I would point a few CPUs to mine for wages. That is a really good idea. A paid team that would give a stake etc. Really good idea.
or better yet. Is it possible to mine Darkcoin with a raspberry pi? I know that you will probably only make a few duffs with it, but it would basically cost nothing to set up and run for eternity. Darkberry pi?

crazy day in crypto, litecoin just lost 2nd place!
You mean regarding price of 1 unit? There are coins like 42Coin who have even higher prices per unit than btc, so price per unit is not really relevant. i was refering to the marketcap but for some reason Ripple doesent count. I dont know anything about ripple so i cannot really comment. I stand corrected, i apologise Always filter premined and non-mineable coins. That's how you get rid of all the coins that don't even follow basic satoshi principles of cryptocurrencies. (coin has to be mineable, nobody should control the coin supply, etc... you know that ripple just increased the amount of coins a few days ago? Just like that, without asking anyone.) A coin you can't mine but that has been completely mined for you is FED controlled money all over again.

My Crystal Ball has been fired out of a cannon, into your face. Yar.
And xpool.ca has fired a few DRK into my wallet today. Thanks for recommending them, it's like afterlife for my "dead" SHA256 miners. xpool.ca, mining DRK with whatever hardware. It works!

Sometimes it feels like I'm watching a stadium full of Helen Keller clones get beaten to death...
DRK is the only sane place to be right now...
Ouch, but true!

Damn, the options you give us involve too much painful sacrifice / bloodletting. I just want to get some DRK by - offering services
- work for drk
- create something
- etc...

just thought id let u guys know, scotland didnt get independance. Ofcourse not. Since when does one achieve independence thru voting and democracy? History shows that the only way to achieve independence is to use force, and get rid of the oppressors. Voting for independence is like a slave asking his slavemaster for permission to be free. Completely pathetic. Such a slave is not even free in his own head, ... even if you freed this slave from his shackles he would just wander around confused asking other people what he is supposed to do now that he is free.

Feels like we may be ready to mount an attack on .0086 level today. Looking for more upside momentum. Next stop .01s
It's a standoff. Nobody wants to sell, and nobody wants to pay more than they have to...

that looks actually very cosy... well depends on the season and drone activity that is.
@georgem Hey I just sent you 1DRK to support your efforts, I thought maybe you could do one of those gifs that look like Dan Bilzerian instagram feed, just to celebrate RC5 is coming. Thanks a lot. So you mean more gifs that will warm you up for your future life as darkcoin wealthy elite? Ok, I will look for suitable photo material.

I got a couple Walter White style one-room cabins Evan can use to be Snowden-Dev if he has to...
lol, you just want him as your house pet. Keep your friends close, and your devs closer? That's a big investment, man, we can't let anything go wrong.
|
|

Buy the dev, not the coin. Go Darkcoin!
"Buy the dev".... I wonder if evan has been contacted by government officials already... ("you got a nice coin here, would be a shame if something bad happend to it") Isn't this curious? Bitcoin isn't anonymous, but its creator remains anonymous. Darkcoin is anonymous, but its creator isn't. The whole world is upside down. lols

I was wondering if it is possible to send anonymous messages to an address with darkcoin. So that the reciever could potentially even read the message within his wallet. Kinda like BitMessage built into darkcoin.
THAT would be so awesome.
I know that I can sign a message with darkcoin, ... hmm... but not sure if this is the same.
My goal is, to one day be able to send someone a serial number (or similar things) back after he anonymously payed me with darkcoin.
Yes. This is basically how the ip obfuscation tech works that I detailed a few weeks ago. It could very easily be turned into an encrypted messaging service. If you have time, evan, can you elaborate a little bit more about this idea that crossed our minds two weeks ago: encrypted messaging service?Combining anonymous payments with anonymous messages, both are equally important to me. Information = money, money = information.

DRK still looks cheap below $300
BTC falling on DRK open source news. The game is afoot
I can imagine a scenario where BTC falls to 200$ while DRK rises to 200$, and they both meet on the way, respectfully greeting each other, but never seeing each other ever again. Reminds me of this hilarious simpson evolution clip: (click pic for video)

This thread is like home sweet home to me.

I've not read a greater affirmation of my choice to associate with no one; there are no good people. Solitude == success.
You can be independent and still freely associate with valuable people. That's what I do. The important part is to understand that good associations never ask you to give up your independence. Bad associations do.

Back when people were calling Evan stupid, I used this analogy.
Pickup Artist with Cerebral Palsy; even if Evan were stupid, persistence pays off. Dumbasses that keep on trying get more ass than a toilet seat.
Relationship with a a reliable partner? Are you coming out in this thread? :-p
Eyes on the prize...
Go figure. Associating yourself with the right people, and shunning the wrong people is like 90% of a successful life.
