Thanks, now I see the problem. It's very strange that I cannot reproduce it for now, but I will try to find the reason and release bugfix asap.
1 estimated CPD must produce at least 20 7ch/h, 10 cpd is at least 200 ch/h 7ch, etc. So if you see much less 7 ch/h values, don't use v10, wait for updated version.

Estimates 15 CPDs wiht 10.0v but reality is much much less. I didnt want to wait longer but yesterday it was running for 9 hours and I got like 1 CPD on average.

CPU single-core AMD sempron 145 2,8 GHz, -ss 3, 3x 280x cards. With 9.1 everything works fine, I get ca 14 CPD.

Confirmed, you have too small 7ch value, for 15 CPD you must have about 400 7ch/h. Something wrong in CPU code execution. Anyone else with different CPU? Right now it seems it is related to Sempron 140/145, I will check it in details.

If you have a problem with v10, press "s" to enable detailed statistics and send a screenshot here so I can see that you have been mined for a few hours with good CPD but no 9/10 chains found. Also let me know what "-ss" value you use (or default), Catalyst version and what CPU and GPUs you have.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: May 22, 2014, 01:54:58 PM
I'm working on further improvements, in 1-2 versions the miner will reach 10 CPD.

In your opinion - what is the maximum possible performance for 280x. In other words where is the limit Smiley

I don't know where is the limit, but I'm going to find it Smiley

I don't know how it's possible but my "block yield in coins" decreased by more than 40% in YPool since I changed the version from 9.1 to 10.0.

Does anyone have that problem too?

I tested v10 for two days on a few rigs based on 290X cards, also I checked it on 280X and 270X for a day. So I don't think it is a problem of the miner.
2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: May 22, 2014, 09:40:38 AM
v10.0 is available:

- Improved speed by about 9-10% for all cards. Up to 8.8 CPD on 290X.

I'm working on further improvements, in 1-2 versions the miner will reach 10 CPD.
2106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: May 21, 2014, 07:28:57 AM
2Claymore: is there  chance of good speedup of "slow" cards, like 270x-7870 - they show 1/2 of 290x speed at other algo's and less in XPM

270X has 20 computing units, 290X has 44 of them. So 270X is always in 2.2 times slower than 290X. Also 270X has less memory bandwidth and much less speed in double precision calculations. In latest version 270X has about 3.5 CPD, x2.2 = 7.7, 290X has about 8.0 cpd, so the miner shows good results on 270X.

Ypool dead?

Maintenance for 1-2 hours, it was announced in chat.
2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: May 20, 2014, 08:19:39 AM
I will release v10 with further speedup in 1-2 days.

Why do you think that you are unlucky? You mine only for 28 minutes Smiley
With your 68 CPD you will find 4-5 blocks a day:

Any chance of seeing a diff 11 optimized miner soon? Finding a diff 10 share gives less than a 5% chance of actually being rewarded by the network now...

I already have v9.1 for Diff 11, but it is slower than v9.1 for Diff 10 since it produces much less 10ch, so I decided not to release it right now. Version for Diff 11 will work faster at Diff 10.98-10.99, I will release it then.

Question:

Any troubleshooting suggestions ?

Try to follow "troubleshooting" section in readme. If it does not help it means that probably your system is unstable for some reason. I have a few rigs based on 290 series cards and they all work properly, I test all versions on 290X cards mostly.
2112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source XPM Pool + GPU Miner (aka. madPrimeMiner) on: May 16, 2014, 06:46:58 AM
I know about 6 layers from C1 & 5 from C2.. after full disabling BT shares, miner shows prime probability 0,145 and 4ch/d with target 11 Smiley

That's funny numbers Smiley The formula itself is good, probably something is wrong with input data.

> Post your calculations please.

Ok, check PM.

I released a small update v9.1.

-Improved speed by about 4% for all cards. Up to 8.0 CPD on 290X.

Freaking great job.... im getting 6.20 CPD per R9 280x

by the way, is there a chance you could migrate your miner to work with beeeeer pool?

what cards?
what settings GPU clock and memory?
i have r9 280x vapor-x and 5.2 CPD

same card but only 4.3 CPD (default setting)

Probably either you use not 13.12 catalyst, or you have slow CPU and many cards, use "-ss 2" or even "-ss 3".

Vapor-x
catalyst 13.12 , 2 cards per rig , slow CPU without -ss

Consider using "-ss 2" Smiley

Check your code, probably you still find BT chains for target 10, if so, you will get more modest cpd values Smiley
My code is Fermat test (I think it's a part of all XPM miners now Smiley ), other code created by MadMax. I found commented code in sieve.cl:539, but CPD calculate code also invalid (it works only with target 10).
What speed shows your miner on 11ch target now ?

My Fermat test implementation is not based on your work, it is faster a bit. But your miner is really good.
My miner shows about 0.3 cpd currently for diff 11 on 290x. However, my calculations show that miner for dif11 will be faster only at 10.99.
What's wrong with cpd calculation? It looks very nice and can be used for target 11 without changes with good approximation. But if you use target 10 for BT sieves you will get invalid cpd values like 0,47. For target 11 for BT you should use 6 layers C1 and 5 layers C2.

Radeon R9 290X with diffuculty 10,95 mines 0,558 block/day (using 10ch version).. 11ch shows 0,47cpd + some 10ch shares (I can say how much shares, no statistics). If shares more than 2, 11ch version more profitable since diffuculty reach 10,95 Smiley

0,47cpd for target 11 is really impressive.

have one question regarding solo mining..

sometime pc crashed or Power off during mining so what we lose?
if pc crashed during mining Diff - 10.7400 and when restart mining its start from Diff- 9.80 and after 2hr of mining diff goes to 10.74
so its mean we lose 2hr mining in one time crashed?

or nothing lose?

You can restart miner at any time, you don't lose anything. You lose only within time you are not mining.

Claymore, is it ok mine solo with Primecoin High Performance 0.1.2 ? Or it must be only official client ?

You can use Primecoin High Performance as well.

v8 -> v9 power consumption jump Sad ~35%

How did you measure it?
What cards do you use?
I see much less jump, may be 5-10%.
