoue is still in his prime. However, let us not close the possibility that Donaire could pull an upset here because this is a big fight, they will do everything to win as most likely the winner of this fight will soon become an undisputed champion.

Donaire should continue to work harder, if he have train hard in his previous fight, he has to double it as Inoue as a monster is a different animal.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 28, 2022, 12:05:28 PM
They will double or triple team Giannis when he gets the ball. Horford + Williams will have all the works but they will have a help just like what they did against Durant. They will swarm him with 3 players and going to force turnover on Giannis or pass the ball.

They can do that but it will lead the shooters open. Though Middleton is not playing Bucks now have a lot of good 3-point shooters and for sure they already know that kind of strategy by their opponent so they are prepared for it. Let's look back how the Bucks beat the Suns in the last year NBA Finals.

Interesting to see if how Boston will adjust or enhance that kind of defense.

They sweep the Nets because of the teamwork, both defense and offense are being shared accordingly, Tatum, Brown and Smart
are not just aggressive with the offense, but more on their defense. They move to this second round against the defending champion
another big test for Tatum and the rest of the Celtics.

Nets were good in paper but not in the actual game. That game 1 make me believe that the Nets had a chance but the next 3 game was a disaster. Kyrie was the in his usual game, probably due to the good defense imposed on him but that's not an excuse, if they were great players, they should have on the series against a younger Celtics team.

1790  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reason people join bitcointalk forum on: April 27, 2022, 11:31:38 PM
Apart from the two points you listed above, which are;
1. To earn
2. To learn
Yes, but the calculation of the people who are here earn is huge that the number of people who're here to learn and I can say 95% of the people that join the forum before the Covid-19 happened are here to learn.

Earning is somewhat the most reason why but learning is just about to happen because it is needed. I'm not sure where 95% came from but I believe the majority of 100% has been thinking that cryptocurrency gives us a profit while learning. This is all about the money that increases market interest in the community and it brings them here.
- Traders  makes use of this forum to gain idea and applied to actual trading and the result is profit-money
- Investors collect ideas in here which coin is a good investment and the results are positive -still earning money
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 27, 2022, 01:18:59 PM
The Suns showed they could win a game without Devon Booker as they take a 3-2 series lead. Bridges picked up the slack for them putting up 31 points, which is somewhat unexpected from him in a playoff game.

The Suns have the potential to finish the Pelicans in their next game because the game last night was just a one-sided match-up where they didn't even get a chance to catch up in the second half. If they can remain their way as they used to play in the Regular Season, the Pelicans have already been knocked out in 4 but as we all know, Playoffs are different because there is more pressure than usual and every decision made is crucial and important.

The last game prior to the win of the Suns was also a one-sided game but the Suns bounce back, so you cannot tell that the Suns will finish the Pelicans as they will be heading back to the home of the Pelicans. Hopefully, Ingram is okay after a hard fall.

Let's setting this discussion via betting, both teams have their own believers but we cannot deny that the Suns were the favorite to win the series and they are proving that they are a great team as even without Booker, they are still leading the series. They are just one win away to winning the series, so the Pelicans has to figure out how to limit CP3 as that's their only chance of beating the Suns.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: <<<NBA>>> Pelicans vs Suns GAME 5 on: April 27, 2022, 12:53:54 PM
Bad choice, LOL.

Suns did the right thing by winning at home, Pelicans were able to make it a single-digit game but the Suns push harder in the last minutes of the game, resulting in a comfortable win and they were able to cover the spread. Sorry OP, better luck next time, maybe catch them in game 6.

That's alright mate, you don't win all the time but what's important is that you'll bounce back.
Let's look forward to game 6, there are no odds yet but I think Pelicans will have a better spread since they lost in the last game.

I suggest @OP that you just edit this thread for a Pelicans vs Suns series so you'll not create a new thread everytime.

1793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge Future Bitcoin Holders! on: April 26, 2022, 10:56:53 PM
A lot Unknown, that's why I ask a lot of questions.
With over 50 million millionaires across the globe and 21 million BTC , what happens when every millionaire out there gets 1 BTC ?
Half of the 50 is 25 and they can all get the 21million BTC.

