Theymos, can you tell us whether you control the ~675 BTC currently in GBLSE address 1FX22c76vybHJSJdCCjKHDHhcMDhDX87nw, or if Nefario does (or none of the above)?

I am seeing conflicting information.

I hold ~800 BTC in "anonymous" user funds. It doesn't belong to anyone in particular. If I had the GLBSE user database, I would send this BTC proportionally to all GLBSE users.

Nefario has, I would guess, 4000-8000 user BTC in total.

MtGox had a ~9000btc volume spike in one hour yesterday, I'd say Nefario has 90k USD not 8000BTC

based on what evidence?

What evidence for the phrase "I'd say"?  My thoughts and opinions.  I don't need "evidence" to say my opinion and speculation.

My evidence that he is scamming everyone?  A friend tried to "invest" ~150BTC and wasn't able to because of an error with the website, emailed Nefario who responded that he "fixed" the problem and try and send again.... 5 minutes later the website was shutdown with the index page replaced.  Looks like my friend had the unfortunate experience of sending money during the time he was shutting everything down, he actually re-enabled the site just to get that extra BTC and then shut it down immediately after.

If he was shutting it down due to legal issues, why would he accept ~150BTC 5 minutes before turning out the lights?

The writing is on the wall folks, this is just the latest scam in bitcoin history.

That alone should get that scammer tag assigned and be enough to stop him from getting the btc from theymos. Do you have the tx?

Something the SEC Agent seems to have forgotten. The government agency he happens to work for is a  9-5 gig. You were posting at the asscrack of the night 12-3amish and would have had to been on EST. And they dont generally allow overtime. Unless your working off the clock in which case you risk losing your job.
2144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: October 07, 2012, 05:04:23 AM
Dont forget to sell 1,000 btc at ~11.80 and then not lose a freaking ton on the fees, they would have to wait for the price to go down to 11.70 roughly to breakevenish. So.... if they are doing it with forethought, we may not have seen the bottom yet.
2145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SealsWithClubs Affiliate Program - 20% for life on: October 07, 2012, 04:59:26 AM
I would affiliate your site on my faucet if it didnt benefit Micon. I dont support bullies, even internet ones. Or Micon can learn some tact and be polite to people on the forums and issue an apology to the people he insults constantly even by proxy.

jasinlee, I always want to hear how I come across to others.  hit me up on skype: bmicon  - I'd love to talk to you about this.  I am always working on improving myself, and I certainly admit to small missteps in handling myself on these forums from time to time - I get too emotional at times when discussing our beloved bitcoin.  I don't believe I'm "bullying" so much as "standing up to the bullies" when it comes to my work in Long-Term offers, and I do hope you contact me privately because sometimes I do not come across on the internet how I meant it to be.

It will be our early affiliates that make the big, monthly reoccurring btc.  Don't miss out on that revenue stream!

But you see here is the problem I have, this is a well thought out discussion. But no apology or regret is in this statement and then you state you stand up to bullies. Freemoney is going to get hurt by your reputation. If I were you Micon, I would start a new btctalk account. And then build up a reputation as someone that is worth listening to, as it stands you advertising sealswithclubs will not really benefit anyone much as I am sure you are aware you have made it onto a lot of ignore lists. Stop doing these 3 things for a week and I will ask sealswithclubs if they would like to work together (i actually have a few of sites not just the one).

If you feel you have a valid point to post in a thread that isnt yours instead of derailing it. Leave your message or statement. Then stop badgering people. Really its a good idea to build up a business without the reputation as a troll.

Stop instigating people into arguments with you about how freaking great you are, yeah we get it you play poker and you may win sometimes but that does not justify self glorification on any post you make. Note your early response about how you actually stand up to bullies.

You dont have to name drop sealswithclubs constantly, thats what a signature is for, you can post threads and such like everyone else does in service announcements or discussions. But to me it just makes it look like spam.

If you can behave as good as lets say bitcoin.me (no offense bitcoin.me) he  trolls a bit but sometimes makes good points and to me isnt too excessive. Then I would consider my site being even a little bit associated with the project you are supporting.

Did this just get added to GBLSE?

We will begin retuning bitcoin once we have recieved all coins from the GLBSE treasurer that manages the GLBSE cash reserves. BitcoinGlobal (GLBSE's partent company) shareholders and board voted for them to be returned immediately, we are awaiting compliance with this order.

Im confused, didnt theymos say they want to agree to this too?

This was there when the statement was first posted.

Nef is using strong words to try and get Theymos to give him these monies, which are really our monies.

IMO, any monies he sends to Nef we can all kiss goodbye.

I want for Theymos to step up, and agree to manage the dispersal of customer funds.  He has shown himself to be far more forthright than mr. Nef, and is treasurer after all.  Giving over the treasury funds to Nef now after all that has happened is highly unlikely to result in a happy ending for us users IMO.

Theymos, I understand that your position sucks, and you just want out of it, like you did even before this whole situation exploded.  Unfortunately, you're our only hope, and the funds that you hold are valuable leverage.

Please do not give our monies over to Nefario!  Instead, demand a copy of the user database, and manage the dispersals yourself, as a proper Treasurer should.

