1961  Other / Meta / Re: What can we do about a dead account with no owner? on: August 08, 2015, 10:36:10 PM
To get the account back? Contact theymos or BadBear with proof of ownership (signed message from address in precious post, for example) and they can help sort it for you. If you don't have proof, you may as well kiss the account goodbye.
1962  Other / Meta / Re: Automatic Default Trust on: August 08, 2015, 10:31:23 PM
Why should the forum pay people to screen for default trust when the system currently in place works fine?
1963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most expensive thing you have purchased using Bitcoin? on: August 08, 2015, 10:07:36 PM
Two .coms with whois protection from Namecheap. ~$34-35.

so my account can come back to me or not? Sad

PM theymos or BadBear. They can help you.
1965  Other / Meta / Re: Account hacked and he use to spam and spread malware virus on: August 08, 2015, 08:52:42 PM
Why do people keep falling for this? At least you have a way to prove your account is yours.

Would there be no way to implement a filter maybe? Since all the messages are the same.

1967  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] OPEN SPOTS Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: August 08, 2015, 11:41:52 AM
So, when do I get told if I've been accepted or not? Surely it doesn't take two days to look through my post history and determine if it's good enough quality.
1968  Other / Archival / Re: selling a 1,000 amazon Egift card on: August 08, 2015, 02:02:34 AM
Prove that you own the cards/codes or no one will buy from you. We have no reason to trust you.

Also, Digital Goods is probably more fitting.

I'll take that Monaco key off your hands for 0.8€, if it's available that is.
1971  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: August 04, 2015, 12:56:50 PM
EDIT: we'll also try experimenting with minteye.com captcha, but for now I can't even register on it (it timeouts)...
Minteye has shutdown I believe, according to a person in my faucet guide either way. Besides, I have heard reports from faucet owners that Minteye was very easy to bot, so I doubt it would have helped much.
1972  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: August 04, 2015, 12:15:08 PM
Perhaps using a random timer (1-5 seconds), and only displaying the captcha and form once the timer has been completed could help. Granted, it could probably be bypassed by changing the Javascript or HTML DOM but it could possibly put things in their tracks for a short while. I would try to see how the API works and if there is a way around it, but I do not know Russian and all translation services fail to translate it.
1973  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] TF2 shits (crates, weapons) on: August 03, 2015, 06:16:28 PM
You have 23 weapons that I would like. Since backpack.tf has the price of 0.05 scrap as >$0.01, I'll take all of them for $0.23 in Bitcoin. Is that alright with you?
1974  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: August 02, 2015, 10:27:01 PM
How do you do that on a shared hosting plan if you want to use it?
A rough way to do it with PHP would be this:
Code:
$userIP = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
$proxyIP = $_SERVER['HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR'];
$torIP = file('https://www.dan.me.uk/torlist/');

if(in_array($userIP, $torIP) || in_array($proxyIP, $torIP)){
     die('You appear to be accessing the site through TOR. Please go through the clearweb to access this site.');
}
The problem comes with getting the user's IP, as there are a few problems using REMOTE_ADDR (detailed here (May be outdated by now)) and HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR is a HTTP header and can be changed by the user. Obviously the code should be fine-tuned before main use, but it should catch out a few TOR users at least.
1975  Economy / Services / Re: TappaBit Fixed Rate Signature Campaign 40 Places Available FULL on: August 02, 2015, 07:52:03 PM
Could I ask why I didn't qualify for payment? As far as I know, I posted above the minimum 50 constructive posts needed for my payment.
1976  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's the best way to keep your pc secured? on: July 28, 2015, 09:10:08 AM
The best and most secure way to hold large amount of Bitcoin is not be connected to the internet whatsoever apart from sending and receiving Bitcoin. Since this is probably unreasonable, just following the tips previously said is probably the best way to go about it.
Keep Windows/Linus/Whatever OS updated to the newest version, same with whatever Anti-Virus you use. Do manual scans of your system with MBAM or something similar in addition to the realtime scans your anti-virus does. In addition, use a unique password for your Bitcoin Wallet and exchanges.
1977  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Mellow Ads - simple, bitcoin advertising - CPM/CPC campaigns now available on: July 28, 2015, 08:08:43 AM
So now the site doesn't accept free domain hosted site as publishers? Oh man Tongue Quite sad actually, but what is the reason for that? Is there too much free domain hosted websites out there? Does the domain matters? :O Anyways just asking, can you advertise on your own site through the CPM/CPC campaigns?

Guess I'll have to stop and the earnings will stay there forever ^^
Free domains are linked with spam a lot of the time due to ease of creation and lack of costs. Since MellowAds wants to stop spam, the first logical step would be to block free domains.
If you're serious about your website, just buy a .pw domain for like $3. It doesn't have to be expensive.

Did not help, maybe there are other ways?
It could be something to do with the language set in your MySQL database. I'll wait for Kazuldur before suggesting anything else though, he probably has a better idea than I do.
1979  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: July 27, 2015, 07:39:25 PM
Yes it's a Russian. How to change it? And where to go? In what file and at what line? Thank you all in advance for your help.
Going off of the link that I posted previously, at index.php, line 65 add this:
Code:
$sql->set_charset('utf8');
Then, at line 155 add this code:
Code:
<meta charset="UTF-8">
Then try resetting the values to what you would like them to be.
1980  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: July 27, 2015, 05:15:03 PM
Is there anyway we can make a "Login" button first then they can "Claim". (I used faucetbox script). Thank for advice. I appreciate.
The only way to do that would be to either custom code it into the FaucetBox script, or to use the MiniFaucet script by Elbandi.
