2061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Censorship resistance is underrated, move to bitcoin and #DeletePaypal on: October 10, 2022, 06:35:02 AM
I'm just thankful we have cryptocurrency and more exactly bitcoin nowadays, so Paypal has become obsolete since then, at least in my case.
I'm afraid Paypal isn't becoming obsolete, like you say, maybe for you because you prolly no longer use it, but mind you that Paypal has over 400 million users and still counting, thus it is pretty far from being obsolete. Bitcoin is perfect as a way to send and receive funds without censorship, that's if the user makes use of non-custodial wallets, but Bitcoin imo is still a rather young network and cannot make Paypal obsolete just yet. Even if people ditch Paypal for one obscene reason or the other, only a few of them will join the Bitcoin network as an alternative, they'd rather choose other 'popular' options to send and receive funds.

Having said that, Bitcoin's adoption will continually grow and users who prefer censorship resistant options will join the Bitcoin network, but i am afraid that users who worry about them being censored are fewer than those that do not.
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 10, 2022, 03:51:34 AM
Arsenal have yet again surpassed a huge test to prove their title credentials/intentions this season, i know quite a lot of people didn't believe in Arsenal being title contenders, but after their latest exploits against Liverpool i am pretty sure more people would have started believing that they can actually do it. Mikel Arteta is growing a really scary team right now in the premier league, and City must have to be careful not to drop silly points again, because for me the title is between Arsenal and City right now.

Having said that, Liverpool are more or less out of the title race, they are seriously struggling this season and imo Jurgen Klopp doesn't have answers to their struggles, some of his important players picked up knocks against Arsenal, and their next game is against City, it looks like things are set to go from bad to worst for Klopp and this Liverpool team.
2063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 08, 2022, 11:14:30 PM
Haaland is phenomenal breaking records already with just 8 games played he already has 20 goals in all competition, he is incredible.
Yeah Haaland is indeed an incredible footballer, and like Pep Guardiola said the other day, Manchester City are lucky that he chose to play for them, because he prolly could have moved to any other top team in all of Europe, 15 goals in the EPL after just 9 games is somewhat unprecedented, and even if the quality of players around him is phenomenal, he is also very brilliant individually, of course one has to be so good to have scored the number of goals that Haaland has scored, and imo he is currently the best striker in the world.

Having said that, City move into first place on the table while they wait for the outcome of the Arsenal v Liverpool game, i'm pretty sure City fans will be interested in that game as it would determine if they finish the week on top of the league, or if Arsenal will take that position back from them.
2064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 08, 2022, 08:11:07 PM
yet another defeat to Leicester after last week they won convincingly.
I'd be surprised if Brendan Rodgers is still manager by the time Leicester play their next match, i mean, with the rate at which they are going they'll prolly be relegated, and it's much better to do something to salvage the situation pretty early before it is too late, and in these situations it is the manager that has to go first. I understand Leicester are being considerate with him, but i think his time might be running out.

Having said that, i expected them to continue from where they left off against Nottingham Forest, but that wasn't to be the case as today Bournemouth brought them back to their sad reality for this season, things aren't going well for them and something has to be done fast to prevent championship football next season.

I have learnt my lessons the hard way and I don't wish to repeat such horrible mistakes. I no longer want to be super rich in crypto, but I just wan to be comfortable.
Lol, Grin this really did make me laugh, mind you that i am in no way laughing at your loss, i definitely wouldn't do that because many of us actually had to learn the hard way too, it's good you no longer want to get-super rich-through-crypto, there are quite a lot of people that not only want to be super rich through crypto investment, but they want that riches to come super quick, these are the investors that are called get-rich-quick investors, more often than not they never get their wish.

