201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 25, 2023, 11:54:12 PM
JB has JT and I prefer Tatum as the face of the Celtics. This is madness, which is why many players are overreacting to the contract. Well, we will see if he is worth it this upcoming season, all I can say for now is he has a good agent to make that contract possible. Cheesy

The contract was made possible because Brown is really eligible for the super-max contract. I just don't understand why Celtics granted that kind of huge contract even though Brown was eligible for it. They can use instead the large space of their cap to fish for some good role players in the market.

Moving forward, Tatum is also expected to have the same huge max contract in his final year with the team and not exercise his rights on his Player Option.

I am not sure why there is this trend of retired great players having the comparison of their careers to the ones that have also retired. Like having a great player on their roster when they're in their prime. I am talking about Pierce talking about Wade he's saying he could do the same as Dwayne did and will probably have a better run because of having good teammates. I have no idea why there are beefs like this or it's just to make themselves relevant from the news we're having in the NBA.

Just take it with a grain of salt, bro.

Veterans will always have to say to each other regardless if those are towards their fellow retired players or active players. Wade and Pierce have lots of trash-talking during their active days and Heat and Celtics have formed a rivalry too during both players' prime seasons.

Anyhow, Pierce also clarified that he is not comparing himself to Dwayne Wade and the respect is always there.

“I never compared myself to Dwyane Wade, I was asked a question how would u answer if u were me I would never disrespect him he is an all-time great. All I’m saying is the narrative surrounding me would be different if I was lucky enough to play with all-timers earlier in my career.”
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 25, 2023, 11:32:11 PM

I'm also under the impression that Naoya Inoue will win but expect Stephen Fulton to last until the last round.

Fulton, being a champion, I think will fuel him to survive the fight even if he understands that Inoue is much ahead in terms of strength and quickness. Moving forward, Inoue just unleashed his very best that's why he called the "Japanese Monster" in the first place and won this fight.

Looks like an easy road for "The Monster" to becoming an undisputed champion at 122. Not saying our guy, Marlon Tapales can't beat him once they faced each other at another unification match but I just want to stay realistic about things that will happen in the future.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 25, 2023, 11:12:50 PM
It is very true, now Donaire is better to stay as a boxer and not as a predictor of results, he has to update himself a little more in the capacities of each boxer,

We should not take Donaire's prediction on the fight between Inoue and Fulton as a big deal. It's not that he is a predictor right away lol.

It just makes sense to ask him what will be his prediction because somehow, he and Inoue has a rival experience. It's not that Donaire is predicting the fight regularly. Obviously, as a former rival of Inoue, he was asked to give his prediction and that's it - no strings attached.

Anyways, Inoue won an impressive Knock Out win. Case close about Donaire's prediction.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: July 25, 2023, 10:57:03 PM
My main focus on this thread is in this question: as a gambler do you place your bet according to the weight of your financial need or you're always okay with whatever amount that comes out as potential win no matter how small amount?

I believed having such a type of goal why I do gambling is just a distraction.

I'd rather focus on how to win regardless of the reason I do gambling. I like my gambling experience not too technical and deep. I simply do gamble as I do want to win. I don't want any pressure that will affect my purpose of winning in gambling.

We can be serious about gambling without thinking too much. Besides, why do gambling if the goal is to make it as source of income?

Go found a real job instead.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other Things You Can Bet on Aside Sports and Casino Games on: July 25, 2023, 10:37:45 PM

I think some of the events are already common but the interest is not there due to the fact that some of those are not really interested in the first place. I don't think there's even a need a special thread about this as for me, that was basically a nonsense to discuss further.

Because of this thread, I remember way back during the peak of a pandemic that even the number of pandemic cases is being put on bet.

Anyhow, I really don't find other events as worthy to bet not unless there's a challenge like P2P betting or something along those lines.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deposit limits on: July 24, 2023, 11:57:12 PM
But for people that gamble daily, setting a daily limit can be helpful. It is the only one that is useful.

I doubt a deposit limit is useful, especially for a gambler that is playing on a daily basis. When a gambler is on the verge of always losing, they will find ways to chase it no matter what. Having a limit on that day will just lead them to aggressively find ways to gamble more and they will not just sit back and relax after losing and will wait for 24 hours for the system to refresh.

