Anonymint has a tendency to go around and criticize everyone's work, while dropping thinly veiled hints that he has the solution. Without ever providing that solution.
Reality check is important part of life and Anonymint is doing outstanding job. I agree. His criticism can be very useful. But the whole "I know the solution, and I'm not telling you!" shtick gets a bit tiring when nothing ever comes of it. I believe he is an honest guy and wants to create in his opinion and knowledge the perfect coin ("the new standard") without giving away bits of info and thus create numerous altcoins pumps and dumps in the process and/or some entity use this knowledge for some ulterior motives. Just my impression. He is a genius but I really doubt he could focus and deliver such a complex project - sorry Anonymint..

Negative. Price turns down due to news or no news, coupled with great dumps that smash the support currently at ~400. If no support is found until 290, it breaks the rising bottoms trend, leading to further insecurity. Also Bitcoin starting to rise dramatically could lead to this outcome just because alts typically follow suit a little later. Likelihood 5-10%.
What is your opinion on the effect of BTC continuing lower? In the past few weeks we've seen BTC give up 600 after staying roughly in that range for a while (since May), and now it seems it might be giving up 500. I wonder what the effect of this might have on Monero. Well personally it has made me buy more of it.. don't know about the others Perhaps this is a rationalized response to the primal urge to sell BTC, which cannot be done due to my resolution of not selling below 3000. Switching to something that is still crypto, has things going, and is going up, is not strictly breaking of the promise, right? Are you open to disclosing the order of magnitude of Monero you own? (as you have for Bitcoin). Of course, feel free to ignore my question (I personally would not disclose it in the public forum). Well, the following statement does not give any new information to the NSA as it is only parsed from public sources with necessary conversions: - With Bitcoin, I have always since 2012-1-1 owned more than BTC2,400 although always less than BTC35,000. - With Monero, I own more than 30,000 XMR but less than 227,000 XMR. The usual "taxman disclaimer": "I" probably does not mean any entity that you can tax.
I hope you have hired some bodyguards - seriously bro stay safe...

...low grade trolling from an intimidated jealous rival... Are you high? I am building the fastest crypto in the world, do you really think I would have any interest in joining some sort of "altcoin network"? I said what I said, because it's like hitting your pinky toe on a piece of furniture - sometimes you just can't ignore it. As I recall, there is your coin only on paper ... Wrong! Disclaimer: yesterday I bought some more Have you ever seen what you've bought? I was not wrong with BTC when it was first 5$, then Mastercoin (did x25 from where I bought, now dead), then NXT (I was one of the 73) - also Blackcoin, Darkcoin, Monero... What are your success stories to challenge me? EDIT: I had seen nothing from MSC and NXT too With you I can not keep up And regarding SIM, you will certainly have done everything right Low investment - super high risk - possible super returns!

A little comment regarding anonimity of a developer:
Whos the guy named satoshi nakamoto who created bitcoin and holds around 1.000.000 btc?
@nxtchang
Facepalm lol
coin =/= IPO EDIT: I invested in NTX IPO (BCNext was anonymous too) The asset we buy is backed with all coins that will be part of the supernetwork core. ( the money will be used to buy these coins) I dont really see your point, can you please explain? Will they? I trust James because I know him (not his real ID though) - but it will add confidence & credibility to the project to use escrow, multisigs whatever! I think he says he will do so with Poloniex, I am bored to read again the whole post to check it though

I really hope no one else saw that. We need to protect this mans identity as much we can I did.. But not interested in his face/id though I would prefer that kind of IPOs to be backed by eponymous entities..

Obviously Fallling is a bit of a dick but the guy is honestly right more than any of you bulls are. Fallling why exactly do you troll so much and hate bitcoin is it because you honestly see no need for it? I finally made an account on here out of frustration because I guess I'm a "weak-hand". I buy 5 BTC a week ago because all the experts on here tell me we should start seeing some upward pressure but all I've seen is my money down the toilet and don't expect to see any actual gains any time soon. My knowledge of trading is very elementary but it appears most people's views on here are pretty out of touch with reality. Anytime you say "Cheap coins!?" because the price is dropping and then a week later it drops some more..well you messed up there didn't you because ya could have gotten them a tad bit cheaper.
There are basically to ways to invest: 1) Buy when there is blood - you may catch a falling knife though 2) Buy in a rally (in the beginning, you should be able to tell when it is worth getting in) - you may get in late Usually if you respect your fiat you choose 2) If you invest what you can afford to lose you go with 1) Don't accuse the 'experts' bro.. Klee - It seems that you are leaving out the dollar cost averaging practice, and implicitly suggesting that investors put all their money in at once or some variation of putting in all your money at once.Otherwise, I do NOT disagree with you b/c it seems as if, here, 2collect is attempting to shirk responsibility for his/her own investment choices and decision-making... and it remains a bit irritating to be blamed b/c the price moved the opposite as expected (at least in the short-term) Not sure that I understand what you wrote but I refer to the amount of money someone has already decided to invest - if it is relative big for him better go with 2), if it is small then 1). I personally believe that dollar cost averaging is better.. so let's say that a person has $5k that he wants to invest. Accordingly, he should figure out a timeline to invest it (whether over a month or six months). Of course, if the market is shooting up, then he would have been best off to invest it all at once (but he does NOT know); however, if the market is volatile, then he is NOT so busy attempt to time the market and to catch the falling knife... Either way, he's gotta ultimately take responsibility for his own plan and to own it, rather than to blame others - of course, unless he has an investment adviser, then he can blame the investment adviser. We, here, in this thread are NOT generally serving as investment advisers... at least I do NOT see my role in that regard... and I do NOT consider others as my investment advisers. Instead, I figure my own strategy and take responsibility for it, which 2 collect does NOT seem to be willing to take responsibility for his own investment decision(s). Got it now thanks, less risky for sure (but less possible returns too).
