2006  Other / Off-topic / Re: [SELLING] My Old Dirty Wallet.dat (Serious Bidders Please) on: October 21, 2012, 11:31:04 PM
10 BTC

--edit--
Guess I don't qualify to bid. Nevermind Kiss

I will accept your bid.

I want to take this chance and ask the community a few questions. First question in my mind is, why people keep falling for silly scams and Ponzis? If you are going ti start a scam, put some brains into it and do it right or hire a professional such as Zhoutong to do the job for you.

Second question is, Why is it that I get treated like scammer, but when you research my post history you will find 3 important facts. Number 1 is that I am the oldest miner on the forum which means that the amount of BTC I have is ridiculous. Second fact is that I actually gave out bitcoins just for asking me questions. Third, and this is the one that I can not understand, I really want to help YOU make money and live a financially free independent life, yet nobody here seems to take that seriously. I really enjoy teaching people how to brake free from their 9 to 5 slaveshops, and putting their life and time back in their hands. My conclusion is that the bitcoin crowd I am talking to is young and immature and can not appreciate or understand the message I am trying to deliver.

In a nutshell, tired of being a broke troll? Talk to me, I can help.

Keep those bids coming people!!

Maria.

I dunno there are some pretty old people on these forums. I am almost 30, but I am sure I have seen pics of some people in their 60s on here. So you are what 70?

I like cryptostocks I have a ton of shares on there, all you are missing is more activity here to help drum up more volume. But I think its progressing nicely. And your site is not a mess like mpex and a lagfest like glbse. Only thing I can think of is to have each security give the option to add more than one currency they accept per share so they can receive btc ltc dvc if they choose to at whatever price they have set.

It will go the same way glbse did eventually. Its better if we come up with a  way for each security issuer to run their own company separately from any exchange.

The offline shares would essentially do that, cryptostocks, can you create a gui that can be downloaded and installed to manage your "offline" securities similar to the bitcoin wallet?
2015  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTOSTOCKS] (DVB) Devcoin Bounty Security on: October 20, 2012, 11:46:36 PM
DVB Has been regular with dividend payments and price has only been going up, keep it up Smiley

Yeah and even if you don't want to mix in vircurex or whatever the issuer can set their own prices.

For example, I would offer $13 strike Call for Nov 23rd expiration for 1.95
You mean 1.95 BTC? This looks to me as the same thing as O.BTCUSD.C130N on MPOE/MPEx that sells only at 0.25757542 atm. And MPOE consistently reports profit so their market making seems sound.
No its in dollar amount. And would MPOE honor such a commitment if say BTC went to say 30usd/btc? lol

And the price on MPOE is nearly $3usd while I'm offering it for 1.95
OK, I stand corrected. And if you prefer lulz over doing some research how exactly MPOE is financed, then sorry, I'll rather leave any further discussion to MPOE-PR .

The MPOE sites include un-moderated image board which have a tendency to include CP (child porn) and various other pretty nasty stuff. The community is still waiting for burnside or someone to launch a viable alternative to glbse and crytpostocks looks to be getting there.
2020  Economy / Securities / Re: GLBSE Payment Claims (Announce your payment here) on: October 20, 2012, 03:11:33 PM
No, because Nefario can go to the police now esp if he has AML docs on these people.

No, he can't. Because his collecting AML docs as an unregistered finanical institution was illegal as well in most jurisdictions.

This post bothers me. (don't want to derail or post OT, so will keep what I want to relay in the content of N, but applies to others who...)

I've seen the mega thread about AML as it relates to Mt Gox, reading most of the posts, albeit not retraining a lot of the info, but feel I got the gist, but not until now realized a possible deeper motive by those who request AML docs under the guise that they're entitled/obligated to request said documents.

A couple questions come to mind:

  • Is what Nefario did legal? (collecting AML docs as a UFI)
  • What are said docs worth on the BM?
[/b]
  • How could this private information in the wrong hands affect the future of those who supplied said docs?
[/b]
  • What other entities in the Bitcoin world collected said docs under illegal pretense, and are no longer around (include those still active)?

Again, I hope my post here doesn't derail this thread. If the subject matter is important, somebody please start another thread to address these very important concerns.

Thanks.

~Bruno K~

Those docs are worth anywhere from $50 to $500 or more depending on credit, and they will use them to falsify credit card applications and possibly get the person whos ID they stole arrested if it is not seen as ID theft.
