They're doing their best to drive Sanders out, Hilary has already tried to play the sexism card a number of times on him and then there was that shit with the blacklivesmatter protesters, don't get me started on Ron paul either because what he went through was downright abuse and blatant propaganda on the part of the media.
542  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump says he will never quit US presidential race on: January 05, 2016, 07:50:55 AM
A recent poll found that 35% of Americans are republicans, 35% are democrates, and 30% are independents. The Donald has the support of 25% of republicans. One-quarter of 35% is about 8.5% of Americans. Yet, Trump supporters scream that he will be president. Are they delusional or stupid? One poll found that 80% of Trump supporters are high school graduates or high school dropouts, so I think stupid rather than delusional. He leads the poor white trash and they think they will take the presidency. Yawn.

Yeah yeah, paint all school graduates or dropouts as stupid without ever having known their circumstances, even though I'm in the UK I'm a school leaver and I think Trump is a moron, the reason he's popular is because he basically snubs elitist twats who think that everything in life revolves around getting a university degree and in order to have any sort of valid opinion you have to have more than one masters in a subject in order to be classed as intelligent.

As many people are saying now, Donald Trump is something that the political establishment has created themselves because of your exact sort of smug arrogance, while I don't support him in the slightest, it's great fun watching people like you squirm in horror over him. Anyone who is that hostile to Trump only have themselves to blame for being so blatantly hostile towards a specific demographic and it's now coming back to bite them in the arse, these people don't support him because they all like him, they support him because he's the only person left that's not part of the political establishment and is not willing to play by the rules the mainstream media sets.

The only people who were honest in politics and had genuine beliefs or arguments were driven out, so now Donald Trump is what has replaced them.

I'm going to stop constantly trying to make everything absolutely perfect and accept there will be flaws in the stuff I release so I can actually go ahead and make some money out of the stuff I do.

What stuff are you producing ? This is for your common job or as a hobby ? Do you sell it here on Bitcointalk ?

I update things here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=121471.0

I've put my silver work on hold though for now really, I want to get my game properly finished Tongue
544  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Family Dispute Over Washing Clothes Leaves Four Dead on: January 04, 2016, 09:23:06 PM
I know everybody is saying this is horrible and I'd say it too but let's be honest..... How many of us have gotten this infuriated with the family on christmas day and new years before? I'm going to make it my mission to completely avoid the family each Christmas and new years because I just can't fucking stand it anymore and everyone will be better off anyway. It's almost always over trivial bullshit, but it speaks of a much longer term problem where one family or the other just doesn't like hanging out with the whole group and being forced into a tight space even for a few weeks and not given space can drive anyone mental especially if it's with people they don't like.

547  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would buying a new standard router from a shop help my ping/speed? on: January 03, 2016, 06:12:15 PM
I'm using wired so there really shouldn't be any problems with ping etc., but the thing is my ISP is that shit It's probably just that they keep giving us faulty routers to use that may be the issue from what I've seen the router is netgear and they've gone and named it a 'superhub' when you put it into google there are all sorts of complaints about it including that they use a network card from a laptop lol. I definitely can't underestimate that Virgin Media has screwed us over with these things so I want to rule it out, in theory we should be getting 50mb but it always acts like a lot less, usually the culprit is bandwidth throttling which is why I've subscribed to a VPN but lately it's been acting up regardless.
548  Other / Off-topic / [Solved] Would buying a new standard router from a shop help my ping/speed? on: January 03, 2016, 05:16:58 PM
So I'm with this absolutely horrible ISP and even though they've improved things very slightly one very constant problem that I have identified and I'm pretty sure affects us regularly is their use of cheap or second hand routers that always keep breaking resulting in us having to contact tech support to find the problem and almost all the time it involves simply replacing the router as they constantly have faulty ones.

I figured people here would know, do any of you buy routers yourselves? Would you say they've improved things? I'm having ping spike problems and I'm absolutely sick of going through it all constantly and I just know they're going to say they'll send an engineer over who will replace them with another one that's going to fail within a few months again. Before you ask, I've already exhausted anything I can do on my end, even a VPN doesn't stop these spikes or speed problems because normally it's traffic shaping.

Seems to me like the best option would be to just buy a new router and test it out since they're not that expensive and I know they won't be shit.
549  Other / Off-topic / Re: WARNING: Coffee is Dangerously Addictive on: January 02, 2016, 03:19:43 AM
You've definitely overdosed if you're getting headaches or are feeling ill from going off it a couple of days, people forget that Caffeine, Alchohol and Tobacco are all drugs like any other, you have to use them in moderation, had the same experience myself awhile back and now I've limited myself to two coffee's a day as my absolutely maximum so if I ever go off it, it's not a problem.
550  Economy / Reputation / Re: What made Spoetnik such a troll? on: January 01, 2016, 10:45:05 PM
To be honest, I find the Jew haters and cryptocurrency haters posting here now are far better than all the horrid scammers begging for money constantly and attacking people who wouldn't go along with their bullshit, at least they just spam in their own threads and don't bother people much.
551  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-12-30] Mainstream Media Admits Bitcoin Stronger Than U.S. Dollar in 2015 on: December 31, 2015, 08:19:57 PM
Only CNBC reported the rise of of bitcoin versus dollar. But in 2 years, bitcoin is still weaker than US dollar. Maybe in the next 5 years, we can claim bitcoin is stronger than dollar.

