On behalf of Britain I would sincerely like to apologise for the left wing social justice warrior bullshit being constantly written by the Guardian.

Mike is a dope and let the door hit him on the way out... after Pushing XT so hard I gave up on him.

Ahhh, so he's an XT dev? That explains the attitude, I have no idea why if they didn't believe in the project they just went ahead and make their own fork and altcoin. but then again that might take hard work instead of just trying to hijack Bitcoin's reputation like so many of them do.
523  Bitcoin / Press / Re: Very bad news for bitcoin any thoughts? on: January 15, 2016, 11:29:10 AM
This is just completely wrong and as a developer shouldn't this guy know better? Makes me wonder if your friend isn't trolling with a fake article or something lol.

The fact is, Gavin tried pushing through an arbitrary change to Bitcoin and because the changes to the code are voted on democratically by miners it was stopped because not everyone believe that just suddenly increasing the blocksize would fix the problems with the network and the transaction problems that he actually mentions. I'm not convinced these are the words of an experienced developer who has been working on the Bitcoin project for 5 years, if he did actually write this, then he must have an agenda, especially if he's suddenly broken off and may be planning something else because we see this from petty coin developers all the time who are trying to push their own projects and discredit Bitcoin instead of coming up with better ideas.

I don't think Bitcoin is in trouble at all, not compared to the stock markets and traditional finance sector, what's happening is a civil war of ideas and the strongest is going to win because that's how it all works, in fact, I've been impressed with how stable Bitcoin has been behaving despite the fact that the major stock indices around the world has fallen so much.
524  Other / Off-topic / Re: Did you watch The<Star Wars: The Force Awakens> "? on: January 13, 2016, 04:11:47 AM
Don't get me wrong they did a fantastic job on all the settings and graphics but come on guys, did you not see how blatantly they ripped off the originals? They even used very similar or outright copies of camera shots from the original films. The reason it was good was because they went for the easy option of just re-hashing the original storyline and putting some new characters in and then there's all the plotholes in the story that were there like the female lead suddenly gaining jedi powers with absolutely no explanation whatsoever.

I liked the background of the stormtrooper because it finally gave those generic bad guys some camera time but everyone else is being too distracted by the fantastic battle sequences and sounds to care.

*Potential Spoiler Alert*

Everyone keeps complaining about Rey's abilities and I didn't find it that distracting. I don't want to give away too much for those who haven't seen it, but you have to realize she spent most of her life obsessing about the times of Luke Skywalker. She knew about the Falcon and Han Solo, she had a former rebel pilot's helmet, and doll of a rebel pilot. She probably heard about ever legend of the Force. So if she knew about the skills of the Force she would try them herself once she realized that she could use the Force.

Yes, but none of that was shown in the film, so as far as I'm concerned it's a major plothole where she magically gains force powers for no fucking reason whatsoever. If you remember in the original films they did that whole thing where Luke went training with Yoda but with Rey they completely skipped that and left it out. It's people making excuses for bad writing, like with other stories I shouldn't have to dig through some obscure canon story outside of whatever product I'm sold to find all the reasons for this, also you seem to be making it up so it's likely they haven't explained it outside of the films either.

It's like how the Avengers magically communicate without headsets because they just completely left that detail out, that can end up being really distracting for people who notice that sort of thing, even the most simplistic super hero stories though always give some sort of explanation as to why a main character gets super powers all of a sudden like with spiderman getting bit by a radioactive spider or something.
525  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ‘Defaming Erdogan’: Criminal complaint filed against Putin in Turkey on: January 12, 2016, 03:55:56 PM
Erdogan is a corrupt bastard like the eu also Wink
Eu officials for the most part are just being stupid and blind. From the other hand Erdogan is openly act to the detriment peace and to silently help ISIS.
His actions are is beyond stupid and simply will be harmful for Turkey in the long run.

They're part of the same left wing groups that will blindly defend Islamists against any criticism whatsoever which is why they seem to have no problem siding with the likes of Turkey and completely ignoring any consequences to the people that elected them.

He will definitely get killed, at this point, radical Islamists almost make it a point to attack anybody that believes in freedom of speech or peaceful co-existence more than anything, I think that way of thinking is incredibly naive, aid workers before have been killed for trying to help people in ISIS territory.

This is a nice photo and shows the state of the western civilization  Smiley

Just so Americans and other foreigners who fantasize about Britain know, this is what awaits you in reality, what you see on television represents an absolute tiny minority of how Upper Class Britain lives and even that's largely fanciful, the rest is this lol so don't say I didn't warn you.

I can imagine because the cost of living in Britain is so high. I visited Britain last year, and vowed never to go there again. The costs for even the most basic necessities is so damn high compared to what I pay for stuff here in Canada.

I'm glad other people have realised it, here in the UK they're in denial, while food is relatively inexpensive, anything else like car insurance and housing has completely skyrocketed, baby boomers are the only ones who can afford houses which is why people of my generation are all living with their parents or at Universities. Pretty soon it's all going to collapse and hopefully at things will at least be allowed to reset itself once people realise what a clusterfuck both mainstream parties have made of the situation.

