I dont think you can get alot of litecoins with just 1 videocard. Your best bet is indeed mine the best altcoins, and exhange for bitcoins. Just point it at a multipool. You might not profit, but it's better than nothing. |

3hr update --- Not bad Terk... 1.5% Rej rate and I am equivalent to waffle as of now ... Lets see how it goes... Interestingly I actually physically have 1 less device hashing... So in this case I would say this is so far better than Waffle... But Lets let in run some more, 3 hours is pretty good but 10-24hr is better! Ill be back for some updates from Oceania..

I would worry about btc-e more than bitstamp. Unlike bitstamp, btc-e is in Russia, ran by anonymous guys. They're lacking transparency.
I wouldn't. BTC-E has been around for almost two years now. As an exchange, they are much older than the Bitstamp or Kraken. So far, there hasn't been a single robbery or hack within the exchange. I wouldn't worry much about the transparency of BTC-E, as long as the customers are able to maintain their anonymity and the coins are secure.  how much btc they lost with that hacking I suggest you don't listen to him, he's a scammer that sold his account to a big fat troll. |

Hello I'm new in this bitcoin thing. I'm deepweb user as you know deepweb users using btc, when i search for btc i saw btc has great potential, then i read some documents, there was pool mining for personal computers. I have GTX 650 ti boost, as i read mining pool is best way for earning btc. I have some questions. 1 : How much bitcoin i can earn with this poor gpu ? I can work in pool 8 hour in a day. 2 : Using another operating system can boost performance ? like linux. is this gpu enough for begining level ? You could earn a VERY small amount (like a few satoshi) if you have free electricity - which I'm guessing you do since you can only mine for 8 hours a day (maybe you're doing it at work?) Remember that if you don't have permission to use the electricity it's theft. At least in my opinion. A VERY few amount that is so little you can't even pay the tx fee to get paid.
