Wow...I never knew that after nearly three decades with someone that is supposedly your soulmate for life, that you still have to desperately find "a way to grow together" or its divorce-ville.

Thanks for clarifying real marriage there, Bill.  Roll Eyes

(These fkn celebrity marriages...I swear)

One lucky guy that Bill is. Now he gets to upgrade to Wife 2.0.

No, the naming convention changed.
It will be "Wife 2" or "Wife 2022" most likely  Smiley

... except we all know how well microsoft upgrades go ...

Better not to boot it before Service Pack 1 or 2, then...  Roll Eyes

Thanx for all feedback and merits everyone. Appreciated.
Not to make excuses but I do want to emphasize that was just a rough iPhone reference track only
of an idea I had a while ago. It’s actually a work in progress.
I got a little too trigger happy on the post button last night after having a few too many. (as I do)
If/when I get motivated I will be recording it properly with updated lyrics, bass and real drums played by a human, (if I can convince my former band mate/ virtuoso drummer to sit in on a recording session)
I'll post it if/when it ever gets completed.
( I just have to get a round tooit....)

I already said before that i don't like these developments.
Already, some f-kheads are starting saying the Nescape word..blah blah. Whatever.

The structure of the whole market is quite similar to Jan 2018, unfortunately.
If bitcoin will not go up within the next 2wk max, shitcoins will collapse, imho, and bitcoin will decline too a bit.
Time is of the essence or we will have a meetup with 42-43K.
The idea of a double hump is still alive.

I could well live with that.
House extension works holding up for about the next 2 months, after which some monthly spendable fiat should be available to me again.
I'd welcome a $43k break of the early bull run and buy some more sats for the future.

EDIT: That said, have a good night y'all.

I'd hate having to keep selling. I'll hodl for now.

Whenever i sold, i did regret it later.
Even when i sold "at a profit".

Also important (not going into alts too much here) BNB and ETH hit important resistance zones.
Should end in a BTC pump, ultimately. $60k incoming?

Hopefully.

I love the smell of burnt alt investors in the morning well, any time really.

Have a sMerit.
Not so much for the quality of the post, but more for the quality of the laughs it gave me  Cheesy

"I'd rather put my eggs in ONE basket that I fully control, than in TEN baskets that others control."
I was just looking at CoinMarketCap:
#1: Bitcoin! But it's losing market share, so I wondered what's taking the market share. Turns out, most of them are centralized:
#2: Centrally controlled Hardforkcoin Ethereum.
#3: Centrally controlled Binance Coin.
#4: Centrally controlled Ripple.
#5: Not centrally controlled Dogecoin (but originally started as a meme troll).
#6: Centrally controlled and probably not backed stablecoin Tether. I find it very hard to believe someone holds 52 billion dollar on some bank account to counter this value.
#7: Cardano. I know nothing about this so this is where I stop.

Why are people giving up their trustless Bitcoin for centrally controlled coins that are solely created to make the creator rich?

I think short term traders/thinkers see alts as a way to get bigger/quicker gains. Thing is, it’s a very risky game. You might get lucky doing it, you might not. I’ve never played that game & never will, been HODLING since 2014. Slow & steady wins the race, a big % of alt gains end up back in bitcoin any way. The sole reason people mess around with alts is to increase their bitcoin stash.

Bitcoin is going to $150,000+ this year, sit back & relax. I prefer knowing my money is safe in King Daddy, OG’s don’t mess around with alts, it’s a poor person game.

Especially, like at the moment, when you see top5 alts stalling in their rise and bitcoin grow in its price (5m-15m candles), you recognize the game.
Many of the $$$ spent in altcoin markets will return to BTC.

EDIT: Of course these are smallish movements, compared to BTC market cap, but you can spot them once in a while.

I think that they are not so much giving up their bitcoin, but since 2017 fresh retailers pump their money into altcoins.
Many new "investors" consider themselves too late to make monster gains with bitcoin (because "too expensive", "too late" ... and so on).
This is my impression of the 2020/21 market.

ouch, observing $58k+
Futures contracts whales getting rekt first time today?
Gotta run, see you after 2pm UTC (CME FX settlement time).

