I was wondering if I can do an origami art?
...
You can also try reviewing all the previous art submission to give you an idea of what you're going to do with your origami art. Here are few of them.

...

Once I win with a song, so, any piece of art is valid if it follows the rules. And one of the main rules is to make some Roobet related artwork. It needs to have the Roobet logo or the kangaroo. If you have the right elements and follow the rules then your artwork should be eligible and that applies to origami too.

You could start with a paper sheet with Roobet's logo, and make an origami kangaroo, that would be a nice way to participate in the next one Wink
2142  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Complete!] Bitcoin block data (550 GB): inputs, outputs and transactions on: March 08, 2022, 05:51:22 PM
Hello LoyceV.

After reading the thread I see you are having problems with the amount of data and the way to share it, and I was thinking about a solution or how I would do it.

You need a VPS with a huge disk and unlimited band bandwidth, and those aren't cheap at all, but I know a cheap way to handle this.

You can buy a laptop (workstation) with a 1TB SSD and configure it as a server with NO-IP. This way your bandwidth will be limited only by upload and download speed, but not for the amount of data. And you can run the server in your house.

If you like the idea and want some help with the server configuration just let me know.  Wink
2143  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you suggest a crypto spoortsbookmakers with a diposit bonus? on: March 08, 2022, 05:12:59 PM
That's a common promotion, but you have to be aware that there is a rollover requirement, and it's not easy to exploit the promotion.

Users need to be sure about the promotion and their requirements before making the deposit. Most of the welcome bonus has a rollover and a profit limit. So, if you are playing with the casino money you will not be able to win a lot.

I would recommend OP to play with his own money, that way you will be able to withdraw your money when you want and you will have the chance to win huge amounts.
2144  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a programmer to audit a code - Paid in $20 btc or doge. on: March 08, 2022, 04:06:47 PM
Hi, I’m looking for someone trusted in these parts to look over some code for me. It's a liquidity trading bot  for pancake swap, but I’m a bit skeptical of how cheap it was. It seems legit but I fear it may be a scam bot, especially since it seems to be quite easy with these.

From what I read,  the scam they pull  is they swap the return address from the one linked to the contract, but one you don’t have access to. I think it’s written in python but compiled in solidity. I just need someone that can assure me it’s not just sending any deposits to an alternative account.

We need to take a look at the source code to verify how it works, if the code it's in solidity then you can try the bot with a low amount and then take a look at the smart contract. But remember, all the coins in your wallet will be at risk if you try that. That's why the right way to do it is on a virtual machine with a new wallet just for testing proposes.

Here are some sources:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/70356/is-it-possible-for-a-user-to-see-the-solidity-sour.html
https://etherscan.io/verifyContract

Before running any cheap bot you should be sure that you understand the code and the process, because a lot of people get hacked every day by running random codes, so, please don't be one of them.
2145  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Stop Accepting Visa & Mastercard Cards in Russia on: March 08, 2022, 03:30:11 PM
Binance will stop the acceptance of visa and mastercards in russia. Does this mean that they do not want the russians to convert their money into crypto or are they planning to completely ban the exchange for the russian users ?

CZ told that this move was not in their control meaning there was external pressure on binance for this action ?

More details:-
Binance To Stop Accepting Mastercard, Visa Cards in Russia

As Binance mentioned, this is not a Binance-Russia problem, they will allow the Russian users, but Binance and Mastercard get banned in Russia as part of the sanctions. You can read more about the ban in the next article posted in the guardian.

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/mar/06/russians-visa-mastercard-ban-domestic-purchases-mir

I think this applies not only to Binance, other exchanges will get affected.
2146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 08, 2022, 05:09:48 AM
Just curious if there have been word from UFC heads (or from other MMA organizations) or any speculation floating around to completely block Russian fighters in light of the ongoing conflict. Most sports organizations have already done so including boxing. It would be so bad to strip someone's hard fought belt because of their nationality.

Looks like there will be some problems with the next fight in London. Dana White wants to have the Russian fighters there but he smells the troubles coming.

