1801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don`t care about the market. I will HODL to USE! on: November 27, 2018, 04:28:25 PM
The market has fallen like this, and the value of my cryptocurrency has lost 80%!
I have no choice but to HODL, I will not sell my cryptocurrency at a loss! Choose to continue waiting, there is no other way!

Op is probably looking beyond the price of btc and to it's actual usage as a transactional means in the future. I actually like that kind of outlook towards btc and this will remove you from the people feeling anxious about btc's volatile ups and downs. Look at the bigger picture and the value will follow in due time.
1802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we still believe in Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2018, 04:24:31 PM
Yes I truly believe in cryptocurrency. We all know that the basic aim of everyone for participating in any investment market is to earn profits and there is nothing wrong in that. But a person should have some realistic goals. You can invest in something blindly and then expect your money to be doubled in a week. You should research and study properly and take every decision wisely.

I dont believe in Bitcoin because it is nothing, the value depend on supply and demand. I believe in blockchain technology. It will give many pluses for different spheres and help our life.  Cool

Lol. You probably lost quite a lot already not to believe in btc but think that way about blockchain. I agree with you about blockchain but at this early stage, bitcoin is the one that'll spearhead the blockchain revolution. The benefits of blockchain far outweighs that of btc but early adoption would bank on people becoming interested in it.
1803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2018, 04:17:43 PM
I think it is not over for Bitcoin. In 2016 Bitcoin price is only 500$ to 600$. So i hope it is not over. i also think that Bitcoin price ill increase once again. And recover it's price.

No it is not Game over for bitcoin. based on price alone we cannot decide. Initial days when bitcoin introduced it was just 0.31 $ and then it grows to unexpected value i.e 20,000$ in the year 2017. Its about the adoption and usage of the coins across the globe. we have strong feature ahead for Bitcoin.

Yeah but that time could be quite far from now. Those who are aiming for another all time high next year should snap out of it because this bear market may very well continue for a couple of more months into 2019. Though this is by far not over at all for btc and crypto.
1804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This why you shouldn't be worried on: November 27, 2018, 04:14:40 PM
I'm not so worried to bitcoin as a matter of fact I know it will rise again base on my observation.
What do you observe? give me a more detailed explanation.
I think, anything related to interests. At present, the fall of bitcoin is caused by hashrate war, so I think bitcoin is still a lot of weaknesses. If one day the miners are banned by the state, then how will bitcoin stay alive?

Miners are everywhere so i'm not that concerned about bans. What made think is when the price of btc dropped too low that it'll be hard for these miners to cope with mining costs. And whales wouldn't want that to happen so i guess that though calms me in a way at this time.
1805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ONLY A FEW PEOPLE WITH THE MOST BITCOIN CONTROL THE MARKET on: November 27, 2018, 04:11:29 PM
circulating about the large number of market manipulations carried out by some of the strongest people who made the btc prices decline. So that many people believe in that, then sell their btc and they are forced to leave crypto.

Well if you have the capability and the means to move the market to your advantage then why wouldn't you right? Many btc holders are easy prey for these manpulators especially those that are new to it and that gives them more power.
1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why most people believe bitcoin to be worthless? on: November 27, 2018, 04:04:34 PM
The reason why people believe that bitcoin will become worthless because of its price. Falling price of bitcoin is the only the reason why they think it is worthless even though it is not. Do you ever think that bitcoin will really become worthless? Do not believe on that but instead on thinking that bitcoin will become worthless just on how we survive in this current situation.

I don't think long time crypto users are taking these negative statements seriously anyways. You're right. Too many people are looking at the short term price movement of bitcoin whereas investors look way beyond to a time when the tech that runs it become widely accepted. If anything, we're just getting started.
1807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people were into bitcoin in 2009? on: November 27, 2018, 03:57:54 PM
Maybe a  few 100s. Boy! $5 would gave gotten me $4.4 million. I need to go back in time
I don't know about this but what I know that year was the initial effort of bitcoin and was born out of it and I am sure that only a few have used it so it is no more than now in my opinion

For sure not a lot of people took it seriously back then. Honestly if i heard about btc around that time i woouldn't even give it a second look. If only we could've been more open then but hey, that's just how things go. Bitcoin's current prive takes us back to early 2017 before it made a run for it's peak. Hope people learned their lessons now 😜
1808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Lose Hope Just Yet on: November 27, 2018, 01:58:10 PM
The market will soon improve and have a high volume, we will see good movement. Although this increase will be small and gradual, it will benefit the holders. The fear that we feel will disappear and return to repair.
We really hope that in the near future or even next year the market will improve so that we can regain all losses that we loss from this bear market. The thing that fear me is when the price of bitcoin will really drop to $1000 which can lead to a big losses to me. I hope it wont happen.

