Annoys me when people don't know how to use the word "literally".

Not nearly as annoying as this recent fad of people using phrases like Ad Hominem and Fallacy constantly in order to make themselves sound clever but using it in completely the wrong context, thank fuck it's nearly over.

If Venezuela was really as bad as you say, the people would have emigrated a long time ago like the Syrians are doing. It may be a poor country but even poor African countries are not as hungry as that.

By the way people, this is what legit refugees look like not the migrants swarming Europe purely to go to countries with great welfare benefits.

.....

You want to prove to me that muslims are good? THEN GO WIPE OUT ISIS..

I want no but but but stupid excuses.. We are about ready to wipe them out from across the world and you fucks wont even wipe them out in your own back yards..

For me this just about sums it up.

Even Bill Maher made this point using simple numbers, the surrounding nations in the middle east totally outnumber ISIS and would defeat them in seconds if they all went in at once. Do they do it though? No, they make up bullshit and claim they're too powerful or elusive and ask for America's help.
24  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam and stereotypes on: August 14, 2016, 12:39:41 PM
Hirose, you're full of shit, like all Muslims you nitpick at quotes and keep out the full context of the Qu'ran in order to make it seem more moderate.

Quote
Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing...
but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun(the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)" (Translation is from the Noble Quran) The verse prior to this (190) refers to "fighting for the cause of Allah those who fight you" leading some to believe that the entire passage refers to a defensive war in which Muslims are defending their homes and families. The historical context of this passage is not defensive warfare, however, since Muhammad and his Muslims had just relocated to Medina and were not under attack by their Meccan adversaries. In fact, the verses urge offensive warfare, in that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of their own city (which they later did). Verse 190 thus means to fight those who offer resistance to Allah's rule (ie. Muslim conquest). The use of the word "persecution" by some Muslim translators is disingenuous (the actual Arabic words for persecution - "idtihad" - and oppression - a variation of "z-l-m" - do not appear in the verse). The word used instead, "fitna", can mean disbelief, or the disorder that results from unbelief or temptation. This is certainly what is meant in this context since the violence is explicitly commissioned "until religion is for Allah" - ie. unbelievers desist in their unbelief.

And this was just a fucking paragraph! Your religion and texts are literally stating that being a non-believer is worse than being a murderer.

Quote
Quran (3:56) - "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."

I enjoy this particular little bit directly telling people to punish those who reject Islam but really there's hundreds of quotes like these in the Qu'ran.
25  Other / Meta / Re: Everyone keeps saying people are a "Paid Shill", is there any truth to this? on: August 14, 2016, 09:05:28 AM
There certainly are shills out there, you can tell them by the places but as others will likely say sometimes they can be just be speculators ( also nicknamed 'bagholders' ) who have an ulterior motive because they've lost out on their investments and are looking to try and get out by getting other people to bump up prices for them, they're pretty easy to spot though and aren't very subtle.

I will say though the OP brings up a decent point, people may have noticed I'm not posting as much on this forum as I used to and I was wondering why myself lately and I just realised it's because people have been getting very hostile lately. I'm not talking about politics or any of that shit, I actually enjoy chatting there still, however when it comes to discussing anything to do Bitcoin itself, investments or any other kind of services there is a huge amount of shit posting.

Sometimes it's newbies who are just hostile little cunts generally and often turn out to be scammers but also I've seen longer term members here who should know better than to throw accusations at people especially the ones who have been here far longer than them. It makes things very unpleasant around here and I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to have to put fingerpointing twats like this on the ignore list the same way I put stalkers, anti-semites and Muslim supporters all on the list as well because it's the only way to make the board pleasant again.

I think the biggest irony of these types of posters I've seen lately are the ones who go around accusing others of shilling and so on and they have negative trust on their accounts and are known scammers. Or better yet they go around claiming that other sites are scams and then post even more dodgy looking ones as recommendations you see this all the fucking time when there are newbies asking about investment.

The thing as well is, after doing research and I mean some real research into all the maths and such behind investing, I'm starting to wonder if a lot of people screaming about scams and shills actually have no fucking clue of what they're talking about and are just pissed that their $500 investment isn't giving them any decent return. Granted, there are a lot of scams in cryptocurrencies because it's so easy, however even in real investing speculators realistically need at least $2000 to make any kind of decent income.

