The same can be said about Christianity, it always staggers me how otherwise nice people can believe in this kind of bullshit, I know having this kind of attitude pisses off religious people but it does baffle me, the least you could do is form your own religion without all this crap, I'd support such a move, I couldn't care if people worship the flying spaghetti monster as long as it was done peacefully but when you try to use an invisible unproven god to justify murder and the orpression of other people you're just lunatics.

Take out the parts of killing infidels, homosexuality being a sin and the treatment of women and all the other crap that goes against common knowledge then we have a deal on a new religion.
1982  Other / Off-topic / Re: learn programming on: February 05, 2015, 05:58:56 PM
I'm not much of a programmer but I highly recommend C++ Primer 5th Edition, pick that one only as the others leave all sorts of useful things out including a proper glossary on all programming terms, the writer remembered to explain the absolute basics such as paranthesis so you're not completely fucking lost if you're having a conversation with programmers on the internet, a lot of them just assume you know what they're talking about.

Hundreds of pages but definitely is something every beginner should read.

Don't make me quote the Quaran because I will. Tongue
1984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: will 2015 be a make-or-break year? on: February 05, 2015, 03:07:39 PM
So far Bitcoin has only been around during relatively 'stable' markets, what will show Bitcoins worth is how it will operating during a financial crisis like what happened in 2008 and I definitely think that 2015 will be when it will happen, it's already starting since the Swiss have pulled out of the Euro, now we just wait for the other contries to fall.
1985  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudi Arabia Holds All Male Women’s Rights Conference on: February 05, 2015, 03:03:08 PM
There isn't much positive things to be said abotu the Quaran lets be honest, it's pretty much the old testament of the Bible, people like to gloss it over like it's nothing but fail to realise people actually get brainwashed with the bullshit in these books.
1986  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isis burns Jordanian Pilot alive on: February 05, 2015, 01:12:39 PM
Even captives that exhausted would be afraid in that situation, lets be honest, also.

That is, sadly, hillarious. Did they debate on how much freedom it's ok to give them... just not too much. This country is just an example of what happens when you let men use religion to make the rules and is proof the literal interpretation of the quran or bible is not compatible with modern times.

It doesn't matter who uses religion, it's always going to be fucked up, look at Sarah Palin and Michel Bachman for fucks sake, I think we should be accepting it's not one religion or the other but all of them are equally fucked up in their own way.
1988  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudi Arabia Holds All Male Women’s Rights Conference on: February 05, 2015, 10:34:10 AM
As usual this is a great sign for religious people everywhere to show how 'tolerant' they are, I believe Catholics pulled the same kind of bullshit awhile back, this kind of double standard bullshit is why I get so pissed off even at people that claim they don't have a problem with gays, why do otherwise nice people support these total assholes?

And yes, by not denouncing them and calling them the hypocrites they are, you do pretty much give these guys credibility.

The catholics were really enlighted on womens rights. As early as the sixth century the bishops voted in favor of yes in the debate about "Are Women Human?" (32 yes and 31 no) Cheesy.

*angry twitch* >_<
1989  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isis burns Jordanian Pilot alive on: February 05, 2015, 09:03:08 AM
It looks like some kind of reality show. I wonder why the victims are so passive before it happens and why they are ready to talk in front if the camera to help the terrorists to build their shit. Anyway, at the end you are supposed to die in a horrific way, so fuck them

I hear they use drugs or something, that will likely be why they're too passive to fight back properly, they do live in an area where it's okay to grow opium and such.

1991  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-02-04] Coinfire.io: RuneScape Now Takes bitcoin on: February 04, 2015, 09:33:36 AM
That's fantastic news, a lot of people still play Runescape so maybe this will encourage other games companies to go and use Bitcoin too.
1992  Economy / Economics / Re: Greece could become crypto-land with a crowdsourced bailout. on: February 04, 2015, 09:14:34 AM
Good luck finding someone trustworthy to 'hold' all that money for you while they get things sorted politically, you'd have better luck funding the Kurdistan government..... Hmmm...
1993  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Girl poured acid on boyfriend’s Junk after he released sex tape on: February 04, 2015, 06:19:25 AM
Dropbox auto syncs pics and vids, any other apps actually put it on social media automatically? Maybe he thought Vine was the device's video recorder?

You're seriously not buying the "I didn't know how it got there" line are you?

Being a cunt isn't necessarily going to get them to respond any quicker.
1995  Other / Politics & Society / Re: OPEC leader: Oil could shoot back to $200 on: February 04, 2015, 05:49:50 AM
You aren't taking into account hyperinflation, even with a good supply $200 a barrel is a very real possibility with the amount of money being printed in the world.

Inflation in terms of USD will never reach more than 10% a year. So oil at $200 a barrel is a very very distant possibility. IMO, not possible in this decade at least.

You're completely underestimating the amount that is being printed and borrowed.
1996  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Corporate CEO Takes On Fictional Unemployment Rate - US on: February 04, 2015, 05:00:07 AM
Not surprised in the slightest, Peter Schiff has already gone into a lot of detail on this and so has Max Keiser, here in the UK they've pulled the same trick, now even if you're below the tax income threshold etc. you'll be 'employed' because it makes the numbers look better, the politicians are simply wanting everything to be perfect for the elections and then they'll let everything collapse.
1997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE QUEEN BITCH AND HER GOVERNMENTS REIGN HAS ENDED on: February 04, 2015, 04:56:46 AM
These topics that don't link anything to what they're talking about and are just filled with incoherent ranting are starting to annoy me, at least I explain what I'm going on about before I go off on a tangent.
1998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Bitcoin Elite' to Gather on Secret Island for Bilderberg-Style Retreat on: February 04, 2015, 04:47:25 AM
From a regulatory standpoint, regulating Bitcoin is completely unrealistic, the only thing they can really do and have if heavily restrict the trade of Bitcoin for paper money, anything else is simply going to drive cryptocurrencies underground because in order to enforce any laws against cryptocurrencies they would have to arrest just about everyone trading with it and that means going into peoples homes and finding out if their are any coins on their computers.

The regulation and criminilisation of cryptocurrencies is going to be about as sucessful as what they did with filesharing, eventually they're just going to end up bankrupting themselves trying to take us all down.
1999  Other / Politics & Society / Re: OPEC leader: Oil could shoot back to $200 on: February 04, 2015, 04:00:24 AM
No. It will never happen. The supply is growing at a rate, which is much higher than the growth in demand. And remember that even now, some of the oil producing regions (such as South Sudan and Libya) are not producing crude at normal levels, due to political instability and other factors.

You aren't taking into account hyperinflation, even with a good supply $200 a barrel is a very real possibility with the amount of money being printed in the world.
2000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: everyone... please contact mcdondolds and ask them to accept bitcoin on: February 04, 2015, 03:04:15 AM
No, not only do I not see the point in actually begging someone to accept Bitcoin who isn't necessarily going to care about it anyway their food is crap, granted, it would be a PR boost for Bitcoin but I don't see why when there are others who would jump at the chance to get business with cryptocurrency that we should cater to people like that, besides, their food sucks.
