21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's price surpass $100,000 by the end of 2025? on: June 28, 2024, 12:28:20 PM
Will Bitcoin reach $100,000 by 2025?
We all expect it to, if it doesn't, then it would be as a result of many factors, such as global inflation and economic downturn, there is also war and chaos in some parts of the world and it is looking to spread, there are also negative crypto news all the time, for example people are already panicking because MT. Gox plans to start returning lost funds to their creditors next month, etc.

That being said, bitcoin should get to that price and even higher, but if the negative factors supercedes, then it might not happen as soon as expected, and we have no choice but to wait.

The champions of the just concluded 23/24 Nigerian premier league season, Rangers International of Enugu have declared through their manager that they are ready to dominate in Africa, and that's by winning the CAF champions league:
https://thesun.ng/champions-league-rangers-ready-to-rule-africa-ezeaku/?amp

Remember that Enyimba football club of Aba is the only Nigerian football club to have won the CAF CL, and they won it back to back, in the 02/03 and 03/04 seasons respectively, and ever since then, no Nigerian team has ever won the trophy again. Do you think Enugu Rangers can do it next season? And what do you think could be wrong, why Nigerian clubs fail to win the CL.

1. Store private keys well on paper, if you store in the keep / google office if the email is hacked of course your records are not safe and can be copied, it is dangerous.
There is no need for you to store private keys of all your addresses that you have used, what you have to store on paper is your seed phrase, because with your seed phrase, you can recover all of your addresses in your wallet. Of course you shouldn't also keep your seed phrase in your mail box, it shouldn't be anywhere close to the internet, but should be backed up offline.
24  Economy / Reputation / Re: Chatbots: The Future of Scam Hunting on: June 28, 2024, 08:44:44 AM
I don't remember people disclosing that they used a spell check when that became popular.
I think there is a difference between users who use spell-checkers, like Grammarly for example, to correct grammatical and spelling mistakes in posts that they have constructed by themselves, out of their own thoughts and knowledge, and someone who uses AI chatbot to generate posts for them, and all they do is copy and paste it in the forum. The latter is definitely obnoxious and reeks of laziness, but people who use the former, tend to get better in their spelling and grammar overtime.

Douglas Luis can be official in the following hours, operation worth 70m€. around that.
Douglas Luiz will be greatly missed in Aston Villa, he was so important for them last season and contributed quite a lot to their journey to the CL. Right now Jventus isn't the big and successful club we know them to be, but it remains a great move for Douglas, it is a move that can take his career to the next level if he performs very well and helps to bring Juve back to challenging for trophies.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ballon D Or Outrights | 2024 on: June 27, 2024, 10:12:26 PM
Don't you think the odd is quite good for Bellingham. If you have watched Vini's performance today against Costa Rica, I'm sure you have observed that he is going to be disaster in National team once again. He never seems to be confident in yellow.
Here's the chance for Bellingham. If he can perform as usual and lead his team to Final, he has a great chance for winning 2024 Ballon D Or. Thoughts on placing bets? Who do you think will win this year Ballon D Or and why? Please share your opinion and whether placing bets on Jude makes sense.
The odds on Bellingham is good, but it is only that way because his chances of beating Vini Jr to it is slim, and that is why the odd on Vini Jr's is small, and you have to put quite a lot of money on it to win something tangible.

Bellingham is going to come second, Vini Jr will win the Ballon D'Or, he came to life in all the CL big games for Real Madrid last season, Bellingham started the season better than Vini, but in the bigger games, he was nowhere to be found, but Vini stood up when it mattered and was absolutely brilliant. As for their national teams, Jude is also having a bad tournament thus far, and with the way England is playing, they won't win the trophy, so both the Copa America and the Euros might not count in any of their favor.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Enconomic foresight of Africa on: June 27, 2024, 08:22:34 PM
It all starts with education, if we educate the children well they can find their way into good employment, poverty will be oessejed & countries can grow.
I don't think the problem stems from education, in my country for example most young men and women try their best to leave the country after graduating from the university, they want to leave for better opportunities, either to further their education abroad or to get a job in a system that is working. If there was a lot on offer back home, they would definitely prefer to remain in the country, but can you blame them for the path they have chosen.