In fairness though, it's good to see that some gambling sites have that feature however, it won't really bring any benefits for a daily gambler.

Again, and also as you mentioned, it all depends on the gambler's discipline. No matter how good the feature that gambling sites offered to their users, it's in the gambler's own hands how to make their gambling experience good or worst. Gambling sites are business after all, I doubt they really care much for the financial status of their users.

`snip`

I think it's you who are most knowledgeable compare to us in terms of dealing with the gambling-related laws in your country. Therefore, I know you can do the search yourself. Even if we mentioned gambling sites that support users from your country, what if you will face a possible sanction there if you are caught doing online gambling?

Maybe it's good if you also consider asking your fellow community at your local section for a much better response.

208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 24, 2023, 11:29:43 PM
These boxers are wrong most of the time when picking the winner. It could be just a statement to mislead us, but what's important is that we trust our own prediction based on our analysis.

Not totally wrong but these boxers' picks are also based on self-preference. Sometimes, they are disregarding and not recognizing the strength of their dislike boxers because of personal reasons. In other words, they are biased in their picks because maybe they have had an issue before with that boxer, beaten badly before by that boxer, and something along those lines.

I'd rather read and referred to those boxing analysts who are neutral most of the time and the factors to consider are all technical and not being a fan or hater. There are lots of boxing analysts here in our local sports that is referring to pure technical analysis when giving a pick.

Anyways, as I also mentioned before, many will pick Crawford here because they hated Spence ducking the scene strategy for a long time.

Boxing week and full of big fights this week!
209  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betchia.com Crypto Casino on: July 23, 2023, 11:57:08 PM

I take a quick look at the site and want to consider testing the waters there with the use of free coupon.

The reason is just simply, my favorite game providers at our local online casinos are present there, KA Gaming and CQ9 Gaming, but unfortunately, the lucky games that I specifically want at both game providers are not present there, King of Dragons (KA) and 5 God Beast (CQ9).

Anyways, on the withdrawal page, the option is only limited to USD and EURO but the required field is asking for a "Wallet Address" (I assume crypto wallet, right?). Basically, the withdrawal amount that is seen in either USD or EURO value will be converted automatically to crypto once withdrawn. Is this right?

The withdrawal field should be fixed as there are lots of cryptos. The supported currencies for crypto withdrawals should be clearly seen there.

P.S. Is the site functioning as live now or it's still on a test run? There are lots of errors in most games. I'm smell something unusual hmmm.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 23, 2023, 11:25:05 PM

Fulton's coach should just show that damn proof and evidence after making such a statement to make it more legit.

Kind of if a person wants an expose' then they should present some solid evidence and proof to back it up then they can consider pulling out with the fight. If it's just speculation, I don't know why the coach suddenly came out of nowhere with that kind of statement when the fight is just a few days left to commence.

Fulton is not the type of boxer who will pull out in a big fight, especially in a considered important fight currently in his career without a big reason. I'm also sure he's not afraid of everything especially against the Japanese monster as that will play a role in building his solid legacy if he won here. He did even not contest to fight at the Inoue's homeland.

Regarding Inoue, he worked so hard to where he is now. I doubt something dirty is cooking behind the stage where he's really involved just to have the advantage against the champion. For let's say, there's probably cheating, Inoue doesn't surely have any role or participation in making that happen for real.

Let's hope for a fair fight.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: July 23, 2023, 11:05:08 PM
Saying that one can "strategically" avoid losses in gambling is like saying you can "strategically" avoid rain in a hurricane. In trading, the information is your umbrella. Sure, you might get wet, but you are more prepared. Long-term, steady gains in trading create a fortress, while gambling builds a house of cards. No need to argue, case closed.

I agree with you that no strategy can save a gambler's ass from losing in gambling whether playing in luck-based, strategy-based games, sports betting etc.

That was an obvious thing in gambling to expect. But on the latter part of your statement referring to trading, do you mean once fully prepared in trading, losing can somehow avoid? I can also say the same thing in trading wherein there's no strategy to avoid losing. It's impossible to always withstand market volatility even how professional and expert the trader is.

Maybe the more appropriate to say is, "while there's no strategical way to avoid losing at either trading or gambling, there are ways to minimize it".
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 23, 2023, 10:44:19 PM
It's obvious that the Celtics doesn't want to lose Jaylen Brown in the free market so they want to make sure that they will kept him in the last 5 years or so and they are willing to take that risk in the huge contract.

