1981  Local / Pilipinas / BTC Mining Discussion: "Bakit hindi na profitable ang BTC Mining sa Pilipinas?" on: January 06, 2020, 06:19:09 PM
I liked to share this idea na kung Bakit hindi na nga profitable ang mining sa Pilipinas? Marami kasi akong nakikita na tao na nagtatanong regarding sa bitcoin mining, not only in this section kundi sa buong site, gusto malaman if may good cause pa nga ba ang Bitcoin Mining. First of all, let's talk about in other countries, specifically China, as an introduction to this discussion. I saw a thread that talks about the Banning of mining in China, which is nakakabahala din dahil most of the bitcoin miners today ay galing sa kanila.

We all know that hardwares are prone to overheating kapag 24 hours naka-open, so kung dito ka mag-mimina, you need cooling apparatus para lang ma-maintain yung efficiency ng hardware mo.

Syempre as a business minded person, as long as may opportunity na makakakuha ka ng profit, sasamantalahin mo yung murang electricity bill.

Take note that mining consumes a lot of energy.
  • Pangalawa, Unlike China, our climate is not good for Mining Business. Most likely, bibili ka pa ng maraming aircoin to be the cooling apparatus for the hardwares na umiinit dahil 24/7 nakabukas.
Also, wala namang available na ASICs dito so basically sa ibang bansa ka pa oorder, which costs shipping fee.

Kung 75% sa China, maybe someday we can own at least 25%. That's the thing I foresee if napripriotize lang ang technology sa ating bansa. More contents in the future!

1982  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pumping because of Tesla boy? on: January 06, 2020, 06:06:18 PM
I think this tesla isn't the reason why bitcoin pumped lately.

The reason why the price of BTC surged from $6,853 to $7,369 over an 8-hour period is because of the war between US-Iran. The reason for this war was Iran's top military commander has been killed by the US. Since there are linear moments that are happening sometimes in the market, it occurs in this situation. This situation make the oil prices pumped which makes the BTC price also surged coincidentally.

But we aren't still sure since some speculations that January 2020 will go pump so maybe it's the reason or there's a chance that the situation between US-Iran makes this massive bullish in Bitcoin.

1984  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com Creative Competition | .15 BTC in prizes! on: January 05, 2020, 07:18:09 PM
I knew you once complain about the time zone not included and i think you have also learned a lesson about not participating in the competition a couple of days before the closure date.
No mate, I complained 'cause I saw a hole. If I didn't point out the missing element of this content, what do you think will happen at the end of this contest?

I'm having doubts if I'll join the contest since I have a lot of work to do and I didn't regret it if I missed this contest.  Wink
So basically I don't care, I just wanted to help and clear things out. I hope some people also doing that thing, not just spamming some shtty threads out there to earn.  Wink

Ha ha. Not actually mate. Everyone wants to win. that's true. My motto is to improve myself always. That was my observation and I mentioned everything with logic
If you really wanted to improve yourself then don't complain. That's one of the disciplines you should follow when improving. If you think you still lack skills then practice instead of saying this an unfair competition.

Regarding the template: personally I don't really care about the template, as long as it's legal why not (oh man, doesn't this forum also use templates even though it's the default template).
Mate, the templates used here on the web are different on video templates. You're assuming this contest emphasized creativity but doesn't know template videos are considered as a lack of creativity. Creativity means you have idea, what's the purpose of that idea if you'll just gonna put effects and add some elements on template/ready-made videos.  Cheesy
1985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Affection of World War III to Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2020, 07:06:42 PM
Well, yes you guys have a different perspective on this situation and I guess there's nothing wrong with my perspective since it's my opinion only.
I think if it will only be between Iran and the US, it will not be a full-blown war. Iran will be flexing all her muscles while the US will only lift a finger and we still know which side the tide will favor. This will just become another rape case in the Middle East, a total annihilation against a helpless opponent.
We aren't sure if that will gonna happen since advanced technology is growing vastly, which means there are more advanced weapons that can instantly cause massive destruction. They have allies also, which is Russia and many more that can do that for them when needed.
I doubt that the people of South-East Asia will join the war because they lack good armies.
It might be true, the Philippines doesn't have good weapons even strong helmet and bulletproof kevlar.  Roll Eyes

Gonna change the thread subject to "Affection of War to Bitcoin" since it is true that it's very far away to have WWIII.
1986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin never reaches a new ATH? on: January 05, 2020, 06:28:10 PM
After the ATH of bitcoin, there's a lot of changes in the market and also in mining. I guess they've just used cryptocurrency for their own benefit in 2017 as it's being broadcast in the news that Bitcoin is growing up.
Bitcoin's price can never really be stable. It has been fluctuating all the while since it's birth.
Well, all of the assets that are existing even in stocks are fluctuating so it's normal to consider that price can really never be stable.

