701  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-10-13] Best selling author & MSNBC star rants against Bitcoin ∙ IHB News™ on: October 14, 2015, 09:18:48 AM
I always love stupid people, but I think stupid people who are incredibly arrogant and proud of their stupidity are the best because they're the biggest fuck ups who will find all sorts of ways to mess up their lives.
702  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-10-13]yahoo finance : Gaming Giant G2A Now Accepts bitcoin on: October 14, 2015, 08:30:48 AM
Steam is the one everyone is waiting for. I wonder whether they'll pull their finger out any time in the near future.

It would be absolutely huge if they did, but I doubt it Gabe just doesn't seem to care about Bitcoin, the biggest companies are always the slowest to adopt this kind of thing.
703  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-10-13]yahoo finance : Gaming Giant G2A Now Accepts bitcoin on: October 13, 2015, 06:47:38 PM
This better not be a bait article or anything, if so that's pretty fucking awesome, it's about time Bitcoin started entering the gamer market, also, bye bye stupid European VAT tax hahahahahahahahahahhhhh!!!!
704  Other / Politics & Society / Re: China asks world to impose 'code of conduct' on Internet on: October 13, 2015, 04:54:10 PM
Amazing really, the propagandists and spammers are out in force lately on this forum.
705  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fallout 4 on: October 13, 2015, 03:38:11 PM
i even bought a new pc for that game for about 1500,- USD  Grin  (and for the next Deus Ex)

the SPECIAL Videos were very lovely  Cheesy

did you buy the Collectors Edition Lethn? i had no chance  Cry

I didn't even bother because I knew they'd be sold out within five seconds, I just want the game anyway, I think the pip-boy is just pretty much a nice looking plastic placeholder for your phone but that's about it Tongue it's not really going to add or take away anything from the experience that much, I don't really bother with collectors' editions.

Also, I can totally understand buying a new computer for the game, this kind of stuff is precisely why I decided to finally upgrade because I didn't want it to be an unpleasant experience when I loaded it all up.
706  Other / Off-topic / Fallout 4 on: October 13, 2015, 10:56:07 AM
3 weeks and 6 days to go, so who here is absolutely desperate to play the game now? Tongue And yes, I'm counting.

They recently released the intelligence trailer in a mini series they're doing now lol Sad

707  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Turkey Arrests Dozens Over ISIS Links on: October 12, 2015, 03:02:38 PM
a lot of people were saying that turkey is also responsible for the creation of ISIS .. seems not

Turkish government and Erdogan support ISIS. They arrest other groups, not ISIS. You can't see the truth in news.

They may not be responsible for the creation of it, but they certainly aren't trying to fight it and benefit from their presence in the region, the turks have done very little to directly engage with ISIS, they only time they've genuinely responded is against Kurdish militants.
708  Other / Meta / Re: People digging old threads for their crappy posts. on: October 12, 2015, 07:52:07 AM
Pretty much what Lauda said, I remember awhile back there was an absolute wave of spammers trying to target old posts to bump and make it look like they were just contributing to the discussion but they were giving such generic responses it was easy to tell them apart. If they're just generic "Yes, I agree" posts and so on you can just report them, they add nothing to the discussion I think that some people even try to make more convincing posts too but they abuse it too much and you get several topics from a few months back being bumped up and it's really obvious what they're doing so I just report them after that.

You don't need to worry about getting people like this banned, they're just obnoxious spammers trying to fake being real members. I think there are also certain users who are trying to make generic topics about what sort of food people like and so on in off topic but really with that kind of thing you can only wait and see how far they push their luck.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: October 12, 2015, 03:35:14 AM
Considering I've been intelligent and bought and will continue to stash up coins at the lows no I don't consider it the worst decision of my life, the problem is so many idiots went and bought into the rise without first waiting to see what would happen and if it would stabalise.

Now all your profits are belong to me Smiley
710  Other / Off-topic / Re: Time for a CPU upgrade, is 2011 worth it? on: October 11, 2015, 09:39:57 AM
Longer than 2 years? Sure, I'd say any modern CPU is worth the upgrade, It was about 5 years before I upgraded my PC finally, I'm going to do it sooner next time.

And LOL LiteCoinGuy I know exactly how you feel, I was sick of having an underpowered and laggy PC so I bought an 8 core AMD CPU 4.0ghz, it's doing very well with all modern games so Fallout 4 should be a breeze. The one thing I will say is the CPU is very vital to having a smooth PC, better to have too much CPU processing power than too little and then upgrade your card later which is easier because you shouldn't need a new motherboard.

Oh and I don't know how much experience the OP has in building computers but for everybody else WHEN BUYING A NEW CPU DO NOT PUT ANY THERMAL PASTE ON IT! THEY SHIP THE CPU WITH THERMAL PASTE ALREADY APPLIED! JUST PLACE IT IN BY ITSELF! IF YOU EVER NEED TO APPLY THERMAL PASTE ONLY PUT A VERY SMALL AMOUNT ON THE CPU!

