@Claymore
I need a parameter saying to miner, if the temperature of a card is greater than a threshold of let's say 80 degrees than switch to ether only mining rather then dual mining.
samething for cold environment, if gpu temp is colder than 60 degrees than dual mine.
Summer is beginning here in İstanbul so this would be very helpfull.
I Appreciate your good work.

Ok, I will add it in next update, it will be available in 3-4 days.

How would this work, would all cards switch to eth only or only cards that are below threshold?

Every card will be managed separately.

Could you make it so that it doesnt necessarily switch to ether only but adjusts the -dcri lower. My cards have about 50W and 5-10 degrees difference depending on the weather between -dcri 0 and 50. It could work similarly to the -tt value. For example if I put -tt 70 and -dcris 0-50 and -dcrit 75 it would first run the fans at 100% from 70 till the temperature gets over 75 and then it would start adjusting -dcri between 0-50 to try to keep the temperature at max 75 just like the fan tries to keep it at 70.

Also it could be a good idea to implement a max fan speed value. I like the -tt feature because it keeps the fan speed optimal at wanted temperature but I don't really like running the fans at 100% even though the cards get over the "wanted" value. I set the wanted value below allowed temperatures just to keep the cards cool if easily possible but I still dont want to shorten the fans life by running them at 100% if not necessary.

Good ideas, I will check them in details.

Hi Claymore,
In the event of downtime of Internet connection from my provider, the miner will stop mining and triggers failover pools.
Is there a way, for CDM to identify internet downtime vs pool unavailability?
For my case, if CDM tries all of pools in the failover file, and still cannot establish mining, I would like to trigger "reboot.bat" so that Windows would try to establish internet connectivity at boot up with router etc.
Does this makes sense, or probably you have another solution?
Thanks

I think you need some separate utility for that, it's not a good idea to put all possible things into miner.
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 10, 2016, 06:28:24 PM
Also, I'm guessing in Linux, you're using Wine to run Claymore's miner? I know that Linux seems to increase hashrate, but does this also happen when using Wine for windows mining software, if that makes sense? I'm just thinking that windows is an inherent bottleneck or something, so I assume it would be the same if using any windows software..?

There is a Linux native version of this miner, but:

@Claymore:
- can you confirm my observations that Linux version has lower hashrates comparing to Windows one? With 7950 I see around 1MH/s difference using same PowerTune, cclock and mclock set externally.
- did you notice that Linux version has some memory leaks? I see around 8MB/s of virtual memory leak using top utility. I can restart miner once a week, but still not a good sign.

1. Yes I see that in Linux it works with a bit less speed, by about 1-1.5%. Unfortunately, I don't know why and I don't know Linux much to try to find the reason. Also perhaps it works with the same speed (since it uses same OpenCL binaries) but Linux port of the miner shows hashrate a bit differently, may be the reason is in timers, I'm not sure. I know Windows pretty well, but not Linux, I just made Linux port by requests.
2. Memory leak means that memory grows all the time. How can I see it?
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 10, 2016, 05:55:33 PM
Confirmed, today after reboot Windows 10 closed v4.5 (on one rig it even removed .exe). I disabled "Windows Update" service in past, but it didn't help, Windows downloaded some update anyway. Damn, how to stop it? It seems I can disable all services and it still downloads all that it wants.

@Claymore:
First of all: GREAT work. We can see avr. gains around 10% on our 295x2 cards.
One little thing left - Your miner only gives temp stats for 1 GPU per card only, therefore can't stop if set max. temp is reached on a non-monitored GPU. We played around with all various parameters with no success.
Can you check that? Will provide any help if requested...
Thanks and regards,
Tender

I don't have 295 card so I cannot check it easily. Have you disabled CrossFire? Usually it helps if ADL finds one card instead of two.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 07, 2016, 06:28:59 PM
@Claymore can you explain this?
I have a radeon 380 4gb on a windows 7 x64 running 15.12 drivers and running CDM 4.5 that is undervolted -100mv, core clock at 840, memory clock at 1125, and power limit -20% for days using sapphire trixx. And it hashes at a stable 19~ MH/s constantly and never above 20 MH/s.
I then decided to change the memory clock recently to 1500 just to see if it makes any difference on trixx and pressed apply, and let it run for couple of minutes, but the hash rate barely changed or any change at all. So i changed the memory clock back down to 1125 and press apply, and now the hashrate is hashing at a stable 20~ MH/s.
I am clueless of why setting the memory clock from 1125 to 1500 and then back down to 1125 would increase the reported hashrate in CDM. Any thoughts?

I have no ideas, sorry.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore CryptoNote Windows CPU Miner v3.4 on: June 07, 2016, 06:13:26 PM
Is it possible to mine another (a newer) Cryptonote coin?
Miner says "unknown wallet address"

No, currently it supports only XMR, QCN, FCN, BCN, Aeon, Duck, Dashcoin, OEC, MCN, ORION.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.3 on: June 07, 2016, 06:10:40 PM
Hey Claymore, any way we can get this miner moved up on your Queue. I still mine XMR a lot but I got new R9 390 and they don't mine like they should given old kernels. Anything I can throw your way I'm sure the forum followers would probably donate to.

