You know you're a miner when it's -5c outside and your AC is running.....

Quick question: Is it possible to adjust the payout threshold for the pools? I'd like to be paid less often but in more consolidated amounts.

Next time we see 10k could be mid 2020. Almost no chance in 2019. Haven't even confirmed a bottom yet. This is so obvious that I cannot understand why ppl don't see it.
In which case I'll have to wait for the next version of the Roomba, which will probably use its enhanced *SUCTION* power to.... properly service the user. Ah well.

I SODL'd once. Felt dirty ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) I sell to cover business expenses and anticipated taxes. Having a Rosie Robot clean up all the solder balls , broken parts, and bits of desoldering braid *AND EMPTY ITSELF* would be one hell of a good business expense. Lambo.... Not so much. Of course at today's prices we're talking more second hand schwinn than Lambo...

Bitcoin needs to get above 10k fast. Irobot has a new model that empties its own bin, and I'm thinking "Man that can make me even MORE of a degenerate pig".....

This year has really sucked. Coins I sold in 2018 to cover operating expenses have an average sale price of $6400, which is a pittance compared to the 14-18k runups last year. And buying those coins back now is only going to be at 3200, barely a 100% profit.
Blahrgh. Still, it is nice of Jihan and Wu and the other flunkies to be giving out coinz. And it gives me a new floor when prices go back to the 6-7k range....

Hm. Keeps going lower I might have to transfer gold into bitcoin. Wonder if there are any coin dealers around who will sell their btc for gold....

True, they may be forced to dump as well in order to keep up. Kind of weird to see these people dumping the price of bitcoin into the ground giving HODLRs their coins for darn near free, but there you go....

Ok, it's time. No moon today. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fstatic1.squarespace.com%2Fstatic%2F56ecc03b60b5e97bda61a8ae%2F56f788dc40261dc1397d4927%2F56f788f240261dc1397d4948%2F1459063029693%2FAstronaut_Suicides_Neil_DaCosta_3.jpg%3Fformat%3D500w&t=663&c=DZcg3rVHZS2y3A)

Bcash SV up 43%.. so organic.
Think of it this way: People funded this monster by buying that Antminer crap and letting them drive other miners out. Payback time.

Stocks go down, bitcoin goes down. Stocks go up, bitcoin goes down.
Wheee!

Have you tried switching the fans between the two types of miners? Maybe the model not working with your device has a different way to determine RPM.
Try to isolate the problem.

On the positive side I won't be paying much in taxes this year on the hoard. More like a little pile these days, ah well.

Wife redundancy is till quite popular in some circles. It seems like too much trouble to me.
Actually, it could be easier than having one if they get along. One problem with living in what we call families compared to tribal times is that they have less people to talk to, which might be why they have a tendency to turn the man into a quasi-girlfriend (who they then cheat on because he is suddenly not as hot as he used to be). With two wives they can chatter with one another, leaving the man to be a man. Problem is that it can't work on a national scale without a lot of men dying one way or another. I will say it is really nice. Also nice to have the wife off with someone else every so often, they can deal with her shit.... Same old problem boring. Different problems, interesting.

WTF are these questions? They are going way too far.... Soon they will be demanding workplace confirmation or relatives information.....
Surprised they don't ask for all your passwords. You know so they can know you better.

Fuck even Gemini didn't even ask questions like that, fuck those two.
Yeah, where the fuck is "I earn my bitcoins"?

Have anyone here ever received something like this? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fmedia%2FDsykvhgV4AAi7of.jpg&t=663&c=id0erV6nxWXEbg) That is pretty wild. Explain why you have this money, because after all everyone knows it's not yours but really is someone else's loaned to you because of a specific reason. Odd that my personal wallets never ask me questions like that. Go figure. I'd recommend storing all wealth in something you control. Remember if you don't own your keys, you don't own bitcoins. Sounds like you own someone's fiat.

I think the answer is no. A step up transformer can double the voltage going to the power supply, but at the cost of doubling the current being pulled from the 110 volt outlet. Since higher current cause increased heat in wires of the same size, doubling the current will overload your 110v wires, pop the fuse, melt the socket, and possibly set things on fire.
Unless you have a 20-30 amp 110 volt service (anything's possible, but you're talking 8 gauge wires and some odd plugs) this is a really bad idea.
As a bonus, the converter will have a certain amount of inefficiency, so it will get warm and waste more power.
Best solution is to find a 220/240v outlet. Dryer maybe?

I went down to the Bitcoin ATM this morning and it was OUT OF COINS. So I picked up $500 on principle because it sounds like they needed them.
Still out of coins. Boo!