When you're looking at dividends as well that number is going even higher, so like I said, it makes me wonder, especially when it comes to mining and you have people putting in only $10 and then screaming about what a scam it all is.
26  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam and stereotypes on: August 14, 2016, 08:50:44 AM
All the stereotypes here thinks that Islam only orders to kill ..but let me tell you Islam Gave rights to women and gave every human being their rights to live and right to make property and rights of the neighbours ............Islam is here for the previous 1400 years and Islamic terriosm Only started After United States started to Invade Muslim Countries ? Whats your take on this
I totally agree with you, Islam is not the thing, which most people think is it. Terrorism has nothing to do with religion. We don't consider Christianity as terrorism, nevertheless they did the Crusades..

And again you fall back on "But Christians did it too!" don't you realise how pathetic that kind of thing makes you look? How about, I don't know.... Perhaps saying that Sharia law is a bad thing and that Islam should work to stop abusing peoples' human rights?

Or would that be too fucking hard for you?
27  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam and stereotypes on: August 14, 2016, 08:00:36 AM
The problem is the crusades were 100's of years ago when the human race was less evolved.

Islam is a pain in the ass right now world wide.

What pisses me off is the complete lack of integration, trying to impose Sharia wherever they go, recent raping spree etc.

you are completely right . islamic terrorisim is the biggest problem of the world currently not islamic religious . Muslim people must integrate in the western countiries where they immigrated. they can pray freely there without forcing western countries to become a islamic state.

I think one of the reasons that Muslims come here trying to impose Sharia despite claiming to 'hate' people like ISIS is they're trying to pick and choose what laws they follow. Most Muslims are pretty much advocating a version of Sharia Lite. So they still want gays and women to be treated like shit, they still want to have all sorts of bullshit rules like not being able to insult the prophet mohammed they just don't want to go along with the more literal interpretations of the Qu'ran that ISIS follows.

In short, they're a bunch of hypocrites and I'm sick of them trying to play the victim whenever someone calls them out on their bullshit, I've genuinely stopped caring about being called a 'Racist' or 'Islamaphobe' in regards to Islam now, at least I'm not the one openly supporting a fucking cult.
28  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam and stereotypes on: August 12, 2016, 09:43:05 PM
I love how when Muslims try to defend their religion now they seem to have nothing more to say than "But Christians do it too!" as if that's some sort of argument, fuck off, you're not above criticism and you're certainly not invincible no matter how fanatical you are, you're going to start learning that the hard way.
29  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Theresa May says Article 50 will NOT be triggered this year on: August 09, 2016, 11:53:02 PM
This was to be expected. Wasn't just her. Most of her colleagues wanted the same thing.

This is the problem, only a few MPs in the Conservative party and UKIP genuinely wanted to leave and I expect that these remain loyalists are going to have to be dragged kicking and screaming because otherwise they'll postpone it as long as they can, it will be like watching American politicians deal with the debt ceiling, constantly saying it's the end of it and then raising the bar every couple of years. The same thing will happen with Brexit this time and they won't leave unless they're forced to get the country out.

http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/698176/Theresa-May-Article-fifty-Brexit-not-triggered-this-year-referendum

Son of a bitch, I was willing to gve Theresa May a chance because I don't like to jump to conclusions based on first impressions or political allegiances if I can help it but that really pissed me off. This is one of the first times in politics I have been very active and it seems the remain side is doing everything it can to undermine the democratic vote. If this idiotic woman gets her way she will end up dragging down the UK and it will actually be affected by the Brexit because it will be in a limbo between the EU and the rest of the world.

For those outside, this means, we don't get article 50 initiated this year, so that means it will take longer to leave the EU and this means it will be more difficult to get trade deals conducted outside the EU with other countries and the EU can screw us even more because we are still technically a member state.

Gahhhh what a bitch, Labour was bad enough, but now we've go the Conservatives to contend with, thank fuck Labour are too busy fighting amongst themselves otherwise they might have actually supported her.

Incidentally, there's a petition to initiate article 50 that's cropped up on the government website, I signed it myself.

32  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bible-bombing: Swedish church to barrage ISIS areas with word of God on: August 07, 2016, 04:51:23 PM
Rather than barrage the ISIS areas with bibles, the church should drop gay porn DVDs. It will have better results.

