While for sure there will be people that will feel the regret on you and even you, it cannot be hidden. What matters most is you are able to spend and sold that with a very important thing that you have to address.

You do not need to feel bad about selling it even if we all know that bull run is about to come soon. What you need to think of is profit is profit.

It has helped you in emergency need and you will be forever grateful with that and it will become a memory soon that no regrets and you just did the right thing.
2142  Economy / Economics / Re: Al Transforming Job Market on: April 08, 2023, 10:03:18 PM
Bad news as it may seem, but we people have the best skills and abilities and one of it is to adapt.

And with such rapid changes and innovation with certain technologies like AI. Things will be eventually normal when we've already adapted the phases and changes.

We may lack of skills for now on how to maneuver and maximize the usage of it but eventually we'll get there for sure like being in the AI, machine learning, automation, etc. are going to be simple jobs in the future as if data entry in the past.
2143  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Every Bitcoin Purchased is a Vote for Decentralization!! Poll on: April 08, 2023, 08:47:35 PM
All of you've said are correct but what if it goes like this?

Every bitcoin purchased is a vote of confidence to this technology and its future.

And that is because not everyone will just waste money these days to buy something that they have no confidence at all and as we know, there have been more people came to the market during the start of the pandemic and even now that there have been big investors in the form of financial institutions.

Because these financial institutions are for centralization and that's the system they're following on, does that mean that they're voting for decentralization? I guess not but they're buying it mainly for profits and that's a confident move for them like Microstrategy because they're very optimistic and trusting to its future.

Anyway, have you seen the video that Ame cried in Somnus and telling sorry that he failed him to win TI8 because his morph was "noob" as he said? Ame still thinking of that and haven't moved on yet all of these times, now I understand why Ame is like after all of those years.

It had given him sort of traumatic experience. How I wish that they've won a TI.
I did see that clip earlier today and to be fair he was drunk when that happened so it was understandable, but it does feel bad when you look back at that moment since they were so good during that time yet they fumbled at the final hurdle.
It was a horrifying experience for him that he's still bringing it until now. Yeah, he may be drunk but I think the thought of his that he's thinking that he failed somnus and his whole team is still ticking on his mind.

I also want to see them win a TI but I think it'll never happen or there's a little chance they'd go back because now they're likely earning more money through streaming.
Yeah, it won't happen anymore. Somnus has retired, so just as ame and then the rest of the original PSG.LGD roster during TI8, together with fy.

Well who knows if these players will still play for some fun and accidentally manages to get a spot on the division 1 and then road to TI. Just a fun thought but yes, it's more unlikely to happen.
2145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it take to become a Bitcoin investor on: April 08, 2023, 05:34:33 PM
Buy bitcoin and that's what it needs to be to be called a bitcoin investor. You won't be a bitcoin investor if you hold Ethereum or any other altcoins.

There's no need to complicate things to understand and there's no need for any technical aspect needed to be understood by having means of that.

And as you invest in bitcoin, you understand that this isn't just eenie meenie miney mo. But there's a responsibility on your own that you have to take care of your bitcoins.

By means of that, not just in risk aspect but also responsibility on how you're keeping it and as you know, you should be the one holding your private keys and not the exchanges.
2146  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New virus & malware automatically empties crypto exchange accounts on: April 07, 2023, 11:06:56 PM
The virus comes from a browser extension, this is a common trick scammers use to gain access to our devices. When browsing on the internet we should adopt safety practices;
• Do not allow unverified extensions, if there's an alternative avoid them entirely,
• Do not click unverified links,
• Do not download random apps from appstores or PDF files which can contain malwares,
• Use an ad blocker to protect against pop ups.
I think the shortcut on this one for those non-technical people is the first one and that's to not download any extension that they're unfamiliar with. And even they're familiar with what they're downloading, they need to look at it first and see if it's from the official service and company that they want to download.

I guess the most common thing on this imitation will be from Metamask users. It's a very popular browser extension and wallet and it has a lot of users and keeps on adding more.