With v9.3 I can mine on 390 and on Fury Nano too, I use Catalyst 15.12, everything works properly.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 06, 2016, 07:32:09 PM
I repair my issue with the screen attach (I didn't know that I should include command in bash file)

but still don't know what to do with temperature?

AMD APP SDK v2.9.1 installed...

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of experience in Linux. Miner uses ADL API to access temperature info, if it does not work it means that ADL does not work properly on your system. But I don't know why, it works in my tests on Ubuntu 12.04.

Send me working eth-proxy config, I will see what it sends with WireShark and will tell you how to configure EthDcrMiner64.

This should work:
http://192.168.0.33:8080/rig1
COIN = "ETH"
HOST = "0.0.0.0"
PORT = 8080
WALLET = "9a288c0ec4dc7327536bfd97e6ec780ba31f02d7"
ENABLE_WORKER_ID = False
MONITORING = True
MONITORING_EMAIL = "your.email@gmail.com"

# Main pool
POOL_HOST = "eth.f2pool.com"
POOL_PORT = 8008

This config submits email as a password so use "-epsw your.email@gmail.com"
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 06, 2016, 05:38:58 PM
I know we can mine ETH to f2pool.com by using:  EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth.f2pool.com:8008 -ewal 0xd69af2a796a737a103f12d2f0bcc563a13900e6f -epsw x -eworker rig1

But this can only be monitored by using f2pool's "generic" payout address based page.  This page doesn't show too much useful information, particularly it doesn't show any hashrate history charts.  If you have an f2pool account and log in to your account it is possible to see the charts, but it seems that mining via the method above doesn't have any way to attach your worker to your f2pool account, so the mining data never ends up in your account.

f2pool says this:
You can mine Ethereum with CPU or GPU. Please configure your eth-proxy set either WALLET to your payout address or MONITORING_EMAIL to your F2Pool user name or login email. If you leave MONITORING_EMAIL empty, the workers page is available at https://www.f2pool.com/eth/<account>. Otherwise you can also check your account info on your logged-in dashboard.

Is there any way we can specify the "monitoring_email" in the miner's pool config?  I know we can specify the wallet address, worker name and worker password, but I don't see any option to specify the monitoring email address.

Send me working eth-proxy config, I will see what it sends with WireShark and will tell you how to configure EthDcrMiner64.

I would like to use this miner on Ubuntu server 15.10

I have to wget precomplied version?
How to set export variables correctly?

I install but.. something wrong with coinmine.pl:

ethdcrminer64 -epool eth.coinmine.pl:4000 -ewal adamvp.2 -esm (!) -epsw x
(!) - I have tried 0,1 or 2 but nothing changed.. still below error:

Code:
Received unknown response: {"id":null,"method":"mining.notify","params":["c0ce","0xf3c2d49683d2dcef74f69eb0e0b56584ef1b223e10d3c8684864db6a8eb0e88f","0xc3ddddc8436ab2c5958d2527f3d0d91a9e33c92b59a4fcec4e3523d4bed939e6",null,true]}
ETH: Job timeout, disconnect, retry in 20 sec...

nanopool seems to work, but not showing temps..

is it impossible without X?

And my last question: I installed fglrx drivers.. Are these ok? Or should I use something other?

Use "-esm 2".
Install AMD APP SDK to see temps.

Hello ,  can I solve this
  My remote manager does not show GPU temp
windows 10 x64   /   Dual miner 4.4 Beta 2

Firstly, make sure that the miner itself shows temperature.
It can be if you use RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) on miner computer. If so, use some different tool for remote access, RDC disables access to real hardware properties.

Hello!
First question:
If I restart EthMan.exe, I need to add all my farms manual. It's normal?
Maybe add button save config in EthMan.exe?
Second question:
I add in config file options -r -1 (do not reboot miner), but it options no work, and miner ребут if GPU is dead. Whats wrong??

1. There is "Save" button on "Options" tab. If it does not work it means that it cannot save options there, check your rights if you can write files in the folder with EthMan.
2. Miner cannot reboot with "-r -1", but it will be closed. Use "-wd 0" to disable watchdog if you want to continue mining on the rest of GPUs.

Again, about antiviruses alarm:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.msg14501589#msg14501589
Also some people are trying to include my miners into their botnets (I get private messages about that regularly) and therefore after some time antiviruses mark them as viruses.
Unfortunately, there is nothing that I can do about that.
But, no problem with my antivirus in 4.1 version, 4.5 marked as a virus

It means you use bad/paranoid antivirus. Remove EthMan.exe, probably it causes false alarm.

Can i allow connection only from specific subnet with some miner option, or i should do this via firewall rules?

There is no such option for now.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 03, 2016, 02:12:40 PM
v4.5:

- improved "-tstop" option - if it turned off wrong card (see "KNOWN ISSUES" section in readme about possible GPU order issue), it will close miner in 30 seconds.
- added more statistics for "s" key.
- added "-logfile" option.
- fixed issue with "-mclock" and "-cclock" options for some cards.
- a few minor improvements.
- bug fixes.
- EthMan: added more info - number of restarts, number of failovers, number of invalid shares.
- EthMan: added option to display detailed statistics about GPU hashrates.
- EthMan: added command "Execute reboot.bat".
- EthMan: added command "Edit config.txt".
- EthMan: added "GPU warning temperature" option.
- EthMan: if some table columns are hidden, webserver won't show them too.
