Finally... I've been waiting for this for so long.

was renting out my rig, but suddenly got email
Your mining rig is rented out but not available to be managed over LeaseRig.net. Thank you for using LeaseRig.
Checking my rig, it is running super stable and good. checking logs from miner:
connecting to leaserig.net failed.
suggestsions?
API problem?

Hey Terk,
is there any issues with payouts today, i see they were sent out but, and my tx has 8 confirmations on it as of now, but i still dont see anything in my wallet.
Well, then it's obviously a problem with your wallet. hey guys a question is it worth it to purchase a 1mh/s 1 year contract scrypt at 179dollars?
You can buy your own scrypt 1mh/s miner for less than that.

i've waited about 90 minutes before for a single confirmation. it doesn't happen often, though. sometimes i get 2-3 confirmations within only a few minutes. but those times where a single confirmation takes over an hour -- very frustrating.
What I've seen happen is that an output spends unconfirmed inputs. So, even thought the transaction paid the correct fee, the underlying inputs didn't. So, those inputs are talking longer to confirm which slows down the outputs that spent them. I've seen this a few times spending from Coinbase. I think they need to clean up there implementation and spend older inputs. Perhaps they just aren't keeping enough BTC in their hot wallet which is causing this, but that is just supposition. sometimes if you watch for the next block, though, it literally takes an hour or more for the next block to be found. so it isn't about unconfirmed inputs. Variance. It's supposed to be every 10 minutes, but nothing is perfect.

I have been in ritz campaign it ends on june 1st. I plan to switch here on june 2nd. This seems to be well established pool. It also appears i can join it on June 2nd and will need 50 posts from June 2 to june 17th.
Looking forward to this. I am correct that it can be joined?
Yes, you can, and this isn't a pool, it's a signature campaign from a gambling site.

You can get ASICs and mine, you can do jobs on reddit and in the Services section, and of course, you can buy bitcoins. The guy above me is correct, don't waste your time with faucets.

I'd go with The Fury for the higher density. It's difficult to manage all the USB and power connections on the Gridseeds.
I'm just going to buy 2 for now. gsupp, as you might know, The Fury isn't supported for leasing out on Leaserig. Hmm, not sure why the Gridseeds could be rented on LeaseRig but not The Fury? I thought it was NiceHash that needed a newer version of sgminer that doesn't have Gridseed support patched in. There are customized versions of cgminer for Gridseeds, so API is supported. The Fury comes with a ZenController, which is a Raspberry Pi with custom firmware. Until a cgminer that supports these devices is developed, it won't work, since the built-in thing does not allow API access. Looks like they're not including the ZenControllers with every Fury order anymore. If The Fury is just a rebranded Zeus miner, Zeus sent out the following links today: So at least on Windows, it seems it would be possible to lease out a Fury. It's not a rebranded Zeus. It's a new thing made by GAW. I've asked their support if it will be possible to use a PC as a controller. I hope it's possible. What do you think?

I have dropped the price down to $300
Lol... then I would have to wait 100 days for it to break even... then wait for profit. LOL onother one! all peoples wanna get profit in first day! Not first day, a month or 2 is ok too. But 100 days is just too much, and the bitcoin market is unpredictable.

I am not sure if I agree with you on the shitier pool theory. But you are right shouldn't have posted a referral link on here secondly you are right about the orphan blocks I seem to see alot of them. Does cleaver mining show when it gets an orphan block?
No, but obviously, if a block gets orphaned, you won't earn anything. CM earnings are still higher than ghashes.

I use bitstamp mainly, as we know pretty much nothing about btc-e and I don't feel comfortable sending my money to them. I've heard many problems from BitStamp customers saying that they suddenly had their funds frozen and were forced to complete a long questionnaire to get the funds back, supposedly because of AML/KYC. Have you ever experienced that?

Is the guy who owns EveryDice actually called Edward, or to people call him Edward because the site is referred to as ED? Hmm. The message on the site ends with So, maybe that's why someone called him "Edward". Or Eddy, or many other names that start with Ed . I would not bother it will be hard to find him , and even if somebody do , what for ? What can u do about it ? Uh... It's just because the site is Every Dice.

If you buy a stock and then sell it, you get dividend and gains. If the price falls after you buy it, then not.
You are wrong for starters, if you buy and sell a stock you do not always get dividends and gains, dividends only get paid if you own the stock on a particular day, and gains are only made if you sell at a higher prices (Long), buy at a lower price (Short).
Nothing you said here makes anything I said "wrong". Have a nice day. It absolutely proves you are wrong lets look at your comment 'If you buy a stock and then sell it, you get dividend and gains.' you ONLY get dividends if you own at stock at a certain date at a certain time, if you are a day trader, you will mostly buy and sell stock without a dividend. part 2 or you comment mentions GAINS gains are only made if you have sold your stock for higher then what you bought (Long) or bought it lower then what you sold it (Short) I know this, I have spent 10 years in the financial markets First, please quote properly, I said that. I was simply telling PilotofBTC that an increase in share price would mean that you profit only when you sell the shares.

has anyone got cgminer or sgminer to work with the Fury yet?
As far as I know, no there isn't. If you reflash the pi, your warranty is void too. Now, can someone give an actual opinion and answer my question?

OP can you please tell me what you need to start mining with the fury? I havent really found any information.
The fury uses its own controller called the zenminer..done via the cloud The ZenController, not the zenminer. It's just a Raspberry Pi with custom firmware.

Hi all
recently I upgraded my Kaspersky to Pure 3.0 and now suddenly when I run BFGminer.exe I can get to the mining.bitcoin.cz website and enter my worker and then my password but whereas before I would see line after line of calculations, I now see nothing. This has been happening for about two days. Any idea what is going on? Is it the Kaspersky? Is it something else? Please advise and thanks.
Please post a screenshot. Also, it's probably because kapersky incorrectly flagged bfgminer as a virus. Agreed; it would be safer to specifically whitelist bfgminer within kaspersky than to uninstall it, but both should work. Most AV software flags miners now, since a lot of botnets employ them in some way. Also, if you're mining on GPU or CPU, it uses 100% of it, and some viruses do that, so your AV might flag it incorrectly.

I'm intrigued by Multipool and exactly how it works, haven't done any scrypt mining yet, still hanging on to Antminers and BTC pointing at ghash.
Anyone comment on Multipools? Will have to look at it more closely.
A multipool directs its hashrate to the most profitable coin at the time, and then exchanges the coins and pays you. When will scrypt cloud mining be available? Thanks byt411 I have started to educate myself on it. Regarding the cloud scrypt mining I saw a ghash.io comment on Facebook I think saying they have plans for it but no firm dates yet. A sort of watch this space discussion. Yeah, I know that they are planning it, but I'm just asking for a rough ETA. I prefer cex.io many times over scrypt.cc, with a crappy GUI.

I agree partly. I don't think it'll see a rise in scammers taking advantage as once people read the feedback they can use their brains to realise they still shouldn't be considered trustworthy. But saying that, I would rather the trust/feedback be earned other ways. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to be rewarded with feedback and I'd like to build up my own big green score like yours eventually and this feedback will certainly help, but I wouldn't expect it from sig operators just for partaking in a deal. I think it kinda devalues the meaning of it if you dish it out to everyone just for participating. Maybe giving it to top quality posters with no spam posts etc would then give it more weight, but only if it was only given to a select few etc.
I agree. Maybe only for like people who made 300+ posts, or 400+, and to Senior and Hero Members.