As a crypto user the ultimate safety hack is keeping your stash off exchanges and permanently offline. This way they cannot be hacked.
I agree, but no matter how many times we remind everyone. It is a personal choice that they think is less of the hassle because they can trade on an instant without doing deposit/withdrawal waiting time.
2147  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: sinbad-mixer.io is this a clone site? on: April 07, 2023, 09:04:33 PM
Great find.

We all know how hot the mixers are today and with a bunch of it having their signature campaigns in the forum, that adds more popularity in them and one of them is sinbad.

This is likely a scam website that tries to ride on sinbad's popularity. Anyone who's going to use and deposit on them is likely to receive nothing and that deposit is gone forever.

It can also happen into other mixers that these scammers will have their eyes on.

I recognize BetBoom as a strong team. Btw, have you noticed the name of ramzes' team named "EX-HR?" The roster have been dropped by the org and said they'll no longer be able to support their Dota 2 team. Well, everytime ramzes jumps into a new team, it dissolves.
I also thought BetBoom is strong but they're starting to look overrated when they can't produce the best results despite having the best players in every role.

From what I've heard why HR dropped them it's because the org wasn't actually in charge of the dota roster and on top of that some teams including TSM are likely to release their teams so that means the dota squad is most likely included even though they're finding success in the NA DPC. Anyway, it's only a matter of time until another org picks these two up since both of them finished first place in their region.
Yeah, it's better to have some org on their back so that they won't be problematic about expenses and they can just focus on games. That's the reason why many teams and players want to be in an org because they carry most expenses and at the same time, they all have got the resources.

Anyway, have you seen the video that Ame cried in Somnus and telling sorry that he failed him to win TI8 because his morph was "noob" as he said? Ame still thinking of that and haven't moved on yet all of these times, now I understand why Ame is like after all of those years.

2149  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Airbnb Crypto Project - Concept notice on: April 07, 2023, 11:05:52 AM
I have already thought of this idea if AirBNB is going to launch some good news about accepting payments in bitcoin. IMHO, with good projects that has the potential like yours, it doesn't need to have and make any new tokesn for you to go along with these innovations, acceptance and adoptions for bitcoin or entirely crypto payments.

What's a better approach to this idea is just to contact airbnb and be the source of this idea about accepting payments in crypto and have it worked by a third-party service upon booking to their website or offer a service that you'll be the source for that conversion and just hand over them the cash minus the deduction of your service commission fee.

If I'm one of airbnb executives and understands the concept of bitcoin first and then other potential cryptocurrencies that it's quickly convertible into cash which is what they prefer, then I might take a shot but not with any random and new tokens.

I understand your point, it's certain that the user will prefer to receive btc or eth than a new currency, it's completely understandable!
Airbnb has already mentioned its idea of wanting to make payment in cryptocurrency but I think with everything that has happened in recent months FTX / Terra . The United States are angry against cryptocurrencies and they are making it known right now. Also France my home country is starting to make anti cryptocurrency laws that does not bode well for Gafam. If he decides to implement the payment in crypto I think that the different states would be against after to see ...
These regulators really are a big problem in terms of innovation. But we can't blame them because of the fiasco that has FTX has brought and also the other projects like Terra, etc.

Anyway, it's nice that you've understand my point and I wish no harm to your project and even wishing you a success by working hard on it.

You know where you're going and coming from and this is an important point when you're working on a project and is very open to the ideas of the others that's being shared to you.

2151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am now a bitcoin investor. on: April 06, 2023, 09:05:07 PM
Welcome to the forum and also congratulations with your initiative for investing in bitcoin. While I give you applause for doing that, but it made me sort of worried about what you've said guaranteeing your parents telling them by December you'll have more, and they gave you additional money to invest again.

I think this is a wrong approach to say that you're guaranteeing and giving timeframes on when you shall profit because nobody knows how and when the bull run will start. The market is volatile and no one can predict accurately if by that time it's going to be a better month for bitcoin. Although in the past, we've seen runs that have been so good at the end of the year.

But as said, we don't know if by that time it what will be as you've expected. Explain to your parents also the risk of investing in bitcoin and what it is with volatility and you should be patient while waiting for that time to come.

