There are rumors that the Lakers and Nets are working to finalize a deal. Supposedly it will be KD and Kyrie for AD and Westbrook plus a few picks and some $$$. This seems like an insane rumor but there are reports that they are close to a deal. KD and LeBron together would be something else. If that happens I’ll definitely be seeing a few Lakers games live next year. It would be the greatest pairing since Shaq and Kobe.
If Durant, LeBron, and Irving were on the same team, it would be the most dominant trio of the last decade. Although I doubt the Lakers will be able to pull off such a crazy deal. It seems more realistic to me that Durant might be traded for Booker and other Suns players. In any case, we will definitely see some big deals this offseason, given that many interesting rumors are popping up right now. I think if there is a suitor for Kyrie (and reports it is only one, the Lakers, because of Kyrie's history), then it will only be Lebron and Kyrie again and I don't think they are going to include AD in this trade, perhaps it it will be like Westbrook for Kyrie exchange. And for Durant, Phoenix is the name that keeps popping up in the media that most likely Durant will move. As for who is the player, maybe Booker or Ayton. Lots of rumors about the trade and we really can't conclude if what's the package that surrounds those trades, the names attached is no longer on their primes and does have either injury or an attitude concerns, Personally, if AD+WB to KD+Kyrie Lakers will have a better take. I also don't think that Clippers should trade John Wall. He hasn't been playing in any game since April 24, 2021. This is a huge interval for a basketball player and it is hard to rely on that player again for some time at least. They can at least monitor his performance at Rockets for some time and then decide what to do. He was of course a very talented player but we don't know how he will return. I also agree with @Yaunfitda that Clippers should already be comfortable with George and Leonard for now.
Wall does not play because he doesn't like his team, he just wants to be traded and I don't think because he didn't play that will lessen his value. IMO, Wall still belongs to the league of superstar in the NBA, and he can be a big help for the Clippers campaign to win a championship. Not sure about that, I mean additional offensive star to be paired with Kawhai and Paul George, it's not a question in terms of Wall's capabilities, he's one of prominent star and he can provide good numbers, but if the trade will happen, it's another chemistry to work out between these three superstars, something that the person itself needs to adjust and how the coach will handle them in terms of rotating them.
