There are dumbasses in every group but why exactly did you feel the need to group these people in particular all together? What's so dumb about wanting to keep innocent people out of jail and prevent some real discrimination issues?
762  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Femen protesters 'kicked during scuffles' at Muslim conference about women on: September 15, 2015, 08:47:36 PM
I find this pretty funny because feminists in particular when it comes to those on the left are so quick to ignore anything that goes on in Islam but will constantly attack the west and rant about male 'privilege' when they're the most privileged motherfuckers on the whole planet.

You know, looking at the video again, it looks like "white tshirt boy" is the main kicker, and several guys come up from behind him and restrain him.  The first time I watched it it looked like they were all kicking her.  But watch the feet, then it becomes clearer.

Meh, I'm just looking forward to seeing these morons tear each other apart, the left and islam for some reason have been very long term allies, it will be interesting to watch this unfold.

That'd be a dumb idea lol especially if they end up trying to hide "OH LOOK! I'M HERE AND ABOUT TO GET ATTACKED!" Tongue

Sorry, guys, I'm slow to respond this week because I've caught a cold and I'm on various drugs right now and LOL Nobitcoin I didn't mean that as a pun Tongue

Unfortunately I think there will be more misuse of this than actual proper use. Nice idea in theory but I don't think it'll work very well.

This is what I think DMX, it would be nice if somebody could take a look at the features so this guy can understand where I'm coming from, to be honest though I think even I could fuck with this because all I'd need to do is make a false recording and send out an alert that ends up screwing with people.

I hadn't known there was another one Vod but anyway that's why I knew you were the guys to talk to about this.

Hey guys, I hang out on Reddit ( as you may or may not know already ) and I came across this guy who was posting up an app he was apparently working on himself. It's an app that's supposed to be used in an emergency to make recordings of fights or whatnot if somebody is getting assaulted or abused and it will get your GPS location and transmit it to other nearby users. The thing is though, even as a nice idea and even with my limited knowledge of security I feel like there are way too many holes in it and ways this can be messed with and that's not including the idea of posting up fake recordings to cause hysteria amongst the users.

So I was wondering who I knew that would be able to take a look at this stuff and immediately thought of you lot since you often mess around with this kind of thing, I remember when you were all trying to break 1broker.com. If you're interested it might be a nice thing to do for the guy and I'll link this post to him so he can give you some targets to try and break the app perhaps, let me know what you think of it.

For the record, the original post I'm talking about was put up on the MRA subreddit here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/3kyxz7/withu_better_than_good2go_and_weconsent/cv1pwsg?context=3

Love you you went off to rant about something completely unrelated, oh well.
768  Other / Off-topic / Re: Microsoft downloads Windows 10 on user machines without asking on: September 12, 2015, 02:44:26 PM
And this is why I always disable automatic updates.
Well this is all good until a critical vulnerability is found and you miss out on the patch. This is why manually updating is probably the best of both worlds. Someone should keep a list of which updates should be avoided to make it easier for everyone. If someone knows what updates should be avoided, please post them here (as the article doesn't state exactly which).

Well that's why I check for things manually, like with the Bitcoin wallet, I'm keeping an eye on how that's going to turn out and which update to grab, I can make a better judgement than some company trying to automatically install junk on my PC so it makes them more money. Anyone remember when they tried to put a DRM update in? I put my updates on manual when installing the new OS and double checked on the internet which code it was, made sure that piece of shit never made it to my PC.

Yes today's kids are living their lives on the internet. They have to get out more, do some sport activities and socialize with other kids. The internet and the technology are very useful but their usage should have a limit.

When you live in a chav infested shit hole that isn't really an option for people like me Tongue
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today, Mark Karpeles learns how to spell "EMBEZZLEMENT" on: September 11, 2015, 08:52:36 PM
I know that they've been taking their time with this, but you've gotta have respect for the Japanese, at least they're actually doing something about him, because most government employees in other countries barely even touch a computer anyone else would just ignore it and hope it goes away.
772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stress test is underway - Watch your fees. on: September 10, 2015, 11:32:10 PM
If we get global adoption this will be the norm.  So what's the issue?

It's called a stress test for a reason, it's designed to test out whether the network could even handle this many transactions at once and what should be done with it. Since it's a very scientific thing to do to try and break the blockchain like this hopefully it will help stop the bickering among the developers and let them find a proper solution to the blockchain size issue.

Thanks for the warning OP!
773  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will this generation be takenover by technology? on: September 10, 2015, 11:22:01 PM
The problem isn't technology or any of that bullshit it's that children aren't taught how to question what they read, that's why they're growing up believing in tons of bullshit their teachers or professors manipulated them into believing rather than letting them study and learn from multiple sources and they're not being taught in different ways.
774  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mother allegedly trafficked daughter to drug dealer for heroin on: September 09, 2015, 09:07:48 PM
Wow, that's one of the sickest things a parent could do to their offspring. However, this is the drug war in action. The woman can't afford the heroin because the illegal market drives the prices up so the addict either has to steal, prostitute themselves, or in this, case abuse their own daughter to get high. If heroin was legal, it's price would be similar to that of tylenol or aspirin and then the addict can get all they need and not abuse anyone else to fulfill their habit. Both of these conspirators should be locked up til death. And, God help this daughter have some sort of normal life down the line but my guess is she won't be able to.

I agree with you to an extent, but I don't think you can blame prohibition for this. Prohibition is not an excuse for enabling the rape of your child. Full blame rests with the woman, regardless of whether drugs should or should not be legal. It's just so terrible to think about the betrayal that child must feel.

Lets be honest though, if drugs like this were legal then she would be forced to get them from properly registered places and if she were trying to do really dodgy shit with her daughter it could be reported to the police.
775  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does anyone think Kim Davis is right? on: September 09, 2015, 03:50:10 PM
The simple fact is she is not a staff member in a church and was a staff member of the U.S federal government, who had decided that gay marriage was now legal, she went against that. On my personal beliefs I think anybody who tries to actively block gay marriage are turdbags, if you want to be a homophobe in your own private companies and organisations fine, but in public? No, this is just another in the long list of groups that keep trying to subvert laws designed to protect equality for their own ends.
776  Other / Politics & Society / Re: So much for trying to bring philosophy to the public on: September 08, 2015, 06:56:13 PM
It's a constant problem in universities now, dissent is always crushed, no matter what form it is, I might not agree with this particular guy because I think our population is exploding and we shouldn't be bringing kids into this world unless we can afford it. However you have people who simply talk about free speech and expression and perfectly sane people like this feminist called Christina Hoff Sommers who you may have heard about who are talking about perfectly rational things and then actually being attacked for it.

Universities now seem to be nothing more than recruitment and propaganda stations for various political ideologies instead of any real place of learning and debate.

778  Economy / Economics / Re: can gold be a short-term investment ? on: September 07, 2015, 03:58:13 AM
Precious metals are definitely long term you should also use them as an inflation hedge to protect yourself in a crisis, if paper money ends you'll want to have a stash of silver to trade with.
Well, if paper money ends that would basically mean tons of purchasing power flowing into Bitcoin and metals, so anyone holding a decent amount would automatically be rich, you would be able to choose what to use to trade with at that point.

That's my plan ^_^