Nevertheless, if you're short term and you're foreseeing out of the market by December I think that will change.  Cheesy

Received some similar email and they really do include the actual password that I've registered, and I have an idea of what shit website that was since it was a new one and I fell for the promo that they've made. Yeah, a promo of some good stuff like bag that are on a sale, they make huge, discounted price on it to make everyone think that the offer was legitimate.

And with such, it's best to ignore these emails and do not click anything that they want us to click because that's how they're going to win with these attempts.

Also, it's not going to an end because they'll just pass it on to another scammer to do another attempt.

This Malta Pinnacle Cup is really good to watch!

Took this bet on first map against Monaspa because yesterday they 2-0 BetBoom ...a team who is mega highly rated in Dota2 teams profiles and more than this , BetBoom are still looking to perform well in official tournaments and it seems Malta is not for them either.
I'd love to watch these matches on Maltavibes - Pinnacle Cup but I'm not in the good area as of the moment. Anyway, there's gonna be some replay that I can watch later on. But looking at the score cards, Monaspa takes the first map.

I'm tuning in with the Division 2 matches and they're where people are interested to watch on because there goes Team Secret and Old G.

I recognize BetBoom as a strong team. Btw, have you noticed the name of ramzes' team named "EX-HR?" The roster have been dropped by the org and said they'll no longer be able to support their Dota 2 team. Well, everytime ramzes jumps into a new team, it dissolves.

The Lakers are on a roll. I was a bit surprised to see that they were the underdogs against the Clippers tonight. I’m wondering if someone is out that I’m not aware of or something. For me, the Lakers are the favorites to win this game so I dropped down a little bet. The Clippers seem to be having their own issues and with Russell back facing the Lakers, it’ll be a good game for sure.
I agree that the Lakers are really doing great this time, I doubt that the Lakers haters will just ignore that fact that they've been performing well and the addition of D'Angelo helped them a lot.

It's also interesting to see that both teams has got the same standing as of now. Both has got 41-38. Well, this one win is going to mean a lot for them.

I think it's not going to be Westbrook that makes a difference between the teams. I mean he is a decent player there is nothing wrong with that, but we saw him play at Lakers for so long and he helped them with nothing at all, and won't help Clippers neither, but Clippers do have other good players that will help them for sure, that is good enough for them.
Individual performance, I commend him but you're just stating the facts when he's still with the Lakers. He impacted not that much but I think that the timing was perfect and it's also because that both AD and LBJ had gained injuries during his stay.
2155  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will hit $1 million for the first time? on: April 05, 2023, 04:50:18 PM
The soonest.

We all want to witness it as soon as possible. And that's what I wanted to see. Maybe after 2 halvings, there will be an astronomical gain which is not a surprising moment for bitcoin anymore. We get to see how it moves all of a sudden during a bull run and like last 2021.

It has multiplied nearly 4 times from the time it has got an ATH on 2017. So, having that pattern, if it will just gonna be around 4x or 3x on 2025 as the next possible ATH cycle, then from $69k * 3 that will be equals to $207,000(3) ~ $276,000(4).

And then for the 2nd halving maybe on 2028 or 2029 that could be $276,000 * 4 equals to $1M+. But I know as the cycle goes on, it's possible that it will be lesser than the multiplied times in the past.

sadly betfury closed the signature campaign on this forum but if only they knew that there is a lot to be gained by campaigning for casino on this forum in the long term i'm sure betfruy has the funds and also a great marketing team i think the betfury marketing team can think about campaign on this forum in the future because many casino examples you mentioned above have also succeeded from this forum.
They seem to be satisfied with the result and it did helped them to gather more users and investors into their platform.

Running a long term campaign is desirable and will give the benefits that the other casinos that has ran a campaign for a long time and then saw the impact for their casinos.

With or without budget issues, they know what's best for them and they've ran campaigns several times so, it is for them to decide to have one again in the future and still stick to the plan of having it short term.
2157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trading eggs with bitcoin! on: April 04, 2023, 10:31:15 PM
I understand that it's only specific for trading bitcoin<->eggs but there will be more to it soon.