Having said that, i really wish many people would learn their lessons and come to the realization that there is no shortcut to success in crypto but patience, Bitcoin is a long term project, one that is sustainable and has an actual utility, people would be saving themselves the hassle if they can only buy it and hodl patiently.
2066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 08, 2022, 06:05:54 PM
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to join PSG next season. It has already been agreed that the striker will join PSG, and he is looking forward to taking part in the club's history. In the space of a few months, he is moving from one club to another. Rather than becoming a footballer, he is becoming a traveler. PSG is still tracking Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but does this confirm that he is still a top priority?
Lol, i also saw this rumor somewhere else, and tbh i find it really funny, i can understand why Aubameyang left Barcelona, and it was because Lewandowski came and immediately became the number one striker, if the Gabonese had remained in Camp Nou he would spend most of his time watching the games from the bench, so it made sense that he returned back to England with a big club like Chelsea.

Having said that, what i don't understand now is the speculations linking him to PSG, imo, the French giants do not need him, and even if he was to make the switch he would stay on the bench more often than not, and that was the same situation he avoided by leaving Barcelona, for now all of this is still rumors and i think it might stay that way, we'll see how things pan out, or maybe PSG are prolly offering him some good money that is alluring.
2067  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why it’s important to avoid telling everyone about your crypto holdings on: October 08, 2022, 05:26:18 PM
You also need to be cautious of keeping your phones or laptop lock securely so that no one can gain access to it easily without your Consent.
A better advice will prolly be that users shouldn't keep their crypto funds in their online wallet/phone that they use for their day to day activities, such as browsing, surfing the internet, downloading, and other general stuffs, that is a no-no, even if you don't tell people about your crypto holdings, if you are hodling crypto in that way you can easily be hacked by scammers who spread malware or any unsuspecting phishing method, your funds should safely be stored offline, and away from any sort of internet connection.
This is a very good question, telling people about your crypto is very risky, imagine showing somebody your crypto that worth thousands of dollars, after seeing it, all he would be thinking about is how to snatch it away from you.
Would anyone show people that they have thousands or millions of dollars in their bank accounts, since they won't with traditional currencies, then they shouldn't with cryptocurrencies too.

One of the matches I'm looking forward to tomorrow will be brighton-totthenham.
Spurs have to be very careful or else Brighton are going to beat them, there is no doubt about how strong Brighton are this season, just take a look at their position on the table, they are in the top four (fourth position) after 8 games (mind you Brighton have only played 7), to be ahead of 16 teams including quite a lot of top teams isn't an easy feat, i know they'd never finish in the top four, but what they have done thus far deserves an awful amount of credit. I must say Roberto De Zerbi inherited a very strong and compact team from Graham Potters, and it also looks like he also has the same attacking philosophies like his predecessor, because the team never did back down in their last game against Liverpool, which was De Zerbi's first match in charge.

Having said that, Spurs come into this game on the back of a disappointing loss against Arsenal, Conte should work on his philosophies as a manager, a defensive mindset isn't the best, especially when you have quality players like Spurs do, if he continues to sit back in games, he will struggle to win against teams that can hold the ball and move it well.
I don't understand the petition for Haaland, he's a really good player and talented.
The petition is only a joke bro, it is nothing serious.
2069  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: October 07, 2022, 04:14:45 PM
With adulthood comes a high level of responsibility, there is actually nothing wrong in playing video games, or having fun time, but being responsible will enable you manage time for all that, you'd understand that there is time for everything and maximizing your time wouldn't be a problem at all.

Having said that, hardwork is very essential to success, but also remember that there are people that are unsuccessful yet hardworking, so it shows that there are other factors that can cause success for a person, things like luck, connections, attitude, etc, overall i'm pretty sure nobody wants to be broke, and for most it is things that are beyond their control that has left them in their present state.
2070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 07, 2022, 11:09:24 AM
I never expected much from arsenal this season to lead the premier league with more points.
I expected something good from them (Arsenal) this season, but i didn't think they will be the league leaders at this time in this season, i expected City and Liverpool to have started going toe to toe against each other for the title as they have been doing for a couple of years now, but Liverpool are very far from that right now, and City despite being brilliant this season can only make do with second position for now.

