2001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever regretted not gambling? on: August 15, 2017, 02:24:36 PM
Yes I regretted few times cause of not placing a bet on sport, and after I see how wrong I was and I regret cause I could take a good profit but I wasn`t brave enough to place a bet. In casino games many times I had a feeling that I should rise bets and cause of safe play, or fear, bankroll control I don`t do that and I miss a chance for very high win. Funny or not I could make far more money on some bonuses if I played it right, but bankroll limitation is my very big problem, I never had enough to play totally relaxed, to not worry about money.
I think this will happen in the future to me many more times, this privilege to follow every hunch and feeling just rich people have.
2002  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make money only with BTC on: August 15, 2017, 10:23:19 AM
I hear many saying they don't mess with altcoins...how do you make money with btc?

Just buy the dips, sell for usd (or other fiat), then buy back in...rinse and repeat?

I'm not talking about long term holding but about how to build up your bitcoin without touching alts.

Thanks

I`m messing with altcoins, and for weeks most of altcoins are going down, most of them lost 50% of it`s value. I`m a holder and I think price will recover, yesterday I bought more on this very low price, but price can go more down, we never know what will happen. Its my experience with altcoins, maybe this can help you.
Just with bitcoin is possible to earn but buy at when its down and sell when its high its not so easy, you need to practice that. Bitcoin fluctuate a lot, I just take a look cause of this post and:
Today's High$4,483.55  Today's Low$4,027.31 at coindesk.
You could earn today 400$ on each bitcoin, if you had 10 you could earn 4.000$, theoretically.

2003  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone who bought coin under $18,000 BTC, will look like a genius soon on: August 14, 2017, 09:57:37 PM
The higher the price is going up, the more respect I have for those who have started buying and holding their coins at the time the value was just a few bucks a piece. Imagine how things must feel when at some point the price reaches the $10,000 level for the first time, and you look at your total Bitcoin wealth while thinking back at their initial purchasing price -- that must be the most satisfying feeling on earth.

How things are going we will get to 10.000$ very soon, and that is not a joke. Some predictions from experts that next year bitcoin will be over 10k are looking very possible in this moment, every day is new all times high, what kind of power we wish to see more. If couple big countries follow Japan, Australia and legalize bitcoin I can`t see that something can stop bitcoin on its way to 10k and later too much more.
Anyone who bought bitcoin will be in advantage, no matter on which price bitcoin was bought, important is that you have it. At the moment early adopters are looking like genius now, for 10 year we will be early adopters and level genius but how we going to call people that are here since 2010? Some wise asses we are here, I hope year will be luck as this year was.
2004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you invest in ICOs? on: August 14, 2017, 06:35:48 PM
I invested in couple of them, I kinda see they have some future, at least some of them. At the moment there is so many ico`s, explosion of new coins, I think more coins appeared in past few months then ever before. Today I saw a thread about how LUST is a scam, one guy revealed them, they had stolen pictures, fake names, everything is fake about them. Thanks for this should go to Jan Marcin, here is the thread about it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2077842.0. People should be aware, many of this new ico`s will turn out to be scams in one moment, so before investing check everything.
2005  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: August 14, 2017, 09:28:04 AM
Yeah, totally agree! Maybe 1% of the people ever heard about bitcoin or used it. But what will happen if 30% of the people know about it and use it?

Sure, the price will rise to the moon, but what will governments do? Will they accept to give up their out of the nothing money printing system or will they try to strangle it? This is doubtless the key question here.

30% is almost 3 billion people, when so many people get involved in bitcoin price can really go to 100.000$ for one btc, maybe we can give more optimistic predictions, if 3 billion people wish to have some bitcoins then price can really go to the moon. What can governments do? Some of them are legalising bitcoin and bitcoin is becoming unstoppable, governments can just regret cause they didn't buy earlier, like all other people.
Bitcoin will become known to everyone, but not all the people will have that luxury to have 1 btc, and how time is passing chances for that are smaller. Buy it until all others didn't hear about it.
2006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] BitDice ICO - ICO Of The Biggest Crowdfunded Casino With 2300Ƀ Profit on: August 13, 2017, 04:13:45 PM
When I filled application for twitter campaign you didn`t have a space for ETH address, do we need to fill application again or to PM you with ETH address?
Maybe it`s too early for this question, ico is far from over, but I would like to know.
2007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: August 13, 2017, 03:52:45 PM
I am earning and collecting bitcoin to bet on sports in future. Will it be a good choice to invest in it betting or other things.Where should i invest my bitcoin to have a long term profit?