Will the fact is that now all rich people give a dumb risk to investing crypto, they'll prepared to take the risk to bonds or real estate.
Rich people become richer because they simply continue investing and growing their company, not because they are investing in Bitcoin. And the truth is that Bitcoin is not for everyone and not all are holders, many are just doing trading which means that there is still a lot of Bitcoin available in the market. Unless all people who have Bitcoin will hold forever and never sell them that certainly, we can assume that 21million total supply of Bitcoin has been accumulated already.
1794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk bought Twitter on: April 26, 2022, 10:28:34 PM
I'm surprised twitter really gave into Elon's pressure. Not that I think 44 billion is small but from a developer's standpoint, it is not easy to let go of something that you have made and nurtured for several years. But hey, money talks nowadays. Anyway, I am pretty excited to see what Elon musk has in store for twitter, like what changes will happen; things he'll add, remove or improve. This is an uncertain moment for twitter in my opinion because this can easily go anywhere depending on what Elon does. Now I'm struggling as to whether I should buy some twitter stocks or not. Okay, maybe I will but not that much, just enough amount for the sake of thrill.
Well, for now,  in business money can talk and can deal fast. Elon is making moves to manipulate social media platforms, if he can buy Facebook, I believe he got all the power. Now that he finally got Twitter, I was thinking that he can really make a lot of things by the use of this platform and certainly it gives an impact on the crypto market.

We should be prepared for what next project he endorses as this surely making hypes like what he does to Dogecoin.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 26, 2022, 12:55:48 PM

Look at Donaire too, didn't bother to move up weight but instead, he specialized on his main forte as no need to force him to move up a weight. Discipline is the key and not being arrogant and that's what Casimero is lacking.

P.S As I said previously, I won't talk about Casimero here in this thread as he's out of the pictire here unless involving him with Inoue and Casimero.

Well, it's inevitable not to talk about Casimero in this thread since Inoue, Donaire, and him are like linked together in this current timeline. However, I'm starting to get disappointed with Casimero. He seems to lack of self discipline. He should step back a little bit in his engagement with the social media If he wants to become a better version of himself.
Inoue and Donaire are two classy fighter and doesn't need to hype or vlog everything they do unlike Casimero.

Donaire though move up in weight, challenges the champion that time was Nicolas Walters, a tall guy but Donaire was out of this league as he was knock out in round 6. It was so bad that Donaire has to fight in the Philippines after his lost to Walters and fought at 122 lbs and then goes down to 118 lbs.

That's true, so much respect for Donaire and Inoue, but at the end of the day, this two are going to try and get each others head.

He cannot handle a heavy opponent, not his weight and he was not able to carry his power. This is the best division for him IMO, he has the height advantage and he can really use his power to hurt his opponent, imagine, at his age now, he still beat a young champion and stripped him the belt, and that win was via KO.

I am also Eyeing for Warriors now , because they completely showing the Champion Heart now, not like in the past conference in which they are being behind  , Now the looks of taking back the Trophy Back to Golden state is knocking on our door.
I have different choice recently but now? maybe you are right that its better to risk in more possible winner than those who are in the edge of losing the chance .

I agree with this. With their bad performance last season, they successfully and still trying to stood up maintaining their current good performance. They were bombarded with bandwagons in the past. But now I see legit support for the GSW and I admit I'm looking forward to their win as well. But the Nuggets recently are being so good as well so this might change. I just hope that the GSW wouldn't choke at their tomorrow's game.
Yeah , actually i watch back their last conference games and watch theirs this present to compare the statistics and scoring specially the plays they have made and yes, improvement really on the team now.
they are showing dominance once again like what they did when they first took the trophy years back .
now if this is a great come back? lets give the credit to the whole team and specially to Steve Kerr .

Kerr always deserves to be one of the best coaches in the NBA.

