1821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Payments Coin Vote on: January 07, 2014, 10:45:52 PM
Please add iXcoin to the list.

Thank you.

You were supposed to fill out the submission form last week.
Why wasn't there anybody from ixecoin around to do that? The submissions were open for a long time.
Is there an ixcoin community?

just wanted to let you guys know that i am really enjoying mining EAC due to it's relative stability and learning how cryptos can thrive over longer periods of time. thanks!

EAC is the future. You're getting in at a great time.

Great job!

am I crazy or does cryptsy have a new design when you look at a coin graph?

I mean the huge blue border?

this could mean BigVern is done soon... EAC incoming?

Hopefully soon.
I've been doing all my trading on coinex and coinedup until cryptsy gets EAC.
1827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GiftCoin [GFT] Wallet + Source available [SCRYPT] on: January 07, 2014, 09:23:04 PM
where to sell GiftCoin?

I've been trying to sell mine...can't find any takers.
1828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - NEW COIN JUST LAUNCHED] *EarthCoin* Is Here To Make A Splash For 2014! on: January 07, 2014, 08:22:25 PM
I support both Earthcoin and Lottocoin. What's an embarrassment is the amount of crybabies in this thread. I mean is it really necessary to start throwing around insults over a poll? The people posting above me sound like a bunch of children.

By saying we should not respond to them anymore?
Let's see if you post the same message in their thread or if you only attack the EAC community.
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - NEW COIN JUST LAUNCHED] *EarthCoin* Is Here To Make A Splash For 2014! on: January 07, 2014, 08:13:02 PM
Proud of you guys for sticking up for us in the vote thread naturally, and wow at the trolls in there.

Please don't go on in there anymore.

Art of war :: Even if they read this, it's too late, it's all faked for them - focus your energy on something real, let them pad that shit to the moon and the bigger the diff grows the better and more transparent their bought vote shows, and the harder their reversal will be. Appear weak when they (try to) appear strong.

EDIT: Above all, the objective is to get in the coinpayments system vs win a poll against people paying/being paid to post, or outspam/outdefend them (and we still almost won naturally, and +1 to whoever it was that kept calling out the briber haha - he rubs me the wrong way too). The owner isn't just going to add the faked or real winner by default I'm sure a lot goes into how they choose/why/and why deny. I'm confident we're going to be in there without having to touch that thread, consider it a big check on the list the team can feel good about as it IS important just don't need to focus much ammo there if at all anymore. Our brand is good and our community is stronger by the second - let's be productive and positive, no need to even be in that fight, nothing to prove there, waste of resources at this point.

Let's build stuff, keep getting the word out, and keep getting strong people over naturally by interest vs bribe or spam.

The footprint we leave is important.

I, also, think we should stop responding on that thread. It only benefits them. They want to be tied in with Earthcoin since they will have 40% more issued coins, yet are not worth 40% less than Earthcoin. Rather are currently worth over 1000% less than Earthcoin.
We should stop responding to them. We do not want to be associated with their coin or their (lack of) value.
Do not give into their trolling, nor their goading, nor their attacks.
Let's not have anything to do with them.
Do not respond to them

I'm pretty sure that the longer EAC stays off of cryptsy the better. It will give the little guys more time. The coin is on multipool and if it falls within the parameters of their algorithm were going to see huge swings in the ghs.

Yeah, I noticed it was added on Multipool.
I don't like that.  Undecided
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SHKL] CryptoShekel | LAUNCHED | Pools up & running | shilling intensifies on: January 07, 2014, 03:13:46 PM
Nice Logo ! Why I can't vote?

Because you're mentally challenged.

Any idea if our coins are safe? all my EAC are in their wallet  Huh

I'm sure your coins are safe. Don't worry about anything, let them post update.

