1921  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Anacs submission form querey? on: December 10, 2015, 04:50:18 AM
The new ANACS form now has a selection for "Physical Cryptocurrency" - the max value you can claim it as per coin is $100. You are taking a risk when claiming them at a lower value, but you have no choice when using ANACS. ANACS uses very safe return shipping so I do not worry about it. Just claim each coins value @ $100 and call it a day. Also you no longer have to pay for the printing of first bits on slabs!

1922  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Casascius 2011 Series 2 on: December 10, 2015, 03:19:25 AM
I had two, MS65 and MS6? (4 or 6, memory fails me).

Do you mind telling me how much they went for/how long ago?  Even if you can't say exactly can you ballpark it for me?

I also notice you talking about PGP chains, I take it they wont apply to these because they are pre-2013 when he started doing PGP sigs.

Part of my problem is I have no idea how much to offer/pay.

I have sold several of them over the years. The last couple I sold were MS-65 and went for 2.65 and 2.75. For some reason they always go for less than the Series 1 even though they are much rarer.

Fun fact: I did a search on my feedback for the word Casascius (seeing if there is a link) and it has 69 mentions of Casascius...lol.
1923  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB/WTS] Casascius Holo Error / Collectible Marketplace on: December 09, 2015, 11:43:56 PM
Just wanted to let my esteemed colleagues know that we've got a new public high for a 2013 Casascius 0.5 BTC Series-2 Silver, 15 BTC.

The purchaser also elected to have the PGP chain of custody extended for an additional 1 BTC, which -- to my knowledge -- is the first time such an exchange has occurred. I expect this to be the minimum cost for extending a first-owner custody chain (henceforth known as a one-nub chain) going forward.

The purchaser can reveal their identity if they so wish, and the escrow agent can publicly verify the amount of the transaction if they so wish.

I am the escrow for the deal and verify the amounts.
1924  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Shiny Casascius Coins ~ Rare Grades on: December 09, 2015, 08:43:26 PM
I am interested in the Silver/Gold, but I would be cracking that slab and sending to ANACS. My offer is 3BTC shipped to the USA.
1925  Economy / Services / Re: LuckyBtcCasino sig campaign. Pay Post and Fixed, (CFNP) on: December 09, 2015, 07:00:52 AM
Hi zengryt,

As you said I reapplied in your campaign and I done PM, But still you did not reply with acceptance and I could not find my user name in campaign participants list too. Please reply ASAP.

I asked you to finish your current campaign pay period before you did and you applied straight away. Not to worry. Spread updated. Please keep a high standard because everyone is on a probation type period here for first week/two I will remove the worst of posters for sure.
Thank you. Sure I will give quality of posts from my side.

Thanks you!

Members counting has been complete. I am just double checking addresses and amounts and I will be sending payments within the hour.

Just a heads up.. I am holding more than enough funds to cover payments, but zengryT will be doing all of the payments from a different address.  The funds I am holding will likely never be used unless there is an issue.

Still no luck for me! Looks like we need to update this once again. I bet I will be one of the unlucky ones who do not change until the last possible time.
1927  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius Void Coin on: December 09, 2015, 01:42:51 AM
Your extra documentation is truly unique! I am very impressed with your offering edo.

You using a spam bot Blazed?....

1929  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius Bearer Bars - Protective Airtite Case ? on: December 08, 2015, 08:55:55 PM
Wow..

I will get right on it then. I also can have things lasered into them if we all want to get fancy? I will keep you guys posted on this. I have all the bars mentioned for specs also!

Do you have the machine or would you be getting someone/a company to do this for you?
I'd be interested in a few for F*D and Kialaras.

My buddy owns a large machine shop with tons of high-end CNC machines. I just take the bars to the guys in the shop and tell them what I want done. They also have a crazy fiber laser that can engrave into metal etc..

I will make some prototypes of the Casascius bar first. I know that I can have some thicker Lexan CNC'd out to fit.
1932  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius Bearer Bars - Protective Airtite Case ? on: December 08, 2015, 01:09:50 PM
Did anyone end up finding anything for these other than Michails suggestion (which I think I may end up doing myself)

I could probably have some made with lexan. I tried to find some for my bars with no luck since it is a unique size. Maybe I will have a run of 10 cases made.
1933  Economy / Goods / Re: Ledger Wallet Nano Bitcoin Security Card, Duo Edition (Ledger Wallet Duo) 30$ on: December 08, 2015, 12:43:09 PM
I don't think hardware wallets are safe to accept from people other then the manufacturers directly. The vast majority of people do not have the technical expertise to be able to audit the software and the hardware components of a hardware wallet, forcing them to trust the person they bought it from.

If you buy a hardware wallet from a 3rd party then there is the risk that the device is somehow tampered with so that the seed is either not generated in a random fashion, or that the private keys are otherwise fairly easily discoverable to an attacker.

Sure there is the security tape that is generally included with hardware wallets, however I do not think this would be extremely difficult to break/fake, and would not risk large amounts of BTC based solely on security tape.

Ledger actually addresses this for their products. You are able to reset the cards and safely use them.

>What else was he supposed to do with the money exactly?
You're confused as to what should be done with $2.3 million one has no immediate use for?
You feel that it should be immediately flushed down the toilet? Have you considered *saving* it?

>Theymos owns the forum
No, theymos does not own this forum.
Theymos has never claimed to be the owner of this forum.
Theymos runs this forum, like a CEO runs a company.
The money was not donated to theymos, it was donated to bitcointalk.
When a CEO pockets corporate funds, it's called embezzlement, which is a bad thing.

The forum simply does not need millions of dollars just sitting around. A forum that makes better forum software..how is that not a good use? I like the idea of better forum software and the fact they open sourced it is a bonus.
1935  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Escrows - Trade Safely! on: December 07, 2015, 05:54:24 PM
I am going to either charge a fee for accounts or stop doing them. I get so many requests for them and it takes too much time.

No longer escrowing accounts  Cool
1936  Other / Archival / Re: Where's the money, Lebowski? on: December 07, 2015, 02:58:16 PM
What else was he supposed to do with the money exactly? Theymos owns the forum and those coins and did with it what he saw fit. Bitcointalk is not a democracy... If Theymos wanted to just pocket the coins he could without any repercussion.
1937  Other / Meta / Re: reason why sig-campaigns are not banned? on: December 06, 2015, 07:06:26 AM
Why not get paid for something you worked to achieve? I have spent 2 years here on and off to get to hero almost legendary, and if someone want to pay me for a small advertising spot why not. It doesn't compare to the time I have spent here Wink

Just for the record I had my sig made and uses my referral links Smiley

If done right sig campaigns are great for all involved. The problem are the spammers who run lots of accounts and post useless things. I get paid a flat rate regardless of how much I post...
1938  Other / Meta / Re: reason why sig-campaigns are not banned? on: December 06, 2015, 06:07:35 AM
I believe this forum will lose maybe half of their  members if signature campaign will be banned here.

This is what I am thinking also. This forum would be a lot less active without all the paid to post members here. It is obvious that the forum does mind these guys so long as they keep it somewhat understandable. Seems like only the 3-4 word spammers get banned.
1939  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS- 4 Prismas Best Price Takes It.. on: December 06, 2015, 04:10:36 AM
A bit steering away from the topic for your intent to selling these miners. But i have some AM Tubes that i have quite a bit of problems running off the crap BE controller. I got a UART USB converter but i can't find a version of already compiled windows cgminer/bfgminer that works.

Might i bother you as to where you got your RasPi image to run these?

Best option is Minera on a Rasp Pi. CrazyGuy created a custom image and also probably has the patched Cgminer.
