Seconds in hexa. What other formats are there ? )

We mortals use simple seconds Smiley

Why are you jumping the gun without even announcing the final details of the compensation plans? Also you know that you are free to address any concerns to them directly on e-mail.

Are you talking to me...are you talking to me? De Niro, etc...  Smiley
OP posted a meek question...I commented.
Whatever, you don't need to post your opinion here that often...nobody is attacking spt and everybody already knows where you stand, really.

I wasn't attacking you and you weren't attacking spt. It was merely a suggestion and yes I do post a bit too often. No action in the other threads and I'm bored, but point noted.

Hi all.

Brought up some more stations today..

Nice update! What uptime format is that?
1983  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Asicminer News 15-30% of Network on: July 31, 2014, 07:59:26 PM
why so negative all the time? Do you own shares in AM?
Or is it just the way spoondoolies, worst name ever, have asked you to troll, shill and spam?

I'm trying to be realistic and not a dreamer like people holding shares.  Feel free to correct me with numbers, not personal attacks.

How much money do you think are needed to deploy the 60PH while having only the chips in hand. What are the costs per GH needed for this deployment? I already said that with a conservative 0.5$/GH (chips excluded) they need 30M$. They don't have that kind of money right now and money don't grow in trees.

I haven't been monitoring AM's financial status, but are you saying that AM is in dire financial straights and has to try to make salvage attempt with their chips?  The company that was 1/3 of the network last year at this time?

Well please go and take a look at their last financial report then. It should take you a maximum of 15 mins to find it and read it. Having 1/3 of the network last year means absolutely nothing right now and past performance doesn't mean that they will get 1/3 of the network this or next year. It's was much much easier to own 1/3 of the network last year when the total hashrate was low, but it's much harder now with the total network so big.

friedcat said that they are self-mining since mid July. Why doesn't he post the live hashing speed?
1984  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 31, 2014, 07:32:15 PM
Hey RoadStress

Do you know when the first SP30 machine of the groupbuy will ship?  What about Spondoolies?  Will they say when the groupbuy machines will start to ship?

Don't know.

The hash rate spec dropped from 5.4TH/s to 4.5TH/s -- a reduction of 16.7%.  Based on this, those of us who paid $5095 are due for a compensation of $5095 * 16.7% = ~$850 -- with the final adjusted price being $5095 - $850 = $4244.

Yet, new customers are now charged $3895 for the same product -- which is a significantly higher discount than the one paid by those of us who pre-ordered a while back.

So, the question for Spondoolies is:  Is 16.7% the final compensation that is coming in October?

You are getting your miner in August or September Batch 1. The website price is for September Batch 2. It's normal to have a lower price for a later delivery.

why exactly you are asking (meekly) if this is what you are going to get instead of requesting fair compensation, which is 25% (4.5 vs 6Th-this is what I ordered) plus compensation for higher electricity use (3000W vs 2500w)? Sheesh.

Why are you jumping the gun without even announcing the final details of the compensation plans? Also you know that you are free to address any concerns to them directly on e-mail.

Take the limited offer and subscribe now to shares of CoinBau AG, one of the future Bitcoin mining market leaders!

I think you are in the wrong forum section. This is the Hardware forum, not Securities.

Here is where you should post your shares announcement: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=78.0

Good luck!

gallery2000, you might be a credit card scam artist, but you are definitely now a shill as well.
Factually, you are the only shill in this thread.

Wrong. Everyone in this thread is a shill!

Friedcat has immersion cooling I would say they have one of the best chicken sheds you can get.
How hard would it be to put a new board in based on this video when they come online.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZavKweMrP4

Operational October 2013.

DataTank Container Data Center available in Q2 2014. Immersion-2 is an immersion cooling platform for 3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluids such as Novec 7000 and Novec 649. By utilizing passive 2-phase immersion cooling in an open bath design, customers benefit from massively reduced cooling energy bill, lower acquisition costs, space savings, and a truly universal and durable system.

I am aware of their immersion cooling setup, but that only has 500kW. For 60PH they need 60MW! Numbers don't lie.

As for the DataTank Containers well as previously said I don't think that they have the money in order to house 60PH. Not even for 30PH. DataTanks are damn expensive to build/deploy and AM is out of money.

