201  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: February 20, 2024, 01:49:49 PM
For so many years in gambling, I could say that LUCK doesn't come in timing as not actually happen to me. Maybe I was too unlucky not to win my last bet and lost but this never means that I was complaining about it as I know that in gambling sometimes we get lucky but most of the time are not. I was not experienced yet with this but I hope it can be someday. Or maybe, that is a sign that I will not extend my gambling time because if ever I win, I may use that money thinking for another win. That is common to most of us as we just stop until to find out that we don't have money left on our pocket anymore.

snip...
what do you think?. Do you believe he is right with the rigid approach to gambling?,
He has some point of his stance thinking that trying a new one will stress him from familiarizing how the platform works. He never feels comfortable doing it and that sometimes happens to me. Every gambler has their choice and favorite gambling site which makes them prefer to stay using it rather than trying a new one even if they have a good offer.

also should I continue convincing him  to try out something new and enjoy these great offers?.
It makes no sense and instead of doing this, better to let him choose what they prefer. We better respect his decision rather than forcing someone as this won't help but instead, this probably creates misunderstandings and blaming especially if he loses. Because it was not the offer but the place where he felt comfortable.

204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can we act against scammers, hackers and criminals? on: February 20, 2024, 04:29:26 AM
Perhaps, it is an individual solution. It is easy to spot a scam's motives if we are not too mindful of money and because these scammers will use promising words that would attract attention. Then must stay away from them and ignore quick rich opportunities because that would just end up scamming.

But hacking is a different story, even an expert may fall. Taking extra caution could help but this won't totally rid of hackers/scammers. No matter what we do, these people are already a part of the community and I think the best thing is to accept the fact they still exist in the real world. So what we gonna do is to be more careful with the apps installed and links to click. And one must decide if this is right or wrong.

205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 19, 2024, 09:51:45 PM

What do you think, is this good and can help me overcome losses that will occur so that $$ remains safe and can be used in future betting? Are there other unique ways that you can use to grow your money in gambling? feel free to comment. Thanks
If say's okay if you are benefiting from the impact of the change and I apparently see it as good but the question is if it is becoming long-term or just short-term. Gambling management is not far from being a responsible gambler. But if we consider gambling as our source of income, we also consider ourselves as an irresponsible gambler. Why? This will also change our gambling habits and the most possible is that we spend more money believing that we can earn more money. We are breaking our limits and that even pushes us to addiction.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Not easy times in the world but how the goverment will improve? on: February 19, 2024, 09:02:52 PM
In my country the government and its officials are busy looting public fund without remorse, since no one is to monitor them, there yes and no stands without challenge from any angle, my country's president before he assumed office once said during one of his campaigns that it is his turn to rule, I want to ask what do we expect from a president whose manifesto is mockery in the sight of the citizens, a country that's is blessed with everything is now suffering from hunger, inflation is hitting us hard and the government is not doing anything about it, no economic step taken so far, with the mineral resources we have in my country more especially the state where I come from is not suppose to be lacking employment and basic amenities but embezzlement of public funds and abandoning the citizen to lavish in poverty has become a normal thing in my country, at this point is only God that can come to our rescue.
Government projects and funds are audited for sure and many corrupt officials get caught for not using it properly and overpriced projects but sadly, only a few got punished by the law, and they are still free and continue doing their illegal use of funds. Honestly, most of these government leaders don't care about the poverty situation of the people but just their personal interests. This is why we don't have to expect and wait for any help from them as they might give us some food donations that only last for a few days. The government never finds a long-term solution, if we never work hard, we never survive.
207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning comes before earning on: February 19, 2024, 11:23:54 AM
Just imagine a job seeker failing to get hired because lack of education and experience. It is a mere fact that we need to invest first in proper education in order to get a higher chance of winning the competition. Perhaps, it was a prerequisite that we needed to acquire before landing a better job.

Just imagine how a businessman becomes successful. Indeed, they work hard on studying how the business operates so well. It all means that there is a big hope of earning money when we have experiences and learnings. Working hard in building knowledge and strategies is the key to success, and that is how we've paid off.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just hold in patience, nothing can stop the raging bull when it comes on: February 18, 2024, 10:50:58 AM
Price corrections are inevitable, but no losses happens if we are able to hold tight. I'd never say this is difficult in reality if we are certain about what we want to see results of our investment. I see how important to develop a positive kind of thinking and mindset for this will drive us to the right path and passive results.

