Hello, I have 4x rx 580 sapphire PULSE(I bought it for good price ) Just start to mining RVN coin and I have very low hashrate - 5.493MH/s it should be around 7/8mh/s Core Clock - 1366 Mem Clock - 2000 Whent I tried higher setting I get 3.6mh/s try below Leave it at stock setting all but the fan speed .... Raven mining seems to work best at stock setting the more you over clock the worse it seems to get, so i leave all my cards at stock setting an hit 7/8 mh I'd mine eth or xmr with AMD cards you make more per day .. NV cards do well Raven mining i make 12 bucks a day steady with five NV cards over what i make with 5 amd cards. I make more mining eth and Xmr with AMD cards ..

Would love a version of this in graphical form. Im a noob with this command line stuff. Incidentally I have a no devfee D3 bios where you can reduce noise and watts if anyone wants it.
Agreed. I liked Blissz's version better. Yes, it has a fee and I understand the controversy there but it's as easy to use as the stock browser interface. Many say that blissz is committing a crime or a civil tort. So if you use his software you could be involved in a punitive lawsuit. While you may like it why not pay some coin to this person to get a legal GUI NOT sure if this applies and is completely OPEN SOURCE and NO $$$ are involved...just saying... I believe 2 parties can modify whatever the hell they want...if they don't use the Bitmain software (make their own that does something similar from scratch) and want to void the warranty (in our case most L3+'s are past the 6 month date... and again the NO profit aspect of this mod... anyway, better minds then me know...but how I've always seen it done....or heard about such things.. I would gladly pay (donate to) jstefanop after a GUI is developed. I find Linux coding annoying and would love a low/no-fee, community approved, user friendly alternative to BlissZ or stock. Then Donate now and jstefanop will, he did with the Alchemist miner and charged a one time fee .. it was reason able and this should be even lower because all he has to do is write the code . i wonder what he can get out of these miners this far down the road hash wise . IN fact i donated the other day when i saw jstefanopis writing something for the L3's i know hell do it right . ...... Ive got my two L3 running now without using BlissZ clocked at 450 with the voltage set at 450 ./set_voltage 1 c0 ./set_voltage 2 d0 ./set_voltage 3 d0 ./set_voltage 4 b0 got it to about 1 hw error a hour doing that . I don't like using BlissZ firmware because of the fee it's annoying knowing some one is sucking off me when I would pay BlissZ a one time fee per miner for a no fee version but his greed won't let him some have all ready asked BlissZ an he ignored them . an before anyone tiries "the don't use it" EXCUSE, i don't use BlissZ firmware ,I"M running stock firmware , i tried BlissZ firmware to see what all the benefit is which is not much other then you have more control over you miners .. so i stopped using it and hoped some one else would come up with some thing .

Mining Raven coin i make 12 $ a day with five NV cards 1 1080 , two 1070 ti one 1070 and one 1060 6gb at stock setting haven't bothered over clock yet mining raven coins if you even can with good results . Mining ETH i make with 2 rigs one has five cards and one has four 13 bucks between the two add in 2 L3 + and two d3 I making about 34 a day , but i also have solar so i can afford to run it all. I didn't add in my BTC Miners with them i can Make close to 50 a day but then I have heat issue i need to deal with better .. in time it will all pick back up maybe not like it was but close by that i mean next time it might last longer but go very slow and be more stable like btc are doing now. ASIC won't kill off GPU mining, there gonna fork a lot of the Zec coins i saw in a post even if the DEV of Zec disagrees , so Zec should go up ..... not sure yet how Eth is gonna deal with it, if at all . SO mine now an hold .............. an i warned a year back, one day ASIC would do this and was told no way if you throw enough money at some one they will find a way or some thing becomes worth the risk it would or will happen. it seems memory doesn't cost as much as they claim to make, it's all BS if you believe what they tell you the bottom line is all ways about Greed and what they can fuck us for . GPU mining will be just like it was before, some one will figure out a way to GPU mine they won't let it die . why would we with the new cards coming out things will pick back up, i hope it goes slower this time . one day GPU's will catch up with ASIC but still be resell able and don't think it can't happen ... it can ..

Vosk, one point I'd like to see you mention is that the ASICs coming out now separate the haves from have-nots. Its impossible to get GPUs at retail price, and the people who can, have inside connections. I don't think its a surprise that Bitmain is suddenly releasing all of these ASICs now that gpus are scarce and expensive. At least these antminers allow anyone to get involved in mining, not just people who happened to be lucky enough to buy mass amounts of GPUs when they were 300 bucks each. Lets also not forget about the lack of innovation from Nvidia and AMD. AMD gpus underperform and cost too much. Nvidia refuses to even release new models because there are no competition. The 10 series is 2 years old. Kind of ridiculous that people insist on using old technology in the name of decentralization.
I guess it depends on were you live i just bought a 570 AMD 4gb for 309 after rebate paid 329 on sell and i don't have any inside connections new egg has a few selling for 339$ or more 570 and 580.... my bad 8gb https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137291 mine had a 20 $ rebate and it was on sell . .