That would actually be the funniest thing ever, especially if they couldn't do anything about it, the rage would be hilarious and everyone would realise what a bunch of fanatical idiots they all are, getting angry over a fucking porn dvd being dropped on them.
33  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The pointlessness of terrorism on: August 06, 2016, 03:11:12 PM
I have thought long and hard about this, believe me and the best conclusion I can come up with is that so long as there are religious texts and teachings within religion that declare violence in general and violence or persecution towards certain types or groups of people is acceptable fanatics and terrorists will always be able to justify their existence and we will never get rid of them.

It's because the so called moderates have the same beliefs at fanatics that these types of groups can run rampant especially in their neighbourhoods, they support them either actively or passively by having these violent beliefs and that's why it will always be a problem.
34  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America and Israel ???? Global Conspiracy on: August 06, 2016, 03:08:40 PM
The Israelis are simply trying to retain the land that belonged to their ancestors according to history. The Palestinians are the ones who should stop attacking and give them some space - literaly.
Oh really ......The place where you live belongs to me and now you have to vocate it ..............its not fair at alll killing of innocent Muslims is not justification at all

As usual it's people with middle eastern names trying to make Muslims out to be the victims, those missiles from Palestine don't launch themselves so cut the bullshit and let's face it, in Palestine the civilians are openly supportive of groups like Hamas, it's not like they aren't complicit in helping these people keep power.
35  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Brexit impact on economy, house prices, markets and politics on: August 05, 2016, 12:15:49 PM
I'm getting tired of hearing about the brexit. Hey, that hasn't happened yet. Nothing has changed so far (well, except the ministers). That article 50 which is the first step of the process, it hasn't been used yet, and we don't even know if the thing is going to start this year.

If they're going to be respecting the vote it's supposed to be implemented this year but I'm getting awfully pissed at these anti-democratic cunts who are deliberately searching for anything to stop the result from taking place. Labour are even trying to re-assert themselves so they can get elected and if they do they seem to be saying that they will try to have a second referendum which is utterly ridiculous, they just want to re-take the referendum to get the results they want rather than accept the vote.
36  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Brexit impact on economy, house prices, markets and politics on: August 04, 2016, 08:46:44 PM
I'm British and I can tell you that housing prices in particular in this country have been artificially propped up by the central bank itself, it's a mixture of reckless lending on their part and money printing that have caused this problem, not Brexit. As far as I'm concerned Brexit will be the convenient scapegoat for anything that goes wrong with the economy from now on. I also find it very funny that the media were trying to act when this news came along that housing prices falling were somehow a bad thing for first time buyers which shows just how little of a grasp they have on reality.

As for the rest of the economy, so long as Theresa May doesn't fuck around when activating Article 50 ( Which is a system that was set in place if the UK ever decided to leave the EU ) then we'll be absolutely fine because there are about 26 countries that have said they want a trade deal with us. All this scaremongering you guys see especially from news sources like the guardian and the BBC is from people who were very pro-remain, almost fanatically so and they just can't take it that they lost the vote so they need to keep these scary stories up to try and stall the process as much as possible.

Quite a number of cunts over here decided to actually protest against the referendum result ( Yes that's right, a democratic referendum, they were against it ) and the house of lords along with a couple of thousand lawyers are all trying to claim the MPs should vote it down despite what the vote actually said. I am hoping that these people are just in a petty minority but unfortunately I know my country well and I really wouldn't put it past some of these fuckers to try something.

The last time i got an email from one of the support team, i was told that the problem is not from their end since, i can log into to one of the wordpress site which is currently hosted with them.

If you're getting screwed around by your support staff when it comes to webhosting, dump them immediately, chances are they're either resellers who don't have access to their own servers if people have never heard of them or some incompetent operation with argumentative wankers that are just out for your money and don't want to do anything to fix your issues. I had a very similar problem with you awhile back when using Synweb Hosting and they even came onto this forum to try and argue about it, trust me, you'll be far better off if you just look for another provider. You shouldn't necessarily go for cheap because of this since if people are getting paid even a little more than the cheapest prices they'll be more inclined to look after you better especially since they'll be paying for better support staff.

When I ditched my webhost, it was the best thing I ever did, I'm now a perfectly reasonable one and I have had very few problems since, any time I had an issue or two they would immediately fix it without fucking me around. You're going to be wasting a lot of your time especially if you're trying to set up a business by sticking with argumentative twats who won't do what you ask.
