It's not the bubble yet. But to many of bitcoin users today's fast drop can looks so. Bitcoin is just in the beginning of it's history and it's waited more rises and fails. I believe that bitcoin will rise back again soon.
I doubt it will ever rise this much again. We are at a 3 month low and people are more and more aware of Bitcoons inherent flaws and quickly looking for alternatives that DO provide what they promise. Bitcoin is old tech. Smart investors and whales are moving assets into blockchain 2.0 technology. There is no coming back from that. spot on. as always.  |

kurzes update: -spielwarenhändler ist eingeschaltet und prüft gerade die wunschliste. -morgen treffe ich frau n. vom kinderbüro für die übergabe der wunschzettel (die müssen an die geschenke, damit jedes kind auch wirklich sein geschenk bekommt) -wünsche, die der spielwarenhändler nicht erledigen kann werden ab morgen von mir und meinen helfern abgearbeitet. wenn ich Hilfe brauche, dann wende ich mich an euch via diesen thread. -terminmässig sollte das alles noch klappen  ein ganz anderes thema sind die überschüsse. ich werde mich mit elrippo und den gross-spendern hierzu kurzschliessen. ich habe im kinderbüro angefragt, ob sie bereit wären auch bitcoin anzunehmen. erste spontane antwort sieht allerdings nicht vielversprechend aus. hat jemand lust diese gespendeten coins zu kaufen? oder einen teil? dann hätte ich bargeld zum spenden und müsste es nicht über meinen privaten börsen account machen. bei 10-12k hatte ich da keine bedenken, aber 60k sind eine andere hausnummer. |

Wahnsinn, welche Dimensionen das hier angenommen hat. Wirklich ganz großes Kino von der Community. Die Kinder wird es sehr freuen. Nochmal vielen Dank an 600Watt, dass du das soweit vorangetrieben hast ehrlich gesagt hab ich jetzt nicht wirklich viel dafür tun müssen. ein paar posts, telefonate und das war es. bisher zumindest. das dass so gross wurde, das liegt vor allem AN EUCH. euch ist zu danken. danke auch an zicore47 und tomlikedbitcoins |

nächste welle könnte uns über die $10k schwelle spülen. da hat bitcoinminer42 schon recht, wenn er beklagt, dass der € gerade JETZT so "stark" sein muss. eine parität wär mir lieber. dann wären wir bei 20% mehr euro... |

Bullish or too bullish aside, the trend upwards has shown increasing acceleration the last years. So a monstrous blow off top would not be extraordinary. The difficulty is in the price range. Looking at historical extremes (like in the BETI indicator thread), the top mania point could be placed (in comparison) at $41k currently.
So no, I wouldn’t get out too soon. Learned that from 2013.
and I will not watch it go down to $2000 (which is the equivalent of the $200 bottom of the last multiyear bear market). learned that from 2013-2015. on the other hand I believe BETI is a good indicator. and masterluc a good chart wizard. who knows.... what we do know, though, is, that there is plenty of time. the 2103 run-up to >$1200 imploded in slow motion. there was a bounce to $1000 in january 2014. I guess I will not do anything and wait for the bounce. must be the mother of all bounces. |

No, we're going to live, and being poor we'll suffer more... And then we'll die too... imagine price would drop to 5k now. that was the moment in dec 2013 when the original "I hodl my btc" thread/meme was born. (when it dropped to the 400 region). well, actually price has to hit 12k first.  |

I wonder how many bitcoin hodlers will have an extra fun time while going to work today/tomorrow. this is nothing short of historic, and every hodler will walk with pride because every hodler was damn right all along.
so the hodlers will be very confident and on the the other hand very distracted with that strong urge to check the charts.
bosses will not like that. especially the non-hodling bosses (=majority)
imagining the following scenarios:
boss sees you checking the charts, and once and for all has enough of this shit, yells at you and wants to fire you. now, before you react, check your stash:
<100 btc: smile, say you are sorry and try to keep the job for another year or so. at most.
100-1000 btc: tell your boss that you wanted to quit anyway, shake hands, farewell & goodbye.
>1000 btc: tell your boss you will buy the fucking company and take his seat.

Ich spiel das Spiel als Ersatz für Spiel- und Alkoholsucht , im Moment mined sogar mein uralter S3 wieder, völlig ineffizient und sinnlos, aber wer weiß.... deine offenheit find ich erfrischend. klappt das? meinst du day-traden mit bitcoin? |

Ich habe von damals immer noch einige Coins. Eifach halten dann gibt es keinen Verlust den letzten hatte ich im Nov. 2013 für 850,- USD gekauft. Ein Schnäppchen. Mann, ihr seid echt Früh eingestiegen! Lohnt sich für die Newbies noch überhaupt einzusteigen und Euch zu bereichern? Immerhin sind das die jenigen, die den Kurs stabil halten! das habe ich mich 2013 auch gefragt. hat sich gelohnt. es kann sein, dass man ein paar jahre warten muss, aber imho lohnt es sich immer noch. |

was für ein tag. leute, ihr seid die allerbesten. die wette ging ende Mai/anfang Juni los. der kurs war bei 2500 € oder so. ich wusste, wenn ich gewinne, dann wären das 2 x 0.5 x 4k € = 4k €. in den kühneren träumen dachte ich vielleicht schaffen wir die 10 k, wenn ich mich reinhänge und ihr euch als grosszügig. jetzt liegen 55.6k € auf der adresse. jetzt können wir einen spielwarenladen leer kaufen.
da ich seit jahren hier im forum und dementsprechend mit bitcoin zu tun habe, schockt mich, was monetäre dinge angeht, eigentlich nix mehr.
aber heute war ich wieder so aufgeregt und geflasht wie seit 2013 nicht mehr.
danke an alle grossen und kleinen spender.

Leute, ihr seid alle total krank, aber gerade das finde ich geil Das ist nicht krank, das ist respektvoller Umgang mit Vermögen. Krank ist was ganz anderes beide +1 Vielleicht wird es ja noch eine Spendenrallye äquivalent zum Kurs? Und wenn ja, könnte noch eine neue Wette eröffnet werden. Wie lange hält 600watt der Verantortung/Versuchung stand:  die nächste spendenaktion dreht sich um venezuela (kein witz). die geographische nähe zur Karibik wird mir grad im moment erst klar. qwk kennt mich persönlich. er weiss wo ich wohne. |