Yes, I have a habit of naming my h/w... "gaederopus", "linguaefelis" and "princeps" are all species of Spondylus, thorny oysters or spiny oysters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spondylus). The relation is that Spondylus shells were once used as cash or money (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spondulix) which in modern terms is called Spondoolies.

Deep..

Good choice of names Smiley

SHITTY VENDOR !!! 11!!! (See how this works ?)

Thank you for your mature response shill. ;-)

How is your neck beard trimming going in your mom's basement?  ROFL

Yeah we do not give an F anymore! we are writing this from the loony bin

We are totally insane because we are calling a shill, a shill....and a troll, a troll.

Sorry if we offended anyone else but it has been an especially difficult day of fighting trolls and goblins with our foam lightsabers. Our neckbeards have not even grown in yet but they will soon enough. We are obviously just a bunch of kids building miners in our parents basement in our underwear...trimming out neckbeards. WTFE!!!

Too much RedBull?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but being a happy repeat customer of Bitmain is not shilling.

Again, good luck with your overpriced venture. I'm sorry that pointing out the reality of it is so traumatic for you.

Additionally, Xian is a short form spelling of my name, Christian.

Hello, If someone would like to sell its SP30 groupby due to the latest news, I would be glad to buy it.

Waiting to set all the details with SP-Tech regarding this GB order transfers and compensation. Will post an update when I will have it.

Spondoolies Tech!

I didn't know you could order new hardware today and SP would ship it today...  Do you read things now or just post Spondoolies in every thread?

OP never stated that he wants the hardware NOW. He only asked for a company that can deliver. Today I got my delivery confirmation for my July SP30 miner so yes they can lick a stamp and get the gear in mail. Working gear!

You should read again their last financial statement.

Last I checked they had 60PH which was completely paid for.

That's only the chips, but AM needs money for the rest of the components in order to start hashing. Also having cheap electricity available and high power capacity doesn't mean anything. It still takes some money to build a functional DC (need wiring, cabinets, cooling etc).

jimmothy how much $/GH do you think AM needs to start hashing considering they only have the chips right now?

AM owned 30% of the network with a large portion of their hashrate running out of what looked like a chicken shed...... it was mining at it's best.

I know, but owning 30% of a small network is easy. Doing it right now seems a much harder job. They will need a lot of chicken sheds for that and they don't come for free. If AM claims they are self-mining since July they should post the mining address so that everyone can see their speed, but that won't happen very soon because they are just too small. If they owned at least 20 PH right now they would've bragged about it in order to boost the shares price.
1998  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Biostar BTC-24GH Bitcoin Miner Review on: July 30, 2014, 09:43:33 PM

Our Chip was a 110nm self designed and self Produced chip.

Do you plan to self design a lower nm chip with better performance?
1999  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 30, 2014, 09:36:43 PM
You should take note that Bitfury uses customer funds to build mega farms and screw their customers ROI.

What difference do you think that actually makes? Whether they mine with their own systems or sell them to customers, the same amount of hashing power is still being added to the network so customers ROI will be the exact same.

no they asked for a lot of preorder money then claimed it could not pass customs out of russia.  they refunded all of us and mined the gear.  without our   free loan so to speak they never would have had the gear.  everyone of us got a refund but no extra money

So you decide to go with another pre-order and get burnt again?  Huh  I guess some people never learn.

I see that you are really trying, but failing badly to bash SP-Tech. They don't build mega farms for their selfish mining like Bitfury. What are we talking about here?
2000  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 30, 2014, 09:30:30 PM
maybe it screws roi in terms of btc.

but maybe it keeps btc price higher  in terms of usd. (pick any currency)

Lower difficulty=more BTC for us=maybe same money with a lower exchange rate. Talking about the "what if" is hard especially when there is nothing to do right now. The reality is that they increased the hashrate for everyone.

You should take note that Bitfury uses customer funds to build mega farms and screw their customers ROI.

What difference do you think that actually makes? Whether they mine with their own systems or sell them to customers, the same amount of hashing power is still being added to the network so customers ROI will be the exact same.

They deploy hashrate at cost. Selling it to customers for a mark-up would mean that less hashrate is added for the same because of the cost difference and maybe because other unknown reasons.
