1861  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Hashie.co -- Domain Name! on: September 24, 2015, 12:03:01 PM
TF has been banned
if its true that hashie and TF are the same person... well then hashie has been banned also Wink
Unless he was using hashie for ban evasion, which I doubt he was, I don't think that happened. IP bans don't tend to happen and even so, I expect that someone with the competence of TF can easily get around such measures.  Of course, I'm probably talking out of my arse and we will not know properly until an admin confirms.
1862  Economy / Digital goods / Re: selling bitcoin domain on: September 24, 2015, 11:49:23 AM
If you're selling a domain, almost all domain registrars offer free transfer across their services.

To sell the domain, you can either post here in the Digital Goods section or you can Auction it off in the Auction section. Once you have a buyer or winner, you can either decide which of you wants to transfer the domain/funds first, or you can use an escrow.

Post the domain and things such as a price you would like, the expiration date of the domain and such to gauge interest and then you can start selling.
1863  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Hashie.co -- Domain Name! on: September 24, 2015, 11:31:14 AM
Probably but I think he might be banned.
I thought that scammers and such didn't get banned, just a negative rating?
1864  Other / Meta / Re: Something about me getting banned on: September 22, 2015, 06:34:45 PM
In order for a moderator to remove your post however, you will need a good and valid reason. Moderators don't remove posts without a good reason.
1865  Other / Meta / Re: Quick Question about Trust Feedback and Ratings on: September 22, 2015, 11:42:23 AM
You're wrong, stop confusing people.
Apologies, removed my post.
1866  Economy / Reputation / Re: ABitNut Abusing trust system. on: September 22, 2015, 11:41:30 AM
Since the trust does not influence your overall score, I wouldn't consider it to be trust abuse.
If ABitNut doesn't trust you, he will put down some negative feedback for you. It is irrelevant whether you feel that this is justified or not.
1867  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] Bitcoin-related Scam Websites on: September 21, 2015, 12:24:47 PM
I think you should add your name to the scam list. Anybody that uses multiple sockpuppet accounts to escrow for herself* is a scammer!!!!

* we know you are a female!  Shocked
Tomatocage isn't a website, nice try though.

1870  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB $20 Paypal for BTC on: September 19, 2015, 06:55:49 PM
I can do this usually I don't do small trades like this buys its for charity let me know.
Unfortunately this trade wasn't suitable for me.

I would like this trade as fast as possible as the event is fairly short. Please get in touch if you can do this.
1871  Economy / Currency exchange / WTB $20 Paypal for BTC on: September 19, 2015, 06:08:27 PM
Hi,
I would like to change $20 to Paypal to donate to a charity event currently going on.
I can pay using current http://www.preev.com prices.

I will only trade with trusted members, would appreciate if you had previous vouches.
Thanks,

1872  Other / Meta / Re: Should people who promote ponzis in their signature be given a negative trust? on: September 18, 2015, 11:34:39 PM
A better question is: should BitcoinTalk be investigated for allowing ponzi schemes and rip-off artists to solicit their scams.  I cannot count the number of times I've been ripped off by scams I found here while at the same time I get censored or moderated when complaining or commenting about my plight.  I find myself constantly having to censor what I am saying just so I don't attract the attention of a moderator who has an invested interest in the scams that take place here.  Now watch this get deleted!
Moderators very rarely remove posts as long as they are not spam or referral. You were probably posting in a self-moderated thread, where any posts can be deleted by the OP of the thread.
1873  Economy / Services / Re: build my website on: September 18, 2015, 10:48:18 AM
Please post more information, if possible even the website that you made. An estimate price would probably also be appreciated.

It's very difficult for a developer to commit to a project when the commissioner doesn't specify what they would like completely.
1874  Economy / Reputation / Re: About Vod on: September 18, 2015, 10:45:40 AM
I do believe that you jumped the gun a bit with the whole dox thing Vod. Do you or Shadow_Runner have any solid proof that that name/address belongs to Quickseller?
I could say that I Dox'd QuickSeller and post the details of any random person. If you would believe that with no further proof, you would be doing a large wrong-doing.
1875  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitcoins.co - Bitcoin Domain Name? on: September 18, 2015, 10:34:26 AM
It's currently pointing to a holding page which receives approx 30/40+ type-ins per day. Once a site is up and running with some unique content i would expect traffic levels to pick up nicely.
Do you have any proof of you owning this domain or the traffic it receives? Just posting a link to this thread on the site and providing some Google Analytics screenshots should be sufficient I expect.

Do you have any ideas how much you are looking for? Posting an estimate price would likely help the sale, providing it is fair.
1876  Other / Meta / Re: Reputation board? on: September 18, 2015, 10:29:43 AM
It can be useful for discussions such as the recent drama around Quickseller and Vod which would be spammy to take place over the trust system. However, a lot of these discussions tend to happen in the Meta board of the forum.

In my opinion, the board should either be archived and scrapped or relevant discussions should be moderated and moved there by staff.
1877  Other / Off-topic / Re: Skype : Can't view conversations beyond 1 month. Any way to get them? on: September 18, 2015, 10:26:14 AM
If you have not previously set it to save conversations for longer than a month, then it won't have. Always save important conversations in logs for later retrieval.

I wouldn't suggest Skype for any sort of business deals, though that is just me. The program is extremely insecure and can cause you problems should you not protect yourself adequately.
1878  Other / Meta / Re: Database Error on: September 18, 2015, 10:23:46 AM
I expect since this is a big place to talk about the new BitcoinXT patch, and the entire Quickseller drama, the forum has been getting a lot more traffic and activity as of late. This is probably causing the forum to be unintentionally DoSd as the server cannot take the amount of information flowing through it.

I suggest that BitcoinTalk is moved onto a better server, since these problems appear to be happening consistently.
1879  Other / Meta / Re: Should people who promote ponzis in their signature be given a negative trust? on: September 18, 2015, 10:20:53 AM
What is the definition of a ponzi in this case?
Do cloudmining sites count? What about some shady gambling sites? Or are we just talking about the obvious 'Double your coins in a day' ponzis?
1880  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTS : + TRUST POINTS. 0.01 btc on: September 18, 2015, 10:12:47 AM
Either you buy a trusted account it must be for scamming, i don't see any other point in buying hero or legendary accounts.
While I do not say that buying or selling trusted accounts is a good thing to do. There are several other reasons to buy a legendary account, such as higher rates from Signature Campaigns and such.
I do see where you are coming from when saying that buying a trusted account is the same as buying actual trust, neither is really allowed and accepted by the BitcoinTalk community. If a DT account is found to be sold, members will leave Negatives or Neutrals to make others aware of this. Straight up saying you are selling trust would just get yourself into more trouble than it would be worth, as it is impossible to be private. it is especially more trouble than it's worth considering that your account is not on DT, and has no affect on anyone's overall trust rating.

Also, do I get the idea that this was meant to be a honeypot of sorts? It seems that way from the trust that you have given people at least.