It is a failed system in most countries in Africa, and the problem stems from those in power. Tax payers money is used to fund the expensive lifestyle of our leaders, instead of it to be channeled to development and infrastructure building. Things can only get better when the system starts working.
28  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin wallet update warning on: June 27, 2024, 07:42:18 PM
If you login to your electrum wallet on mobile phone maybe want to make payment and after that what you need to do is to log out from wallet and exit otherwise if you didn't login out its easier for scammer to access your wallet since is still on active window.
Na just small thing be that, you self supposed understand am very well more than me because i know say my level never even near una own here.
It doesn't work like that my bro, firstly you don't "login" to your electrum wallet, na only custodial platforms wey you dey login to, with a username and password, but that one no be the point i wan establish here.

As long as your wallet dey online, scammers go fit attack you. Your password dey only protect your wallet from attack wey dey physical, e no dey protect you from online attack, so e no matter to an online attacker if your wallet is password protected or not.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Enconomic foresight of Africa on: June 26, 2024, 10:03:43 PM
This has been discussed quite a lot of times already, underdevelopment isn't only in Africa, there are a lot of countries in different continents that are underdeveloped or developing. The challenges are very clear in Africa, corruption/mismanagement of funds, very bad leaders/policy makers, etc. Those in charge of making decisions in many African countries are either corrupt or unqualified for the role they occupy, and the result is what you see.

That being said, there are African countries with good economies and developments, like South Africa, Egypt and Algeria, and many more are growing and developing fast.

2- Before updating your app make sure to visit the google play store yourself to confirm.
You no even suppose download your bitcoin wallet from Playstore, because e dey easy for person wey no too sabi to make mistake, come go download phishing application wey go steal their money. Na for the wallet original website you suppose download and update am.
3- Do not feel so lazy to always logout from your app before going to bed, except you don't have fund inside but even as that it's not encourgeable to do so.
Wetin you mean for here abeg?
31  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any other way wallet can be compromised? on: June 26, 2024, 08:31:28 PM
It's becoming scary day by day to leave huge amount of assets on wallet this days.
On what kind of wallets, offline, online, closed source? etc. You cannot just say it is scary to keep huge assets in wallets these days, wallets that are online and one that you connect to different websites for airdrops have never been safe. From the replies of many in this topic, it should be clear to you now why you lost your funds.

If you don't want to lose more, keep your huge amounts in offline wallets, create an empty wallet if you want to claim airdrops or you can forget about airdrops completely. Being your own bank comes with quite a lot of responsibilities and anyone who isn't ready for it should prolly not be using bitcoin.
32  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.com|🚀Join BetFury Cryptodrop 🌔 Share $20 MLN in BFG on: June 26, 2024, 05:13:09 PM
I am glad that Betfury has re-launched a subscription campaign on the forum. I think it will attract new users to the casino. Hopefully, thanks to the campaign more people will learn about BFG and it will have a positive effect on the token value. But unfortunately Betfury's subscription campaigns ended quickly, maybe this one will last much longer.
I also hope the campaign lasts long this time around, betFury casino isn't a newly created one, they have been around for awhile and they offer a lot to their players/customers, it is great to play on their platform and it is important they advertise it and allure new players to the platform. Let's continue to support their platform and i wish BetFury great success going forward.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigeria Premier League/Players Discussion Thread on: June 26, 2024, 04:42:57 PM
This is the recent games results and the new season games fixture.
What you wrote isn't clear to me, the 23/24 Nigerian premier league season is over and the fixture you posted is that of the last game of the season.
The problem we have in the NPL is that there is no specific TV Channel to watch the Matches. But you can get the information from their website, blogs and social media channels. I am predicted that either Rivers United or Bayelsa United will win the Cup this time. What is your opinion?
I think you can watch some of the NPL games on Startimes. Enugu Rangers already won the title for the NPL 23/24 season, making it the 8th time they have won the title, Enugu Rangers and Remo Stars both qualified for the CL, whilst Enyimba could only book a spot in the Confederation cup by finishing 3rd.
34  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: We all know the rules on: June 25, 2024, 01:23:28 PM
Why some of una no want make non-Nigerians understand wetin una dey talk for this local board, this place isn't a secret cult, and anything you post on the internet is already public, and can be interpreted in one way or another by persons who don't even understand your language. You fit easily understand wetin users dey talk for their own local board if you use translation tools. That being said, translation tools have not added pidgin yet, but who knows, some people can find ways to still understand it through their African friends or some other means. Thus my message here is that anything you want to keep a scecret should be said only in PM's or in direct messages to the person on Telegram or Whatsapp, if you have their phone numbers.

