1901  Economy / Gambling / Re: This guy gave a whole prototype of "how live roulette scam us" on: April 23, 2023, 08:53:26 PM
Of course that's possible but i wonder what's the reason for risking it as it would need one pair of loose lips to "sink ships". Meaning that this would be hard to keep hidden. People talk when they are drunk and this is a multimillion or if not billion dollar industry that's usually heavily audited. Press would be interested and definitely would pay those underpaid workers more then there salary to give up any dirt on this system.

That comment doesn't really convince me any more then the fact we all know that there's a possibility they cheat. In fact that level of details just sounds like some engineer wanted attention and wanted to show off how he would do it.
1902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Back in 2021 Form ;) on: April 22, 2023, 05:08:46 PM
I don't know if you guys noticed but ETH is back in its 2021 trend where it belongs.  Wink  Now holding on to it will depend on how it consolidates above the red bar.  Obviously if the buyers gobble up everything the market throws at them then hopefully we'll see another leg up to 2.5k soon and 3.5k after that.  Leeezz gooo!
-cut-

Yeah true, but i don't see how you do your TA. If this would be a counted as a elliot wave leg wouldn't this be a second leg and according to elliot wave theory 4th and 5th are retracing before we go up? Or do you think it would retrace from 3.5K? Where to? Back to 2500 maybe? Anyway, good to be on the solid ground soon. I feel easy to long from there.
1903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing but a mathematical fraud. on: April 21, 2023, 09:18:08 PM
I was able to find out that those who invested 50$ to 100$ where able to make 8,000$ and they cashed out, very expected from a human, that's already a big gain, but some wallet addresses failed to take profit and now they are sitting on millions, who does that? With a meme coin.
-cut-
Where did you get the data? Did you pick it from the chain or the charts? You do realize that coingecko and coinmarketcap records the price only after they get listed there. There are coins that have traded days or weeks before or if they are even listed in.

Here's the link to one reddit thread and a screenshot, i would like you see your research as well

Would i invest this now? Hell no. Would i have invest this if i've seen it earlier? Well i literally invested to Pepe Solana before this so maybe if i would monitor eth token launches. But i wouldn't have holded to million.
1904  Economy / Gambling / Re: PVP Games Lounge launching soon on: April 21, 2023, 08:57:24 PM
I have a bad feeling for the Op if he isn't actually working on the game he wants to develop.
Let's see from the few times he's been online in the forums he hasn't said anything in his own thread or maybe he just wants to intrigue these people about what he's up to and never does anything
I wouldn't be surprised that OP would see no future in this. The growth rate of AI products pretty much guarantees that these p2p games that require any amount of skill, will be flooded with AI bots. They are tireless, they have enough incentive, and it wouldn't take long until there were only bots playing. I am pretty sure that online texas hold'em games are already dealing with AI bot problem.
1905  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: April 21, 2023, 08:12:52 PM
As suggested by fellow community member, I am posting my scam accusation thread here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5416789.0
I have gambled using crypto I earned doing small tasks, selling bounty tokens, telegram giveaways, etc and now stake says that gambling with funds earned from such ways is not legal and they want some proof I don't understand.
They don't reply to my emails for 6 months  Cry
They said only money used from mining is legal and now they don't even reply. I am level 3 verified and overall in loss and still they are harassing me
-cut-
Answer to what? Your post didn't have a question in it. And from the answer of the staff and your reply to it it looks like you have left a huge portion out. Like what info have you provided, what's been asked? This sounds like misunderstanding to me because no one has ever in the history of crypto gambling demanded that anyone need to mine the coins they play with. It's most likely your proof of origin that's shady here. If they can't get a document suitable enough for review, they are prevented by AML law to let you play.

And if you indeed are lvl3 you have played lot of money. So is it a surprise that they want to have proof of the origin? So maybe provide them the tx trail of your funds. With screenshots from bounty sheets explaining who is your nick and document how did you convert the money. That might be hard but they are only following the law.

From those options it would be stake. I don't want to move my money to different casinos if there's nothing overly special about them. And dice game doesn't really differ in different sites. It might have some different automation tactics but once you realize that tactics doesn't help in luck games, then it's all about convenience. I don't want to do extra effort if something radical hasn't changed in the game. But i guess that would be different game all together then dice.
1907  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: April 20, 2023, 08:30:20 PM
What do you refer to when you say there have been some recognizable bad effects of Artificial Intelligence? We all know that it's still at its early stage of development and we are yet to see a lot of things happening around the technology, the adoption level isn't that high at the moment nor there are any big tech firms utilizing it mainly for any of their projects.

I don't know why you don't like the idea of artificial intelligence when it's clearly one of the best innovations of this era which will definitely erupt in the near future and we will see it covering every single sector for good.
I don't know about the person you answered to, but am surprised if you don't see the dangers. And i am not talking about skynet scenarios.