Having said that, huge props must go the way of Arsenal, especially Arteta and his board that acquired the players that the coach wanted, doing good business in any transfer market is so important for any club, Arsenal got really fantastic players and definitely their performance will improve, just as City bought Haaland and he is firing on all cylinders, all of that is money well spent. Arsenal have another huge test to prove their title credentials as they face Liverpool next, if they beat Liverpool we can prolly then say the title race is now between City and Arsenal.
2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 07, 2022, 05:41:43 AM
Halland will definitely leave City in 2 year’s time, because Pep will too quit City and look for a new challenge and that’ll allow Halland too walk away too. Furthermore I don’t think that he’ll want to want to play for PSG, so that leave's only Real Madrid that can actually afford him but if they buy Mbappe then he’ll have to consider Bayern or Juventus provided they can raise the funds required to purchase him.
I think the speculations surrounding Haaland leaving City is unnecessary and somewhat annoying to City, their fans and board, Haaland just arrived at the club a couple of months ago, he has also had a dream start to his City career, but just almost immediately the media and football fans across the world are already discussing his exit from the club soon after he just started life there, i mean, if we are to be talking about Haaland it should be about how fantastic he has been this season and not when or if he will leave City.

Having said that, as for Pep Guardiola, he is very much happy at City, he has never stayed at a club this long, and this indicates how much he loves the club and the city, and he has said that numerous times, i think Pep is going to be manager of City for a very long time, he will prolly leave the club as a coaching legend, he definitely isn't leaving the Etihad anytime soon.
2072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 06, 2022, 08:37:08 AM
Erling Haaland has given Manchester City more than they wanted, the money that Manchester City spent to redeem Erling Haaland from Dortmund was in line with his performance so far. Goal after goal always comes from Haaland, he has done a job that is difficult for other players as a debutant in the EPL.
His performances have been pretty much excellent, i'd go as far as giving him a 10/10, imo that sort of performance even exceeds what his price tag was, because for me i think City acquired the services of Erling on an absolute bargain, he really should have cost more than that, but that's City as always doing great business, the way it should be done. Ever since Aguero left City they have lacked a lethal orthodox striker, though that didn't stop them from scoring plethora of goals then, but now Haaland has come and given them another dimension, i know City fans absolutely love Aguero, but should Haaland stay as long as the Argentine did at the Etihad, he will break every record held by Aguero, including the City all time top goalscorer and the most Hat-tricks in the EPL held by Aguero.
2073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Reportedly Freezes Do Kwon's Crypto Worth $40M — Luna Founder Says t on: October 06, 2022, 07:57:46 AM
I don't think quite a lot of people care if the frozen funds belonged to Do Kwon or not, it could prolly be his and he is just denying it to save face, what people want to see happen is for Do Kwon to answer to all of the fraud/scam allegations levelled against him since the collosal crash of luna which caused quite a lot of people irrepairable damage. He denies being on the run, but it looks so to me, but i am pretty sure that sooner rather than later the law will definitely catch up with him.

Having said that, his situation and that of Luna should be a sort of lesson to people who invest in projects just because of hype, many of them (these projects) are basically pump and dump projects, and if you aren't lucky to sell when the hype is on, you might be devastated with the level of crash that will ensue afterwards, and that was the case with Luna investors, sorry to them anyway.
2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 05, 2022, 11:49:27 PM
Haaland contract is until 2027 so very likely that he will stay until then unless there is a really heavy bid from other team which I highly doubt. He is right now happy at City and he finds the team good for his development so it is evident that he is gonna stay here for a long time. Honestly I want him to stay at City or in PL as I just want to see how many records he breaks.
I don't really know why people are all of a sudden discussing about Haaland potentially leaving City some years from now, it could prolly be because of his dad's comments a few days ago, but that wasn't a direct statement to indicate that Haaland won't be staying at City too long.