Not sure about it but just a guess of mine, Celtics might have been influenced by that decision, by who knows something a reputable person, or maybe Jayson Tatum itself. I don't consider the reason that Celtics don't want to lose Jaylen Brown where in fact, they seem to be urged at trading him. Remember back during the hot trend of Kevin Durant wanting out of the Brooklyn Nets, Brown was considered as a trading piece in exchange for Durant.

It's that a month ago when Celtics now change their future goals with Jaylen Brown and decided to offer a max contract extension to keep him on the team as he's eligible for it. Personally, for me, that was a good decision for the Celtics but offering Brown a max extension means the team has no more plans to add another Superstar caliber on the roster as Tatum is also under a huge contract and aside from that, it was expected that he will also get the same huge contract if he won't decline his player option on his final seasons with the current contract.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: July 23, 2023, 10:24:47 PM
In any case, I think that this is one of the ways that a casino can fail, in fact a casino is a very profitable company, but it is best to always start with a lot of capital, for whatever, also security is something that must always be invested in, security must be strengthened every week, now more than ever when AI is emerging it is something that makes any casino think, so different technical specialists must be hired, security must not be neglected for any reason, I know that now security with AI is emerging, but it is better to be at the forefront to avoid this type of thing, for a casino to lose capital is something very easy, if there is no good administration that is the first of all the problems that will come.

I'm sure most casinos nowadays are putting in huge funds for security purposes. It's something necessary and mandatory.

However, hackers really can find a way to enter a vulnerable part of a casino's security. The reason? Because these hackers are really focused on doing that to the point that most of their time only spend looking for ways to somehow breach the casino security.

Anyhow, if the casino is not spending too much hiring some good techies out there to ensure the safety of the casino funds, then for sure, they don't have the ability to even cover whole big winnings once their gamblers won big. Bankrupt will surely follow next.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers Belief on: July 23, 2023, 09:58:07 PM
If you want to see a person full of hope and belief, then gamblers are the perfect example. The hope of winning and the belief to win is found in gambling.

Obviously, seeing a gambler not hoping for a win doesn't make sense.

Indeed, most gamblers do hope for a win.

That's why I don't believe in those "gambling for fun" reasons especially for those casual gamblers wherein the money loses at gambling is just fine because they are gambling for fun. What a bullsh*t reason right?

Even if you tell them that gambling is risky and the result may come out differently (not in his favor), they refuses to accept it and have 100% belief that they will win at any cost.

Being a positive gambler is a good trait while gambling since their mind will be relaxed and surely won't be pressured to win.

Let them understand and realize what gambling will really bring by themselves.

Telling them the risks of gambling is fine but if they are really eager to push for it, then let them be. And
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 22, 2023, 03:18:04 AM
If we look into the history of Inoue's career we can say that we have the mindset that every fight of Inoue will have a chance of winning by Knocking out his opponent, and when the next fight of Inoue still I do believe that there's a high percentage of winning by knockdown. But anyways Inoue nowadays is monster that some fighter will afraid to face with him.

Honestly, I'm not seeing Stephen Fulton losing via Knock Out.

Maybe he will be KO'ed at some point during the fight but Inoue might win via Decision instead (if let's say Inoue won).

Inoue took 11 Rounds just to Knock Out Paul Butler during their undisputed fight. Paul Butler is even much weaker compared to Stephen Fulton who is a champion at 122 and already defeated some of the popular guys here. I believe Fulton, if let's say he loses the match against Inoue, will be able to survive the 12 rounds dealing with the Japanese Monster.

Aside from that, Fulton being a champion will surely fuel his eagerness and determination not to get KO. And who knows, he might get a win.

Anyway, this is Donaire vs Santiago thread. Let's refrain from discussing too much about the other fight just because Donaire shares his analysis. Cheesy
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: July 22, 2023, 02:48:00 AM

anyone deposited very less amount and luckily won a big jackpot like a 100x or 500x or 1000x of base bet and withdrawn without kyc or without facing any problem from the platform?

if yes, how much was that amount? and what was the exchange?

i seen many people complaining about they don't give big wins easily or just don't give by making unanswerable queries like very hard KYC, freezing accounts, etc. this problem is very common with trusted casino's also/

do anyone withdrawn successfully the winning amount and if yes what was the process, it was seamless or you need to pass a hard kyc?