But the main worry is disinformation. When you can fabricate stories with pictures and videos as a proof that you can't distinguish from a real thing. And you can manufacture them 10000+ times faster then debunking fake news, people start to lose trust on the evidence and science as they have already started to lose it. That distrust to scientific research only benefits one kind of leadership model and that's total dictatorship.

You can probably use AI to predict live matches to gamble though. So that's fun.

I don't know, man. I'm here for the tech and for the gains, but we have a looong way to go before shit like this stops happening and undermining the whole space altogether.
I had to google them as i never heard from them and never want hear from them again. But think of the upside: Altcoin season is definitely on when meme tokens like this can raise over $34 million and tokens like $pepe are making shiba-like pumps. Soon it will spread to other alts as well. Sadly these scams and memes won't ever leave us. They will only grow stronger and most likely will beat useful coins while doing that.
1909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICP - Good investment? on: April 20, 2023, 03:33:28 PM
-cut-
ICP has a good use case.
-cut-
What's that? Because to me it seems that it claims to have all the use cases. It's all over the place without a focus, and that makes me think that devs themselves didn't even know what they want to build. And i really don't think that general all-purpose blockchain is a good idea. I rather see a focus in a problem it solves.

As an investment, i can't say if it's a profitable or not. I guess that depends on the fact that if i am wrong or not. As a disclaimer: i was wrong about eth when it was still $12
1910  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 20, 2023, 02:27:19 PM
Question to users in this thread: If we do future art contests what kind of changes would you like to see? The last few ones have been super close when winners are decided so I'm thinking that maybe if we lower the 1st/2nd prize a bit and add a 3rd/4th place prize too. I'll also run something by Roobet to see if free spins or free bets can be handed out to anyone who participates just a small thank you for joining. Happy to hear everyone's thoughts on this though!
Participation prize would be cool indeed if that's something that can be arranged and not abused. I feel like the quality of entries on these forum art competitions have increased a lot. Every participant seem to be so incredibly talented that i am too intimidated to join into anything even though i can do graphic design.

And while i love to see actual physically drawn and painted art, AI art compos should be fun as well. Maybe with mandatory prompt reveal after compo is over as well.
1911  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is politics supposed to be for the old ones? on: April 20, 2023, 02:11:36 PM
Being young or getting involved in politics won't change the fact that we still have dirty corrupt politicians who still find it hard to quit the game even when they know that they're not competent enough to secure a position.
Your reasoning doesn't quite make sense. It's like saying that people shouldn't get a fireman jobs because there will be always people who set fires, or policemen because there will be always crimes.
And in comparison, people who are capable and interested on changing things but yet choose not to get involved pretty much guarantees that nothing changes.

Young people do cast their vote but haven't you asked why is it that the result doesn't always comes out in favor of what the people voted? Is something you have to be worried about, is as if the vote of the people do not count, the old ones just want to be there (in power) not for the people but for the money.
Just because person you voted for doesn't win doesn't mean democracy doesn't work. It just means that you are not part of majority who won. If your candidate would win even if only few people had voted, that woudn't be democracy.
(depending what sort of voting system are we talking about)
1912  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is losing? Finland joins NATO. on: April 19, 2023, 07:33:58 PM
Sounds like i hit some weird nerve as what you are telling us is batshit insane. Like you would avoid googling at all costs when you can make up stories from a fantasyland?

I give you a hint: you were wrong on everything, to the point i got worried for your mental health. Btw you might benefit from free mental healthcare as well as you sadly sound very much paranoid and detached from reality.

So maybe you should listen more your relatives as i am assuming they have offered already as they care for you. So if you can afford the help, accept it. And if not, maybe go and do fundme or something. Remember to show your posts to your doctor and ask if it was me who is out of their mind.
1913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is the chance of $PEPE to become the next $SHIB? on: April 19, 2023, 07:04:32 PM
This came out of nowhere and obviously got some heavy backers instantly. I am being bombarded with pepe ads from my friends now. And  i accidentally stumble on this tweet:

If i would have got in earlier i would probably shill it too. but it's already 120 Million marketcap. I give it maybe max 3x as it got in poloniex instantly. But it would need way more effort on their roadmap this to get any further hype.
1914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HK envisions a positive outlook for cryptos, especially altcoins ? on: April 18, 2023, 10:43:34 PM

As the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023 is ongoing, there are a lot of exciting news coming out such as the central government has lifted bans on cryptos and banks in HK start to support Web3's development (source: https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1646040621256245250). CZ, Binance's CEO also attended the panel meeting(online) and shared his views on numerous topics (https://www.binance.com/en/live/video?roomId=2129188). With the support from both government and industry sectors, Web3 will be booming rapidly in Hong Kong and we can foresee that a lot of crypto investment will be flooding into HK very soon. Will this create a more bullish environment for altcoins ? Please share your opinions. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please let me know should you have any inquiries.
I am very doubtful that china is actually allowing cryptos to bloom. They might be a threat to dollar which suits them, but also to Yuan. Also their cutting edge facial recognition tech and surveillance with public shaming via social credits tells volumes about their stance.

