Yesterday on account Ypool I had 65 unconfirmed XPM, today was 16. Payments was not all ... Ypool stole.
Check ypool chat history, it was a bug in stats, a few days ago "unconfirmed xpm" values started showing big values, now it is fixed. So you did not lose these unconfirmed coins since you did not have them. I saw this bug too, my unconfirmed coins were in 2-3 times more than usual and it is fixed now.

If you specified invalid login/password or wallet is not synced you will get different messages in miner. So probably you copied "primecoin.conf" file to wrong folder so wallet does not use it. Or you blocked miner in firewall. - Wallet setup: copy default "primecoin.conf" file from miner archive to "c:\Users\YourWindowsLoginName\AppData\Roaming\Primecoin" folder, then start wallet. - Miner setup: use default "miner solo sample.bat", just change xpm address, don't change login/password since default "primecoin.conf" file from miner uses them.

Ok im seeing Total/Valid blocks 1 / 1 now. So I found a block?
Still no change in wallet balance though, maybe it takes a while to update?
Edit: i'm using Claymore solo edition wallet but in readme it now says: 1. Use official Primecoin wallet with this miner. Should I switch?
Use ONLY official standard wallet.

Claymore, tks for new version.
I just test with 5x797 and 5x795 with di -01234 and I see: 7970: When start, trt point for 5 card is 15x, but after 5 minutes it is 19x or above (slower). 7950: When start, trt point for 5 card is 18x, but after 5 minutes it is 22x or above (slower).
Please test and fix it.
Looks like throttling, I don't see such thing on my cards.

Surprised that the 5770 even works with the miner. It was detected but probably it does not work.

v9.0 is available:
- Improved speed by about 10-15% (depends on card type). Up to 7.7 CPD on a single 290X. - Added multigpu support (for example, "-di 0123").
This version is for Diff 10. In 1-2 days I will release version for Diff 11.

am i in the right way ??
Catalyst 14.4 on your screenshot Even 270X must show CPD about 3.0. Install 13.12, use AMD Clean-up utility if you have any problems with it.

Hello Claymore. Thanks for the speedup. I have one question. Do you planning to add temp target setting in your miner with auto fan option? i have one card on my rig which is a little bit crazy. around 15 C is hotter than others. with msi afterburner i can adjust fan control but for all cards and separately not. All my fans is at 80% cause of that one crazy card. Thanks
Yes. Also I plan multigpu support.

Yeah allot of rejected. ypool Many Orphaned to ... Primecoin network generates new blocks too quickly now, 2-3 blocks per minute instead of 1. In a few days it will work more stable.

Claymore, is there something to be hidden in the Data.bin in v8 of your miner? Your v7 and below has always been using k<num>.dat, which is the compiled OpenCL binary. OpenCL binary is an ELF format file (you can see ELF in the strings if you try to open it). v7 and below, your OpenCL binary is not encrypted but in v8, it seems to be. Was it because you are using madmax - eXtremal's code?
If you are, that's fine so long as you give credits to these great ppl. It is unethical if you are using theirs and taking dev fee for yourself not giving credit.
I had a lot of miner versions before opensource miners and speed of my miner always was comparable with best miners. v9 will have more speed than v8. v10 will be faster than v9. And you always can say that I steal some ideas from somebody, I won't be able to prove anything since my miner is not opensource and I'm not going to do it. But also somebody (who knows a lot about ELF files for example) can steal my ideas so I decided to protect both EXE and OpenCL code. I'm not going to discuss it anymore. I do give credits to all opensource miners - we have a lot of miners now and you can select the best miner for you.

v8 will be released in a few hours, I'm testing it.
hello in v8 r9280x TRT 160 is right? The best way to check performance is to use "Estimated CPD" value: about 7.0 for 290X, about 3.0 for 270X, about 4.5 for 280x.
|
|
|
v8.0 is available.
- Improved speed by about 50-60%. Up to 7 CPD on 290X. - Improved chain targeting: more 8-10 chains and less 4-6 chains. - Added "-ss 3" option for very slow CPU. - Removed "-hc" option. - Removed "-ss 0" option, works as "-ss 1" now.

I have 10 x grid Core 2 duo + 5 cards 795 or 5 cards 270x. With CPU core 2 duo speed for 5 cards is very slow. But with Celeron G Generation 2, 3 is good speed for 6 cards. Claymore, please review and optimize this case for next version. Thanks very much.
What about "-ss 2" option? Is it not enough? I'm using -ss 2, if <3 card it's ok but 5 cards slower, can I use other option? I think core2duo too slow. I use -ss 2 -t 8 for 2*280x on core2duo but Athlone 2 270x handle 6*280x I know core 2 duo too slow, so I ask Claymore for optimize it because I have 10 x grid [core2duo, 4G RAM, 5 X 270) Ok, I will add -ss 3 option.