I think yes because for me the basic way of gambling is betting and of course dice game because all you have to do is to determined what will be going to hit or try your luck in dice game. Betting is a simple way of playing gambling but of course just like in other gambling games you must set limits and goals in order to avoid being lose continuously.

I will also support him on this, first collecting and saving, and when you get to the amount you planed you start to bet. Winning in sports betting depends a lot from good strategy, and before making any bets its good to
save money and while you are saving to follow couple teams that you like or they are easier for making bets. If you have time, mark couple tipsters and see how good they are in their predictions, later you can compare your predictions with theirs and that is just making your chances higher for making profit on sports betting.
If he already decided to bet on sports don`t tell him about casino games, its different world and I don`t recommend anyone to start with casino games without learning about what it is before. In casino you can lose a lot of money very fast, if you decide to try that limiting is the best option I agree with that. Good luck my friends, in casino you will need it!
2008  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: August 13, 2017, 11:38:03 AM
Bitcoin's relatively low market cap is one factor contributing towards volatility. A few whales buying or selling can make a huge dent in the price due to market cap being low in comparison to the amount of coins exchanged. If the market cap of bitcoin were $1 trillion it would be more difficult for buyers and sellers to make a dent in the price as an overall percentage and btc volatility would likely be more stable.

Bitcoin also being prone towards things like hard forks, SEC rulings, exchange instability, theft and having markets like silk road and alpha bay shut down also increases volatility.

To make it simply for understanding, some group of people can manipulate with bitcoin price. They can manipulate with supply and demand until one point I think, but people tend to follow market movements and they contribute to drop with panic selling, or to price rise with pushing money into bitcoin if news are good.
I agree with you about future, this fluctuations can stop one day when market grow a lot, then it will be hard to manipulate with so big market. With legalization some governments will make some regulations and that
can also inflict on fluctuations.
2009  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Earn Bitcoins on: August 12, 2017, 03:03:35 PM
Except signature campaigns, there are also bounty campaigns. While you are building rank here in bitcoinatalk forum, you need to pay attention on your Twitter and Facebook accounts. If you have some blog you can also use it for earning, writing skills can be used to write articles. If you know how to make videos there is YouTube bounty campaigns. I always suggest people to be active on more then one place, if you have enough free time you can work on many thing in crypto community, and with work and little luck in one moment money will start to come from couple sources.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do? on: August 12, 2017, 01:01:49 PM
How much is the last balance? Once I had maybe 0.15 btc more or less, and I deposited 40 mbtc and played roulette, slots, and I lost, I deposited 40-50 mbtc again and I lost, nervous cause I lost again I deposited all amount left in my wallet, I played some slots and I hit some bonus and one over 800 mbtc. This is what can happen if you are ready to risk with gambling, I had many similar situations and sometimes I win, sometimes I lose but its my approach, I'm ready to risk and that is important in gambling.
When I left with less then 10 mbtc I make a spin on roulette like I bet on some of my lucky numbers, or I bet on sports I make some big odds and try to win a lot with last try.
2011  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is a roller coaster on: August 12, 2017, 07:33:27 AM
Indeed, and we are on the way up right now.
Just keep holding until the top, then hold or sell, sell, sell. lol

Yes. With the current price, I think all of us should hold by now. The price is still going up and I'm expecting it will up until Aug 22 or Aug 23. We may see a few dips, but investors will not be fazed by it and will continue to buy. Only few will sell on this price, may just a portion of their bitcoin but not all. I will still continue to hold my bitcoin and will not sell whether their is a dip because a year from now bitcoin price will reach $10000 so think of the profits you are going to make just by holding now.