Even it's not a good design, try to show it to us kasi di naman laging magaling sa umpisa.
It also shows na inaral niyo talaga yung guidelines sa paggawa kahit sobrang hirap talaga niyan sa una.
1988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 04, 2020, 07:25:44 PM
Another satoshi-related thread, anyways, here are my thoughts.

There's a possibility that bitcoin might fell but there's a chance it doesn't. Individuals' affection for each thing always has an effect on it so once Satoshi reveals himself in the public. Investors might get off if Satoshi himself wasn't really a good individual, more likely a character that supports wrongdoings.

The other hand of the situation is, people don't really care about satoshi. Most likely, Satoshi will get reacher for his novelty award for creating bitcoin. He will be able to claim his patent and be one of the world's known successful people.
1989  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Off-Topics] Pilipinas on: January 04, 2020, 07:15:14 PM

I've made a thread which discuss the effects and possible situation might happen during world war 3 in the Bitcoin Discussion.
This is the thread: Affection of World War III to Bitcoin?

Try niyo basahin and makipag-discuss baka may idea kayo kung ano ang mga pwedeng mangyari if nagpatuloy nga ang world war 3.
It's a worth reading thread.  Wink
1990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Affection of World War III to Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2020, 06:49:24 PM
Point of correction, gulf world war III. No country that has internet monopoly and nothing will happen to internet if paraventure the two countries go into war with each others alongside their allies. Bitcoin will stand a better position to blossom if eventually the Middle East go into war with their allies.
We're not sure if it's going to be another battle in the gulf, so you don't have to correct it.
Many nations now have nuclear power, and it can actually destroy the entire land means that in this war there is a risk that the global network could be disrupted. We're talking about this war's possibilities and its effect on cryptocurrencies.

I just read the news: Bitcoin was sold for $ 24,000 per BTC in Iran when the US tension increased.
It happens just because it's pre-war situations not during world war 3. What about during WWIII? Do you think they'll still care for the market, I guess not.
1991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Affection of War to Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2020, 05:35:46 PM
What's going to happen to cryptocurrencies or specifically bitcoin if World War 3 is going to happen? That's the first issue I think pop-ups because of a lot of headlines about the US-Iran war.
If you want to read the information where did it started, here it is:

The government will usually focus on manufacturing in war materials in the war culture, and most likely some countries' economic status will go down and some will go up.

I think this war's effect for the cryptocurrency is when the war ruined the internet, which is the global network, where even the cryptocurrency is reliant on most citizens. Most of the business we're running on the internet today, all of the company's important files are also uploaded to secure internet storage. The internet is the most powerful invention and most of the devices today rely on the power of the internet. Due to the internet, even the blockchain network is processing because there is no possibility that the chain network will run on its own without the internet.

Basically, this proves that; No Internet No Blockchain

I'm not finished yet...
Basically, if there's a war, most people will die, do you think they're going to end up thinking about their cryptocurrency investments? No!
The importance of cryptocurrency at that time will actually fade and the market will fall. All of the people will just worry about the biggest problem which is the war.
Okay, all this was my view only when the US and Iran have a massive war so what's yours?
1992  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [TUTORIAL] Paano gumawa ng SIGNATURE using BBCodes [original content] on: January 04, 2020, 03:31:18 PM
Kaya kungbwala kang tyaga wala kang BBCODE....
Wishing u all the best...
It's just a matter of TR TD coding at designs lang talaga kaya kahit beginner ay makakagawa ng signature.

Well @JCbtc, bbcodes are similar to html, at inaaral din ito sa IT. BBcodes are just codes that are a markup language used in message boards katulad nitong forum na ito.
1993  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com Creative Competition | .15 BTC in prizes! on: January 03, 2020, 02:32:59 PM
This contest is not 100% fair judgment. I want to show some reason.
I have no complained about the 1st winner. His video deserves that position.
But if you see 2nd and 3rd winners video then you all can see the quality. and I want to mark one thing that caught my eye.
...............

