Windows 7 lol and I'm not surprised if they're going to be patching it this early, for fucks sake, I planned on playing this all day, they should be testing this shit.

No error, it just starts up the intro video and then closes.
624  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fallout 4 on: November 09, 2015, 05:10:29 PM
That's actually the exact same bloody one as me, so why isn't it running? Did you do anything to get it working or run into any issues?
625  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fallout 4 on: November 09, 2015, 05:08:11 PM
I can't fucking run it, it looks like there is a CTD issue affecting AMD users, FUCKING BETHESDA! WHY CAN'T YOU EVER RELEASE A STABLE GAME?!

AMD 8 core CPU 4.0ghz before anyone says anything, I can run Battlefield 4 on high settings, I was really looking forward to this game.

Okay guys, just an FYI I can confirm there's a legit crack of Fallout 4 that's gone out now by CODEX, I'm going to put that in so that I don't have to fuck around with all these stupid regional locks and DRM, pirates yet again have come to the rescue.
627  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fallout 4 on: November 09, 2015, 04:33:49 PM
The game has been released in New Zealand and Australia and tons of people are trying to access it through VPN, is anybody else having trouble launching the game? I got everything installed and figured it all should be working but it seems to just CTD without an error as it loads up! Sad

I think I might just dowload a crack on principle so I can play the damn game offline properly if this is due to everybody trying to activate the game at the same time.

Rofl! Cheesy But here's the problem, as we've seen scammers have absolutely no problems on this site creating as many accounts as they like screwing with people, so how can they only have five?

By the way, can you see why I had so much trouble with my GCSE's? I went through this with my driving theory test as well but I needed a license so I stuck with it.

LOL! No don't, you'll just end up spending tons of money getting lots of keys for games you don't want, you may as well gamble for a copy of Fallout 4 that way, unfortunately you'll just have to be patient.

You numpty! lol Tongue I really don't understand why people order physical copies anymore nevermind buy them from brick and mortar game stores.

Yeah.. I failed lol
Should have got it on Steam.

Could always torrent it if you're that detrmined but I think even the torrented version will just come out on the 10th or later, so you've got no options for now really.

I hate maths problems like this as they're not grounded in reality and are why I got such low scores on my maths GSCE's.

1. Pay for an extra driver so the number between them is even and you can rotate them in shifts

2. Hire a bus or other large vehicle that can take 12 people instead of taking three cars

I realise there's a proper mathematical solution for this, but if people are going to make up a problem like this they need to make them genuinely difficult rather than place artificial limits on how you solve them.

I can't wait til the 10th..

You don't need to wait until the 10th, if you get a VPN and change your store region and download settings to New Zealand you can play it on the 9th.
634  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fallout 4 on: November 09, 2015, 05:12:12 AM
Oh god, I'm actually counting, 8 hours to go before release -_-
635  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fallout 4 on: November 09, 2015, 03:25:29 AM
Confirmed there are now 10 hours remaining before the game releases in New Zealand.
636  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fallout 4 on: November 08, 2015, 08:00:52 PM
So there's less confusion about the timezones now because I was confused as hell at first.

I can confirm that if you're using a New Zealand or Australia I.P address to unlock the game it will unlock at 1:00pm GMT.

I was never really that big into the fallout franchise but I am still very curious as to what they can add to the game.

It's been confirmed they've added settlement building and a huge amount of crafting in it, plus their official game footage shows the player flying a jetpack in the armoured suit you can have as well as flying a vertibird, in short they've added lots and lots, I can also confirm that the game is 28GB in size which is massive for any game especially if it's compressed.

IMPORTANT RELEASE DATE INFORMATION

I just saw a great tip on reddit guys on Fallout 4 and it turns out that if you want to play the game a day early and you're in europe if you use a VPN, switch the store settings and the region download settings on steam to New Zealand you'll be able to unlock the game a day earlier than the official release date. I've confirmed this is working, the countdown on the Fallout 4 page say 1 day 15 hours for me and it now only says 22 hours, so this means if you don't want to stay up all night just to wait for the unlock you don't have to.

So if you want the game at the absolute earliest it seems you need to switch to either New Zealand or Australia, apparently New Zealand is the earliest officially.

The hype is real lol Cheesy

HYPE has been real all week with new leaks everyday

I'm making a point of avoiding any leaks until my game unlocks I want to play it and enjoy it properly, by the way, if anyone here tries to leak or post spoilers I'm putting them on my ignore list for the week.

Ignore people ranting about SSD's, while they do offer a performance increase in loading times it's not so much that you'll end up screaming about how long the games are taking to load. When 1tb SSD's are the same price or only slightly more expensive than 1tb HDD's then you should get one. Until then you'll have a tiny hard drive that can barely fit anything on it and only a few games that you can play with fast loading times, after doing my research on the subject this is the conclusion I've come to, you aren't going to suffer that much if you use HDD's unless you're really obsessed about your hard drive write speeds.

Now watch as several people will pop into this thread and tell me how wrong I am without providing any evidence and ignoring the fact that 1tb SSD's cost hundreds of dollars/pounds compared to their equivalent HDD's Tongue
