Yes please

We were in the process of testing new features on the testnet, and we were passing coins around to other people.
But those were only testnet coins, with the sole purpose of testing the new features.

Please reverse Mr. Spread's ban.

His exact username is
Mr. Spread

The retards have banned Mr Spread for 14 days. What a pack of wankers.  Cheesy

Man, never had so much action happen with a coin ever.

Everybody, try and contact the moderators here and explain the situation.

Join the testing at Spreadcointalk: http://spreadcointalk.org/index.php?topic=37.new#new

please, give my server some love! Everybody (except trolls) is welcome.

Ah shit, they thought we are giving coins away? Which is against their rules.

They didn't even care that those are just testcoins.

Funny... they allow trolls but no real testing....

Since last year they banned all coin giveaways from the forum.

They probably thought that's what we are doing.

Is anyone still able to access the testing thread?

Nope.  Angry

TPTB strike!

Wow.  How lame is that?  Off to Spreadcointalk we go.

Why not do so from the start, come to mama!

No, I was on page 4 reading, what's going on?
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SpreadCoin - Masternodes Testing on: January 27, 2015, 07:23:45 PM
Block generation has slowed down to its normal value, it will now take around one hour to elect new masternode.

I want to sent SPR from my wallet to wallet[testnet] and when i click send the adress appear with red and don't send anything need help

Are you trying to destroy your coins?

SPR and testSPR are two different coins.

Will someone update me on what is happening in the Spreadcoin world? What is going on with the masternodes and is there anything I can do to contribute?
You can help with testing: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=938222.new#new

Yes, this is so awesome. And I almost missed the party, damn.

Here is a screenshot of almost 18hrs of mining...

Your hash rate is very low : 3.4 kh/s and not 3.4 mh/s : what is your graphic card ?
At this rate, you will take an eternity to find a block.
Try others settings.

I thought that the 3.438Kh/s implied that the decimal was 3000KH which is 3MH

It would need to say 3,438 KH/s  (comma) to be 3.438 MH/s (dot)
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: January 27, 2015, 10:21:02 AM
I've mined for ages at 3.4mh/s and still nothing, yet the only way is to solo mine Huh

Even your 3.4 mh/s help the decentralization process very much. I plan to mine with this amount of Hash too soon.
Not because I expect to find many blocks, but because it will help the SPR I bought to keep their value, and it will help the decentralization process.

So you have 0.1% of the total hashrate in your control, look at it this way. Keep that up, and buy SPR while they are cheap.

EDIT: if you have an account with a legacy bank you need to pay a monthly fee.
With cryptos you have to pay this fee too, in the form of hashing equipment and electricity. That's how I look at it.

Good morning all from UK  Smiley
My windows machine is ready for MN testing  Cheesy
Good evening from Australia. My laptop is ready for tomorrow.

Can someone please give me some testnet coins once they have enough, because my laptop sucks.

Difficulty in the upcoming testnet version will increase 1/1000 of normal and start from zero, so you will be able to mine even with pencil and paper, lol

So don't worry, you should create 1000s of coins by just letting your laptop run for a few hours.

change the comment a couple of times mate Wink ...

hehehe ... i like the grandmothers basket one best Wink ...

haha, I need a coffee!  Cheesy

EDIT: wait, if I am not mistaken we should be able to create about 10000 coins within 24 hours, so this should be enough coins for atleast 100 masternode testers.

Gitian builds take sooo loooong time and if something went wrong you need to restart them from the beginning. Anyone needs Linux builds for testing masternodes or Windows is enough? Source will be available so you will be able to build them yourself.

no problem, we can compile ourselves.

What I don't get:

What is so bad about pool(s) ? Smiley

A while ago I saw an interesting discussion :

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=911394.0

"Did pools scare satoshi away?"
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: January 26, 2015, 06:56:47 PM
I really need to stop reading this thread, I have coding to do... but for some reason, it's hard to stop.
I know right lol I woke up and had 5 pages of this nonsense to read through lol I find it quite hilarious the lengths that people will go through to score some cheap coins hahaha But at the same time it is pretty sad to know that people resort to bashing coins to score cheap coins for themselves but I guess that's Crypto for you! I am not complaining though because I was able to almost double my SpreadCoin stash since the FUD began Smiley

It's amusing and sad. Best part is, attacks like this on some coins could cause permanent damage - which would leave the attacker bagholding. This means they'll probably only attack coins they think are strong and can handle it - almost a compliment.

that's why we need to mitigate their damage.

Everybody: Never quote a troll directly.
If you really want to quote them, dismantle the quote and replace it with a placeholder (be creative)
Put them on ignorelist as soon as possible.

Holy shit, did HippieTech REALLY just think that was a virus warning?  HOLY FUCK!  HAHAHAHAHAHAH.  I took screenshots in case he edits that out.

Oh god...

This isn't even funny anymore... it's just tragic.... a case for an asylum.
Put him on ignore too... don't need no distraction for the next few weeks.