Now we are going up, but that doesn't change the fact that we are on a really big rollercoaster. I noticed couple threads this days, people are asking when we will see correction, if there will be correction in next couple days, a week then this is a great time for selling, or waiting just a bit more and then sell and then buy again after correction. Indeed bitcoin price movement can be seen as a rollercoaster, and this ride will last for years. Buy bitcoins while it's time and enjoy the ride and excitement.
2012  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price is increasing too fast, will there be a correction? on: August 12, 2017, 05:42:46 AM
If you need someone to tell you when you should buy bitcoin - you should not be buying bitcoin.

Fear is good. It can keep you from making dumb mistakes. You can't go wrong buying in a bull market (unless you buy at the very top).

We are in a bull market.

We will likely see at least 5k sometime this year.

People learn from mistakes, buying bitcoins even on top is not some huge mistake, sooner or later price will go higher and profit will be there, not so big as it could but something is always better then nothing. Like friend said you can't go wrong in a bull market.
5.000$ this years sounds awesome, but I'm not sure can bitcoin price mark 5k this year. Reasonable prediction is 4000$ for one bitcoin and that is more likely to happen, but bitcoin price surprised us so many times that even getting to 5k is possible to happen, with bitcoin many price changes are possible, best is to buy bitcoins and just wait.
2013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fun seeking gamblers vs profit seeking gamblers on: August 11, 2017, 12:26:40 PM
I gamble for profit, heck fun gambling is useless. Who wouldn't want to win? If I have 1 btc and gamble for fun might give the 1 btc away for free. Gambling for fun is just an excuse for most losers out there just to comforts themselves if they lose may it be small or huge amount.

Gambling is entertainment for most of us, just professional gamblers can think that gambling for fun us useless, but they invest a lot and they bet big time. For me gambling is more fun then profit, and that is not an excuse for my loses and I lost many times, but also I won even more times, that is a thrill. Instead if playing some game I like to play poker with small amounts of money I can't risk much and I can't win something big but its fun what ever outcome may be, just when I win fun is bigger, when I lose a bit less fun but always a great time spent.
2014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Please recommend me 1 best Altcoin to buy on: August 10, 2017, 04:37:49 AM
I have been wondering what Google has been doing in this space for some time and my research has thrown up some interesting points. I know there is no way Google are ignoring the issue of digital currency.
My understanding is that Google keeps strong links to those trusted employees even when they move on to other projects and at times does collaborate.
With that in mind I reviewed the activities of a number of ex Google-ites to see if any have entered the crypto space and viola !
The development team for WeTrust (TRST) includes a couple of guys who were deep in at Google by the name of George Li and Ron Merom. They are working towards a finance model for banking services to be used in the mainstream which utilises the ancient concept of a ROSCA  (shared pot by trusted circle) which is still popular right across Asia. It allows access to capital on a group peer-to-peer basis and is good for lumpy income or special time of need. This is embedded in south east asian cultures. I think the Indian, Chinese and Viet market will go crazy for this.  Think of “village banking” :
https://blog.wetrust.io/how-do-trustcoins-work-593a0c26c478
This will prove to be highly successful as the team progresses this to the mainstream. Reading between the lines it appears that the Dev team may have retained links and/or may even be working in league with the tech giant, Google.  (No proof yet but I’ll keep digging) Anyway do your own research on this one.

After your long and very nice comment I will pay more attention on this TRST coin. Maybe you are on to something here, you found some interesting connections and you even elaborate it. Thanks for digging up this informations, if you find something more please share it here, I will do my own research normally, but I would like to hear more from you. Thanks once again for this nice comment, this forum would be much better place if there would be more people like you. Cheers and good luck, if we all make profit on this coins wr should buy you some nice bottle of whiskey.
2015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of gambling is just on the movies on: August 10, 2017, 12:14:09 AM
The gambler that can always be winning in every gambling games is just on movies, i don't see on real life  Cheesy

There probably are a very few people who have a very consistent win ratio. Hard to find one in the flesh but there are people like that. I read something on facebook about a man banned from entering casinos on a certain state because he kept on winning.
i remember one of forum member here named ethan (if i'm not wrong) have an extreme luck. he have managed to earn hundreds of ethereum worth thousands dollar up to thousands ethereum wotrh millions dollar. i have seen everytime he put a bet on sports he always won it no matter what just like a god of gamblers  that never suffering lost.