In this interview he talks more about the topic:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJkZPNfKJBY

And Dana even Jokes saying he has Trump's number, but he doesn't have Biden's phone to talk with him to let the fighters do their job.
2147  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: March 07, 2022, 07:56:07 PM
...
Signup bonus usually comes up with the wagering requirements. You need to wager a particular amount before you are eligible for the withdrawal of that bonus. Even if we consider it legal, to create as many accounts, no one can't be lucky to retain all the balance in gambling in order to fulfill the wagering requirements. He will lose money and most of the accounts will be zero.

If he is lucky to survive and make money, he can withdraw but there is a likely chance that gambling sites will find it fishy that many accounts are being made from a single IP and they may ask for KYC for suspected cases.

This is right, most of the casinos that offer a welcome bonus have the policy of 'one account per user', and if they find someone cheating they will freeze all the accounts.

Users can get caught by their IP, but cookies can make this job too.

Provide any proof that Craig Wright is not Satoshi

Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=np7mIOaVIFU

Vitalik Buterin and Lex Fridman have this good explanation about why Craig is not Satoshi. Craig wasn't able to sign transactions with satoshis addy, that would be the right way to prove he was Satoshi, but he couldn't prove it.
2149  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoin donation anonymously on: March 07, 2022, 05:27:01 PM
If the goal is to get the donations anonymously then you should consider another coin like Monero where transactions can't be traced.

I don't get clear why they want to store the bitcoin donation online, that's not the secure way to handle this. All the donations should go to a cold wallet and then send them to a hot wallet when you will spend those donations. That's would be the secure way.
2150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: March 07, 2022, 04:52:55 PM
Mining has a cost and isn't fast to recover your investment. I would recommend buying the coins and holding them until the price bump. That's the right way to make a nice profit with cryptos without a hard effort.

You should consider mining only if you can make a huge investment and only if you have cheap electricity.
2151  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin-instant credit?? on: March 06, 2022, 01:48:24 AM
There is a problem with the instant credit on bitcoin and other altcoins. Users can abuse this with a double spend, the users can do some fast bets and if they win they can wait for the confirmation, and if they lose, they can make a double spend for a new address.

And that's why most of the crypto services always ask for 1 or more confirmations before you can use your balance.
2152  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: March 04, 2022, 10:23:34 PM
As you mention, there have been a lot of Vulnerabilities in the past. I have personally reported vulns is some gambling sites, the ones I remember was:

2.- Prime dice
Some years ago this casino gets an update where each time you make a withdrawal you get back 0.0001... so if the min withdraw was 0.001 then you could earn easy money with this. I depo 0.1btc to my account, then send a tip of 0.001 to a second account and withdraw it. i get 0.0001 back, then I send another 0.001 tip and now withdraw 0.0011, I get back 0.0001, and I repeat the process a lot of times. Before I finish with the starting 0.1 the site blocks my account with close to 0.03 on it. and I never recover that money. I was just getting information to report the bug, ut for them I abuse the system and they never give me my money back.

Just saying, what if the bug itself was intended for instances like these. They will create such bug and trap somebody who notices it, and by the time they put more bitcoin and withdraws it, that moment they will send you the notice of abusing the system. I am not accusing them for that but is there a chance we can counter something like this if these was positive? Just expressing my thoughts though, nothing personal and would gladly read some answers.

Well if you want to read the full story here is the old thread from 2014:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=800264.0

There I explained 3 bug and how users can exploit them, the intention was to give a warning to the casino, and after that they fixed the bug.

The answer I got from Stunna was:

Quote
There's a difference between responsibly reporting a bug and getting caught abusing one.

But he was right, I should report it in the moment I found it.
2153  Economy / Gambling / Re: [GUIDE] 10 complete steps for new casino into this forum on: March 04, 2022, 04:44:00 PM
Quote
1. You need to have a lot money to start.

What about token casinos, they print the money with an smart contract and use that for the game. I don't think people really needs a lot of money to start a casino, with smart contracts we can get a cheap bankroll.

Quote
3. Create announcement with well organized design.
4. Various advertisements.
5. On forum advertisements.