But that's a good news and bringing good vibes to the market and for Costa Rica. That's a nice approach by the government since it's a consideration that bitcoin = money for them if they allow it to happen.

Aside from that trade, this will open the idea of other citizens that why is it just only used for trading egg. They can also use it for their other goods and commodities since they've been considering the acceptance of bitcoin to trade for their eggs.

Ooredoo Thunders was great on their match but sadly, they'll be the one who won't be getting the slot.

Congratulations to OG, the game 3 was intense and it's a comeback. I thought that OT was going to get that game and it was looked that they're winning the game. With the line up of OG, it's hard to see them win that match anyway.

But then, those crucial moments made them capitalized the win and turn the favor on them. That smoke at the top near Radiant's first tower, that actually was the turning over moment for OG.

The set of teams for the Berlin major is now complete!

OG is slowly turning the tides on their favor. All it took was a threat for them to be relegated to Div 2 before they perform really well. They have a lot of things that they did well on this match that they could do on their next games. Hopefully their match against Ooredoo improved their insights on how they should approach their games. That patience and untiltable attitude is what they need.
I am pretty sure that they've a lot from that match and it was like life and breath for them just to get qualified to the Berlin major.

It looks like it is an exciting game. I'll watch the replay later. I am glad that OG was able to take the last slot for Berline Major. It does not feel like it is a major if OG is not in there.
Watch the replay and you'll be amazed on how most match went. But, there goes the spoilers already.

Ooredoo Thunders was great on their match but sadly, they'll be the one who won't be getting the slot.

I couldn't believe my eyes. OT were playing so well but I guess the nerves got to them. OG were split pushing well to stall the game for a while but it was aboujt 80% dota + win probability for OT but they just couldn't push hard enough and get the win. Congratulations to OG for making it. However, I do not believe that OG will do well in the tournament though.
It was actually gonna be a game for OT but then, we saw how the game turned by OG and became in their favor. Just one and little mistake and the whole game will be turned around by any team. This has happened many times and we might see more of it in the Berlin.
2159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could be the Symptoms of Getting Loss in gambling According to you? on: April 04, 2023, 10:27:55 AM
1. First things is that we want all in all to cover our losses in just one bet.
And that is because we just want to have it back in the quickest possible way. It's like a mental syndrome that we can't get over until we realize that it's highly unlikely that we can recover it within a snap chance.

2. We use leverage that is more than enough to blow account in matter of minutes and that is very bad.
I'm thinking of this more with margin trading but it's just the same with #1 that we all want to have it on a single blow and get away if ever fate is with us.

3. We don't know what to do.
4. We get addicted to gambling and that is bad.
5. We become frustrated and some people end up loosing their lives cause they don't have any choice. [/b]
Jumping to the last one, this is hard to be stopped. While some are winning, there's also a huge number that vast gamblers are not just gambling with their money but also playing with their emotions.

And coming to that point that they want to recover all that they've lost, they're doing things that might be against their will but they resort to it because they think that it will be easy doing it. Selling their properties, expensive assets, jewelries, etc. and worst comes worst, ending their lives due to frustration and most likely, they can't get away with the debt and shame they've taken.

The Berlin major is about to get full, only the last one slot from WEU is being waited on to fill the whole stack of participants. So, the last slot is either going to be taken and will be fighted for by OG and Ooredoo Thunders.

Honestly, majority of us here would like to see OG participate the Berlin major and take that last slot but OT won't just allow that to happen easily and we'll get to see it happen later.

For the list of participating teams, you can see it here guys --> https://liquipedia.net/dota2/ESL_One/Berlin_Major/2023

When Yuragi was interviewed after their win against Entity, he said that they have a good chance to get into Berlin Major. It means that he is confident that they will beat Ooredoo Thunders in their tiebreaker game for the Major slot. There is a reason he is confident though. They easily beat Ooredoo in their first match on this tour. There is no reason they will be beaten unless they slack off and failed to prepare for the series against Ooredoo.

I think I will risk again on OG but I will check the odds first. If it is good, I will put a good amount for OG to win.
