201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best 2-month investment on: February 09, 2018, 09:24:41 AM
I have some money not more than two months later. In which coin should I invest? I searched to find my answer, but advices are for long-term investment.

I will recommend to you the best coins in the altcoin world, meaning the top ones and then the ones that are sure to become big in the time to come, basing on the fundamentals of their projects as well as the performance of their ICOs. But of course I will include Bitcoin in my list of recommendations. And then I will proceed to Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Strat, Waves, Monero, Siacoin, Vertcoin, Aventus, and Titanium (BAR).
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Yesterday India, today china, tomorrow USA on: February 08, 2018, 02:19:04 AM
You are saying that there will either be a ban or a strict regulation. The two of course are different. As for the ban, India, China, and then the USA are all saying they will not be implementing a ban on crypto. I hope you have read such news elsewhere. As for regulations, yes, there will be regulations to be expected. That is normal. That will be coming from the governments of such countries to instill measures whose purpose is nothing but the protection of their citizens and of course to be able to tax them to a certain extent. Again, this is normal.

Over all, there is nothing to be afraid of really. Everything is pretty much healthy and Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency technology is growing.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH a Scam ? on: February 08, 2018, 01:35:11 AM
So i saw people post on facebook to buy ETH when it was $0.25

Surely a good choice....

But now it is $1200...... All ETH does is release shady ICOs and some dumb cat dApp. Is this the future of virtual currency or a scam? To make those rich who bought it for $0.25?

We bitcointalk friends should be more smart and AVOID eth to buy whats cheap NOW.

Oh boy! It seems to me that you are not carefully choosing what to post here. Or are you just another Ethereum enemy spreading some unfounded accusations here? The growth of Ethereum was not made overnight. I hope you have noticed that. Ethereum has been here for a while and whose blockchain and smart contract have already produced so many brilliant and successful ICOs and projects. Of course there were scams that also used their blockchain but are you going to blame Ethereum for that? The Ethereum team has repeatedly condemned these crooks.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic buy and panic sell | chance on: February 07, 2018, 03:04:32 AM
If I can remember it correctly, I have yet to hear a certain panic buying here in crypto. There is panic selling of course. That is happening every time there is a little bit serious dip in value. Instead of people hodling, some weaker members of the crypto community opt to be carried away by their emotions and sell even with huge losses. But panic buying is something not that familiar. You buy not with panic but with the idea that there is a big profit every time you invest when the prices are dipping very low. It is where big profits are coming from.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Forks [updated 2/4/2018] on: February 07, 2018, 12:50:03 AM
The list is too long. I doubt if there is a sound and valid reasons for such forks. I am quite sure though that around 90 percent of these Bitcoin forks are nothing but attempts to make money out of thin air. Perhaps the same forks basically lack the vision or even the slightest idea or objective of their new coin. This is going to be another one bad point to Bitcoin if the forks continue to grow exponentially or even irrationally. It looks like a few people are playing with it already.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BEST advice for this Crash on: February 06, 2018, 01:50:03 AM
1) Close the following windows in laptop or phone: coinmarketcap, blockfolio, cryptocompare
2) Live
3) Reopen in few months
4) Enjoy  Grin

this happened in the past, and will also happen again in the future.. Blockchain will succeed, the market is still only a minimal fraction of what it is going to be in some years.. dont be stupid.. dont follow the mainstream's fear. use your brain. this is all just panic. only the strongest hands will survive!

ps: keep the good vibe, ..positive comments and +merits are welcome, ... negative comments keep for yourself or post in a suicide forum, i dont care! (THIS IS SPECIALLY DEDICATED TO YOU ..  username in bitcointalk : "ZOMBIES"   .. go away and buy a friend!)

Oh yeah! This post is refreshing.

This post especially goes out to the ones who are already shaking with panic. If you guys get emotional every time you see your portfolio or coinmarketcap, the best antidote is really to avoid looking at it. Avoidance is a good medicine really. This post is a brilliant advice. Leave blockfolio, coinmarketcap, and cryptocompare for about 2 months. When you get back, it's already party time.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins to invest? on: February 06, 2018, 12:02:01 AM
I would strongly recommend that during this particular phase in cryptocurrency wherein all the top coins including Bitcoin is very cheap, do not go for those that have not yet proven the worth of their coins. Instead, go for those on top. After all, they are very cheap right now. They will be the ones that will be on the forefront of the bullish market once all these very red days are through. Go for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Waves, Stratis, POWR, ADA, and so on. Just choose the top ones.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The next big coin in your opinion? on: February 05, 2018, 12:51:52 PM
What low market cap coin has the biggest potential in your opinion?

