@LiskHQ:
I looked a bit into the gGmbH (gemeinnützige Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung) you guys are trying to set up and have few concerns if it's the right choice for your company. This is not intended as fud and please correct me if I'm totally wrong:
A gemeinnützige Gmbh is roughly translated a "limited non-profit company" or "non-profit limited liability company" which intends to act in a social manner and which is not profit oriented. This would put "Lisk" in the category of Social Entrepreneurship with the intent to develop, fund and implement solutions to social, cultural or environmental issues. Now I guess your main goal by forming a gGmbH is to get tax advantages (which are very high in Germany). gGmbHs are mainly charitable organizations focusing on philanthropic goals or social well-being ( educational, religious, cultural, scientific).
So my main concern is: How does Lisk fit into this category? Lisk may be scientific and research oriented. But at the same time a lot of aspects are for profit oriented (offering cryptocurrency, being listed on several exchanges etc). Are these aspects the reason for the delay?
I hope you could clear this up in your next blog post or meeting.
Thx
Edit: I guess that's also why the ICO investments had to be declared as "donations"
A gGmbH first and foremost is simply a non-profit company (focus on company, not foundation!). Reasons for being non-profit are often "to develop, fund, and implement solutions to social, cultural or environmental issues". However, there are also other examples of non-profit companies like various tech foundations show. Being a company puts it a little bit more into the commercial aspect while all profits go back into the company. The reason for delay is that Germany knows relatively little about blockchain technology. We will post an update. Cheers, Max

Hey guys, CoinCap.io published the Lisk asset profile yesterday. Happy to see it there. http://news.coincap.io/2016/10/asset-profile-lisk/PS: Some users reported that LSK vanished from ShapeShift yesterday. It's now available again. They updated their wallets. Kind regards, Max

I am curious if Max have some agreement with ICONOMI regarding voting with raised Lisk funds, besides the it will be hold long term.
Max clearly stated that he's acting as an escrow in behalf of Lisk only, nothing else. He's one of the escrow and possibly an investor also. I don't think he did not invest on ICONOMI. I 'invested' 1000 LSK to test if their system is working.

The word is Iconomi, say it with me. MAD CA$H 2,144,903.2357 LSK raised in Iconomi ico, definitely Lisk and Iconomi are both great projects, and have a good partnership, congrats. let see if what they can bring to lsk as it is already have some good investors but if iconomi succeed it will bring more for lsk, good luck dev for this partnership. There is no partnership. I am only securing the LSK for the safety of the Lisk community.

Both is correct. I am meeting with two persons today.

hahahahaha where are the people saying he's just the escrow, now? look at him the face of "I've been partying all night long for the past three months" That's his "Hookers and Blow" face.... That's my tired face. Conferences are exhausting (but so much fun).

Hey guys, for today's meeting there won't be a blog post before-hand. Once the meeting is over, Joel will prepare it with the questions and answers. Today's topic is China, the DevCon2, and the Blockchain Week 2016.
See you in about 5 hours.

Max is an escrow for ICONOMI to make sure that all invested LSK are safe. That's all.
Exactly. That's all.

When is this gonna happen? Happened a long time ago. Send an email (same email address as during the ICO!) to support@lisk.io. Thanks.

Jetzt mal ne blöde Frage zum Community Meeting am 23.09. Die letzten Meetings waren immer 6 PM (GMT +2) - also 18.00 Uhr unserer Zeit. Was ist denn 8:00 PM (GMT +6)?
Ich bin in China mit begrenzter Zeit. Deshalb diese Ausnahme. Ja ich weiß. Du bist auf der International Blockchain Week... Aber was ist denn 8 PM (GMT+6)? Ist das 24.00 Uhr unserer Zeit? 4 Uhr. Also 4 Uhr Nachts bzw. Morgens?

LSK is still 4months old
No it's not, it's a fork of crypti, you would expect things would be working by now. The codebase dates back to early 2014 To imagine what our devs have done the past months, take a look at this (incomplete) list of changes. Related to the code base, Lisk is far far away from Crypti already and gets better from week to week. Just take a look at all issues on github, that are closed already (172 at this moment). Our devs are doing an amazing job with strong community support (finding bugs, open issues on github, test new versions, making suggestions,...)! Please remind that the listed changes above are only for the launch version of Lisk. There are far more changes by now.

How has lisk been fairing? It appears to be a major success from an investors position. I have been away since the launch but I purchased all my lisk during the ICO at $0.07 and now it's valued at over 3x that.
not much, the volume has kinda died out, and price has been steadily declining since the big cash out during first trading day on polo. Some people has gone as far as calling Lisk a complete shit show that needs to be unfucked, but other than this, not much. They're trying to stabilize the network I believe so you can forget about dapps for the next year. Kasper don't believe everything what you read. The Lisk ICO was the only big one this year which made bigger profits for investors. We had since the launch of the project 13 updates, that is about 2 updates every month. The code base is now very different than it was in the beginning of this year. Check GitHub ( https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk) with over 1200 commits. Just recently we released Lisk Nano, a light and minimal Lisk client. We have been in Moscow, Shanghai, Beijing, Amsterdam, Berlin, Odessa, Aachen, and Cologne to promote Lisk. Soon again in Shanghai, Beijing, Cologne, Ljubljiana and more. We opened up our office in Berlin with 4 seats. Starting October we have 6 seats. Joel soon comes to Berlin. We hired a recruitment agency for more employees. A new PR firm for more marketing. I could go on and on.