What are you smoking? ...How many Dollars do you need to buy one bitcoin? If the price was 99cent or less per bitcoin I would have agreed with you... but bitcoin is way stronger

than the US dollar... take the growth from 2009 when it started and compare it to the dollar value over this period. The dollar has lost 90% of it's value and it's declining every

year. Let's compare apples with apples...  Grin

There will always be loyalists like him masturbating to the American flag who think that the dollar is indestructible, thankfully, the opinions of people like him are completely irrelevant when it comes to currency, what's interesting as well is that almost all the time anything positive is posted about Bitcoin there are always brand new accounts being created and are posting comments like this within hours of the article going up.
552  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Swiss Army Chief Warns Of Social Unrest, Calls Upon Citizens To Arm Themselves on: December 30, 2015, 06:53:11 PM
All healthy Swiss men aged between 18 and 34 are obliged to do military service and all are issued with what garbage media calls "assault rifles" (those who have a clue about firearms know what I mean) or pistols which they are supposed to keep at home. So you can bet that there´s lots of weapons being stored in the attics or cupboards of Swiss households.

I always point towards Switzerland as an example of why gun control advocates are full of shit, they always act like it's guns that are the problem and yet here's a country where every citizen knows how to use one yet you don't hear about mass murders very often there do you? While I don't approve of national service I think if you're going to do gun control that's the way to do it where if you ever plan on buying or using a gun you have to go through proper training to do it which drastically reduces any chance of things going wrong.
553  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Swiss Army Chief Warns Of Social Unrest, Calls Upon Citizens To Arm Themselves on: December 30, 2015, 03:42:44 PM
Those politicians are part of the problem because they refuse to acknowledge or talk about any of the problems people are facing because of Iraq and Syria, I'm not surprised that he's saying this, as with anyone in the army or intelligence communities that speak out like Bradley Manning or Edward Snowden they'll be branded traitors for going against the narrative.
554  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The space launchings aren't putting food on your table. on: December 29, 2015, 09:26:35 PM
We don't actually, it's becoming more and more difficult to get this stuff out of the earth nevermind what damage it could do to the environment, soon it's going to be far easier to launch something into space to grab the asteroids, anyway, since you're in denial I won't bother trying to spend hours convincing you.
555  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-12-28] Can Bitcoin Price Hold Above $400? on: December 29, 2015, 08:24:20 PM
The price is being interesting for sure, with that dump in November in the stock markets it will be interesting to see how Bitcoin handles things with the interest rate rise by the federal reserve.
556  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The space launchings aren't putting food on your table. on: December 29, 2015, 08:16:28 PM
I need to know what the point of spending thousands of US dollars on space trips is meant for. I don't know what we've accomplished and found beneficial to society and the overall growth of human living by having money and such being tossed for the government to send random men up into space. I don't understand why space travel is so necessary. Please tell me how the moon launchings weren't fake, or needed for the human race.
The point is research, without research we would still be living in the dark ages. There are uses beyond "putting guy in space",  satellite network provides you with GPS, tv.  If you are wondering about taxes you might as well wonder whats the point of spending thousands of US dollars on mass surveillance  Roll Eyes
Research is necessary but only when there's a point. I have yet to be given one beneficial thing society got out of these launchings. Please tell me what we got out them.
If you knew the results of research before you were to do it, the research itself wouldn't be necessary.  The point of research is to learn something knew about the world. You may learn new things about the planet or the universe. The problem is most of the research papers are hidden by institutions and copyright laws. You can always question if a certain research needs funding.

It's not just precious metals and gold and silver isn't just used for Jewellery, it's used plenty often in electronics and dentistry too, but then again, you'd know that if you'd have done your research.
557  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The space launchings aren't putting food on your table. on: December 29, 2015, 10:04:10 AM
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asteroid_mining

You'd have to be a complete moron to not understand why space travel is important, we're running out of resources on earth and there's an absolute abundance of raw materials up in space just waiting to be collected, all we need to do is figure out how to get there and back efficiently and we'll not only be rich but it will benefit mankind as we won't have to worry about consuming any rare materials anymore.

By the way, there's plenty more about this on the web dating back quite far, one asteroid spotted by NASA was estimated to have almost 1 trillion dollars worth of precious metals inside it, this is partly why there are private companies like SpaceX making a move to build rockets now and why having a re-usable rocket that's a lot cheaper than all these expensive government space programs is so important. You also have water on the moon being found and ice in asteroids etc. which means that you could sustain life out there if you had to long term.
558  Other / Politics & Society / Re: #GiveYourMoneyToWomen: a theory & practical framework of gender justice on: December 28, 2015, 06:08:27 PM
Thank fuck for Bitcoin because if these women get their way they'll happily rob men who don't even 'owe' them anything ( by their logic ) of everything they have using the state. I can't believe women like them are trying to still peddle this bullshit, they're just the biggest bunch of self-righteous arrogant and manipulative sociopaths I have ever seen in my life and they think they can get away with all of it purely because they have a vagina.
559  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ignore Button on: December 27, 2015, 09:45:30 PM
Why would you ignore anyone on the web ? are you 10 years old ?
I never have nor would i.
I am not a baby.

People like you are precisely why the ignore button exists, there are assholes who like with phones that don't have blacklists etc. take advantage of it and try to telemarketer call you, same thing on the internet.

LOL They can't even keep an eye on 5 million holy shit, I really hope businesses and individuals think twice before they give these twats anything, they truly are irrelevant, let me just repeat myself, don't give these fuckers anything.