Not in a million years they would allow private or pseudonymous transactions with a currency they can't control. Most likely they use cryptos as a short time bait to lure people using their own platform that allows smart contracts but will be controlled by the CCP.

They have already made absolute dystopia where you can be rebellious with code words. And i can't see even revolution changing that because once they got the tech, why should they put it back in the box?

What is the secret to ARB's success ? Or simply, why its price keeps steadily climbing ? Please let me know. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please feel free to contact me should you have any inquiry.
Have you tried using it? I honestly believe that it will change the whole idea how eth scaling should be done. I am uncertain why it would need a token but i guess dao voting is important in such projects. However i don't believe that holders can vote for best decisions as they are not coders. They will be most likely voting incentives to themselves.
1916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC calls Algorand a security - thoughts? on: April 18, 2023, 09:46:45 PM
Algorand is one of the altcoins I hold in my portfolio and recently starting buying more while prices are low.

I Will not panic with the news that came out yesterday with the SEC calling Algorand a security but I will stop buying for a few days or so to see how the market reacts.

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this claim from the SEC?
Well this isn't just about Algorand, they just got in the middle of Bittrex lawsuit. Algorand was one of the 6 coins, others being: OMG, DASH,TKN,Naga And IHT, and looks like more is coming to that list.

I would like to know the true reason for SEC's decision for this as all i can think of is if the devs of these coins had some illegal marketing tactic that focuses on price growth.
Now all they accomplished was to make Bittrex leave United States. They didn't really leave any alternatives.

You jokers are so funny. So is Finland. Lol. All they are doing is trying to keep the Finns inside.
-cut-
If you only knew how stupid and childish that sounds and how ridiculous your sources are. In Finland we have a free healthcare, free education, free speech, clean water, free government pension and ton of other things you can just google. And Finland is one of the least corrupt countries in the world. Why would Finnish people want to leave? So maybe you don't know anything.

1918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are a joke. on: April 18, 2023, 07:38:08 PM
So I have to pay $9 ETH to transfer 70 USDT I just received, out of my wallet? And worse, transferring any amount of ETH will set you back $3 in gas fees.

I've just converted most of my ETH to BTC, and have $0.5 left in metamask. It claims to have an "advanced gas control" when you hit Send, but it's not showing me that.

Is there a way for me to lower the gas fees from metamask, or otherwise import the wallet into some other software?

There's a small edit button that people often miss when you send eth.

( Pic source is a screenshot crop from some youtube instructions so don't let the price fool you. )

After that comes a window with all kinds of settings. You can set your gas limit manually or choose from advanced options or just click from 3 send choices: Low, Medium And High priority. If you don't know what you are talking about it might be better to choose from those 3 options.

I admit that edit button is too tiny and i didn't click that before either.

1919  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Most important place on earth. Where? on: April 17, 2023, 07:47:43 PM
Hi guys!
Please don't get it twisted, this is a thread for the sake of knowledge and discussion. I am someone with an unquenchable interest in reading, listening or watching news on regular basis, and for me it's a hobby. Most times I feel emptied should a day pass by without inclining myself to a news broadcast. Am sure there are some persons here that are like that too.

Apart from news I also interest myself with documentaries. Just the other day I was watching a particular documentary on Aljazeera about nature and  one correspondent made a statement claiming that "the most important place on earth is the  Amazon", and this got me marveling how so. What could be her reasons for this claim.

In such wise, for the sake of knowledge and discussion as I earlier expressed above. In your own opinion where on earth do you think is the most important place on earth and why such a place?
Are we now taking every correspondent word literally as an absolute truth? There are several document makers with different agendas. But i agree it's important.

He/she could have meant that they contain ton of unexplored plants, insects and wildlife that could expedite medical break troughs. Or maybe that it's on the brink of doom because people are cutting it down. Also you didn't specify that to whom its most important. Humans in general or for the life in this planet, that it is sustaining as lungs of earth?
1920  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lottery system or Scratches finally launched in blockchain! Shocking!! on: April 17, 2023, 07:30:31 PM
I started to read your gitbook to see how this would be innovative or shocking compared to other blockchain games. And as an idea it's not original, people have been trying to keep similar sites alive more or less successfully.

But an instant red flag right away is revenue forecast. If you are building something revolutionary (which you are not) you don't start my transparent marketing tapping on human greed. If you need to sell it by promising moon from the sky by comparing your casino to global game market. That just shows that you don't trust your own product. You would talk about your tech and game theory if you had something to talk about. yours reminded me cash grab ICOs of 2017 that failed or got sued.

You know i can make a token that could be used in dental industry and compare the whole dental industry revenue to that. It doesn't mean it would get any users or had value in the future.