In that I can believe, sport betting and poker are the only two gambling games where a man can dominate almost all the time. There are famous poker player that wins a lot of money, in sport gambling there are tipsters that have very high win ratio.
I doubt that someone can win all the time in casino games lucky games are just to hard to win all the time. This is good topic for gamblers that wish to become god gamblers, play poker or bet on sport games. I like to play both but I'm not so good, and probably I will never become god of gambling.
2016  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is your stratety in trading on: August 09, 2017, 05:47:56 PM
There's no way someone is revealing a profitable trading strategy here. Tongue

He's not asking for the magic formula of the trade, but by different opinions on trade strategies. I learned a lot watching how other people do.

Magic formula is difrent for each person, before someone find what is good for him its OK to ask this kind of questions. My experience with day trading wasn't successful in profitable way, but I learned how some things work, my loss was the price I paid for that school. Now I'm buying and keeping coins for some longer period. This way is much easier for me, I'm making some profit and its better then before. I keep coins minimum 2 or 3 months, and I'm buying more in that period if price is good for me. Just never quit, even when its going hard keep going and always try to find the best way for you.
2017  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: August 09, 2017, 04:17:41 PM
Theres a cool and safe way to double your bitcoin, guess what? From trading Smiley , today is the right time to invest from soon to pump coins. You have so many choices, WAVES, ETC, ETH , STEEM and many more. If you buy any from these coins, your bitcoin will get multiply while the coin pumps itself.

Cool it is, safe I don`t think so. But what is safe? Nothing, right, therefore we need to risk from time to time big or small depends how brave we are. It`s not hard to find a way to double bitcoins, there are many things you can do, more important question is are you ready to risk or not? Gambling, trading, investing in casino bankrolls, maybe buying ICO`s and sell it later for higher price, follow tipsters in trading and gambling, but how much is someone willing to risk is individual question.
2018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will registered poker sites ask for id? on: August 08, 2017, 07:38:46 AM
For betonline I know they ask for id, for other site I didn't hear until now. For me giving my id is not a big problem, I'm currently playing poker on 888 and they ask id and credit card identification.
Well there is good sites that do not ask for id verification, one of them is betcoin.ag, then nitrogen and I'm not sure about fortune jack, I haven't been there for a while. I play on betcoin.ag when j play for bitcoins, and they are great you don't need any special registration, just deposit and play. You can go there easily by clicking on my signature, see you at some table. Good luck to all my poker friends.
2019  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: August 07, 2017, 10:50:13 PM
Everything depends from what you aiming for. Bitcoin can bring good earning in next 5 years, how much x10 from now for example and that is 1 bitcoin for 30,000$, is it possible? Bitcoin price will rise I`m positive about that, but I also believe that some altcoins can make x100 or maybe more in next 5 or more years. I`m doing both and there is nothing wrong with that, maybe that is the best we can do. To have a little from everything, depending from your budget and organization I think everyone can afford to buy some altcoin here and there just in case, I believe there are many good altcoins there with promising future.
2020  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Should exchanges be trusted anymore? on: August 07, 2017, 09:09:11 PM
All exchange which is legal/regulated with good reputation can be trusted, as long as you withdraw your money after finished exchange/trade your money and don't use exchange as wallet just like what many people did in past Roll Eyes

as a small investor in crypoto world how we avoid the fee of the wallets.then i dont i always keep my coins in exchanges

Even if its hard to understand what you wanted to say, elaking, you said something that most of us practice. I also keep some of my coins on exchange site cause of the transaction fees. Most of us take care about that and we rather trust exchange site then to move coins all the time.
I also must agree with some members that said that we can`t really have trust in anything, that is truth. I made my choice and I know risks, and each one of us can decide on its own. My reason is that I have many coins holding, and I`m lazy to download wallet for each coin. Well maybe I should think about doing that.