The Warriors are still a great team despite Durant leaving them, Durant's team was swept by the Celtics but the Warriors are still intact and have a great chance of winning the series against the Nuggets, and not only that, they are also the favorite to win now. The first round will be over in game 5 for sure .

They failed last season due to Klay's injury and Durant was out, now they will make sure to get the trophy again because even if they lose Durant, they still have Poole who has a good impact on the team. At least, this team is well balance now in terms of defense and offense and if you are playing with the Warriors, you cannot sleep on them because they are the greatest shooters in the NBA.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: <<<NBA>>> Pelicans vs Suns GAME 5 on: April 26, 2022, 11:32:40 AM
I'm taking the Pelicans, they have proven that they can beat the Suns on the road, so why not give it another try. Besides, Booker is still not playing, so it's the same squad the Pelicans beat in game 4. I'm very much tempted in taking the moneyline, they won last time and even beat the Suns by 11 points.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 25, 2022, 03:48:42 AM
Just to let you guys know, there will be a rematch clause according to this article:

Quote
The 23-year-old Haney’s legitimate ambition led to him signing contracts for what could be back-to-back fights against Australia’s Kambosos in his home country.

https://www.boxingscene.com/haney-i-inspire-young-old-guys-other-side-street-stuff-out-window--165748

So that's how confident in this fight, if he beats Kambosos, he will more willing to fight him again in his own soil and beat him the second time.

That's a good one, if there will be a home cooking in Kambasos home, then most probably Haney would have the same treatment in favor for him once the rematch will happen. But of course, we don't want to see a dirty officiating or judging because it's a disgrace of the boxing organization.

Another good thing is that we will see a great fight 2 times because of the rematch clause. It's like the Fury vs Wilder fight which even reach a trilogy and it was a high generating revenue fight. I'm sure I will not be bored watching this fight knowing how aggressive Kambasos is and he does have a good stamina to finish the 12 rounds if he would not be badly beaten by Haney.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 25, 2022, 03:31:16 AM
I'm taking the heat -1.5.  I think with capella out the heat will find a way to win on the road.  And then I'm taking the Suns ML.  Chris Paul looked amazing in the 4th quarter last game and I'm thinking today will be more of the same.  Pels have a tough time with cp3, Suns with the win here tonight.
I'm on the same side, Heat and Suns should take a win tonight, for Heat, they would not make a mistake again giving a chance for the Hawks to have a big run to beat them, their defense will be tighter and they are going to win tonight with a good margin.

Suns... hmm... I think I would still bet on them but on a lower size, Pels is good in making an adjustment every time they lose.

Whatever makes you comfortable mate, just go with it. We cannot deny that despite the Suns being the favorite to win the series, they are not so dominant in the game just like what the Bucks did to the Bulls in the last 2 games, so it's a tough call as that means Suns will have to beat the Pelicans on their home court twice in a row.

It's going to be a close game imo, but I still think the Suns well capable to get a win.

I'm settling for a single props' on Valanciunas to get Over 11.5 Rebounds @ 1.86.

He's covered the line in the first two games of the series and came just one short in game 3, if there will be a low scoring game as I'm anticipating, then I believe there will be a lot of boards for the big fella.

Big Valanciunas  already have 5 rebounds now and 2 of that are Offensive rebounds, you can tell he is very active tonight so I have a big feeling that you will win your bet. Good luck @Harkorede, NO are leading now so it could also be a close game.

They have to win this game first, they need to keep their composure as their big lead is now slowly melting down. I see on the stats that the Suns has twice of the total 2nd chance points scored in this game, that only means that the Suns are more aggressive in getting the ball and Pelicans are not active defending it.
1800  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could hit $100,000 within a year, crypto firm's CEO predicts! on: April 22, 2022, 08:28:30 PM
That's an automatic bullish prediction, well, we could be happy with that but at least we stay realistic all the time. No problem with long term holders, but those who are trading short term like day traders, we have to be aware that the trend now is not bullish, it's more of a bearish trend and it's possible to see more down trends over time.

I believe that $100k is possible but would only happen once the correction is over and it's not gonna happen this year IMO.