I think there are several coins that might fall on that category. I think I will be mentioning the very young coins, those that were just introduced to the exchanges but were quick sold outs in their respective ICOs. Included in this category is Crypterium (CRPT) and then we also have Titanium (BAR). The fact that their ICOs were early sold outs means that there were a lot of interested investors. Crypterium has even surpassed the hard cap a little. Titanium (BAR) was extremely ahead of schedule in reaching their hard cap. The market cap of these coins are still low because they are till very young.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its over guys on: February 05, 2018, 10:42:54 AM
This year cryptos will goto oblivion. End of days.

India's unfavorable crypto stance and more countries to follow.

I warned you people 2 weeks ago, still there is time. Get out of this with minimum losses.

I've got no problem with what is currently happening with the cryptocurrency price direction. Although I have been with the crypto world for a little less than a couple of years, I am very much aware that these price directions have been happening several times in the past years of crypto existence. And every time there is a dump the next thing that happens will always be a soaring direction. And the bounce back will always be much higher than what is expected. We have always been surprised by Bitcoin and other altcoins. I am hodling mine and I know that I will end up much richer than those who have weaker hands.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY ENDED][ICO] |Titanium Blockchain Infrastructur Services (TBIS) | on: January 24, 2018, 02:12:42 AM
well done op. you manage this campaign as well. gratz

I would say it is a good combination of both the project and the campaign manager. Everything's pretty smooth right from the get-go. The computation was swift and accurate and now we are seeing BAR tokens being traded with already almost a million USD in volume. Aerys2 deserves a green.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: January 21, 2018, 03:28:52 AM
I am sure we touched the bottom today. so i am going to real Estate Dealer for selling my house and buy bitcoin. I suggest you all do that

And where are you going to live now? I guess that's too much for me. I will not be sacrificing my house to buy more Bitcoins. It is enough that almost all the savings are already in Bitcoin. Well, some others are already pawning some of their real estate assets just to add more and more Bitcoins in their portfolios. That might be wise but the risk is also there. I think it is better not to give everything in Bitcoin investment.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I earned $ 3500 from the 1 airdrop on: January 21, 2018, 02:37:56 AM
I participated in the first airdrop IOP (internet of people) and with 500 token iop I received 2200 hydra .. that I sold in the exchange on the discord and from which I got 450 IOP .... with a gain of over 90% doing nothing. Tonight, the second airdrop closes the second airdrop and tomorrow another part

That is already a good deal of money you have got there. And considering that it is coming from an airdrop only, that is easy money for you. I have not experienced receiving that amount from an airdrop. Actually, I used to track new airdrops before but I eventually gave up when I got only a few bucks from it. And then some others are even dead coins from the start.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shall we be afraid of bitcoin ? on: January 19, 2018, 01:23:14 AM
Do you think people understand that it is just money changing hands like if you were making and selling new paintings ?

I wrote an article about it here: https://medium.com/@netcashfx/bitcoins-wealth-is-not-a-threat-152b1a90489d

With paintings, there is something that is found in the real world which you are selling, which you can hang at the wall of your house and be amazed at its beauty. With Bitcoin, everything is pretty much agreed upon. There is really nothing in the real world which Bitcoin represents, except perhaps some ideals and desire to create some kind of a better deal in the world. But for as long as the people believe in its ideals, Bitcoin will remain strong.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friend sent me .03 BTC - what to do now? on: January 18, 2018, 02:14:50 AM
So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?

You have a really good friend that he paid you for some favor with Bitcoin. That was great of your friend. How I wish somebody would pay me in Bitcoin for a certain favor. Anyway, I think it would be better if you just hold it. Well, I suppose you do not badly need money right now because you are asking what to do with it. The value of that will easily double or even triple in a couple of months.
215  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is buy bitcoin valuable on: January 18, 2018, 01:20:34 AM
is it valuable buy bitcoin for a beginner?

