1821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Last quarter hope? on: November 22, 2018, 01:32:09 PM
I really don't see any changes on the crypto in this last quarter continuous price drop has disappointed everyone in this forum and the market has crashed. I don't think there will be a bull run this year.

Same like me, there's no hope this year and wait is not become our option anymore. For this situation disappointed will not helping but try new way to create income out side crypto market is really needed. Don't wasting time again leave now before getting worst, safe asset now.

Lol funny since a lot of us are expecting the last quarter to bring relief on a bleeding market but the exact opposite happened. Shows you can't rely even on historic numbers. Anyways, if you want to leave then by all means do 😝 i'm still with crypto.
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So, Crypto Market ALL RED Again!! on: November 21, 2018, 04:12:39 PM
now the market is experiencing a drastic decline, but we have to use this to buy coins at low prices, indeed the market is currently experiencing difficulties to recover and prices are very difficult to rise but I'm sure this is only temporary, indeed almost all red coins in the market
Maybe it will be best if people stop focusing on buying the dips and find other ways they can rely much better on, instead of buying cheap price and putting their hopes on ‘price will rise again’ due to the past experience, what if it becomes different this time around? Anything can happen in Bitcoin, just like we never expected it to pump that much to $19000+ last year. So stop relying on that.

Good point. Though having a volatile market doesn't only mean it'll go down all the time. It's bound to rebound, though for how long is the issue with most people since they're not prepared to wait it out. This bear market just showed us that it can go on for an extended amount of time so if you're investing, make sure you have a fall back or an alternative.
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy back every thing on: November 21, 2018, 04:08:40 PM
Now really attractive prices for all cryptocurrency due to the general decline in the market. If this is the bottom, then now is a good time to buy cryptocurrencies and wait for their growth, which is sure to be, as expected, in 2019. But if prices fall even lower, then you can lose money.
I still do to buy as much as possible, the market can already be seen down very deeply and I say your purchase must be right and not in vain because the influence of you choosing a number of altcoins will determine the increase because a higher increase will bring you profit

A lot of people are saying that they're sure about a bull run when 2019 enters though don't forget that a lot also expected the same thing for the last quarter of this year. Don't get your hopes up too much because this volatility can screw you big time if you have too much expectations.
1824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will it fall? on: November 21, 2018, 01:59:37 PM
This collapse we're seeing now was obvious from a few weeks prior to this market devastation. It's just one of the things that we all keep getting wrong in crypto and that is escape the greediness that prevents most of us to get out on time.

Is there even a perfect time to get out? Or would anyone be able to know when that is? People of course won't think about letting go of their coins when the price is pretty steady since historically, they to go by this time would be up. I don't think anybody at all expected this kind of movement.
1825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with ETH? My theory. on: November 21, 2018, 01:56:41 PM

Why would they sell at loss? Those guys should have been the most experienced traders of all time as they have been doing it even before crypto. I think they were the poeple pumping last year and dump gradually while they also shill for people to hold and keep on buying at every dip of coins.

Yeah i don't think it's a good idea selling at a loss and losing big amounts of money for the sake of ripple overtaking ethereum. I mean, yeah it did take the second spot in cmc but that probably won't last very long. I don't think people behind xrp would come up with such short term strategy.
1826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It's time to sell on: November 21, 2018, 01:35:13 PM
Actually it would be okay to sell now and try to buy at the deeper levels. However, considering the trading volume for the past few days, market could find the bottom

I think selling now seems like it's too late. just look at more than 24 hours the price can't be lower than this. so this possibility is the lowest price. so instead of selling it's better to wait

Typical buy high sell low mindset of panicky holders. You hold a coin for a long time while it's at a decent level and then sell when the price drops lol. I don't think the market would be in this deep decline if people can remain calm steady. Thanks though for the cheap coins 😁
1827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ICO is not scam on: November 21, 2018, 01:31:28 PM
Yes, absolutely there are many good ICO's which has been existed here which is based on the innovative idea and doing their contribution to making this world more digital. Due to this good ICO's the bounty hunters has alive in the hope of getting a good amount of rewards instead of promoting them.

Well  a lot of icos are legitimate and have good usable projects. It's just that there are also a lot of bogus projects that smear their image generally. One would just have to be really keen in studying whitepages and roadmaps as well as the teams behind a product they're interested in supporting and funding.
1828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Why TRON Foundation TRX is one of the most profitable altcoins to invest on: November 21, 2018, 01:26:29 PM
Big News from TRON!

There will be a TRON meetup held by CryptoDiva in InterContinental Nairobi, 00200 City Hall Way, Nairobi, Kenya on 27, November 7 PM (GMT+3). Welcome all TRONICS to join the meetup. Click the link https://www.meetup.com/TRON-x-Cryptodiva-Meetup-Nairobi-Kenya/events/256563584/ to join the group for more information.

