I have quite a bit of Embercoins and plan to hold them for the long term, i recently have downloaded wallet its fully syncs and ready. I just transferred few hundreds coins and received them in couple of minutes in my wallet. Before i move whole bunch of my coins, i have couple of questions.
1- what happen to my coins if my computer break or window get corrupted, is there any way of back up my coins on some external drive?
2- I am quite new in crypto world, can some body explain me staking in details. How does it work, what kind of reward is given for staking and do i have to keep my computer on all the time?
Can somebody help me with that?

POS Wallets are the easiest things in the world to backup. You just need the wallet.dat file in the Appdata folder. Save that in a folder called the name of the coin. Make a couple of copies of that folder in different places. Then you just download the wallet again, run it for a minute or so then stop it, then overwrite the wallet.dat file it creates with yours. That's how you restore your wallet if anything happens. |

My Tradesatoshi deposit did not show up but my one to Coinexchange did. Therefore, I would be cautious about Tradesatoshi until things clear up.

I take it that there is still no word from Cryptopia on opening up the BTC market for 1337 coin? I was hoping that by now they would just open the BTC markets for all the coins as they are getting a lot of hate right now because a lot of coins are in limbo on there. I think its the right thing to do for now until they sort out what they are going to do with the other markets.
They have about 10 coins I hope they do this with. BTW: what is the "Elite" thing in this 1337 thread? I mised what changed. Is 1337 now called Elite with 20.89%? |

They delisted several coins once they dipped for a while to one satoshi. Then they delisted all the LTC and DOGE trading. But I thought teams had to pay to be listed there so this sounds like a breech of contract. |

They are processing orders now on their site.
If you had coins in your wallet, it's possible to trade them on the exchange. It's not possible to deposit or withdraw right now (or the last two weeks). If the wallet comes back online, your transactions will then register in the wallet and you should see your coins there. But what I'm saying is that they are buying and selling right now. Doesn't their wallet need to be online for them to do that? |

Binance just announced they are reopening registration, but they mainly just have mid cap coins. I'm looking for those cheap high risk/high reward buys.
Coinexchange, HitBTC, and C-Cex. Yobit has been stable but they don't have a good reputation, but people complain about all the exchanges. |

what still surprises me is that up till now , postoken wallet on coinexchange is still in maintenance and it seems devs aren't doing anything about it , what is really wrong with pos wallet on coinexchange that will keep it in maintenance for such a long time

No the doge/ltc markets are just down on cryptopia for all coins currently I would like to buy some more. Where can I do that? At Tradesatoshi there are 1 Sat buy orders but no sell orders. |

Guys, what's happening? I'm trying to withdraw my KGBs and it's reporting "Unfortunately we are unable to process your withdrawal at this time. Reason: 06/09/2017 Wallet issues with Missing Coin Dev".
What exchange? We clearly need to get more action on this coin, like a slack or discord, even Reddit thread. Why can't a pool add it? There are people adding to this thread, which is a good first step. |