I had an absolute disaster trying to put on my CPU by myself a second time when I wanted to replace the cooling fan so I just thought I'd point that out lol.
711  Other / Meta / Re: Anmol_Verma making very low quality posts on: October 11, 2015, 09:25:32 AM
the post you quoted might just be that the user is new and doesnt even know that much about bitcoin, hence he doesnt know the rules of the forum about spamming either.

Ignorance is not an excuse; a ban might be a great way for him to find out.
I do get irritated when accounts make 20 spammy posts for payment every day.

There's been quite a number of them lately and I'll be honest, codishmumu is another blatant abuser along with PrinceOfTea they keep making spammy posts instead of containing it all within one thread, PrinceOfTea writes like a lunatic and codishmumu keeps on making lots of self-moderated posts, presumably so she/he can delete any criticism of what they're spamming.

I wonder if they're not all the same people and the person behind it is trying to bump post counts for easy Bitcoin.
712  Other / Meta / Re: STOP SUPPORTING CRIMINALS AND SCAMMERS on: October 11, 2015, 05:26:30 AM

tldr:
Op tries moneypot, discovers game is rigged after losing $25
OP not happy

Nice find, I always thought something was very suspicious when these annoying newbies show up making demands of everybody.
713  Other / Meta / Re: STOP SUPPORTING CRIMINALS AND SCAMMERS on: October 10, 2015, 06:21:24 PM
Nobody is ignoring it, in fact everybody here who has been here before you has been consistently warning about scammers and ponzi schemes since Bitcoin became more known and advertised to the public. No, people like you need to stop coming in here and trying to run the show, many people here are free market advocates regardless of political affiliation and care a great deal about freedom of speech and expression.

So in English that means regardless of your personal feelings on the matter no we shouldn't go around rabidly banning and stamping down on what people are posting up, we can't prevent stupid people from throwing their money away to begin with because they're stupid, they'll ignore any advice given, so for fucks sake like I've said to so many people before you keep your arrogant and protectionist attitude to yourself.
714  Other / Off-topic / Re: What color is this multiple-killing killer's hand? (with POLL) on: October 10, 2015, 10:55:01 AM
You guys are really grasping at straws or you're colour blind, there haven't been alterations to the photographs, the only difference between the left and right side is the blurriness and the size of the hand because at that point it's closer. How do I know? Because I know photoshop and 3D modelling/effects better than most of you, you're going to have to do better than that, not everything is a 'false flag' which seems to be everyone's favourite buzz word of the year now.

I will say though that whenever these shootings happen you always have gun control advocates rushing out in droves, while it's not a false flag people are taking advantage of events like this.
715  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Top 5 Ways Jon Stewart Was Full of Sh*t on: October 09, 2015, 11:04:09 PM
I don't agree with Bill Maher on a lot of stuff especially with economics, but when it comes to feminism and political correctness it's great seeing him tear up people about it, the same goes for when he talks about Islam, the thing about these guys is, even if you don't agree with them, they have their priorities right. In the grand scheme of things getting all pissy about what somebody said to somebody on television is a joke in itself, when it comes to the real stuff like freedom of speech and expression that's what people should be caring about, none of this trivial bullshit.
716  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Top 5 Ways Jon Stewart Was Full of Sh*t on: October 09, 2015, 09:27:41 PM
I'm not surprised at all this happened, I know Jon Stewart has his bad points, but he was always an honest human being and that's what made him so likeable when the left did something extremely shitty he let them know about it most of them time. Trevor Noah on the other hand seems to have the mentality of your average tumblr SJW from what I've seen of him, meanwhile with Jon he'd get into arguments with various left wing networks who thought they could arrogantly lecture him about everything which was always funny to watch.

Actually, I am pretty glad Trevor Noah isn't getting the same ratings, because if he did it would say a lot about the people who watch the daily show.
717  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are standards so poor in the mainstream? on: October 09, 2015, 02:54:54 PM
Because people outside of the mainstream are forced to adapt with little resources which means they have to compensate by being skilled and efficient.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dorian Nakamoto giving AMA on Reddit on: October 09, 2015, 12:45:53 PM
My god...  How funny would it be if he was really Satoshi and is trolling everyone in broken english.

I wouldn't put it past him in the slightest, the guy is way smarter than your average internet troll or third rate news reporter, technically whoever Satoshi has already trolled the internet with that "I am not Dorian Nakamoto" post.
719  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 14 year old Muslim teen gets legally detained in Texas for homemade clock II on: October 07, 2015, 07:57:15 PM
It really is about fucking time that the internet started actively trolling all these morons, people need to post up more and more fake stories to mess with people.
720  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Peeple: The App From Hell? on: October 07, 2015, 06:50:08 AM
I suppose you're right, but the thing is this isn't anything new, I realise this app is making it easier but people can still blatantly Doxx somebody on the internet and it's regularly done regardless of what the other persons says or even what the law says.