Wow!Fantastic! Are the people in Kenya interested in blockchain industry?

In fact, Kenya is one of the few countries in Africa that has the potential to develop the blockchain industry, especially in the public sphere such as security, communication, helth care and automobile, etc.

That's good news for people who believe in the technology that tron offers. Not necessarily for trx holders since i don't think the price will move significantly. Personally i like tron's  chances in the future along with top alts like eth so any news of interest is good for me.
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins with stady growth? on: November 21, 2018, 01:24:04 PM
I have lost so much this past two weeks and it is very stresfull. Have been looking for a more safe and predictable market movements, because I can not afford to loose all my life savings. I have come across Xaurum and they say you can trade your xaur for gold anywhere. And this gold keeps getting bigger over time. I have it in my portfolio for a month now and this last past days it was the only coin I own which was green, +20% today. What is your stable coin of choice with predictable market movement? Been looking to add more of them.

I'd be a lot more careful if i were you especially with coins with promises like that. As you said it's your life savings that's on the line and it doesn't mean that if it's head and shoulders afloat in a market like this it's a stable coin. A coins' value can go down in a blink so better think a lot of times dude.
1830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies must be careful on: November 21, 2018, 01:20:08 PM
Recently there have been several news about Etherum falling or bitcoin dumping or more still an altcoin dying
The truth is newbies are been deceived to sell cheap or buy expensive

Newbies need to work and trust their research power and not be intimidated by any news

Many newcomers don't know much about cryptocurrencies. When they encounter negative news, they will sell a lot of altcoins in their hands.

Well it gave a lot of is a chance to buy cheap coins though. Newbies will learn through experience that giving in to panic will make them lose a lot of chances. It will also be a lesson that this industry isn't about quick easy money.
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market in depression on: November 21, 2018, 01:17:48 PM
The crypto market is on a rapid downward spiral and almost all coins including so called good coins are down in prices. Is there any chances the market will recover? In my opinion, it takes the end of the year 2018 to recover the market. What are your views?
I think like you. When the market enters 2019, I think the bull market will last for two weeks and the price of the bitcoin will rise again to $ 7k. we will have a great market back. let be optimistic
Right now crypto market is still falling and possible it take longer but since market is suddenly change there are possibility it will rise but nobody know until when. But right now market righr now make you depressed because its continuously falling and many people are have doubt to trust in crypto. Me too I'm also doubting but I'm still hoping for its rising.

People have been saying that all year round dude. That we'll recover mid year, and then we'll recover in the ever reliable last quarter. Well we're nowhere close to getting recovered. It's better to look a little further ahead if you ask me. If we don't end the year strong then i don't see any reason why we'd start 2019 on a positive note.
1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no more hope in cryptocurrency on: November 21, 2018, 01:14:57 PM
It's the end

Not ending now. But hope now hopeless. Our hope is so more. We are thinking a lot from our loving cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrency was a hope and dream. We got a lot of bonus from crypto. But now-a-days market so bad and ethereum so much down which is unwanted.

Well i just got myself a couple of bags of eth just a while ago. If you think it's the end then too bad and for people who sees it for the short term then it would seem like it's the end. Guess i'll just see you next year to see where crypto is by that time 😁
1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will everything change? on: November 21, 2018, 11:55:23 AM
as we know now Ripple has taken the position of Ethereum (ranked 2 in the coinmarketcap), and will this change everything in the future? My point is that Ripple replaces Ethereum whether there will be major changes in the future, such as whether all ICOs will use Ripple as a payment from their ICO to replace payments using Ethereum and all exchanges will use Ripple (XRP) as a payment to buy or sell altcoins on the exchange.

if I think that can happen and what do you think? please give your opinion.
I have doubts that Ripple will be able to replace the Ethereum. Yes, maybe now he took the place of Ethereum in the table, but this does not mean that he will be able to replace it and Ethereum will go by the wayside.

For me i have no doubt that ethereum wi eventually come back and reclaim that w 2 spot. Many icos legit or not, would think twice about getting on a platform that's backed by what they're trying to veer away from. Eth is just moving along with the bear market for me and it will make a comeback.
1834  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Falling Down? Is it The end ? on: November 21, 2018, 11:52:03 AM
Yow guys, just an hour bitcoin price drop nearly $700 is this the end, or is it just taking its time to pump so hard, or will we wait a years like what happened before ?

I am keep on reading similar posts and topics from panicking newbies but bitcoin is still alive though not in the best shape at the moment. Just don't sell your bitcoins in panic. Hold it and get a better profit later. This is my action plan with a bitcoin.
I also see a lot of threads like this. Bitcoin prices fell initially from the collapse of the BCH market and then spread to many crypto
including bitcoin, then selling panic occurred. you don't need to worry. price conditions will definitely improve, I am sure of it..

