1881  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: May 25, 2014, 04:31:52 PM
Next term we will be offering the highest rates once again by a long shot (Not just over cutting a bit). We will also be considering doing weekly payouts Smiley.

Thanks for your continued support guys.

weekly payout sound even more interesting than higher rate, i'm looking forward to it

Weekly payout would be great, however I think Stunna has to automate (is that a verb?) the payout process. I think it's a hell of a job to payout all the PrimeDice Advertisers once a month. I think it's way too much work to do that each week.
Its not much work to pay people weekly, I've seen Updown.bt doing it and he sends the payment exactly at the time he gives to the people. To compete with updown stunna will have to make the payments weekly, he doesn't have a choice.

It's not when you've only got a few users to pay out. It'll get more difficult and tedious when you've got 50+ week after week. Isn't UpDown moving to monthly after the first four weeks anyway? Seems he was only doing this to quickly build up some trust.
Yeah he did it for gaining some trust, but i think if stunna makes his campaign weekly, updown.bt will also have to continue the weekly payouts else he'll perish.

I think there will be constant change in this market.... stunna maybe going weekly because of the increasing BTC price. At its current rate of change it might be a big cost if you set a price every month and what its go up 25% where the weekly payment will be less affected than monthly.

I don't think that makes much of a difference, the same % of profit is spent on advertising, since PD earns in BTC.

May I ask, where is the lease cancellation button for both providers and customers? I can't find them.

ed, how is the progress, can i get my coins soon?
I offer to buy your account for 4 BTC if you're interested.

And reduce a massive payout to a sum that is, relatively speaking, peanuts? Seems a bit suspicious to me.

1Dice has 90-150BTC stuck, and I'd doubt he would accept your offer. It's less than what he put into ed.

Yes, automate is a verb. That would be good, but someone would have to code it. I'd say it's simpler if he/she employs more people to check.
1885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / The Fury or 2 Gridseeds? on: May 25, 2014, 03:10:40 PM
So, I'm planning to expand my scrypt rig. And I mean scrypt, please don't tell me to build a x11 farm or something like that.
So, I have the funds, should I preorder The Fury, which runs at 1MH/s consuming 35W, or buy 2 Gridseed 5-chips, VMOD3 them, and have them run at 530kh/s each at 35W?
The Fury is available in June, while the gridseeds are in stock right now.
Any thoughts?

I would like a feature from renters side - I enter BTC amount I'm willing to spend and system rents rig say, for 3hours and 21 minutes.

Also, could someone please explain me how Lease Rig proxy works? I don't see a reason why I should rent those rigs, as most pools use stratum+tcp://, solo is http:// but LRP rigs allow only stratum protocol...

LRP is for lazy providers that don't bother to set up the API, or for providers that combine more than one rig into one.

Some of us have ISP's that are incompatible with Direct Connect as well.

Umm... Open the ports on your router. That's all I'm gonna say.
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: May 25, 2014, 01:36:44 PM
The stats take up to an hour to update.

Pool might be for some and others not for some and others.

I took it as not pleased with it.

This is the main reason I left. hourly stats. weekly payouts for low miners. It's basically for the big boys.

Check out coinshift, they payout daily for .001 stats. so if you make that in 2 days the third u get paid. doesn't sit for a week to two weeks if mining and you just rolled over sunday with .0009.

Uh... Sorry, but your grammar is horrible, and I dunno what you're saying. Also, payouts are weekly, not biweekly.

Last Hour Hashrate

The stats take up to an hour to update.

Wow this is awesome news regarding the higher rates. And stunna even said it would be by a long shot!  Well let's see who's around in a month to compete with Pd as it obviously won't be ritz. Someone suggested collusion but I wouldn't see that happening...there would always be a newer player who would come in and pay more thereby forcing the others to raise. It's not like a situation where one or two players have "control" over sig campaigns. Anyone can start one on their own at any time.

Too bad rates aren't going up now but at least I feel good about sticking with stunna at these lower rates with the payoff coming next month.

You're right, somebody could come along and one up the others, but at least the rates would be cheaper for the campaign owners, and the whole incrementing process would start again until others dropped out.

If campaign owners reduced max payout to 0.0005, would a new player come along and give 0.0016? Probably not...

Yeah, I still wish rates increased at least a little for this month... Meh, PrimeDice's signature is still the best-looking, so that's OK...

1892  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: any. thoughts on bit solo mining pool on: May 25, 2014, 11:59:09 AM
is it just me - or is this concept sort of dumb  Huh

If you want to solo-mine = run a copy of bitcoind with SETGENERATE=true and have your hashrate mine away.

Newbies have no idea how to use setgenerate=true.

"SETGENERATE=true" is for CPU mining with the Bitcoin client.  It no longer does anything as the client no longer CPU mines.

Also, they have to point their asics at the bitcoind. So they would have to use cgminer or bfgminer anyway.

if you want to solo-mine = screw you pool of any kind

If you want to solo-mine = run a copy of bitcoind with SETGENERATE=true and have your hashrate mine away.  You keep the coins, YOU WIN!

Using ANYONE or ANY service =/= solo mining.  You're begging to have your time wasted and your coins stolen, period.

Newbies have no idea how to use setgenerate=true.

Hope its real ;-)

Greetings Glen

There is a known issue i cgminer / sgminer and other forks where it will report finding a block when actually block has not been found by you.
Search the forum and you'll see this happening with many people. It is a known issue, nothing to do with pool scam.

You can verify if you've found a block by checking if your 'Best Share' is equal or greater than current difficulty, which is not the case in your screenshot.

Correct. Update to the latest CGMiner. Also, it's blockchain.info, not bitcoinchain.info.

Have been mining on and off on Clevermining for the past 3 months.  I have an unexchanged balance of 0.01723659 and a ready for payout of 0.00295685 is there something wrong with the exchange today/yesterday?  Other than that the VARDIFF is brilliant and my rejects have dropped off significantly.

You will be paid latest today. There might be some problems with the exchange, but the ready to payout will be paid latest this night.