No GLBSE coins not users coins.  He hasn't touched a single satoshi of users monies.  He hasn't even paid a penny in legal fees yet.  It's only fair that GLBSE (profit) coins should used to solve GLBSE legal problems.  Nafario as already lost the way he made his living.  Expecting him to cover GLBSE legal fees personally to benefit the other shareholders or else a scammer tag deserves a scammer tag.

Matthewh3 - Why are YOU making these claims and not Nefario (btw you mis-spelled his name twice above).   I remember when people claimed to be talking to Pirate and how it was all good and nothing is wrong.  Nefario should be making these statements, not you unless their is some reason we don't know that makes this the case, then, please do tell.

Yes, this does look highly suspect. If we want to hear an reassuring word about glbse's reliability, moral value, ethics blah blah blah, I am sure someone will stick their hand up one of their puppets arse and do exactly that....oh wait.

In the case of Micon, there are ways to have logical discussion and explain your point of view. Micon did it the wrong way, and in the process made almost everyone hate him, and then joined up with sealswithclubs and as a result tainting their image along the way IMO. Other users that a lot of people "hate" joelkatz, phinneaus gauge, loupgaroux, all of which (and there are others those are just off the top of my head) are often hated on the forums but have excellent arguments and tend to reveal angles we had not considered. Micon could have gone this route and earned much needed clout, instead he made almost all of us hate him with his belligerence.

Cant tell, FUD or Micon with a new strategy.
2152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin scams on: October 07, 2012, 01:17:11 AM
I began visiting this forum a few months ago, and since I have been here I have been baffled by the proliferation of banking and security scams and frauds. Every "business" I have looked at has been nothing more than a poorly hidden scheme to seperate fools from their money.

So, why do you think scams are operated so freely here? Lack of moderation on the forum? A community to greedy to care? Is it just the anonymity and the (until recently) lack of punishment and law enforcement?

Why shouldn't the forums (and bitcoin overall) be shut down? Why shouldn't a central authority be set up to tackle the frauds that are so endemic in this community?

Right, the SEC and all government agencies always let every person know their intentions in public in advance all the time.

Hey you drug dealers in the house there, btw just thought you might want to know, there is a possibility since I have been watching you for a while now that I just might raid your sometime VERY soon. Just sayin.

Micon - "I am not the law, but my parents were siblings" *

*Yes I am fighting him at his level, perhaps then he'll leave?

It's funny how you insult people by calling them "inbred", implying some kind of intellectual deficiency.

Don't you see how ridiculous that is when those you insult still have all their coins, yet you were dumb enough to invest in every single ponzi available?

If you had listened to Bryan Micon instead of insulting him, you would still have your coins. Now, because you were so ignorant and unwise, you have lost god knows how many.

Micon is a little bit crazy. Most pro poker players are. However, he had the wisdom, the foresight and the kindness to warn everyone about these ponzi schemes. The fact that you chose to ignore him is testament to your own lack of wisdom. A fool and his money are easily parted.

I just can't believe that, considering the embarrassing position you have put yourself in, you have the audacity to insult him or anyone else. Maybe it's some pathetic way to regain some dignity in this situation? I can't believe that you have lost so much money and instead of thinking "Fuck maybe I should have listened to that guy who was telling everyone it was a big scam" you are like "I am going to insult a guy who tried to warn me." It's beyond juvenile and beyond stupid.

It actually makes so little sense that you have me wondering if your parents actually are related in some way and your comments are some kind of projection to deal with the shame of losing money in obviously unsound "investments" and the worry that it might somehow be connected to the fact that your folks were 2nd cousins or something. I don't know, I am just speculating about why you are acting in such a bizarre and obnoxious way.

This all looks like mosrite to me again.

In the case of MPEX yes I agree. But with a kernal of truth, just the wrong person to be saying it. But in this thread, I cannot see any way in which he can profit from spreading the FUD Truth as he sees it.
2158  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario on: October 07, 2012, 12:21:33 AM
And that FUD is having no impact on the market right now too. /sarcasm

It surprises me that Nefario has any supporters in these threads at this point, even ignoring accusations made by theymos it is obvious that he no longer has the interests of his customers/investors/friends at heart. And that would only lead me to believe he has purchased his support or has leverage on them (probably monetary). Just sayin.

Yet more FUD  Roll Eyes

Thanks for reinforcing the point.

With the same knowledge I would make the same choices.

This is precisely why you are such an idiot.

Again, I think it's ridiculous that you have the balls to call me a retard when you have willingly handed your money over to so many poorly run investment schemes and outright ponzi scammers. I had the same knowledge as you. I made a different choice. I suspect this is due to wisdom and intelligence. You have been absolutely raped by obvious scams that I saw a mile away. I haven't lost a single satoshi, yet you call me a retard?  Like I say, I think lashing out is your way trying to hold on to a little scrap of dignity. Aww, poor you. Haha, you are doing about as good a job of hanging onto your dignity as you did at hanging on to your coins.

Nevermind, this must be another Micon puppet. Mosrite couldnt create full sentences.
