AFAIK to use this service you need only add the namecoind dns server to your list of dns server on your network/internet connection.
No it's not a darknet (nothing is encrypted), it's just an easy way to handle dns ownership.

So I can use the GLBSE to sign employment contracts?
For seeing how gpg is used check out some of the contracts/assets, you can see berried in the xml is an xml contract that contains the public key and is gpg clearsigned. http://dev.glbse.com/cgi-bin/list(May need to view source if xml doesn't show) http://dev.glbse.com/cgi-bin/asset?id=d59b25f04a13190c792c3e4199d44e4dce23abfb63729ab269c23d668dd22184.xmlKiba, yes you could, but you would have to write it in such a ways as it's terms are something like: The owner of this contract (that is the purchaser), may use this to redeem from kiba (include your gpg details and contact information etc.) the work stated below: state exactly what you will do GPG clearsign above text. And you would then put that contract, quantity 1 up for sale on GLBSE for the amount you want to charge. and whoever buys it is the person you work for(it also means you get the money upfront).

For those of us mining, watching Bitcoin just got a lot more boring as the difficulty jumped 44% today. That puts my rate of block generation around two days per block (4 Ghash/s). Oh well, time to start building Bitcoin businesses. It is exciting watching all the new users pour into the forum. Some of them are quite talented and are making great contributions.
You should start using the stock exchange then. glbse.com That's where the funs going to be happening next.

This would tie in very nicely with new assets being created on the stock exchange glbse.com
Signed first by the issuer, and then the notarization service.
You could also verify that a contract that is signed is valid, i.e. that it validates with the supposed public key thats being used, and clock used to sign is also ok etc.

The funny thing is someone paid for that.

In Mt. Gox, just go to add funds, then type in how many coins you're going to send, then send the coins to the address it gives you.
Every time I send coins to MtGox, I wonder why MtGox makes me say how many coins I'm going to send. Why not just give me the address, and credit my account with however many coins arrive at that address? I also wonder about this.

Can you give us more information about your system setup?
Which version of python have you installed?

You can either have distributed but non-anonymous money, or centralised and anonymous but not both. There is nothing preventing the two mixing.
For example you could have an Open-Transaction server that takes bitcoin and issues blinded tokens, those tokens get trade about (which is totally anonymous) and then after some time the people cash the tokens in for bitcoin.
As long as there are a good few people using the same server and there is a fair amount of activity (trading with tokens, depositing and withdrawing bitcoins) then it's anonymous.

Why do you need to setup MS Visual C++ 2005 Redistributables ? It is year 2011 now ! Python 2.7.1 is older then 3.1.2I stop installing windows client (On Windows 7) after message (because installation is too complex, besides two administrative warnings before) Was it difficult to use Qt or mono? The issue is that the installation requires the use of openssl, which throws up this error. It is something we will fix, but we have other things to egt done right now.

The exchange is now open for trading.

I think the anonymous exchange I had mentioned earlier would be perfect for this. http://bitcoinweekly.com/articles/anonymous-money-needs-an-anonymous-exchangeI'm not based in the US so we would need someone who is and who's trustworthy to act as the central exchange. I'd put most of my remaining btc into this too. noagendamarket, if you want we can run this under BitcoinGlobal, if you wan't to be the one to head this up?

I think its only down to make bugfixes and add features on the weekends. I see no reason once the coding is mostly finished that it wont be 24/7.
Why not just write the bugfixes/features whenever and only shut it down while updating? Don't try and tell me it takes an entire weekend to restart the code No, not every weekend. I had a bug in the accounting and leaving it running would cause more problems to be fixed. It was down the whole weekend because I have other things to do, bitcoin isn't my life you know (not yet anyway). Normally it should be 24/7

This is for the GLobal Bitcoin Stock Exchange (GLBSE) glbse.com
I'm finding a lot of my time is taken up showing people how to list on the exchange and how to use the exchange, as well as writing tutorials on how to do the above.
What this will involve is me spending some time training you on how to use the exchange as it currently is, to the extent that you can walk users through any of the processes. And teaching you all the concepts involved so you can teach others.
Helping issuers list on the exchange by helping them write contracts.
Helping users buy (or sell) what they've bought on the exchange.
Documentation and tutorials
Writing tutorials on how to do all of the above.
Writing... essays(is this the right word?) explaining the concept of the exchange as a whole, and how contracts work, and also how the exchange is different from other exchanges such as NYSE or FTSE.
Write up the FAQ.
Rate is 10btc per week(paid only if work is actually done) and 0.8btc per new listing.
Post below with questions or pm me if interested.
Training starts Monday morning (Beijing time).
You would probably have to help 2-3 people list per week, and we're talking about 4-5 tutorial documents in total, written and improved over a period of a few weeks.