Hearing FUD is not new to us and it makes change your market views. But keeping our mind firm on our goal is certainly no effect. Trust really matter here, it is an influential factor that help us decide to hold despite price corrections.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be very careful and attentive when selling your bitcoins on: February 18, 2024, 08:14:12 AM
I haven't used a centralized cryptocurrency exchange since 2019(if I remember correctly). I'm selling my BTC outside the centralized exchanges and I don't have to deal with buy and sell orders. I never had any problems with selling my BTC so far. I guess that this Novadax exchange isn't very convenient and user friendly, so this Bitcoin investor had placed the wrong sell order. This is yet another Bitcoin horror story about losing your coins due to your own mistakes. Some people lose their private keys, other people place the wrong sell orders. Sh&t happens... Unfortunately we can't do anything about this problem.
Perhaps, choosing unknown and non reputable exchange is a big mistake, and much more if this is the first time we use the platform. The rush to click the sell/buy button without bothering to recheck it more often it went wrong. It happens to me, in fact, I was using known platform Binance but has no chance of getting it back once filled and sold. That could be a harsh thing happen in crypto space but somehow, this mistake and losing experience  helps us to further know how tricky in here which we really need to be more careful and double check placed order before hitting the sell/buy option.
210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What traders must know on: February 18, 2024, 07:34:56 AM
Everything you've said OP are the vital things to learn. Unfortunately, can't forced everyone to do this and take this seriously as they don't feel yet the hardships until they will found it how difficult it was when suffering losses.

We've see a lot of newbies are trading and thinking that they could earn easily even without knowledge but the results blown out their mind and realized their mistakes from ignoring these things.

Trading is not just money but in order to succeed, we also need to deal our emotions and greed as these are the common reasons why many traders fails.
211  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why it's wrong to save vital information on your phone. on: February 17, 2024, 11:40:24 PM
Honestly OP, you will never realize that was wrong until when you have been hacked and the main cause is the keys that are stored in your phone.
If you care about it, I don't recommend saving your important details on your phone but keep it separately. We may say we are prone to hacking but at least we make these hackers suffer difficulties before they discover our keys. As they are smart, we should also be smart in keeping and securing our funds so that they realize that people are also learning.

We must consider those people who have experienced hacking as a lesson to learn rather than wait for it to happen to us. It makes no sense as it was given already and yet, we don't do something to avoid it.
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is just happened on the Bitcoin Market? on: February 17, 2024, 10:57:21 PM
I don't think we have to keep wondering every day what is happening in the market because whether we like it or not, it has been behaving this way since before. We experienced an uptrend today and in the next couple of days, it possibly be a downtrend as well.

We just think about the volatility of the market and make ourselves aware of the situation that Bitcoin is so popular now that the government hates it. We are not just talking about the SEC but so many factors affecting the price of Bitcoin. However, Bitcoin had already established strong support for the community which keeps the price high. Yes, it dumps but it recovers.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Not easy times in the world but how the goverment will improve? on: February 17, 2024, 12:57:14 PM
The government takes actions very slowly, that is what we experience in our country, and maybe in other countries are opposite as I presume. In this case, I hate to say this but we can't rely on them to give us a better solution to our economy. They are just good at speeches, they promise something good in the people but their actions are missing.

We better carry our own and discover opportunities that help us improve rather than wait for the government to work. Otherwise, we get hungry and die from their hopeless promises.

215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 16, 2024, 05:01:11 AM
Well, I would say that investing is a good choice for you but as been said, make yourself ready to adopt the volatile nature of the market.
And to remind you not to be greedy.
As a student, he'll for sure going to feel the bad days and will be disappointed to see what's happening on the market. With that, it might make him think to quit.
But that's part of investing into Bitcoin and as everyone can see, Bitcoin goes $51k is an interesting choice and will make him see that he'd able to invest well throughout the time and even a good gift during his graduation.
He is supposed to do that and have strong hands. Otherwise, he will not be going far and possibly quit right after seeing the prices drop. That is why I'm not suggesting anyone always check their portfolio because that will affect our minds especially when seeing our portfolio is red. Understanding the market behavior is very important at least we are ready for what will happen next. If he is able to hold his Bitcoin until finishes his studies, he will not just make money but also his experience make him realize that investing is a good earning opportunity rather than just saving.

Those people who start investing at an early age make their lives better in the future. And this kind of mindset should be developed especially if you have the capacity to start.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do cryptocurrency increase the standard of living on: February 14, 2024, 10:03:13 PM
Knowing fully well that there is so many uneducated people around the world, how can cryptocurrency increase the standard of living
Just be know that crypto does not solve poverty but it can make some rich. However, this will only happen if you are investing potential coins, not shitcoins. But if you don't have money to invest, this is also impossible which makes poor people hard to do it.

