Die sind gerade Weltweit die Top Meldung, haben das russische Innenministerium erwischt und Krankenhäuser in England, deutsche Bahn und und und. Aua.
Die bekommen jetzt voll eins auf die Fresse und werden gejagt.
Bisher waberte das Problem so vor sich hin, jetzt ist es Chefsache.
So gesehen kann man dem Ereignis auch etwas positives abgewinnen solange nicht mehr passiert bzw. Menschen zu schaden kommen.
Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe wurde der Virus durch eine zufällige Domain-anmeldung gestoppt. Der Domainanmelder hat gesehen das das Virus immer die Domain anruft und hat sie sich gegrappt. Das hat den Virus gestoppt.
Für die Zukunft hoffe ich das das Thema Ransomsoftware damit erledigt ist.

Tinfoil-hat user spotted.  Think what you want, but there is absolutely no love for Bitcoin in the mainstream media. Almost every article is negative, or they associate it with a bad event happening. You can easily fact check this. The negative articles outnumber the decent, more accurate ones by at least 100:1. And every media talking head has something bad to say about Bitcoin. Again, easily fact checked. i think it is good that the mainstream media does not put btc in the center of critizism concerning this ramsomware attack. it could be a sign that they are slowly learning. the problem seems that the journalists do not understand bitcoin. they think it some kind of internet hype. they do not get the technological elegance and beauty. all what is left then for them to write about is the price. when the price spikes and they write about it next day, price has corrected already. when the price crashes and they write about it, price is up again already.... |

Natürlich, diese Menschen gehören auch dazu - und spüren die Auswirkungen der Geldökonomie sogar sehr direkt. Wenn sie nicht springen, wie der Sachberbeiter will, dann dreht dieser einfach den Geldhahn zu. Vielleicht solltest Du sowas tatsächlich mal ausprobieren, dann siehst Du wie toll Du von Geschenken leben kannst.
Ich probiere das schon aus, bei den Flüchtlingen, denen ich helfe. Allerdings helfe da nicht nur ich. Und so läuft es eben doch irgendwie. Ansonsten, ich stimme Dir schon zu. Führt aber vom Thema weg. hm... passt jetzt nicht in das reaktionäre bild, dass ich von dir habe. gut, dass ich mich da getäuscht habe. |

im prinzip ist die masche mit jeder art geld möglich. Ich gehe von der Zunahme solche Attacken in Umfang und Häufigkeit aus. Alle Regulierungsbemühungen haben bis jetzt offensichtlich nichts gebracht. der satz könnte auch aus einem behördenrundschreiben stammen. Daher könnten die Gegenmaßnahmen in Zukunft heftiger ausfallen bis hin zu einem kompletten Verbot von Bitcoin und ähnlicher Projekten. Ich muss leider sagen, ich könnte es verstehen. noch mal ganz langsam für dich zum mitverstehen: bitcoin ist eine technologie. und technologie ist erst mal neutral (ausgenommen waffentechnologie, usw.) ein bankräuber benutzt: handy, auto, schuhe, etc... das ist alles technologie. wenn du hier anfängst ein schuh verbot zu fordern, weil bankräuber ständig schuhe anhaben beim bank rauben, dann würde dein argument wenigstens nicht so widersprüchlich sein. trotzdem doof, aber nicht so widersprüchlich. Bitcoins sind zwar grundsätzlich verfolgbar aber in der Community gibt es keinerlei Unrechtsbewusstsein. ähnlich dem unrechtsbewusstsein in der schuh oder auto community... Schuld sind immer die Opfer. Diesmal wird man sagen, die Unternehmen hätten ihre IT-Infrastruktur besser absichern müssen. Damit ist das Thema für die meisten von uns dann erledigt. Für den Rest der Menschheit freilich nicht. die nsa hat dieses backdoor ausgenutzt, dann wurde es geleakt. dann hat microsoft den patch an die ganz kleine glocke gehängt und sehr viele haben nicht ge-updated. aber schuld ist jetzt bitcoin? lol.
Als Währungshüter hat man auch eine Verantwortung. Niemand in der Community ist bereit oder in der Lage dieser Verantwortung nachzukommen. Die Bitcoin-Foundation war ein Versuch, den man aber wohl als gescheitert ansehen muss. wer war jetzt nochmal der der bitcoin hüter? |

in january i booked some flights to the caribbean for summer vacation. approximately one btc per ticket. yesterday my sister asked if she could also travel with us. i just checked the ticket prices: lol, it is only .35 btc now!  |

Well it's not like altcoins would be accepted anywhere else than at exchanges.
All you can do with them is trade them.
But at the point where you want to put them for good use and buy something, you have to convert them either into fiat, or bitcoin.
And that's the point why I think the alt ralley helps bitcoin too.
A good part of the alts will end up to be bitcoin sooner or later.

I premine the whole thing (100,000,000 coins) and only make 10 coins available. Perhaps I create a marketing campaign and even get enough people to desire the coin that Poloniex lists it. I sell just 1 of the coins for $10. FoolCoin now has a $1 Billion market cap. The next coin, I sell for $11 and now FoolCoin has a $1.1 Billion market cap. If there’s enough demand, I eventually end up selling the other 8 coins for $20 each at which point, FoolCoin now has a $2 Billion market cap.
I’ve just added $2 Billion dollars to the cryptocurrency market cap and have reduced Bitcoin dominance by a few percentage points. But did I really take anything out of bitcoin other than perhaps a few hundred dollars worth? |

grob hatten wir von april 2015 bis april 2016 100% steigerung. von april 2016 bis heute waren es grob 300% was schätzt der werte herr optimist denn, was wir in den nächsten 12 monaten für eine %-uale steigerung sehen werden? der passimist meint: nochmal 300% |

hat aber auch was sich direkt in btc bezahlen zu lassen... letzte woche hat ein kunde einen vapo für 180,- € mit btc bezahlt. ich war an dem tag nicht da. als ich gestern den btc betrag auf meine mobile wallet lud, waren es 248,- €. und heute sind es 268,- € ist natürlich für die buchhaltung viel leichter, einen service wie bitpay zu benutzen. viel glück mit eurem start-up! |

a few thoughts concerning the big gains that lots of alts are showing:
-don´t begrudge alt investors for big gains. let them have their 5 minutes. bitcoin started its uptrend 18 months ago at $ 200-300 and has reached $ 1600 on bitstamp a few days ago. it has 5 folded or even 8 folded, depending where you start to count. in my opinion it will rise further, the end of the uptrend is not near. bitcoin went up 30% in the last 30 days.
-since alts are rallying at the same time bitcoin shows new ATHs it is clear that the money going into alts is not bleeding out of bitcoin. it is new money getting in. every dollar that gets invested in cryptos is good. lots of alts get traded via bitcoin and lots of alt investors will realize sooner or later that bitcoin is the name of the game.
-when alts have reached their peak and tank, part of that money invested in alts will flood into bitcoin. lots of investors will lose their gains and get burned but some of them will try to learn and switch to bitcoin. imho the positive effect for bitcoin will outweigh the negative ones.