If you bought in above 10k then i guess you may need to just forget about your holdings if you still are. With the direction this market took and is still currently treading, i doubt you'll recover your losses anytime soon. I do believe that crypto is here to stay so that gives me something to look forward to way beyond the current happenings.
1809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices are Being Manipulated... on: November 27, 2018, 01:34:08 PM
Just what I am thinking about. I believe that bitcoin  prices are being manipulated but I don't know how can they manipulate the market, that must be the person has so much power in crypto world.

It is simple they orchestrated news, some huge sell within themselves.  They often time it when there is some crisis or conflict within cryptocurrency that they think may affect bitcoin price.  This manipulators have huge stash of Bitcoin and/or huge fund to play the market.  It is not a single person I believe but rather groups of person that wanted to take advantage of high volatility of Bitcoin and the weak hands that bought Bitcoin during the hype.

It's a known and accepted fact that the price can be manipulated. There are people who have enough resources to affect the price on their whims. Pumps and dumps are easy examples of how these people or groups play with little fishes.
1810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will survive in long run Bitcoin or Blockchain??? on: November 27, 2018, 01:30:30 PM
In my opinion, Blockchain is the gateway to the BTC and other altcoins that out there, They are working to support each other, So If there is no blockchain, It will be hard for BTC and other cryptos to have transactions when you are missing something. Its like part of our body without our brain we are useless AF.

Right. Blockchain will endure even when btc exhausts itself. Btc is the beginning of this blockchain technology and it, in all fairness, placed blockchain in people's consciousness but there will come a time when btc may be replaced by a more advanced, usable alt that's anchored still on blockchain tech.
1811  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of news circulating for Bitcoin prices on: November 27, 2018, 01:27:30 PM
Unfortunately people tend to react a lot more to bad news than good news.  Well good news could raise the price, a little good news wouldn't raise the price as much as a little bad news could lower the price.
In the first place, people will not make any steps when they will not be triggered. Since we have instinct, we will do the right thing we know that will benefit us. But what we will do sometimes is a big mistake. We react easily and we cannot control ourselves specially when we are losing a lot of our capital.
Sadly, negative news do have heavier effect. Panic kicks in quicker than fomo since people tend to be more reactive  when they're losing something. That's very evident at the start of this year when bitcoin started it's descent to where we are now. Though the current trend it seems isn't because of fud causing panic.
1812  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it the end of cryptocurrency? on: November 27, 2018, 01:23:39 PM
Well those three can't be the only possibilities why this is happening to the market in whole. I mean, yeah whale manipulation will always be a factor and who knows, maybe your second choice is on it's way but there could also be several other reasons for this. One thing i'm sure of is that this is far from being the end.
1813  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Falling Down? Is it The end ? on: November 26, 2018, 04:41:20 PM
Yow guys, just an hour bitcoin price drop nearly $700 is this the end, or is it just taking its time to pump so hard, or will we wait a years like what happened before ?

When we say that every dip made a new bottom is unfortunately formed. Now the new investor has completely withdrawn from the market. This should be better as soon as possible. Otherwise, everything is getting worse in terms of mining costs.

Well you can remove the possibility that we're all being played here by the big dogs. Bitcoin may still go down but i don't think the whales would allow it to fall so hard that miners would move to other coins.
1814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still early adopters? on: November 26, 2018, 04:21:47 PM
Cryptocurrency is still developing and if we say it's still early, I think it's true. In the beginning, I knew Crypto because of Bitcoin. Because Crypto had a turnaround, so many people had entered and left. And when this Crypto can increase very high, many people will benefit. So crypto is increasingly popular.

If we base it on bitcoin's current value, and knowing that it can go well beyond it's all time.high in time, then i guess we can still be considered early adopters. That is if we're not whining about this dump and take advantage of the low price to accumulate for the future.
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Ether? on: November 26, 2018, 04:18:11 PM
What to do on such market? Smiley))
you can do many things if you have proper knowledge about the crypto market. A lot of traders made the good profit already in this bullish market.Ethereum is a great asset. it is undervalued near to me.so I am ready with my USD and waiting for more dump. If Ethereum hit 80$- the 90$ rate I would buy some EThereum at this stage.I have strongly believed in this project.Etherum=supercomputer Smiley
in my opinion, I think that the Ethereum would be able to survive in a State that is currently going on.
with over time will improve not only this Ethereum and restore the situation as before to get more progress in not only this.