I would say yes but because you are still a beginner you must have at least enough background of what you are entering into. The basics about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as well as the blockchain technology should be learned first before jumping into investments. Bitcoin is valuable. No doubt about it. Especially now that the price is rather low, it is a perfect time to buy. However, it is much better if you know exactly what you are buying.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10k BTC! (Job is going bye bye...giving notice) :) ie MY SHIP CAME IN! Take Poll on: January 18, 2018, 12:43:37 AM
I voted for $50,000. That's probably big enough for me to be able to start my own business and continue focusing on Bitcoin. That would sustain my needs while planning and starting my business of choice. And the good thing is that it might happen within the year. I am very positive about it. By the time, this dumping will end, the growth will be very bullish and quick.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Lightning Network on: January 17, 2018, 03:14:06 AM
I read about Bitcoin Lightning Network  and i need some clarifications..
I understand that it will kill the high fees we see today and make it cheap and fast like altcoins.

1. Is it going to be 100% sure or just speculations ?
2. Launching date ? weeks/ months/ years ?
3. is it work on a third party service or it will work on and from every wallet (blockchain.innfo , exodus, electrum etc ? )

I have also heard about this Bitcoin Lightning Network news. As a matter of fact, if I am not mistaken with the dates, this news about Bitcoin upgrade came out even before Litecoin introduced its own version of Lightning Network. But I am zero when it comes to the latest updates about it. I hope this will be implemented pretty soon so that Bitcoin will gain more trust.
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin & ALTCOINS PRICE dropping down ? on: January 17, 2018, 02:33:24 AM
Hi friends
Today I visit coinmarketcap and I see almost coins and altcoins price are dropping down very fast.

Anyone tell me what happening ?
Why they drop down very fast ?

Thanks

I thought the issue recently affecting the prices of the coins was just about the Korean government trying to ban cryptocurrencies in their country. But I think this ban concern is also apparent in some other countries. It seems to me that the panic has reached a high level. But worry not. This will not last long. This situation has already happened before with china and some other smaller countries. Bitcoin and the rest of the altcoins will get past through all these.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 17, 2018, 01:35:46 AM
The journey of bitcoin from 2009 to 2017 is very interesting. Although the stories of individuals(investors) are very interesting and motivational that how they initiated and what problems they faced at earlier stages.

In 2017 the number of businesses accepting bitcoin continues to increase. Where you see the bitcoin in 2018?

I am seeing the same thriving Bitcoin experience in the year 2018, albeit apparently in a greater degree. Before, Bitcoin was just an invention people got curious about but starting in the later part of 2017 and in 2018, Bitcoin has already taken over the mainstream spotlight. For sure, 2018 will be a bigger year for Bitcoin in terms of investment. The red days we are seeing now will definitely be a temporary one.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Opportunity on: January 16, 2018, 12:02:15 PM
I'm just like those people before that didnt expecting that bitcoin will be too expensive like now. I have a chance to buy one bitcoin just in 200$ before but i  didn't believe to the bitcoin that time. I thought that bitcoin will not going to last longer and it will become scam after having many investors on it.

A years past the bitcoin price rised to 500$ and im thinking that time if i will going to give it a try  to invest some money on it. But like before i didnt believe to bitcoin again. The negavity are still on my body thinking that bitcoin will be down sooner.

Until this year i got a chance to have bitcoin in 3000$ dollar but i didnt take this opportunity again i feel that im really so stupid when it reached 5000$.

Do you think guys bitcoin will reach 8000$ next year? i really want to give it  a try now. So many opportunity i wasted and i will not going to let it happen now.

I think you really had a good ROI if you ever invested in bitcoin with no second thought right after you write this topic. Bitcoin takes off right from that month until mid December before it went down again.

Actually, second thoughts are sometimes a sign of being scared. And we know that being scared will be the cause of delays and delays are, in turn, the cause of regrets in the end. That is why, if anyone is really interested about Bitcoin, it is always good to buy anytime. Or if they want to really get the most of their investments, they will buy the dip. Right now, the charts are all red. Bitcoin is suffering together with all the altcoins. This is a great buying season. People should not think twice. They should learn to think like whales, ever ready to snatch what the weak hands are letting go.