For future. Earthcoin withdrawal on there is roughly 0.001 EAC. What I'd do is just withdraw after each trading session and transfter back next time you go in. Earthcoin is so incredibly fast, it would only take a few seconds to see the transaction go through and you would have a whole lot of peace-of-mind for that tiny fee.
1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / WTS- Giftcoins on: January 07, 2014, 03:10:58 AM

Selling 125.62351067 GFT for 0.25 Litecoins or 250 Earthcoins.
1834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Payments Coin Vote on: January 07, 2014, 02:48:42 AM
Good to know that people who voted for EAC do it because they believe in this coin, while 95% from the lotto voters get paid for voting.

I guess pr0d1gy will clearly understand that and take the right decision.

Yeah. It would be insanely embarrassing for lotto if they pay a couple hundred people to vote for them and still don't win.
I'm kinda pulling for them now.

A good way to promote EAC:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=397540.0

Don't let them choose Lottocoin (in the lead now).

Wow, I can't belive that Lotto crapcoin is even on the list.

They were paying people to vote for them...and we're still about to win.
Kinda feel bad for those lotto kids, this is there coin's last stand. It seems to be heading to hang out with Mooncoin.
1836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Payments Coin Vote on: January 07, 2014, 02:40:46 AM
Already the name "LottoCoin" keeps me away from trading. I wan't to make business and profit, not playing lotto.

So i'll better invest in EarthCoin for long term and hope that it will get a worldwide method of payments.

But it's OK when kids like to play with things that are nothing worth in the real world. For that we have lotto, doge, cats, mouse, pigs, chickens, manga ... ... ...

exactly how I see it...  what is so striking is that none of those guys here see this problem... when you mention it, they cry: but gambling blablabla...

as if that is something normal shops or serious businesses care for or want to be associated with...

imagine some electronics store having a "lottocoin accepted" sticker... anyone who is not totally into crypto will see the name and decide that they'd rather buy their ipod headphones somewhere else...

it just sounds sleazy

then imagine a fruits and vegetables store with "earthcoin accepted"... it just fits.
it has this green, responsible tinge to it. people respond well to the name.

the only ones that respond well to lotto are people who can't do math. hint: you always lose in the long run

Half of Bitcoins transactions are involved in online gambling.

Pokerstars has more then 50M Customers world wide.

One of the largest industrys in the world no matter where you are from or what your background is. Once in your life you make a gamble.

Your points are invalid.

Also, Earthcoin great for buying fruits?  Let me: Lmao.

Cheers!

look dude, no one is saying that there is not money involved in gambling.

but if you had read my posts here, you'd see that I am basically saying what you just said in your post:

gambling can be done in any currency. you quote bitcoin is so much used in gambling. great.

but how does that help or speak for lottocoin?

the point here is: a clean, serious coin can be used to buy drugs, buy a hooker or waste on gambling.

but a sleazy coin that has already such a sleazy business in its name has a hard time on other markets.

imagine a hookercoin. or an illegaldrugscoin or a gamblingcoin

people do not necessarly want to be associated with such a market or such a use. even if the very same people who object to such a coin go buy a hooker 20 minutes later with bitcoin.

money is best when it is as unobjectionable as possible. even when used for the worst things humans can come up with.

a currency that is connected, even if only in name, with gambling has a self limiting factor built into itself

I am not trolling this thread to scoff at some competition. I am simply making a point that people outside of this community will easily understand.

people not totally involved with lottocoin will instinctively object to its name. lotto is the business of desperate lower class people, the stupid or the addicted. that is the PUBLIC perception. NOT my personal opinion.

that is all I wanted to say

Plus, EAC has the fastest transaction time of any coin.

2000 LOT reward for voting, we are starting to lose ground to the earthcoin hippies.

Be sure to read the task.

See here: http://lottocointalk.org/index.php?topic=81.0
The problem is

eac has more fanboys, because the crew was giving 30-100k per person like 2 weeks ago, if I remember right.
They want eac hit those exchanges, so they dump in people's faces.

I bought a ton of LOT with my own BTC, just to support it. I see it going up. I'm not going to ''dump'' it. I've always believed in long term holding.

So, spread the giveaways, we can beat copycat eac fanboys who copy us on their forum.

oohhhh, you angry  Cheesy