I don't think it's a question of "if" But "when". A lot of people still have confidence in eth and the technology it offers and that's the backbone of this coin. It had a rough year yes but was never meant to be a short term coin that's valued only for it's price.
1816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no more hope in cryptocurrency on: November 26, 2018, 04:12:57 PM
The market situation rolled back a year and a half earlier. This is very sad for investors who bought Bitcoin at 10-15 thousand dollars, and especially those who bought for $ 20,000. This is a huge loss. All that remains for them is to wait for a miracle and the return of the market next year.

I agree this loss will not be digestive as crypto has changed its track in the last quarter is thing which is most worried, those who bought BTC for hefty amount should hold their coins for few more days, as we always know there's only two options here pumps and dumps are its nature. Let's believe in this technology for a better future and I am sure it will go over the moon again.

Hold for a few more days? I don't think you understand what's going on now dude. I don't think anything's for the short term nowadays and mooning is probably out of the question. Let's just keep it real since many who got stuck or lost entered because of promises of short term wealth.
1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 26, 2018, 06:13:04 AM
Now the 4 game losing streak of Warriors has ended now as they won against the Portland Trail Blazers on their home. Is this an indicator that they will be returning to the Old Warrior team??

The ones that surprises me are the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Phoenix Suns who got their victory in the opposing team. The last shot of Suns' Crawford made them win against the Bucks. Lakers won again against the Jazz and they won 7 of their last 8 games.
With this win, looking forward to make them more hungry and more eager to gain more and more, GSW needs to boost their winning level again without curry they are often been test by teams who wanted to win against them, fans needs to see more from this squad and bring the championship category back and begin to make straight winning streak.
They also won today against the Kings 117-116 but it is their home. A win is a win but I think they must win on road in order to come back to the old warriors. Their past 2 wins are in their home and they must win too on the road.

On the other side, the Cavaliers won again against James Harden and the Rockets. Maybe just luck because CP3 didn't play?? or its just the Cavs are gaining momentum at this moment?

The Cavaliers did have a good game against the Houston Rockets. Sexton, Clarkson and Thompson had a good game. I thought that entering the 4th quarter, Houston was going to turn around the game as Harden is taking over, but Clarkson had a back to back basket stopping the momentum. It looks like they slowly blending it but I don't think it will be enough to get for a playoffs this year.

The warriors have been winning for a couple of years now hence they're the defending champs so i guess a little losing streak arent't going to be that much of a concern. And it's the regular season. I don't think they're thinking of ending with the best record before the playoffs yet.
1818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: November 22, 2018, 04:55:06 PM
Like the others, they are addicted to gambling because they want to get a lot of money quickly. And usually those gambling addicts have felt victory at the beginning of their gambling, and that made them forget themselves and addicted to continuing to gamble.

Those that are addicted to gambling are likely beyond the monetary aspect i think. Because if it's about the money then losing a lot would make them think about what they lost and what they can still lose. It's the process itself that they're addicted to not the result.
1819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH @ 158 USD on: November 22, 2018, 01:38:47 PM
I am a bit broken hearted now i know like i know emotions have no place in trading. I am trying my best not to feel a thing but i was so delighted when it went $177 thought that is just paving the way so bull can enter. Now i dont really know when ETH would be tired of going down and finally starts to climb up.

It's almost the end of the year, so who knows what can happen before the year ends or once the new year starts. Crypto is full of surprise and it is like a roller coaster ride, so before you started investing in crypto I hope that you are emotionally prepared for this. Being to depressed during the bear market will just make you make bad decisions which would make you feel even worst.

Yeah though honestly, even if you prepare for it, it'll still hit you in the balls when the price acts like this. I'm just taking everything with a grain of salt and hope the market recovers but the way things are moving, we're in for a cold crypto christmas.
1820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you tell people? on: November 22, 2018, 01:35:40 PM
I tell them that cryptocurrency is a digital asset with the potential of disrupting many sectors. Blockchain has made it possible for many tasks to be perfected, such as sending money from one place to another at a cheaper rate.

You tell them that and they hear negative and disturbing news all over media lol. So it's your word against what they hear all the time. It's becoming real hard to attract people to the market now especially since they're mostly looking at bitcoin's monetary value.