So after giving the announcement team select winners who submitted the video in the last time. So in my observation, it's not 100% fair. I also submitted a video in this contest and I am not disappointed to not get reward Wink

Anyway Congratulations all the winners and wish you guys all the very best in future
Hey, read this and also read the whole discussion on page 5-6.

@absolutely-positioned already admitted that it's an early closing of the contest and he didn't indicate what's the timezone we should use as a basis.
Today is the last day to get your entries in!
December 28, forum time right?
December 28th at Midnight PST
The guy you are pointing out posted his/her entry on December 28, 2019, 07:51:09 AM which is equivalent to 11:51:09 AM PST. So basically even the contest wasn't extended, his/her entry is still included on the participants that sent their entry before the deadline.

Therefore, this as a fair contest. I also checked those entries of the winners and it seems they really deserve it.

After all of the debate, I can say that originality really matters as shown in this contest. It is the standard that should be followed in every contest. Even the entries of the winners are simple, they manage to won this contest through content-wise. I'm satisfied that there's no entry won that uses template videos, it lacks content and originality.
1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: January 02, 2020, 11:04:22 PM
I heard about that story and the news because my uncle had previously worked in the same casino. It's sad to hear people being unable to control themselves and even commit crimes just to try gambling. As for me, gambling is only for fun, and if we don't regulate our impulses, it could ruin our lives. Greed could result in losses, so when it comes to gambling, we have to know our limits.
Gambling is for entertainment and fun, yes. Gambling isn't really for some normal persons 'cause probably they will get addicted to it and most likely, their lives will be ruined. Actually, you're lucky enough to have relatives that knows the reality inside a casino so you and your family will be aware of it. It is true that most of the time, people always getting addicted when they feel satisfaction.

They should have control and have limitations on each thing to avoid addiction. There are many things where we can feel satisfaction, not only in gambling so I hope they learn it early.
1995  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post Your 2019 Success Stories Here on: January 02, 2020, 10:30:50 PM
I made a lot of success this 2019 and all of it are written here in the forum.

First, I learned more technicalities when it comes to blockchain like using different programming languages to create a self-made chain network. Why did I consider it as my success? Basically it was knowledge and it was a very big deal for me. Second, I managed to be a Sr. Member and Hero Member in the same year and now this 2020, I won't hold back and will grind as soon as possible to be legendary. Third, gaining a lot of BTC this year than in 2018.

To summarize my story here, all of it was a success made through effort and dedication here in the forum, without me wanting to earn more produced a beautiful product that makes my 2019 so good.
1996  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I start earning BTC? on: January 02, 2020, 10:10:41 PM
If you wanted to earn BTC through doing something or exerting effort in this forum, there's a lot of it here. There are many sub-job here in a forum where you can receive bitcoin as payment that depends on your rank.

There is also a service section here where you can offer your service. If you're good at making digital arts, then graphic artists will be fit on you. Logo and thread designs can earn you a lot of money.
One of the best methods to earn here in this forum is by joining signature campaigns but apparently, it will be pretty hard for us newbies to earn money using this it only pays well to full member rank and above.
Yes you are right that joining a signature campaign is quite difficult for new members to earn money. In addition to promoting signatures newcomers can easily make money by bouncing.
I think not, there are many beginners from the past that is receiving a lot more money than some higher rank members here. Effort and dedication really matter, try to develop yourself and learn a lot more things and use it to earn profit.

Well done disqualifying those who plagiarized content and not following rules. They don't deserve another chance.

By the way, I got my payment and looking forward to next week's contribution of high quality images.

Will leave a merit to you mate! Cheers and Happy New Year!
Yeah, it's a great job to CM julerz12 for not considering those entries due to plagiarizing some pictures from the internet. It's unfair for us because we exerted effort on taking pictures and some of it isn't being counted, might be low quality or not travel pictures. If other participants will be considered then the bmy.guide platform will be full of plagiarize pictures. Even though it's just one mistake, they should still face consequences.

bump this thread (thanks for the consideration moderator)

This is part II of the bitcoin mining guide that was created by me.

I hope this helps you on your journey in bitcointalk!