However as it stands currently, it is mathematically cheaper for me to learn a new language and go and live in somewhere like Japan than it is to buy a house here despite the fact I was born and raised in this country, since the government has clearly dictated they don't want people living here I'm just going to up and leave the second I get the chance.

Islam doesn't view women as humans I don't know what they were expecting.

So, because of this they must be educated about culture and rules in their new countries, as Norway already started.
Muslim man in European countries, like Bosnia and Albania, are different so their thinking is much more influenced by society and culture than religion.

Frankly I think it should be the other way round because feminists clearly have no fucking clue about organised religion beyond screaming about white Christians, they really should take a look at the shit that's in the Qu'ran because there are a lot more Islamists that genuinely believe in the violent shit in that than Christians who believe in the bible.

And yet they, those third wave feminists, never do. Check any feminist threads on any subject on any subs.

It is amazing everyone fights off everyone else on a wide range of subjects, pushing back and forth, defending their political and ideological viewpoints, calling each other out, from climate change to the pope, etc, etc...

The third wave feminists NEVER critic, defend, oppose, push back or have a very, very basic opinion regarding women under sharia laws.

For. Ever. Dead. Silent.

Unfortunately I know far more about that than most people because I'm a gamer and I'm learning how to make games, ever since the gamergate mess where the feminists attempted to attack all gamers they've been on a warpath because of their humiliation trying to paint anyone who disagrees with them in the games industry or elsewhere as a 'rape apologist' and so on.

Also on Thursday, Oregon Governor Kate Brown released a statement decrying the activities of Bundy’s militia and ordering the group to “decamp immediately and be held accountable.” She called the occupation a part of “tactics we Oregonians don’t agree with.”

Bullshit, I think we all know if they were black lives matter protesters or occupy wallstreet etc. the idiot politicians trying to denounce them would be all there with them trying to make it look like they care. One thing I do take away from this is that you can harass and cause trouble for just about anyone, but if you fuck with the federal government then you're going to get it even if what you did isn't that big of a deal.

533  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Esquire writer diagnoses men’s hatred of Hillary as "deeply, deeply sexual" on: January 08, 2016, 01:34:31 PM
The funny thing is we don't actually need to delve into the psychology of these people very much because in reality all it amounts to is anybody who disagrees with me is either racist or sexist and it is a very common tactic used unfortunately a lot more on the left than on the right. Ironically, it's actually extremely sexist and racist that these people are always assuming that because it's a white man that cricitises them that they're claiming these people are racist and sexist.

You see it tons of times as well with all their women can't be sexist and blacks can't be racist bullshit rhetoric, they know they're being sexist and racist themselves but they cover it up with lots of self-projection and accusations.

Never thought I'd agree with saddampbuh but it's fucking true, these politicians didn't elect themselves, there are a group of very determined morons out there who are intent on enforcing this way of life on everybody.
535  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Solved] Would buying a new standard router from a shop help my ping/speed? on: January 07, 2016, 06:26:53 PM
I just thought I'd say guys, if anyone in the UK who happens to be a virgin media customer I seem to have fixed it, everybody on the forums was swearing that resetting the router settings to factory default for some reason fixed it. So if you're having ping spikes and lag for no reason log into your router at 192.168.0.1 and click on the "Restore to factory default settings" button or whatever variation you have. Was very skeptical but it's now fixed and I'm finally able to enjoy games and use my internet properly again.

At least I know what to do if the usual fixes don't work.

And even as Washington does so, the US media finds itself still painting Russia as a villain even as the US finds itself forced to buy rockets from a nation it claims invaded Crimea, is fostering a “hybrid war” in eastern Ukraine, and is bombing US-backed “rebels” in Syria. It is worth mentioning that Russia’s RD-180 rocket engines, possessing unparalleled performance US firms have yet to match, will be used to launch payloads into Earth orbit for the US Department of Defense.

So, not only are they hypocrites and liars, this little sentence I've highlighted is what concerns me the most, these pricks are buying equipment from their supposedly sworn enemy that they've been harassing since the cold war, possibly later and now they're planning on weaponising space? What a bunch of cunts and yes, what other reason would the department of defence have for launching this stuff into space?

Also, if they were so worried about buying from the Russians why didn't they use the technology SpaceX have developed which is much cheaper and re-usable? Or would that be showing up NASA which they can't allow?

538  Other / Politics & Society / Re: German police cover up illegal muslim immigrant sex assaults on: January 06, 2016, 07:26:30 AM
Until every EU leader and especially Angela Merkel is kicked out of office, every girl and woman in Europe must learn martial arts, especially Jujitsu skills to fight off Muslim rapists.

That would take hard work and effort, something which women have universally been discouraged from doing in the west.
539  Other / Politics & Society / Re: German police cover up illegal muslim immigrant sex assaults on: January 05, 2016, 05:03:16 PM
This is the problem we have throughout the west, people are openly telling everyone else to surrender their basic human rights for the sake of not offending a bunch of assholes who think it's literally their god-given right to go around attacking or harassing people, anyone who thinks it's racist to stand up to criminals and fanatics can fuck off.