Ha! I just clicked on this one! Memories!  First ever upload 6 years ago.
Recorded 20 years ago in some wannabe producer dudes basement with a 16track digital machine for free.
And yeah,  he added that whatever drum track. I didn't have much of an opinion on it.
I just let it ride because I was like "oh cool! I'm recording my own song for free! "
He didn't even bother to turn the stupid thing off at the end....lol
Now its kind of etched permanently in time.
Oh look, it has 24 plays!  Woo hoo! I should be star on Instagram so my ego can get stroked....

Nice track.
Bongos too much upfront and become boring soon, could have been compressed a little more "backgroundish" (shorter attack, longer release, to make them "move" a little more around, dynamically spoken). The syllables come out a little sharp, i suggest using a good de-esser (gently) and a valve-microphone (is that even the correct word?). Good enough for a basement production, though.

A (pro-) tip for future voice recordings:
When doubling voices, just leave out the sizzling (s,z,sh,x) and explosive sounds (t,p,k,b,qu), so concentrate on singing only soft sounds and vowels on the backing vocals/doublings/choruses, because you will never get all the "xplosives" synchronously. (EDIT: Unless you are Annie Lennox)
Nowadays this is done prost-recording via lots of processing and even manual shifting, but i think the "old way" also takes care of too much s-sounds adding up and getting much too harsh, so that the de-essing makes the lead singer(s) sound like they got their front teeth knocked out  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I keep hearing this on many modern pop productions, when the S's found more like F's - "like thif, for ekfample", like singing after a dental surgery.

+1WOsMerit

EDIT: Thanks to the dude i could actually merit the post(s)  Smiley Cool
Can't give a Like on soundcloud, though (opsec'n shit)

Price going down yo.

Say hello to CME futures expiry  Wink
Tomorrow it's settlement day, number be going up yo  Cool
Did i already mention i hate bitcoin options and futures contracts, because of the manipulators they attracted?  Roll Eyes

Thanks, didn't know that.

I made myself the mistake to buy a few days before a futures expiry last time, pretty close at ATH  Roll Eyes
Could have gotten a good 5%+ discount if i would have been more cautionos about that...

CME Futures are at $57.315, so i'd be not too surprised if BTC stays below that until shortly after futures contracts expiry datetime.
We'll see anyway  Grin

Easy one.

[edited out]

Yeah and there is the extra factor this month of the -  10-12%  diff adjustment falling on May 1

It is a nice boost in earnings for mining farms.

Excellent point, the difficulty adjustment is going to boost this further.

This is going to be an extremely interesting month.

"Sell altcoins in May, buy Bitcoin and don't go away" - LOL.

FTFY  Grin

Inverse H&S completed and confirmed, options expired, bull market resume.
CME Futures settlement on 3rd of May (IIRC). Maybe another dip coming soon?.
How high will the king rise this time? My bet is quite conservative, $65k.
1997  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 29, 2021, 05:05:24 PM
On the way for the 51K retest ?  Roll Eyes

Hmm, it doesn't make much sense to sell now. $51k would be a good foundation for a rocket launch, but it's too early.
Interesting to observe, tho.

Switching to a Mac is any easy enough solution for the average person worried about ransomware.

Only if you see it from a client side perspective...
You can happily throw away Apple's server software, though.
Industry runs M$ servers, typically, and you're right in some way, because the OS itself is the malware.

Oh, i just read about futures expiring tomorrow.
Not unusual that the market is on hold (because we already had the dip because of the options). Usually BTC is rising shortly after futures are cleared.
2000  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 29, 2021, 02:30:20 PM
We need a couple of good days to finish April in the green. We haven't had a red month since last summer.

Remember how many people thought April was going to be a breakout month? We're lucky it's almost sideways.

The shouty loud mouthed crypto YouTubers are now saying breakout will definitely happen tomorrow.  Roll Eyes

Meh.

They see an inverted H&S. It looks like it's forming on lower timeframes, but we already know that BTC does that in that kind of range too.
So if the narrative plays out, they might be right.
I also see Alts going strong, but i asked myself already how long the rise will hold up. Some coins almost doubled in $ value, also in BTC value, because the king still moving sideways. We already know what might be next: Alt gains flip over to BTC, liquidating leveraged longs, sending alts into a "correction" (which might last until Q1/2022). Just my 2c

EDIT: The other way would be a revisit of $40k territory, with alts doubling up once again. But this would be more like 2013 again, so it's basically 2017 vs 2013 repeated.