The accepted languages na Pidgin and English, me i dey use the two of dem, i dey even mix the two of them for one post, i no get wahala with am, neither do i have a problem with people who want to communicate only in English Language.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigeria Premier League/Players Discussion Thread on: June 24, 2024, 07:00:39 PM
Is it too difficult to comprehend? Lmao. Nigeria doesn't give two shiits about me , my mental, I'd do same too, I don't care whatever that happens, man's just tryna survive. What reasons? Banning a player who was disrespected by the head coach?
Lol, okay!
You need chemistry within these players. Players who understands themselves, who play together week in week out, we can't continue this way.
Players cannot play week in, week out in their national team, footballers play most of their football in their club side. Wink
Do you know players pay money to the NFF to be called up to play for the national team?  So many players playing for Nigeria also lacks discipline. Nigeria will never go forward with this!
I understand what you are saying my bro, i just think we have no choice as Nigerians but to continue to support the team, even as we clamor for a change in everything concerning our football.
36  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the most reliable way of earning Bitcoin on: June 24, 2024, 05:20:44 PM
Sincerely speaking, I don't have adequate capital that will be sufficient to invest in the system to enable me earn some Bitcoin but I don't know if there is any possible alternative in regard to earning Bitcoin without capital expenditure.
If you don't have capital to buy bitcoin, then you have to offer something, either your skill, knowledge, time, etc, bitcoin is money and there is no free money anywhere. Mind you that you don't have to buy bitcoin with a lump sum, you can and i advice that you should use the DCA method of accumulating bitcoin and if you don't have money at all, then focus on improving your skills and knowledge of the crypto industry and use it to earn bitcoins working for bitcoin companies/corporations.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Helpful approach of impossible seed phrase screenshoting on: June 24, 2024, 04:54:59 PM
Then ideally it is assumed that wallets that prevents users to make screenshots are reputable wallets which are concerned of their users funds safety while those that allows screenshots are poroused networking whose obligations are not on their network users funds safeness.
This not correct, though i suggest that good wallets that still allow their users to take screenshots of their seed phrase should prevent it, the warning to not disclose it, or to only write it down is no longer enough for some naive people. But i know that this is not the prerequisite to identify a good wallet. Just as Zaguru12 said, Bluewallet is a very good wallet that so many bitcoiners use, but they allow their users to take screenshots of their seed phrase, thus if you are judging it under your critieria, it will pass for a bad wallet, which it isn't.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soldiers using gambling to cope with stress. on: June 24, 2024, 02:41:37 PM
Now, do you think soldiers who have left home for a long time and are going through boredom should be restricted from engaging in gambling which helps reduce their stress? If gambling does not have any effect on their performance on the waterfront and they gamble responsibly, do you think there should be restrictions?
An interesting topic you have here, with an added historical event. It is pretty hard to choose what is correct here, the soldiers need something to help them temporarily disconnect from the horrors of the war, and i am pretty sure gambling isn't the only tool they are using. So why is gambling the only target then, they'd prolly go on a banning spree if they decide to ban most things that help the soldiers disconnect from the war temporarily.

I get it that their commanders want them to focus completely on the war, but is that possible? They need distractions and they can control/regulate their gambling activities, but a complete ban doesn't sit right with me.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigeria Premier League/Players Discussion Thread on: June 23, 2024, 09:51:36 PM
I don't give double F#cks about Nigeria honestly. They don't even have a fine style of football to play. Another thing, they should stick with grassroot players and then add two to three top players who fits into the squad.
You're a Nigerian, so what do you mean by you don't give two fucks about Nigeria, and i have nothing to say anymore about your views on the Osimhen v Finidi's case, because you've refused to see reasons which are so glaring.

That being said, if we get a good coach this time around, our style of play will improve, and there is no way we can stick to local players with only an addition of two to three players plying their trade abroad, we have so much quality away from home, thus the home based players will always make up the minority.
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa America 2024 Prediction Thread on: June 23, 2024, 08:59:34 PM
I was looking for a thread for Copa America and I am glad I found it. Unfortunately the hype around Copa America is not the same as the Euro. Is this because in Copa America have only a few big teams? Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chille these are only a few I have in mind.
I'd add Columbia to the list, they are a good team as well. You are correct that there is more hype around the Euros than the Copa America, apart from having better and more popular teams, another reason is European football has a better PR, and i am pretty sure more people want to watch the Euros than the Copa America.

If the two tournaments were not going on simultaneously and if it is only the Copa America, then there would have been better hype around it, but as things stand, the Euros just has to swallow it.