has anyone attempted to run a 741 in a chain with a few 841s?
does the firmware make this impossible? I seemed to recall people mixing 6s/7s
thanks
I would use a second PI , i couldn't get my A6 or A7 to work to gather because of the cable form the miner to the AUC @ the miner end on the 741 the plug is bigger then the one for the A6 miner end if you can make a plug to either the A7 or A6 miner end form either miner that might work or try a USB HUB then plug that it into one PI with Custom software like Minera that might work . or edit one of the Avalon images to work with both a A6 and A7 and use a USB HUB that way but i that may not work well because of Avalon's software but should with minera or the black screen for CGminer running UBUNTU 16 . I run my A6 and A 7 with Minera https://getminera.com/ but not on the same controller i use two PI's that are not RPI and compile Ccminer 4.10 to run with both on two controllers , and haven't tired with a USB Powered HUB On the same controller .

The reset button on the V9's I have dont do anything. I can hold them down for over a mintue and still no beep. I formatted an SD card with FAT32 and copied the firmware files bitmain posted for the V9 Miner onto the SD card. I then inserted the SD card into the miner and turned it on. The fans started spinning at max and now both the red and green led are staying on. Ethernet light is flashing but nothing is showing up on my router. Any ideads?
you may not have incorrectly configured the static IP address address i had a V9 the Controller went up after i tried to set the static IP address a few others in this post a few pages back had the same problem, i had to get the V9 replaced. the two i have now work great on a static IP. it doesn't happen to everyone,I believe it's the same controller used on the S9 an T 9 .. I Know for sure it is not the same controller used on the L3+ AND D3 ... Moderator's note: This post was edited by frodocooper to remove nested quotes.

hey HagssFIN
the one you sold me wroks great i use a ticker board PI as the controller running Minera .
with the below settings .
--lowmem --avalon7-fan 10-100 --avalon7-freq 600 636 672 708 744
using Minera .

I've had mine for around 8 months and it took me a little over 2 months to get my money back. How is that possible? at one time you could make close to 40 a day with one miner then it went down to 20 and when they first came out i think it was even more .

If I can't sell them at the price I'm asking for then I'll just keep mining with them until I can, they're worth more than what bitmain is selling them for, and when the price of bitcoin goes back up they'll be plenty profitable.
If you're not interested, move along, thanks.
I agree fully once the price of btc goes up so will profits even from older gear that's why i buy cheap now an so will the gear old or used an if you have solar, some one else pays your power bill i hate using the word free for that , or cheap power it shouldn't matter much now . I'm lucky i have solar and running old or used gear i bought last month. an looking to buy another L3 plus might buy a coupon then buy it . got any coupon for sell ..

I'll take one 200 dollar coupon

Hey another request, this time im being lazy not about to look though 286 pages here sadly so yell at me if you must . here goes can you add https://prohashing.com to the Pool balance list it works a lot like mining pool hub does with API key's but only uses two ports to get to get to it that i know of, not sure if that makes it a issue . prohashing.com:3333 proxy.prohashing.com:443

I know this is a crazy question, but can anyone let me know if this device supports the cgminer API set like the S9 does?
Cheers.
Yea it does . it use CGminer as the soft ware miner .

not if i can help it... (Solar Power/Grid Tie FTW)
Same they turned my solar on today .after two months of waiting after it was installed i was so happy i had used 8 bucks so far for the day usages once it was turned on that dropped down to 6 bucks, i also use this http://www.theenergydetective.com/ Ted Pro home it actually works and keep good track of min to min to hour to hour as i use it etc ,,, lets me know the second I'm back using the power company worth the 300 bucks it cost when i bought it i think it sells for more now ..

Yesterday the ethereum EIP guys started having much more serious technical discussions about a hard fork. Maybe this scared Bitmain a little and they released this lame miner to take the pressure off and try to avoid a hard fork. They probably already have a way more powerful version in the works and are mining with this already given the doubling in hashrate over the past two months.
Also dont forget.....Halong, Baikal and others will be releasing their versions soon.....just like Cryptonight.
Hark Fork is best solution to kill asics, allow decentralization and reduce risk from mostly one company.
More importantly, we need miners to embrace Ethereum and support it....thus building community. It should not be underestimated how big of a role that miners play in the success and the popularity of Ethereum. Miners play a big role in public relations and building community and the ultimate success of Ethereum. Dont scare them away by only allowing the big boys to play with massive Asic mining factories.
I hope so they can hand butmain there assess for once ......I'll still ASIC mine but won't mine till the used miners sell cheap unless it's cheap LTC or BTC new miners,I'll buy them new but not the GPU killers,I'll buy them used an ...I'll keep building GPU rigs as long as i can ....