All these points are part of Marketing, and marketing it's one of the most important things for the casinos, that's how they get new customers.

Quote
8. Get a gambling license.
Some casinos don't have one, and that doesn't make for them scams. A good provably fair engine can cover a lack of license
2154  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Alpha Challenge 815.85631744 BTC on: March 03, 2022, 07:59:23 PM
Looks like a lot of people are asking how legit is this challenge. I know this is the bitcoin forum and crazy stuff happens here.

We can focus on the evidence:

Everyone,  The op is my uncle. He suffered from cancer and chose euthanasia after posting. I hope you don't treat him so harshly.
About the private key, I don't know either, I only help him with listings on opensea.
According to his will, I will do the following things next
1:Maintain the opensea project until someone cracks it
2:Half of opensea's income will be donated and the other half will be sent to the above address
3:There are 7 reminders left, one will be released every week

Even I have been trying to solve the puzzle we are not sure this is legit, OP hasn't posted anything about the opensea account and he is not promoting it (yet). But if this giveaway takes that direction is would be really sad for all.

I want to offer a deal for OP. Give me all the hints and if I can find the key you will keep 700btc, I will keep 15.85, and the rest will be shared with the forum community. I mean 100BTC for the community is a good deal for all.

Sing a message with the addy, or share all the clues, just prove this is real.
2155  Local / Español (Spanish) / Metamask Restricciones en Venezuela on: March 03, 2022, 07:42:19 PM

You have 63 characters in both strings

You are right, after taking a look again at the image and the missing chart was an X

9F73E7XXXX10XXXXXXB6E10CFXXXXXXXXC2XXXX7XXX2B39B027XXXXB7XDF237A

After looking to the new hint:

Tip 3: "V" = "verify" = 7

I see there is only one V in the puzzle, so my prediction is that seven go to the next spot on yellow.

2157  Economy / Gambling / Re: BustabitWin.com | Crash Game Bonus of 100% of the Deposit Amount 🚀🚀🚀💥💥💥 on: March 03, 2022, 02:44:47 PM
...

That's just unbelievable for a new site to give the payout to one of its bettors this high, if your a player do you think they will give you a payout like this, the developer will just run away...

If you think this is unbelievable then we should talk about the user who already get in profit 679.5BTC

Looks like OP will have to show us proof of bankroll if he really wants to move on with the casino. Because such big numbers are just hard to believe.
2158  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's the new big Cryptocasino to use for a UK player on: March 02, 2022, 08:10:51 PM
well, their TOS are clear:

Quote
JURISDICTIONS. Persons located in or reside in Australia, Belarus, Cote D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Cuba, Curacao, Czech Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, France, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, Lithuania, Netherlands, North Korea, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sudan, Syria, United Kingdom, United States or Zimbabwe (the "Prohibited Jurisdictions") are not permitted make use of the Service.

If you use a good VPS and they don't realize where are you from then you shouldn't have a problem. But if you tell them you are playing in the UK then they can ban your account and freeze your money.

Source: https://stake.com/policies/terms

I try to find a crypto casino allowed for the UK, but looks like they don't are bitcoin-friendly, looks like a VPS is the only solution for you right now and there will always be a risk involved.
2159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Impact of Ukrain Bitcoin Donation and Support. on: March 02, 2022, 05:19:52 PM
The question here is, what do we call support? It could be food, water, transportation to a safe zone, and weapons to defend their country.

It would be nice to know where are all those donations going because I feel a big piece of cake is used for fighting equipment, and since bitcoin and cryptos are involved in this we can call it the first Crypto-War.
2160  Economy / Gambling / Re: BustabitWin.com | Crash Game Bonus of 100% of the Deposit Amount 🚀🚀🚀💥💥💥 on: March 02, 2022, 05:07:02 PM
*SCAM ALERT*

We can't trust a new casino with a leaderboard like the one you have.

Is hard to believe you have a user with a max win of $16,508,234 on a single bet. And it's funny how we get free 0.01BTC when we join the site, but we need to create an account to play. The next step will be to make a depo to verify our account and be able to withdraw our millions, but there is where people get scammed.