Having said that, if we are to agree that Haaland prolly didn't intend to stay for many years upon his arrival at the club this summer, he would definitely be having a rethink now when he looks at his stats in just a few games as a City player, he'd know if he stays with this team, he is definitely breaking record after record and his name would be enshrined into the history books.
2075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Popular projects and none popular projects on: October 05, 2022, 11:25:10 PM
If I invest in a popular project does that make my money safe from scams or popular projects can turn to scam as well?
The thing is that most altcoin related projects can turn into a scam pretty fast, sometimes it doesn't even matter how popular the project is because you might not be able to determine if the popularity is organic or genuine, or if it is solely based on hype with zero utility, if you are actually looking out for the safety of your money, then i'd suggest you go for a truly decentralized and long term sustainable project/coin like Bitcoin, and remember that whilst looking for projects to invest in, you should go for projects that have an actual utility, and not just ones that are popular, because popularity can be bought/shilled.

Value Jet Offers Free Flights To Lagos, Abuja, Asaba & Port Harcourt
A new domestic airline in Nigeria, Value jet is offering free flight from today 4th October to 9th October to Lagos, Abuja, Asaba & Port Harcourt.

2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 04, 2022, 04:42:37 PM
Leicester's victory against Nottingham was very important, in addition to getting 3 points, Leicester's players also increased their confidence. So it doesn't matter even if the team that Leicester beat is a weak team, the most important thing is that Leicester must get the first win. After that usually the next victory will come because the confidence of the Leicester players has increased. I really hope Leicester can get a positive result in the next game. Because like you said Leicester are a productive team in scoring goals even though they are in the relegation zone.
I second everything you said, Leicester's victory yesterday will take a huge weight off the players and the manager, it doesn't imply that they are out of danger, absolutely not, they are definitely still in the danger zone, but just to get that win is very important for their confidence and all, and good thing is that their next game isn't against a top opponent, it is one that is within their power to win, so if they can get another win, then the confidence continues to grow until it takes them out of the relegation zone.

Having said that, i don't think Leicester City can get relegated, they have quite a lot of quality players in their team, and they can afford to start really poor but still manage to escape danger, even if it happens in the final few games of the season. It would be a huge shock and disappointment should Leicester relegate with all the good players in their team.

That one they too bro, i guess the money wey person they trade also matters, me as i they so e go hard make i trade that big money wey you call so via a local P2P vendor, even if i be person wey no like to sumbit my documents for exchanges based on KYC matters, i go gats break that rule because the money involved is huge, and even if my local vendor delivers, i no know wetin wey fit happen after the successful transaction.

Having said that, if the money no too much, i go prefer to then carry out the trade via a local vendor because i know say nothing fit happen based on say the money involved no they much, you go know say your vendor big pass the money wey you trade so e no fit reason your matter. Thus i believe say the money wey person they trade also they determine where person go carry out the trade, but the main thing be say make everybody just use their head and try their best to stay safe out there.

As long as Manchester City reach their Champions League goal they wouldn't mind him leaving after 2-3 years.
I don't think so, Manchester City is club that is perfectly run, and for the club it's not only about winning the CL, it is about continually dominating in England and if possible in Europe, i think if City get the CL once pretty soon, they will dominate in Europe, they have all it takes, and Haaland absolutely completes them, and if he proves to be the final piece in the jigsaw, and they finally get the CL with him, i doubt they will ever be willing to let him go, because for City it is all about continuous dominance, not just winning a trophy once or twice; but we'll see how things pan out in the future, one thing i'm pretty sure of is that Haaland isn't thinking about leaving right now, he is playing the football of his dreams at the moment.
2080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 03, 2022, 09:46:25 PM
Finally Leicester City won by four goals against Nottingham Forest,
Leicester City really needed this victory, it cannot be overemphasized how much they needed this win, they are obviously still in the relegation zone, but this victory will bring some relief to the players and most especially the manager, Brendan Rodgers, this win means they leapfrog Nottingham Forest and move up to 19th in the table, though they are level on points with Forest, but they have a better GD.

Having said that, Leicester City would really hope this is the start of good things to come, their next match is against Bournemouth, and it is obviously a game they can win, two straight victories would do their confidence a world of good, and i sincerely think they can get it.
