I still have many DCR rejects. Allways above 10% at suprnova diff 8. It is above 20% if I chose diff 4.
The eth performance on ethermine is great.

I guess it would be better with dcr stratum support  Tongue

Will be released within 24 hours.

Miner shows everything related to devfee. It must show "DevFee: start mining" and after 36 or 72 seconds it must write "DevFee: stop mining and disconnect". You can enable logging to file with option "-dbg 1" and then search all these strings. If you see some strange things, please PM me the log file so I can check it.
You can also decrease "-ethi" value to "8" or to "4" and check if it works more stable. This miner loads GPUs more than standard miner so if you overclocked GPUs you should check stability of this miner without overclocking, you can assign only one rig for such tests.
If you think that this miner steals your power you can download WireShark and check all packets that miner sends when you see something strange, it is not a complex task. And, of course, you can wait for more stable version if current version does not work for you, or do not use this miner at all.

By default, for all cards -mode is 0. So you need to specify only cards with mode 1. So it always will look like -mode 1-012.
Here "1" means set mode "1" for cards "012", i.e. for first, second and third cards. No commas, just cards numbers like in "-di" parameter.
Examples:
Want to enable mode "1" for first card? Use "-mode 1-0".
Want to enable mode "1" for second card? Use "-mode 1-1".
Want to enable mode "1" for third card? Use "-mode 1-2".
Want to enable mode "1" for second and third card? Use "-mode 1-12".
Want to enable mode "1" for first and third card? Use "-mode 1-02".
All other (non-specified) cards will use mode 0.

I really don't know how to explain it more.

ok and if the card can't mine eth but only dcr ?

You have to use some different miner if you want to mine DCR only.

There is no way to mine Decred only. Either eth+dcr (mode 0), or eth (mode 1).

i have 4x r7 370 and 1x 7850

how i can mine dual mode for 4x 370 and only dcr for 7850 ?

"-mode" option now can be set for every card individually.

Ex: -mode 0,0,0,0,1

No! Read OP:

-mode   Select mining mode:
"-mode 0" (default) means Ethereum+Decred mining mode.
"-mode 1" means Ethereum-only mining mode. You can set this mode for every card individually, for example, "-mode 1-02" will set mode "1" for first and third GPUs (#0 and #2).

@Claymore I got a few more questions.

1. Do I need to compare the console hashrate for these 3-5% ro they will affect  in the pool? Because in the console I'm getting 0.8% increase which is less then your fee.
2. In qtminer mode for several hours I didt get any invalid shares which is odd. Is these because of the better miner or its because you check them locally and that way the miner is not sending invalid shares.
3. The cclock and mclock is is not working neither on 7950 or 380(rebranded 285 tonga), is there any way to be fixed? I'm using this command:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal wallet.name -epsw x -esm 1 -mode 1 -cclock 1050 -mclock 1500

I really like the other features of the miner and If these can be fixed I will be happy to move all my rigs there.

1. Compare hashrates on pool. There is no way to improve hasrate in miner a lot because of hardware limitations, but I made my miner more efficient than official miner and qtminer by improving other stuff.
2. Currently I don't check shares locally (it can be a problem if you overclocked GPUs too much), miner sends all shares, but does it faster than qtminer. qtminer checks shares locally, however it has much more invalid shares on pool. So you can see the quality of my miner.
3. I will check it soon.

Hi,

I currently trying out the miner at ethermine.org looks OK I it looks like I got an increase in performance on my two R9 290 cards.

However I noticed that no "reported hashrate" are reported, that is suppose to be the current hash rate of the miner.

Is there a way to assign a rig name? Now on ethermine.org Id just say "default".

Overall very happy about the miner, great job Claymore!

All the best,
Christer
Same here about reported hashrate but it is showing effective hashrate, im using R9 280x vapors

Guys, read pool's help, add dot and rig name after address, from their help page:
...
0x4bb96091ee9d802ed039c4d1a5f6216f90f81b01.rig1
...
To enable shares statistics you should enable qtminer mode "-esm 1" and wait some time until pool displays new stats.

Claymore,
Yes i do have better hashrate for mode 0 than for mode 1.
That's why i said it was weird :p
R9 Nano's.
170Mh Eth and 5Ghz Decred -dcri 60
160Mh(barely) Eth solo (same clocks)
I can go to 180 Eth and 8Ghz Decred, also with -dcri 60 but higher clocks.
Anyhow, it's lower when solo mining Eth. So i'm kind of forced to mine both.. Although i don't want to because it eats a lot more energy Smiley

Ok I have Nano card, so I will check/fix it soon.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.2 on: April 14, 2016, 11:12:30 AM
just had some tests with ethi. Doesn't do anything (if i up it.) it only works when lowering.