Yes, before I won a x999 on a Php 5 bet (around $0.01). I can't remember the deposit amount but it's not that much. I am able to smoothly withdraw it without any problem or being asked for KYC. Anyways, I don't think it's about the multipliers but rather the specific big amount. In my case, even if that's an x999 winning, the amount won't surely trigger the alarm.

Simply, if you are worried about KYC stuff, then always consider playing only at reputable gambling and comply with their KYC if necessary.

Anyways, you don't really need to be worried about that if you are in a reputabel casino but rather hope first that you will win such big multipliers. Smiley
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 22, 2023, 01:15:27 AM
In the end, we are going to end up with something good for Clippers if they can somehow manage to get rid of Kawhi and PG, they can't really easily do that because those players do not play all that much and they worth a lot right now, their contracts are huge so it is going to be a hard job. I believe it is not going to be simple situation and lets see what they can actually do.

As far as the current situation for the Los Angeles Clippers is concerned, I doubt we are seeing either Kawhi Leonard or Paul George leaving the team just for the purpose of managing the salary space to acquire James Harden in return. Gotta is for real here, Clippers' only choice is to give up their several role players plus their future 1st round picks. It's like a gamble for both LAC and Sixers but no doubt, they will both win on that blockbuster trade if happened.

As I mentioned previously, the Sixers always tried their best to rebuild every year, to surround Joel Embiid with good teammates, etc. Maybe it's about time now to do a thing that they have never considered before, and that is, take Joel Embiid as the sole key player for the team and just surround him with good role players. If 2 superstars didn't work out, try the other combinations.

As for the Clippers, even if they will give up their future picks for James Harden, I don't see a chemistry problem between Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden as even though these players are mostly used on ISO plays, they are not new playing with the same key scorer.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: July 22, 2023, 12:30:55 AM
Why does it just have to be about learning how to trade futures? How about learning how to trade options, or stocks, or simply how to invest properly.

As an advisor I thankfully have never had to make the decision whether I wanted to learn just one or the other, so I’ve learned both. I think anyone else has this same opportunity.

Good point. That "life-changing" reward that OP mentioned can also be achieved by just doing spot trading or those you have mentioned.

Maybe OP thinks that Future Trading is by far the most rewardable method in terms of advanced trading which can yield a high return. Might be true at some point but as always, high expected rewards are not that easy to achieve and it always associates with high risks.

It's just a matter of self-preferences though and interest. Even how profitable future trading, spot trading, investing in stocks, or the usual gambling in general, etc., without any interest from the person itself, they won't succeed at any options mentioned.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 21, 2023, 11:57:20 PM
Yes, they are still undecided because they know it can go either way, 50/50. Both are great fighters, undefeated, have great trainers as well. So it's going to be very difficult to predict although Crawford remains the favourite in this fight.

I also have the same sentiment. Actually, both boxers are really equal and par to me it's just that because of Spence's drama since then, I considered that as the most reason why people don't like him and they are disregarding the fact about Spence's real strength. But anyhow, what matter here is, the fight will now happen and just a few sleeps to go after waiting for several years in the making.

I don't see there will be any big changes in the odds as the fight is approaching (provided no such event will happen at both camps e.g. unexpected or sudden injuries etc.) and Crawford will remain as Favorite.

Terence Crawford @ 1.62
Errol Spence @ 2.25
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 21, 2023, 11:40:05 PM
I may have missed other aspects, but these questions should suffice for now. I look forward to reading your thoughts and comments.

I understand the picture as sometimes I do really have a gambling pattern but not referring to specific days but rather what my mindset is telling me.

For example, when I feel the excitement of gambling, I will really do it regardless of what day is it or even if I'm currently at work lol. On the other hand, if my mindset tells me the other hand, which is not that interesting to gamble at that said time, I will skip it even if I have money to spare or in my free time.

Regarding the environment, I prefer to play online in a silent area. I don't want any music background but simply, just want a quiet environment. The only sound should I hear is the sound itself of that gambling game (when playing online casinos). I do have a bad losing streak when I do gambling when I feel my luck is not there or sort of challenging my luck on that specific session.