If you see anyone starting a thread saying that this is the end, or sell because this is the collapse, better to ignore dude. That person probably doesn't know much or don't have that much experience in crypto yet. Or taking advantage of this time to troll newbies into panicking.
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling! Yes or No? on: November 21, 2018, 11:47:13 AM
The reason most people sell many times has nothing to do with just panic, the herd mentality is what make many people sell. Apart from this, we should purpose to buy moe for future like this at the point of our initial purchase. We do not need to jeopadize the value of our investment by selling prematurely!

That herd mentality you're talking about when applied to markets such as this is quite similar to panic selling already. And it's quite obvious that when bitcoin suddenly dropped, a lot of people became part of that herd that sold because of panic. Can't blame them though since btc has been stagnant around 6.5k that anxiety kicked in when it plummeted.
1836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your Goals in regards to cryptocurrency? on: November 21, 2018, 11:01:13 AM
After the fall of the market this time, I just realized that if my goal in cryptocurrency was basically to get good and decent profits, there was nothing I could do to succeed and become rich in cryptocurrency. I have tried many things I can do in cryptocurrency, but after a severe market crash this year I feel like there is no more purpose that I can achieve in the future.

Woah hold up there dude. If you're really in for the long haul, then don't lose hope. Unless you really need to get out and sell your coins, there's still chance of a good recovery though it may come at a much later time. A lot of us are at a loss at the moment but the market can't move southwards all the time.
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: November 21, 2018, 10:58:31 AM

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.

Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?

If you ask me, you have joined at the right time since every alt coin today is cheap and they're all easy to buy now with lots of exchanges compared to before when we didn't have much exchanges. If you ask me, you timed yourself in the industry well. Now go out there and get some alt coins moving!

Compared to a few years ago, they're definitely more expensive but due to the corrections this year in the entire market, this is a good chance to stock up. Just don't expect easy rolling though. Make sure you are well aware of what you're getting yourself into.
1838  Economy / Speculation / Re: What we can do now other than saying HODL? on: November 20, 2018, 04:42:19 PM
Do buy bitcoin in addition to hold. Bitcoin price drops meaning more profits again to gain once it pumps. Don't listen to FUDsters that do panic selling and promoting dump just because the price drops. Wait a several weeks or months and bitcoin will return skyrocketing.

Yes, i also believe that. But not 100%, since i believe this time it may take few months and not weeks.
The short term is irrelevant if you truly believe it will go up. Fuck us bonds take like 10 years to mature and people eat those up.

Good comparison dude lol. But seriously, i think some people have gotten used to looking at a few months when they say hodl. If you treat it as an investment, then you'll know that bitcoin hasn't reached it's full potential yet so this drop is irrelevant a few years from now. And i don't think there's much of a choice anyways unless  you want to exit crying.
1839  Economy / Economics / Re: LIFE GOES ON. on: November 20, 2018, 04:16:18 PM
Looking at the present state of the market, it could be very disheartening. But one thing is certain is that blockchain technology has come to change our society. And Crytocurrency which runs on the blockchain will continue to wax stronger and stronger, stay above fear. Life surely goes on with or without the enemies of crypto.
Even if it hurts to see the downfall of the price in the market most especially to ethereum, we need to continue our doings here in crypto space. Just put it in our mind that everything will goes back to normal and possibly even better than before.

Well i think it's better to look at the bigger picture instead of focusing on what's happening currently. Prettt sure that this technology would be significant in the future and whatever is happening now would eventually pass. I don't expect any quick recoveries but i'm counting on it's uses. Then the real value of bitcoin and blockchain would be seen.
1840  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: November 20, 2018, 04:10:25 PM
Well most of us here are already aware of the hacking activities of binance and bancor. They are taking practical measures to track down the culprits but the question on my mind is why could coincidentally both exchanges be hacked? Now it appears that the exchanges are not moving at a faster and innovative ways to upgrading their systems and allow these hackers time to study their systems well, identify the loop holes and cause the problem. In my opinion, exchanges should always move in an unpredictable way so as to always confuse these scammers .The scammers are scaring new investors away and this must stop.Exchanges must be up and doing so that we can attract new investors into cryptocurrency else our efforts are going in vain to attracting new investors.
There are a lot of hackers here in crypto world, that is why you need to be smart for you not to get hacked by them. A lot of people who have used cryptocurrency had been experienced to be hacked many times and it is horrible. So exchanges should be more secure and be more aware by hackers.

It's given that with the amount of money coming in to exchanges, they're prone to attempts from hackers. I think most of these exchanges do have a decent security protocol and it just so happens that there will be better hackers every now and then. It can't be helped since anything online can be compromised.