However when raising dcri, hashrate of eth goes up as well. Kind of weird.

I would be a very happy person if i could raise eth intensity with an effective difference in eth hashrate.

Like i said, the only way i can raise my eth hashrate is when i raise dcri. (Which has no point when mining on mode 1)..

Any suggestions for that Claymore?

Do you have better hashrate for mode 0 than for mode 1? What card do you have? And what hashrates for both modes?
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.2 on: April 14, 2016, 11:01:09 AM
@Claymore ,  is there support for global and local work?

global work is related to "-ethi" option. Local work cannot be changed.

Thanks, one more question. The cclock and mclock are not working on my 7950 mining only ether. Is that normal?

I don't have 7xxx cards here to test. I use ATI ADL Overdrive APIs v5 and v6, if your card uses <v5 then it will not work.
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.2 on: April 14, 2016, 10:58:18 AM
what is farm-reckeck value?

This option is related for HTTP protocol, Stratum gets new job immediately as soon as pool got it for miner.

I let the first version of the miner run on ethermine. After 24h the pool reported 24h avg hashrate was above 31Mh. Then lowering to under 28...
Just variance or something else?
I just stopped the miner and re-run the latest version 1.2. We will see Smiley

I tested ethpool.org with qtminer for about a week, and then with my miner. So perhaps it's a good idea if you start qtminer on same pool for a couple of days and then compare invalid shares rate and hashrate that pool shows. I got about +4% more hashrate on pool with my miner and only 0.1-0.2% invalid shares instead of about 2-3% for qtminer. But anyway this pool shows 3-4% less hashrate that my miner shows, perhaps it is because pools cannot reach 100% efficiency on Ethereum network because of a very short block time period.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.2 on: April 14, 2016, 10:41:33 AM
coinmine.pl not working with this miner nor with "-esm 0 -allpools 1" nor with "-esm 1 -allpools 1" option. Also currently standalone Qtminer is not working too, I got message - "waiting for work package". ethminer + stratum is working.

coinmine uses another stratum implementation, it works with "mining_proxy.exe", not with "eth-proxy.exe". Same for coinotron and suprnova and I'm working on it:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.220
In coinmine help section I see they support qtminer so you could use it, but it seems they broke its support, I cannot make it work with qtminer.

I have radeon R9 380 but miner recognize card as redeon 285. Is that normal?

It's ok.

Pool ETH Nicehash planned support ?

Does it support Stratum? I'm not going to support pools that support HTTP only, it's not a good idea to mine there.
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.2 on: April 13, 2016, 11:05:48 PM
v1.2:

- Added "-ethi" option.
- Added coloring.
- "-mode" option now can be set for every card individually.
- "-dcri" option now can be set for every card individually.
- Added "-allpools" option.

Now I'm working on next version:
- will be improved performance for weak cards.
- will be improved working with DAG files (checking for DAG corruption, less errors like "creation DAG file failed", less fails when new DAG is applied to GPUs in runtime at new epoch.
- support for ETH on coinotron and suprnova: these pools use another Stratum version, I'll have to add "-esm 2" value.
- stratum for Decred.
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.1 on: April 13, 2016, 09:59:27 PM
I have 2 powerfull cards on rig and 2 low end.
So if i mine ETH + DEC on one miner window with better cards i get 2% fee and low end cards own miner window 1% fee...
So 3% fee on 99mh ETH and 880mh DEC. So there is no point to mine on this miner...

3% fee - you have serious problems with arithmetics. Assume you have 6 cards and open 6 miner windows - will you calculate fee as 6%? Smiley
Anyway, don't use my miner if you think that you earn less with it.
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.1 on: April 13, 2016, 08:44:37 PM
Claymore, is that trick works with different opencls like in XPM miners ? I tried from 16.4.1 and it crushed. Maybe it's not supported or even not working in ETH-DCR miners ?

I compile OpenCL kernels for 15.12, binaries may fail in 13.x, 14x, 16.x. So in general I need to compile it for every major Catalyst version, right now I decoded to support 15.x only, though I can create several sub-versions if it will be useful for a lot of people.
I think the question was, if one can have different version installed, but simply copy opencl files from 15.12 into miner directory

Well, you can try, it may work. I have not tried that.

Understood. Can you tell about time of release solo version? I guess it's very useful for some part of people like me)).

I did not check it yet. Why do you want to mine ETH solo?