It is hard to accept but unfortunately, this is life, rich people become richer while poor people become poorer because of different mindsets and financial capabilities. Though we wanted to improve our living but if we don't have money, that is somewhat difficult and impossible. Therefore, if we want to have that standard of living, we have to know how to save money first and take the chance to invest using it rather than spending on useless stuff.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will AI Take over the Position of VAR? on: February 14, 2024, 01:12:00 PM
Errors could always happen because we are human beings and not made for perfection. But to the extent of saying MORE errors, that is a problem and we then think about AI as the solution for this. But I don't think it necessary nor we should do this but rather make these VAR to be trained more or get replaced by someone who is capable for this position. Because I don't believe we should take AI for this as I see it better to have judges that have feelings and emotions like us.

AI never suits all, so my stand about this situation is NO. I'd just think if AI will replace everything, then we are letting these robots overpowerd us.
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Signs you should know to take profit from your crypto investment on: February 14, 2024, 11:56:48 AM

People do miss out those opportunities and ended up on having those regrets. Just like been said that learnings do comes from in the end and not from the start.
With those experiences that you are able to encounter. You would really be finding yourself that be able to learn from it on which on next time
then you do already know on what you should gonna do on such situation.
Greediness is one of the common problems here. Many people missed the chance because they thought that there was more and declined to sell. Honestly, only a few get into it because this kind of mistake still exists. I think, most of us are still emotional and too optimistic which is not good anymore. We need to learn how to analyze the market situation and keep in mind that not all the time we need to hold, we also need to sell when prices satisfy us. Making a high target is not a good practice but rather make it achievable so we don't miss some earning opportunities. We need to think and I think at least having 5-10% ROI is good enough.
219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people getting scared to Trade on: February 13, 2024, 09:25:58 PM
Lately, I have noticed in most crypto groups I'm in,  many crypto enthusiasts are increasingly participating in airdrops and crypto events organized by exchanges or project developers to earn USDT or tokens. Is it because these "people" are afraid to trade or they do not believe they can make money from trading? Don't get me wrong, I understand that this can also generate passive income, but what I'm curious about is whether these activities truly yield significant profits or not.

They are not risk-takers because only those who are in this kind of behavior will choose trading rather than simply joining airdrops which likely gives nothing to the participants. But it is not just like that, people are afraid to trade because they already know that they are not capable of this and their level of understanding seems too far to be a good trader. They are not pretending that they could make a successful trade, at least we've seen them true to themselves rather than making a fool.

Trading could make you rich but those won't say that even a newbie could make it. So we never expect that RICH thing in trading instead, we have to think about our capabilities if we can do it right. We have to keep in mind that trading is not easy, so we don't assume that once we trade, we can earn.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you quit gambling for a friend? on: February 13, 2024, 11:10:12 AM
For the sake of my friend's advice, I would listen but it was hard to promise to quit gambling.
Because I'd never find it wrong and harmful to gamble as long as we stick to the limit. Of course, addiction is another story that needs immediate actions and stoppage if possible. But as I see into myself, I wasn't in that situation and I don't go beyond what I am doing now. Gambling responsibly is always on my mind and I kept it that way.
People who can stay away from gambling addiction are those who are willing to listen to advice from other people, you are right that good advice will bring us much better, although you don't have to stop completely as long as you can still gamble responsibly, I think it will never be a problem, but don't because you can do it consciously, being able to protect yourself from being addicted to gambling doesn't mean you can get rid of gambling addiction, everyone will definitely fall if their life is without a life support or the people around us who always give advice.

But as long as you listen to other people's advice, I'm sure it will be safe. I also often hear advice from people close to me not to gamble excessively which can eventually make me addicted. If I feel like I'm out of bounds, that's why I try to stop. gamble for some time so that it will come back again after things get better, after all it is important to protect yourself from gambling addiction, especially since gambling addiction is very difficult to cure, it is natural to listen to advice from anyone for our own good
One reason why some gamblers fall into addiction is because they think they are alone. They never share their stories nor ask and listening other's opinions. I'd see some people get into addiction because they are out from socialization, they feel like gambling makes them happy rather than being into friends and family gatherings. This is why I see how important to keep open to all advice and value their opinions because those people around us usually observe and notice what happens to us.
